You wont find a more knowledgeable crew, anywhere... plus this is the only place in the state that will service Buell motorcycles. Also, they have a handful of bikes for sale. They can be contacted if you have a bike for sale. They have some gear also. Its a rad little spot. Show your love and loyalty to this amazing Bike repair shop. Prices may vary but they are up front and honest. I wont take my bikes anywhere else. Thanks!
Ive used this place for both my Harleys and these folks are on it. I wish I would have known about them sooner. They were also on time with my stuff.Definitely recommend.
Great work, caring and conscious mechanics that can work on any type of bike. If you have a Harley older than a 2005 you know Harley Dealers will not work on them. Take it here first. They are busy so you need to make an appointment. It is worth the wait.
Triumph in town would no longer work on my 2007 Bonneville under what is called the 10 year rule where dealers dont want to work on bikes more that 10 years old. I was stressed but found Main Street Moto. Made an appointment for an oil change and chain adjustment. Steve offered to do the work while I waited but I already had a ride to go home and pick my bike up the next morning. Ive had eight different bikes so Ive been to many different shops. Steve is top notch. I am so glad I found this shop.
A few days before a trip to Moab, Utah for a class in off road m/c skills and touring, I called Main Street Moto and Dyno Tech. I was having issues with my speedometer and fuel system map.MSMaDT agreed to work me in to an otherwise booked schedule. (Greatly appreciated!) The speedometer issue and fuel issue were resolved, and I was on my way in 4 hours. The owner and staff were friendly, capable, accomodating, and compotent.Highly recommend, would use their service again.
I will not take my Harley to anyone else!!! These guys are fast and efficient with the best attitudes and conversations. They make you feel welcomed and the prices are painless.
Got handlebar job took longer than expected but that was a job dont right, got bike back from them was told brake light was staying on might be wiring they said. I took it home noticed my blinker light was not working as well, called them they said come in. When I got there I told them they were working when bike was dropped of, they couldnt help me at that moment had to schedule appointment so drove back home. I was frustrated so trying to figure out what it could be and it was just a fuse but also noticed fairing cracked, so just to all riders make sure you record bike of everything working before taking to any shop hope this helps
Shout out to Steve and all the staff, great customer service, with a friendly atmosphere and great pricing. Everything done was very transparent. Steve did an awesome job on the dyno for my 2020 fxlrs with powervision/cam/pipe/AC upgrades getting it dialed in with great hp/torque numbers on the chart. Runs like a beast. Will be coming back for any upgrades or heavy maintenance!
Great place to do business with. Staff got right to my bike, very pleased. What ! Great customer service as well, far as I can tell two thumbs up, with a five star rating
So far Im happy with the service.. They want you on two wheels as much as you wanna be.Red is a good guy..
I paid these guys $200 to rebuild and re-jet the carbs on my ‘81 Honda and I’m pretty sure all they did was open them up, unscrew one of the jets and then closed them up again. The good part is that it only took them a couple of month to do it. Maybe it was a mistake or mix up on there end but unfortunately it happened.
Repairs completed as requested, I have no negative comments to make. I hope I dont have to return but if I do I know Red in Service and Steve the owner and the technicians will do whatever repairs right the first time.
My Man Red took care of my Harley. Replaced tires front brakes and Neck Bearing. The bike rides great so glad I called them very friendly and helpful.
If looking to customize your motorcycle, order part to morale changes THIS is where you want you want to go . Its not much but VERY helpful staff.
I have been riding for s while have been to my share of shops and they were heads above the rest Very helpful and knowledgeable I have never been their before and I was treated like I was a old friend they will deffently get all my bussness
Very upset. Will see how this ends before i post
Had work done before they have fair prices and good mechanism. I prefer dealing with Steve or his wife. Theyre the owners
I really love this place, they always help me out whenever I have trouble and take great care of my bike. Always tried to squeeze me into their busy schedule knowing my bike was my only transportation. Had to take a break for the winter but going back during summer.Really reassures me theyll ride test bikes before handing the keys back to the customers.
