Fifteen years of sun, rain, and snow had taken a toll on the paint on my Mazda. My beautiful red car now looked like a faded red and splotchy white car. I looked at all of the options for restoring my car and I chose MAACO in Laurel, Maryland. I scheduled an appointment with Antonio and he gave me a fair estimate for restoring the appearance of my car. There were no hidden charges or surprises at checkout. The paint and finish work on my car exceeded my expectations. My car looks better than it did when I purchased it new from the dealer! The interior of the car was thoroughly cleaned and vacuumed. I drove home with the feeling that I had just picked up a brand new car. I highly recommend the MAACO shop in Laurel, Maryland.

My experience with the Maaco of Laurel was great, Antonio was extremely helpful and professional when it came to explaining what I needed and didnt need to have done and I truly appreciated the fact that Antonio didnt try and upsell me even with items that I suggested I wanted done. The paint kept me informed on where they were in the process and the final results of the paint job is incredible, so much so that my wife now wants her entire car painted! Went to have a scratch and dent fixed on the driver side doors. The paint job was excellent but now my side view mirrors will not adjust. They are powered adjustable.

1 star is too much for this place, the manager and the people that works here is horrible, they dont know how to attend a customer.------I went for an Estimate, they told me I needed an appointment, which seemed completely ridiculous, I asked to speak to the manager and a most daring and arrogant guy came out who was not even able to say hello. I never go back to that place, if you want to restore trust, let go of those kinds of people in your company.

Amazing shop!! They took a car that was nothing impressive, and by my own words when quoting the job, “will never be close to a show car.” Well I was dead wrong because they worked there magic and the car looks ready to be on a magazine in my opinion. Worked within budget and for the price it’s fantastic work. Cant recommend them enough for classic cars.

I have been using this particular Maaco for 10 years now. I have done so much business with this place that I’ve gotten to know the two main guys there pretty well. They are great to deal with, have a strong work ethic, do an excellent job, and go out of their way to answer any questions or troubleshoot any vision I’ve had for all of my vehicles. I’m always so impressed with the outcome! I’ve used other Macao’s in the past, and theirs no comparison. The guys at the Cherry Lane location do the best work by far. In fact, I recently had a bodywork mishap occur while having work done at an automotive repair shop close to me. What a nearby body shop told me was near impossible to fix/match the color, Mike Frost and Antonio Tarpley not only matched the color perfectly, but did this in a 24 hour turnaround! Kudos to the constant pro’s at the Cherry Lane Maaco in Laurel MD!

I got three quotes for the repairs to my Honda Accord (including one from another Maaco shop). Antonio gave me the best quote by far! I showed up to the shop, he immediately greeted me outside to limit direct contact (because of COVID), walked around my car, and about 5 minutes later came back with the quote. No gimmicks or salesman foolery, just good business. He called me to pick up my car a day earlier than estimated and when I did, I couldnt even tell where the damages were. Tonys customer service is top notch. If you need body or paint repairs, go to Maaco of Laurel, not just any Maaco shop, but THIS Maaco shop.

Worked with Antonio to paint my 2008 Honda Civic. Antonio was professional and courteous. Provided me with a line item quote for paint and body repairs. Got the car back a week later and it looked like the day I bought it. I highly recommend this shop and I was totally satisfied with their work.

Im ecstatic! Not just the work they performed but the price I was quoted too! The clear coat on my front hood started peeling off and was looking very embarrassing to the point I couldnt afford to set my eyes on it in my driveway anymore. Had car repainted and minor scratches removed. Painted with the mid level option. Nearly 10 year old Ford Focus now looks like a new car; and got the car back one day earlier than expected. Tony T is a good man who treated me with the utmost dignity and respect. His recommendations reflected the best approach to take given the age of the car and my budget constraints. Be wise get different estimates just make sure to put Tony T on your list.

