He was professional, caring, and concerned about the problem i had with my 2007 Corrolla He was nice enough to tested and scan my car 3 times to make sure if I needed a new catalytic converter. I went to the dealership to have a few recalls done on my vehicle. They advised that I would need my brakes and rotors done (front and back 🥴) and provided me with a price (completely expensive). I remember coming to this MIDAS a few years ago and the service was good. When I came to have my vehicle serviced they were nothing but pleasant! From the time I came in until the time I left. They had a special going so I took advantage of that! The Manger Frank was very nice as well as his staff Jesse, and Steve! They had the music playing and it was a great experience overall! Thank you again Frank and staff!!
Frank was an absolute dream to work with. My muffler fell off and they got me in same day. In under two hours I was back on the road and it cost less than a third of the price the dealer quoted me. Thank you so much!!
I researched getting my brakes and rotors and this location came up recommended. I choose them and they did such a good job that I returned to get new tires. I will gladly go back. Did get a bit crowded in the waiting area but they offer to drive you back home if its within a reasonable distance

Saved me from a $2000 repair! My 2005 Corolla with 197K, broke the mid-pipe and other shops were only willing to replace the entire system with an OEM system from manifolds back. This shop not only squeezed me in at the last minute (same day), they understood my dilemma and did a professional repair in a few hours. Although the price tag was high for what the repair was (but not even close to friggin $2K), I was really impressed with the result and their customer service - thank you Frank!

Had the best prices on the tire I wanted (with the rebate). I did have to wait about an hour and a half for a tire replacement but thats about on par with anywhere else. They tried to sell me a brake replacement at $170 which I can do myself for the $50 price of the pads but, again, on par with other places.
First time coming here and was surprised they fixed my car issue while I came to get a tube up they told me what I needed and what was wrong they don’t lie they tell u the truth and left satisfied with the price ! Plus u don’t have to wait long lol book them😌
This shop fixed my hummer h2 AC component for a great price and did a good job. No, I dont work for them or do I know them personally. I also saved over $400 for the same repair another shop tried to charge me. Shop in Columbia try to say $800 to fix it.
Been here since 9:45am. Before coming I was told there were 2 cars in front of me. I seen 4 cars leave before they finally came to get mine. It is now 1pm and my van has been done but the manager( Frank) decided to go take a car for a test drive and now Im waiting for him to come back so I can get my vehicle. This is by far the worst experience Ive had going to an auto shop. Hopefully I dont have any extra problems. If so, I will be leaving another review and coming back for them to fix it.

Everytime I come here, I am never alerted in a timely manner about my vehicle being ready. They always add on services I never originally asked for causing me to pay money I wasn’t planning to pay. They have zero consideration for others time, for even the slightest tasks. They lie and do anything to make you pay more. All the money you spend and your car will still be there for a minimum of 3 hours. Don’t go there with any plans for the day they will not be on time and the service will be subpar.
They were very reasonably priced for an oil change with regular,, non synthetic oil. Hopefully they did a good. Planning on checking oil levels and other fluid levels tomorrow morning. Additionally they had good customer service.
DO NOT spend your money at this establishment. They have ZERO integrity in the business. They broke a part in my vehicle that was fine when I brought it in the shop and offered to fix it for an add on fee.

Front man Frank is professional and understanding. Have had many repairs done here and have always been treated fairly. Prices are descent. Jobs are finished quickly. Vehicle is left clean.
Went to one place for a oil change they said need to go to a mechanic I found Midas and when I got there was greeted by a tech he took me to Mr. Frank Thompson who was extremely professional ask what the problem was said he would take care of it, Some of the best service I ever received, Thanks Mr. Thompson and crew

So Usually i do my own work n on my car, my wheels were over tightened by the previous owner of the car so i went to jiffy lube to get a rotation and told them my siuation that my wheels may be overtighen, they instantly said no and didn’t even want to try to see if they can get the wheels off. So then i went to Midas next door told them the same thing. Didn’t hear a thing about it got me in and out. Definitely recommend them for quick lil in and outs
Ive never had a major issue here, and if there was an issue the team was more than willing and able to get it resolved right then and there. I never get turned away, and never get scammed here. Thanks guys for the great work you all are doing! I will always come here for service on my car.
The manager, Frank, is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. The service personnel are experts in their fields. Theyve gone over and beyond keeping my 2002 GMC Sierra truck running. Kudos to everyone in that shop.

Came in an hour before close with a same-day appointment. Brian took my car in immediately and had an oil change + tire rotation completed within 40 minutes. I cant speak to what other reviews experienced but I personally saw my tires being swapped and oil being drained/filled. Entire staff strike me as hard-working, honest men.Only two minor complaints--oil was slightly over-filled and they forgot to take off the coupon discount off until I reminded them (but they then adjusted without argument). Would easily return to this Midas location.