This is THE best motorcycle shop in all of southern Nevada. Awesome staff and owners that really care about quality of work and customers
Booked appointment. Took bike in. Service done and done on time with price as promised. Professional, courteous and polite thru the whole process. First time in. Will not be the last. Only place I am going with my 2020 Electra Glide. Thanks Main street Moto..
They are always helpful and always did best to take care of my needs. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Steve and Tara are great peopleTerry Hilke
Fantastic place! Good to know that there is a real motorcycle shop in town where you can talk to the owners on every stop.
Took my bike in for Valve adjustment and new plugs. Bike was done in exact time frame quoted. Bike feels superb again. When I collected my bike I was greeted by the owner Steve. He was already working on a bike but still took time to go over the work completed on mine.Even though I was a first time customer I was treated like Id know them for years.Peace of mind is huge when having any work done and I trust them completely.Big Shout out to Red who was my first point of contact and handled my transaction.Thank you Steve and your crew for all your quality work.Cheers!
Cool bunch of guys, technicians will talk with you and give you suggestions and options with your bike problems. Sales reps are good people as well.
Good people, they know their stuff and are friendly. Go out of their way to help you out. Came here for parts, not yet for service or repair yet.
Definitely i good shop. I will be returning for future repairs
My girlfriends Sportster had an electrical issue where it would just die at freeway speeds. We took to 2 Harley dealers and 2 other shops and couldnt fix. Steve put in a new ignition switch and whallah works great now!
I have an 05 Big Dog Ridgeback. Its been a great bike, zero problems, but after 14 years, the battery wasnt charging and clutch was creeping. Turns out stator had basically disintegrated which perhaps cracked the clutch hub with all the broken stator parts floating around in the primary. After diagnosing the problem, MSM sent me photos to show the damage and the damaged parts to get permission to move forward. Really appreciated that. Just felt like a real stand up honest shop. Replaced the stator and clutch hub. Bike came back as good as new and a year later is still running great. Not one drop of oil under the bike since they worked on it. Seems to run better than ever after going through the shop. Really happy with the work. Much appreciated.
Walked in today and got a real throwback to the 70s chopper shops of my childhood...Was very nicely listened to by Tara even though my stories can be windy...Had a mechanic listen to motor with stethoscope and initially diagnosed with a detailed diagnosis after I work my way through the line up...I am very impressed with Main St Moto and look forward to a long relationship....
These guys did an awesome job setting up my bike. Might be the best $ money I’ve spent on any bike. Price was 5, yes 5 times less expensive than a competitor. Money aside Steve did a great job of setting my bike up. It is a different animal. I highly recommend these guys. They are top shelf quality and honest.
Brought a 71 basket case back to life forever grateful
Shipped my Triumph Tiger down from Canada and, the morning of my departure for Baja, it wouldn’t start! Called Main Street in a panic as my ride group had to leave me behind and head for the border... they welcomed me in, opened bike up right away and made me a priority! Made it look easy and had me ready to go in under an hour. They even let me order lunch with them! Steve, Tara and the gang... THANK YOU!! I may be from Canada but I’m a customer for life! Great shop, great service and even better people. You need help with your bike - this is the place. I wish I had an option to give Main Street 13 stars and not just 5 ❤️. Thanks Main Street!
Great Tuners,
Cool shop with lots of awesome bikes to look at and try to convince the wife to let you buy. Tara and Steve are awesome.
Very messy place, went in to see about getting some work done and the sales and/or service staff wasnt real knowledgeable, kinda of a let down.
Super helpful staff. Got what I needed and a nice leather vest. Will be my go to shop in the near future.: Update! Went in to get clutch adjustment only to have to take it to Harley Davidson. Dont want to say they did it but their reaction when I stated my clutch went out was defensive. Dont know what they did but it can back worse on top of that I got stranded in the desert. Not cool. Never going back 165.00 is worth knowing who not to deal w.
My old Custom Harley needed attention. The Staff was excellent. Red and Tommy took good care of me.