This place is a scam.I brought my car in to be repainted as the paint had started to flake in patches on the roof and there were a couple rusty spots. I opted to get the whole car repainted so it looked uniform instead of just the panels with the problems. They looked it over and without any caveats said it would all be done no problem.I picked the car up a week later and there were a few places that were not done that I did not notice till after I left. They told me to bring it in 30 days later to drop off. I take it back in and they ask to look at the problems I was bringing it back for. I point out where in some places the paint had formed sharp points on the bumper as well as where the paint was missing completely (the crease between the roof and the window). I was promptly told that there was nothing they could do about it because they couldn’t get to that area without taking out the window which would have added to the price. When I asked why that was never mentioned all I received was Sorry. Sorry does not help that I was told the entire car would be repainted, and not the entire car minus the crevices that they can’t get to without charging more. They tell you that they guarantee the paint job for 4 years. I ask if they will fix the new guaranteed area for free if the area they didn’t reach starts to creep up and ruin the paint. Their response, No sorry. This is a sorry place and I would recommend people to look elsewhere for any car work. This place will screw you over and will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your car in, but they will not work with you to make sure everything is completed to your satisfaction.

I previously had work done by then years ago. They did a great job. I refer them to my boyfriend. He went there and before he could even ask a question or say hello, someone came out and just said “No”. He told the man “you didn’t even let me ask you a question.” He said “We can’t fix your car, it will take to much time.” The car is a 1970 Buick Electra that has one chip on it. So I don’t recommend this location. The person was rude and apparently they don’t need the business.

They saw me at my scheduled appointment time and did a great job putting my tail light in. Manager was really nice and if I need work done in the future I’m going to this MACCO!

The owner sold the business after I got a quote and had the job started. They did not want to honor what the owner had stated so it was an uncomfortable situation with price and what I was quoted. Job was done ok with a few issues. The quote was not real detailed- things were said and not written down. Beware of this business.

Maaco Laurel fixed my car after it was hit and really took the extra steps to make sure my car looked its best.

Car had rear end damage ... due to nature of accident, we were working outside of insurance; price was definitely a consideration! After some online review research, brought up to Antonio at Laurel Maaco. Gave me an on-the-spot estimate which worked for the $ available. He also suggested doing one part of the job myself (taillight assembly), which I did and was easy, to cut cost! While doing the work, the estimate was only increased once (due to additional things found upon disassembly) - and it really only increased a couple hundred dollars (small percentage). Work was done fairly timely, and the result was great (car looked very nice upon pickup and no complaints after a couple weeks of driving)! Thanks to Antonio & team! I would do business again!

Maaco Collision Repair & auto Painting Laurel Md, 20707I had a terrible experience with this location.The owner/Gm(Michael Frost) was extremely rude and condescending.Prior to this incident, I had done business with Antonio Tarpley and hadno problems, he was polite and informed.Anyhow when I arrived on 07/10/2017 to drop off my car,my intent was to have my car painted for the $299 special.My car was primed/sanded and ready to be painted.The week before I had walked into the location and discussed the costwith the estimator Rudy Perez..it was established at $299 possibly more.when I arrived on Monday during my conversation with Mr Perez,the Gm Mr Frost thrust himself into discussions, and proceededto inform me in no uncertain terms that the price had changedand was now estimated at $370.He insisted I pay upfront (which I did) I found this strangeinforming me that work performed would have no warranty.To some extent I understand upselling, my issue was the toneand approach, I work in sales and understand the importanceof customer service.I ended up picking up my vehicle on the 07/13/17.The paint job was fine....however on my way home my carbroke down....it is currently in the shop.I dont believe the breakdown had anything to do with Maacobut because of my exchange with the Gm, it left me veryFrustrated.......I will not return to that location ever.

I had a bad bumper repair that was an insurance claim. They did a great job but could have cleaned out their mess better inside. They were a little slow keeping up with my insurance company. All in all I was satisfied with the work. You couldnt tell my bumper was crushed and hanging off.Tim

I am a dealer and have used just about all of their locations in Maryland. Out of all the locations, this is the only one I will use. Antonio has been great to work with. Their work is second to none.

Brought in a spoiler to get painted and in two days the paint started peeling off. Their answer was, cheap parts, cheap results. My thought is if you do it right the first time it shouldnt matter. Now I have to take the spoiler off and bring it back and wait another week for them to finish.

They made my Jeep look like new. Fixed all the dings and matched my old paint perfectly.Ive gotten tons of compliments since having it painted at Maaco in Laurel.

Paint was horrible seems to have alot of orange peel. I had used maaco before and never had orange peel on my paint. Also was told I could not use my 30% discount on my purchase. Additionally they did not even attempt to remove my license plate. Painted around it and left it stripped behind the plate.