DO NOT COME HERE! I came into the shop and Brian Jennings approached me and ask me how can he help. I said I wanted my oil changed and I bought my own oil for them to change. Brian Jennings said they no longer accept customers oil because they loose money that way I was in shocked! He still changed my oil. After everything was done he went into a room and came back later to tell me my manager said we no longer accept customers oil all I wanted was to change my oil and he gives me BS. I dont care how Midas runs business but they should never ever tell a customer they dont do certain services because we lose money. Im not done here. This is going to corperate office. I will for sure not come back to Midas again

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE! Paid for an oil change 2 weeks ago. Now my engine has shut down. Of course MIDAS isnt taking ownership. WHY IS MY OIL 2 QUARTS LOW, VERY DIRTY, according to an ASE certified master tech? Just 2 weeks after paying for an oil change with MIDAS? Why arent you responsible for repairing my vehicle? SAVE YOURSELF. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

This Midas location is very untrustworthy! If your going to have work done to your vehicle here, make sure you keep an eye on the mechanic doing the work! I went there because one of my exhaust support hangers had rusted off & needed it put back on. Frank the shop manager told me himself that the rack that they had my truck on currently wasnt wide enough to do the weld because there was a chance a hole would be burnt in my exhaust. Well why did they still do the weld on that rack & exactly what Frank the shop manager said would happen is what happened!!!! Then when I asked to see the work, Frank pulls my truck out the shop & says theyre too busy to put it back up! I need 2 come back another day. Well of course everyday I go back Frank is too busy. Finally I go to another shop to have them put it on a rack so I can see whats going on & I am shocked to see the shady repair!!! The support hanger isnt even welded on & of course theres a hole in my exhaust! I go back to Frank & he puts me in touch with Jerry the Midas owner. Jerrys response was I deal with this all the time & Ill be sending you a refund check in the mail. Well you know Im never doing business with them ever again! Awful service

They will tell you anything to get you to spend more money.please do your research before going to a mechanic.

DO NOT TRUST THE MIDAS TOUCH LAUREL, ESPECIALLY LADIES!6/18 @ 12:30pm- Paid for an oil change at Midas Laurel6/18-7/2- Vehicle was driven regularly7/3-7/4- Vacation; vehicle was not driven7/5 @ 9:30am- While driving the vehicle in traffic approx. 30mph, every warning light on the dashboard came on, the vehicle began slowing down. My foot was on the gas. Called Geico, vehicle was towed to a safe location.7/6- Vehicle not working (Day 1). Mechanic came to review vehicle. Mechanic asked, “When was the last time you had an oil change”. I told him the date, and referred to the sticker on the window. He recommended I have it towed to a repair shop to have the vehicle checked.7/7- Vehicle not working (Day 2).7/8- Vehicle not working (Day 3).7/9- Vehicle not working (Day 4). Towed to licensed repair shop.7/10- Vehicle not working (Day 5). Licensed mechanic called @ 9:30am and asked about the MIDAS sticker and inquired about the oil change. He stated the vehicle was 2 quarts low on engine oil and the oil was very dirty. The engine was making a lot of noise, had no leaks and has locked. The engine was damaged beyond repair.@ 4:45pm I retrieved the vehicle and attempted to drive the 4 miles separating home, from the repair shop. The engine light came on 1.5 miles from my home. The vehicle began slowing down; the warning lights on the dashboard came on, 1 mile from my home the vehicle was towed again.7/11- Vehicle not working (Day 6). Still trying to accept the news, that the engine has locked on the 2013 Hyundai Sonata, which is my ONLY means of transportation! After paying to have the oil changed by MIDAS.@ 10:59am I called MIDAS Laurel, Steve answered. I informed him of the situation, he recommended I speak with the manager, Frank. Who was not in the shop at the time, but expected to return within an hour. Steve said he’d have Frank call me when he returned.@12:37pm I called MIDAS Laurel, Frank answered. He was clearly aware of the situation. He guaranteed me that the oil was replaced and a new filter was installed in my vehicle. I asked what type of oil filter they use. Frank refused to answer. I asked how could he guarantee something if he wasn’t there. Why didn’t he at least want to look into it? Why does my receipt say 5w30 oil was placed in my vehicle, but the window sticker says 5w20 oil was placed in my vehicle. The label on engine of my vehicle lists 5w20 oil. Was any oil placed in my vehicle, what type, how can you be so sure? In the middle of this call Frank to me to “hold on” left me waiting for 6mins, and returned stating he had a number for me. He asked who told me the oil was dirty, and demanded to know the names of the guys who told me and where they worked. He told me to go through my insurance company for help. I asked about his insurance information, he told me he would not give me that information. Jerry mentioned he had a car, “several cars actually, but his pickup truck had very dirty oil also”. Your shop has destroyed my only means of transportation. I’ve been beyond kind, they refuse to take ownership and fix this. DO NOT make the same mistake I did, this is beyond stressful and devastating.