Steve and the crew are the greatest!! Hands down best customer service in all of Las Vegas!! And the work they do on my bike is very reasonable prices and very good work, will not take my bikes anywhere else!! Thanks Steve, tommy and rest of crew awesome work!
Just wanted to add I wrapped a 350 mike plus ride yesterday and my fuel milage with two up and 1/2 load was 45 mpg on one fill up and 48 on the second. Prior to your tuning it was a struggle to get 35 alone and empty. And the exhaust pipes are much cleaner. No stink from pipes either. It was smooth and powerful throughout the rpm range. You guys do awesome work. Thanks for making the big red bike run so good.
Great shop. Great staff. I rolled into here in the midst of a cross country road trip with a super stiff throttle, they helped me out right away and fixed it for a price that was more than fair. Wish this shop was in Seattle where Im from - theyd always have my business.
Wonderful staff! Great customer service! Took my electra Glide down to have it checked out! Two flat tires aired up and a test drive later all for fee and I was on my way home! I have a crank shaft issue with only 10 k miles on bike! A Harley Davidson faulty part they never replaced and I ended up with a model with this issue, i can’t say enough good things about this moto shop! I will definitely give them all of my business in the future!! Thank y’all at main st moto! James Evans
This guys here are awesome, had a bike that had not run for years, and had motor zone work on Decatur work on it, 1600 dollars later it ran but not good and finally had ot taken to main street moto and they had to redo pretty much everything the others claimed to do. Got the bike back and ran it several weekend later and it stalled and then broke down completely on the road. Had it towed back to Main street and they realized that the fuel tank was not venting fixed the issue and had it running great again. Went I went to pick up the bike these guys did not even charge me
Do not take your bike here . Extremely bad customer service. Got my bike back they did not fix the problem. In fact I was left stranded by the road. I was 1mile from the shop. They said get a tow truck . They dont back up there work they make excuses why its your falt.Asked for a refund was told no.What they charged me for was not the problem
Met with Steve for the first time dropping off my bike this morning and was very impressed. I was tired of the typical unenthusiastic Well take a look at it attitude that I usually got from bulk business repair shops like Ride Now and Carter. Steve took the time to listen to the problems Ive been having with the bike thoroughly to plan out the best course of action. I definitely plan on making this my go-to shop and would highly recommend.
Great shop, the writer Tom was superb. Would definitely go there again. People were nice and easy to work with.
Went down there to check out the place people are nice and helpful.
Had a really great experience with their basic tech class.!!! Awesome place ty
Wow! Hands down this business is top notch! Ride with confidence on repairs.
Stopped by on my way through Vegas because I needed a carry in front tire mounted and balanced. Super positive experience. Quality craftsmanship at a very fair price. THANKS!!!
Family run business and you dont feel like a number here. Steve is the most knowledgeable tech Ive EVER spoken to and their prices are fair.
Sort of rude
Did great work in a timely manner. Definitely would refer them to anyone that needs work done. Price was very reasonable as well
Great shop and great people. Will definitely give them my business.
Great work by skilled mechanics. Wouldve been 5 stars but turn around time borders on torturous. Broken bones heal faster than repairs are made due to the shops volume. But thats the price you pay for this kind of quality.
Main Street Moto is a cool little independent motorcycle shop in the heart of Las Vegas. I think they work on just about brand plus they have a dyno. Main Street Moto also sponsors a vintage bike night once a month. Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices.
Id like to thank Steve, Tara, Tommy, Red and the staff there at Main Street Moto for taking in my 2011 Street Glide with a mysterious issue.... thru a little work and research to puzzle the minds of many as to what was causing the bike to act out on start up. They baseline the problem thru a few parts at it... stood behind what work they did and figured out the issue and got me back out on the road today. Enjoyed the staff there and always answered and gave me weekly updates. Sure as any owner and bike enthusiast would like their motorcycle back pronto... some things take a bit of time....just goes to show you how busy and the amount of bikes there, they know what they are doing. Some repairs and such take longer than WE like. Ill be back and look to Main Street Moto for my future work that I dont want to take on myself.Thank you, Ed
Always closed
Steve once again proves hes the best at tuning. Took a few but I couldnt be more happier with the results. Ill always bring my bikes here knowing it will be done right. Thanks for the tune...
