This tire place Almost killed me!!! They put a tire on my car they admitted they no longer used because it caused problems and bloated and could cause accidents!!!! Stay away from this place!!! Good shop but they have a ghost presence, electronically speaking. For example, their web site has a cool function to request a bid on tires and other items but they don’t respond to it. Nor do they answer emails.I’m not sure if they’ll answer a phone call.

While I understand that tires and and related services are their job, insulting me is uncalled for.

Had a tire blow out on the RV. We were about 15 minutes from this place. They were awesome! We pulled in, and within 30 minutes we were back on the road with a new tire. Thanks for quick, professional service!!!

They have a great reputation and good service. Friendly and affordable. They are always busy, and expect a very long wait. It is best to drop your vehicle off in the morning and expect to pick it up before 5pm. There are occasions when you may have to pick your vehicle up the following day. Call in advance in order to schedule an appointment.

This shop is good. They fix my problems and I didnt have take out a home mortgage to pay the bill. Took care of A/C problem, check engine light, and an oil change without an appointment. In at 7:45 a.m. out by 11:00 a.m.. Great service with friendly home town people.

Went in with a semi to get a tire patched and was waiting in line. Another truck came in behind me after I got there and they pulled him right into the bay and started fixing his tire. If this is the way they treat there customers then they can have it because I will not go back. Also after they did this I left. My tire will be fixed somewhere else and they will love to see my money also. Do not use this place.

Company is great just not the person I dealt with this morning. Came in around 7ish and asked the young guy if they offered any type of payment plan. He replied no. Went to another location and they were more than helpful and set me up with new tires. I guess the guy that told me no was having a bad morning or just wasnt willing to do his job the right way.

Got a good deal on tires I priced online and they gave me the same price. However, dont let them talk you into additional services you needed. They wanted $40 to replace my tag bulbs! A $2 bulb at most. No thanks.

Got us in and fixed up with new tires late in the day on a Friday, trip on Saturday.

Ive never had a good experience here. We have tired to use them several times because they are very close and we love to support local business. Unfortunately everything weve had done there we have had to take back to try to let them fix. None of which they have been able to do. I have had to rework most of the stuff myself or take it to other shops. 2 of our vehicles were not aligned properly (even though we spent a load of money replacing all the stuff they told us to/ ball joints, tie rod ends, control arms etc.) My brakes squealed and pulsated immediately after I had them done. Had to take them off and fix them myself. They didnt even put the grease in between the pads and calipers that came with the new brakes. They also told us our tires couldnt be balanced but we carried them Rickys automotive and he did a fine job on them the same day. I dont have the time to do every job myself. It would be nice to be able to take a vehicle there and just drop it of and know its in good hands. Weve also never had anything done there in a timely manner. I think our shortest wait time was about 1 hr 45 minutes. I really wish they could get it together. We are done with Southern tire mart until they make some big changes.

Today, 12/27/19, my daughter is driving to North Dakota with my grandchildren and she needed tires for her suv and was in a time crunch to leave ASAP. She was supposed to leave the next day but a winter storm was moving in and to avoid it her time was moved up a day. Southern tire was the only tire store that had all terrain tires that fit her suv in Laurel. We got there late that morning from trying to find tires from other tire stores. They were swamped and it looked like they wouldn’t be able to do it fast enough for her to get on the road at a good time. We Didn’t ask them to hurry or try to bump us in front of all the people that were ahead of us. We dropped the suv off and hoped for the best. When I told my daughter how long it might take she said she couldn’t wait that long, so I headed back to get her car, thinking they hadn’t had enough time to get all those people serviced and her suv finished. When I arrived at their shop there set her suv (2 hours sooner than their estimated time ) ready to go. Thank you Southern Tire Mart, now my family will be safer on their long journey

I took a tire up there to get replaced. Long story short they lost my tire and wheel, some young guy with short dark hair said he would order a replacement and call me when it’s ready. He never called and after 4 trips up there and 3 weeks I finally got a wheel and tire back. I work for a company that has a fleet of vehicles and I will not bring any more business back to their store

Southern Tire is the best in Jones County. They have an excellent oil change for 24.95, 5 quarts. They inspect everything and top off fluids. Cant beat it.

I bought tires here in may and had them rotated every 3000 miles. After just a few months of the tires being on my truck they started vibrating real bad so I took them to a local reputable tire shop and they said it was a slipped belt in the tire so I brought it back here hoping to at least get a little money back. They said I would not hear anything till after the 10th of october so I called back on the 18th of october and the woman I talked to (malisa) said she called me on the 28th of September and said there was nothing they could do that it was mechanical problems. She did not call me at all and when I called her she argued with me about the tire claimimng it had a slit in it until she realized she had the wrong person so she said to call back the next day so I did at which time she begins to argue with me again saying she had called me on the 28th of September. This lady is not a good representative of this company. I find the mechanical problems hard to believe due to the fact that the whole front end of my truck was replaced before I had the tires put on. Long story short do not do business with this place they do not stand behind there products.

I personally think its rude and bad for business when someone pulls in with a flat tire and in a bind since they cant get their spare tire down to change it themself and they turn them away because they are technically CLOSED... but they had about 10 other people there they was working on and I mean how long does it take to plug a tire, heck I would have did it myself if they would have let me... I will not be back by there, Id rather pay $50 more a tire then go back there...

Who puts a new tire on a spare rim, and slaps it back on the truck, then charges you to desposal fees on a perfectly good tire, all the while the bad tire is laying in the back of the truck,and yes it was explained to 3 deferrent ppl that its in the back, nevermind the fact that its obviously a good tire,, how do you loose a hub cover, then say it wasnt on the truck when it was dropped off, when I know dam good an well it was, why am I being charged mount and ballance fees when I bought the tire there, $1450 dollars for 2 tires, an oil change and new brakes, yeah thats a Lil outragous, but I guess thats how it goes, when you own every tire center in town,,, an no, I will not be doing any, any, any more business in your town again, so you can stop begging for local business, Ill be going to Hattiesburg from now on, that way Ill get more quality for the dollars I spend on maintenance, and the price of mind knowing theres no wanna be Walmart mechanic touching my truck, that you but no thank you
