Deer hit vehicle. Called Chevy dealer in Laurel and they referred me to Caton Auto Body. Dropped off vehicle on 11/30/12. It is 1/7/13 and they still have not touched the vehicle. They say they now have the parts and will put it in the shop tomorrow, will be another 2-3 weeks before it is complete. They told me it would be ready the 1st week of Jan due to the holiday and them being closed which was ok, but then to have them say thats not what they told me, they swear they told me it wouldnt be worked on until the 1st week of January. Every time I called they gave me a different reason why it wasnt being worked on and why it wasnt ready. So ridiculous! I filed a complaint with the BBB.

A tree branch dented the roof of my car during a snowstorm and I was referred here, to Caton Auto Body, by a local dealership. As I was in no rush, I did not press them immediately for an ETA; however, upon calling after nearly a month, they had yet to order parts let alone work on the car. While this was annoying, the real issue came when I picked up the car only to find that they had actually caused additional damage to the car while it was in their possession. Unfortunately, not only did they not admit to damaging the car, they went so far as to show me a crudely falsified initial inspection form as proof that the damage was preexisting. This was all quite disappointing as the work on the roof appeared top notch, even now several years later.Hopefully this behavior was that of a single shameful employee who has since been fired and is not representative of the company as a whole. If you do patronize this company, however, I would recommend taking **comprehensive** photos of your car -- where damage exists as well as where it does not. If possible, I would also recommend getting copies of any forms they fill out pertaining to your car before any work begins.

Im very very angry about this trash place first people are dummy and Im bring my wife car to fix after 3 months they returned very badly and all over with dust and they even fix one of the mechanical damage and now Chad who supposed ve the manager its a lier I always bring the car back and they keep it for another 3 weeks and returned same and when you ask nicely to please fix it they just hang out.So this is a trash place I even dont choose them the other insurance tell me to bring in and they dont want to get the car fix its a dummy and trash place

Great customer service

They did the job, but they will be really slow at least a week to replace a bumper. Then probably the weekend and a couple more days. I went here because usaa sends all the work to other places in the area on hwy1, and they are packed and act like they dont really need business. 2 week wait at some, but they will usually be ready to do the work in 2 days, I know because I went to them for other claims-- autobody and glass I think they are called. So if you need to rent a car without insurance it will probably save you to just go to the dbags at autobody, but if you want to start the work earlier bring it here.