Called to ask for a part, confirmed, drove across Vegas for it: They didnt have it. But, eh, the guys were nice.
Definitely a great place I will suggest to anyone who has an issue with there motorcycle the get the job done Everytime 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I was having a really difficult time finding a local motorcycle shop that was affordable and didnt try to up-sell services I didnt need, until I found these guys. The mechanic was friendly and informative, and rebuilt the forks on my SV650 for a very reasonable price. I definitely plan to return next time Im due for a tire change!
I rode my bike here from Canada and stopped by the shop to ask some questions about my bike. They were so helpful and so friendly. What a great shop with fantastic people!!
Greedy business. During first Friday they towed 20 peoples cars including my friends and said she needed to pay $320 to get it back. Yes, there were a couple signs on the wall saying that vehicles will be towed at owners expense but it wasn’t very clear about what part of the parking lot was theirs. Also, the signs were hard to see for those of us that are visually impaired. In addition, there were no signs at the front entrance stating that parking without a permit was prohibited, and there were a bunch of cars that were not towed (w/o a sticker or permit) that were there before we showed up. Furthermore, we parked there after business hours.... Point blank, if you know that there’s a major event happening near your business and you feel like people will illegally park in your space, please have the courtesy to put a sign out in the front, or use a fence or cones to block the entrance. Also, why are you picking on choosing whose car to tow. There were cars in your parking lot that should’ve been towed because they didn’t have the credentials, yet they weren’t....
Great knowledgeable staff, in they have parts for everything.
Resurrected my Victory Kingpin. Now I wish Polaris would do the same. The motoworld is big enough for that great Victory design. Thanks Steve and Tara for your help and dedication.
So, talk about outstanding performance and articulated customer service! Tara, Steve, James and their team, wow! I am incredibly impressed with the service and effort provided to me by Main Street Moto. My two wheels are my only means of transportation. When the wiring of my starter switch burned up I was stuck on the street. I called old reliable Stu from Stus motorcycle towing to get me out of a bind. Initially I thought I should go to Carter Honda, glad i didnt. Stu recommended Main Street and since I trusted him I knew I could trust the recommendation. The Team at Main Street Moto Dyno Tech worked their tails off to get me back on the road. With the limitations of oem parts distro and network difficulties they pulled the rabbit out of the hat.I got my ride back, cleaned up and ready to roll. It is rare to have this kind of service and dedication. I am tremendously grateful for their efforts and I recommend them to any serious bike owner. Great job folks, thanks again!kirk
Good place to go full service and nice friendly people
From New York and visited the shop a few years ago while in Vegas. I have a Turbo bike and Steve was great in answering my questions and helping me tune it via the phone when I got home. Told my local HD shop about it an they now call Steve and get help when they have Dyno tuning problems with customer bikes.
Great collection 👍 of all styles of SCOOTER S toHOGS. AND FULL. Service mechanix
Honest people with better labor rates than anyone in town.
I had my 76 GL1000 (4)carbs rebuilt and Steve did a phenomenal job. They are synced perfectly. They also changed my timing belt, oil/filter, throttle cable and threw on new tires. Steve is the only guy in town I trust on classic bikes.
Dont go anywhere else.I rode up to Las Vegas from Cali when my ignition wiring harness started flaking out. The bike would just shut off when the handlebar was turned full lock. When I brought it in, Steve looked at it and quickly figured out that the part would have to be replaced, soldering the connection probably wouldnt survive long on my thumper.I was in town for a couple of days, so they overnighted the part from BMW and installed it the very next day. After I show up and pay a very reasonable parts + labor, I get the keys from Scott. By the way, at this point, Im already happy with the bill for just the ignition harness being replaced. Scott tells me that not only did they replace the part, they adjusted and lubed the chain. Also, did you notice that your trip meter was broken? I went ahead and fixed that. I was floored. You wont find any other place that will treat you like Main Street Moto does. When you roll up, youre taken care of like family. Dont bother with any other shop.
I brought my bike in and had issues that I could not track down. After doing my own work for over ten years on this bike, I had met my match. Quickly, they diagnosed the problem and gave a quote. I agreed and they fixed the bike only to call me days later and tell me there was another issue. I agreed to the fix and the extra expense. When I picked up my bike, it ran great and seemed perfect. However on my ride home, the ride felt odd. It turned out, the problem they fixed was an issue from some customizing I had done years earlier. Also my left grip had been glued in an uncomfortable orientation for me. It was loss for years and they decided they knew my comfort level. So without telling me, they raised my back back up to its stock height four inches higher and glued my grip wrong. Why would I pay an extra $150 to have someone undo what I had done and could easily fix myself? And what kind of shop raises someones motorcycle and doesnt tell them when they ride off on it? When I called, they were defensive and rude. I cant understand how a bike shop doesnt understand how upset someone would be when they raise their bike, glue their grips in the wrong place and fail to mention these things. I wont be taking my Harley there if they cant even fix my Yamaha without understanding an every day rider.
Always on top of my issues when I get to town.. good folks, good prices, excellent service.
On the road from south Florida on my 2011 FLHTK and developed intermittant starting problem in Flagstaff. Switch appeared too be the problem after replacing fob battery. These guys took me right in diagnosed the switch and relay issues and had me back on the road in an hour! Very reasonable and cant say enough about their professional approach and service. Go here!
This shop is fantastic! I have dealt with a lot of shops, I have owned 6 bikes. I moved to LV and thought who the heck am I going to trust with my bike?? Saw good reviews for this shop and they did not disappoint! Tommy is one of the nicest, genuine guys I have ever met and his customer service skills are off the hook. Steve who used to race gsxrs worked on my 06 gsxr 600. My bike unfortunately blew my stator, rectifier, and proceeded to fry my ECU and all my lights/electronics. Took it to MSM and they not only got me back on the road but at very fair prices and kept me informed the whole way through. I cant express my gratitude and recommendation enough. The coolest part was that they have every kind of bike in the shop. High end Harleys to home built bobbers and everything in between. Rockets, choppers, bobbers, dirt bikes, Ducati the list goes on. Wouldnt trust anyone else after my experience. Thank you Main Street Moto!! Will definitely be a repeat customer and an advocate for your shop!!
Ridiculous prices for the most mundane fixes. The people that work on the bikes are great. The people at the front desk always sound like they could care less about what they are there for.
Fun
The did a great job with my 17yr old ex cop bike.runs smoooooth .very reasonable prices
Friendly, honest service at affordable prices. Steve is one of the smartest guys around on the Dyno.Pete
Top notch service, great price . Highly recommend this shop !
I wont take my Harley anywhere else. Great people, great shop, excellent work
Ive been to Las Vegas Dyno Tech more times that I can remember and the work has always been not only amazing, but also very fairly priced!! That combination is exceedingly rare these days. Steve is not only an awesome mechanic, but a freaking wizard when it comes to creating custom maps for your bike.. He made me a map that not only added a few hp to my 2002 honda f4i, but more importantly smoothed out the throttle. The bike that what cursed with flat spots throughout the entire power curve is now a smooth pleasure to ride not only on the track, but in the twisties and on the street. I highly recommend Steve at Las Vegas Dyno Tech for any needs you may have, as hes never let me down!!!
Nice friendly people.. Willing to help out
Diagnosed and fixed me up! This will be my new shop!
One ofthe finest independent motorcycle repair and service facilities in the Clark County area, work is of the highest technical and professional level, the only shop I will use, or recommend.
Honest, fair priced, great work. Best shop in town.
A few months ago I called Main Street Moto DynoTech, introduced myself, told them I was having problems with my custom chopper and needed to have it towed after another shop blew a simple oil change and fuel tank drain. Main Street Moto first got me in touch with an excellent tow company which specializes in bikes. Once there Steve (owner) went over the entire bike with me to determine my needs. After they did an excellent job getting the bike in roll-mode, I decided to trust them with some specific deep mechanical improvements and modifications I wanted done. Long story short, they did everything I wanted and needed. The bike came out super excellent. They went the extra mile to make sure cables, hoses, etc. were not just installed properly but layed up in factory new condition. Also, they have a righteous retail section which offers all kinds of helmets, gloves, jackets, gear, and jewelry. For you women riders out there: do not hesitate to bring your bike by MSM. They are a trust-worthy shop with which you can keep your dealership honest with.Steve, Tara, Raymond, Scotty, and the crew are tip-top.Pay them a visit.Oh yeah, keep an eye out for their Vintage Bike Night. This monthly event is a monster and has seriously kick-ass bikes and cool people..
Best shop in Las Vegas, hands down. Ichiban
Fantastic folks over there.Had to get the 20K service done on my fxdl, I could have done it myself but didnt want to lose receipts and blow my HD warranty so I brought it here on the words of a trusted friend.I was told they had a few big jobs on their plates and could get my service done between those jobs, but it could be a couple days...I dropped the bike off Saturday and got a call before noon Monday that she was ready to come home. Now I dont know about you but thats just awesome to me.The folks over there are also very friendly and knowledgeable, they dont try to upsell like the stealerships or get you to buy things you dont need.Moving forward these folks have my business 100%. Thanks again!!
From out of town but was heading back to town with our bikes. Had only one day in vegas to get a tire on my wifes harley super glide. Went to the motorcycle tire store and was asking Melvin at the store where I could get someone to check my wifes harley super glide and get it dynod before heading back to Courtenay on Vancouver Island. He said to give Dyno Tech a call and ask for Steve. Steve answered the phone and I told him the problem. Bike was running terrible. It had a Vance and Hines fuel pack on it but the bike barely ran on a trip down the Baja so I took it off to get back to Vegas.Steve asked me to swing by so he could look at the bike. Got there at 11:00. Told him we were heading home the next day. Any way he could help out?He said he would clear some things out of the way and get the super glide on the dyno at 13:00. So came back and bike was on the dyno by 13:15. Asked where I could walk to and get a beer and a bite. Sitting having a beer and I get a call saying they needed the keys to remove the seat. Damn. Forgot to leave them. Right in the middle of my beer too. No problem Ill send someone down to grab your keys. Wow really? Ok. 5 minutes later and Tara shows up for the keys. So about 30 minutes later get another call. Theres a problem..... hate those words. Steve asked if I could come back to the shop. Sure. So the original plan was not going to work out. He explained in great detail the problems and what my options were. We decided to go with a Power Commander V for the bike. But couldnt get it here in time for today....crap I said. He said hold on. Got his cell out and started calling around. Asked one of his guys to hop on his scoot and go grab the. Commander and the store closed in 30 minutes. So his guy roars off. Got it back, bike dynod and on my way by 17:00. Total came to $800 including three t-shirts. The cheapest in town? Not sure, i know the prices at home. And this was very fair. I was around the shop for several hours. It was obvious these guys have a devout following for a good reason! Took the bike out of town to ensure the bike was dialed in. Up into the hills, flat out100 mph on the highway. Let me be clear - THE BIKE HAS NEVER RAN THIS GREAT. EVER!! Thanks to all your staff. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and FAIR price and DONE RIGHT the first time!!SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BIKE SHOPS PEOPLE!
Initial meeting went well. The manager, Tommy was receptive to my problem and we have an appointment to evaluate the machine.Hopefully this electrical system install can be resolved w/little drama. HopefullyFuture updates pending.👍
Well organized
Awewome shop. They can help with any MC repairs or maintenance you need.
I had a problem with my scooter the charging system wasnt working so I was running on battery only when I stopped and ask her Harley-Davidson shop to help me charge my battery they did didnt charge me thats saying something for a Harley shop to help a guy on a moped this place definitely has class
