Im restoring a 57 Chevy and have been using Metal Supermarkets for over a year now and will continue to use them for all my metal needs. 2 weeks ago I bought some pieces to build a workbench, but realized my welder wasnt strong enough to secure everything together. I went back and was going to buy lighter gauge but rather than taking my money, Wes worked with me to figure out a solution by putting me in contact with a awesome welder he knew. He did not need to do this as it was my own fault for not thinking through the design, but he took that extra step to make sure I was able to utilize the metal purchased and finish my project. A really great place to go if you need small quantity metals. Better prices than online cut to size. Better prices than online. What they dont have, they can get very quickly.

Metal Supermarkets is such an enjoyable place to do business with.Knowing absolutely nothing about steel, I took a list of materials in that I needed to have a gate built at my home. Francisco was so kind and patient to work with me, answering all my questions, and even redoing the quote when I changed my mind on the gauge of steel to be used. He went above and beyond to find exactly what I needed, explained everything to me in a simple to understand & clear terms, and gave me an estimated time of delivery since a few items had to be special ordered and cut to specific size.I look forward to everything arriving so the project can get underway. I’ve been working with Metal Supermarkets for a couple months now. Salvador (the General Manager) and Sonia (the Office Administrator) have both been very pleasant to work with. My primary contact has been Sonia. Weve had numerous phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.Sonia has consistently been courteous, professional, prompt, and an excellent communicator. Her willingness to go above and beyond, her ability to clearly and effectively communicate what their needs are, her ability to learn quickly, and her exceptional skills resulted in me charging them much less than what wed originally agreed on.In addition to having my own positive interactions with Sonia, I was able to observe how she interacts with customers. Ive had decades of business experience, in numerous offices, and Sonia is probably one of the best office managers Ive ever seen.Id highly recommend her, and Id highly recommend Metal Supermarkets.They know the industry and really care about doing their best for their customers.

If you go there in person they are great and will respond to you and your order. However, if you place an online quote request, forget it! Never get a response other than the automated received you request. My online quote requests have been responded to within an hour at Curtis Steel. Have placed two that were never responded to at Metal Supermarkets.

Amazing service. Ive been around with many metal shops trying to find the material needed and this place has become my first and only stop. Great people work here and are always on the ball faster than I can sign the receipts. Shout out to David Sal & Frank!

Something was not right with this place I called and talked to someone and was asking about Metal Supermarket, because i had never dealt with them before. This guy got all defensive saying we can sit here and debate all day and then they quoted me a price that was 1000.00 higher than other shops and they wanted me to pay then in full before I even received my metal. That set off all kinds red flags. Needless to say I went somewhere else. Shady Business

They tell me my material will be ready at 3:30 pm. I wait 40 mins, I show up at 3:20 and they dont give me the material at 4:10 pm.I ask for 18 g material galvanized the guy give me 20 g, he said he tell me day before he will give me 20 g,Galvanized, I pay by phone the day before. I dont have a confirmation, to show him, he give me 2 sheets 8 x 4 18 gage, and 1 Angle 20 g 8f long 4x 4If I am asking for 18 g 8x4 why I will ask for 20 g angle. Next time I should ask for a confirmation. I just paid over $140 just for an angle.

Ask for JR or Frank there both in sales and are really good people, always helpful,But if you see 5+ customers waiting In line, expect up to 30 - 45 minutes wait time for your parts!Ive been shopping here for 4 years now with orders usually never over $50, mainly aluminum for school and personal projects.Despite hardly being the ideal customer considering how much effort I take for the very small profit, Frank and JR have always been pleasant or better than fair with pricing.Meanwhile I have gone to their competitors when I was too far away and always gotten attitude and the jerk around on all small order occasions.Definitely the best place to go if you are spending less than $100 on bulk small metal.Good prices for steel but not much else to compare it to. Their accessory equipment is meh........Im surprised they dont try to sell more welding/machining equipment since there a global franchise.All in All very convenient! And way better than buying a whole stick when all i need is two feet!

Ive requested two email quotes over the past few months and didnt get a response. Recently I called for a quote, left my number for a callback, and never heard from them again.Its good that theyre busy, but its strange for a company to make it hard for me to give them money.

Metal Supermarkets Las Vegas is great. I’ve never bought metal there before but doing a ramp project with my son I needed a pipe and a piece of sheet metal. I ordered what I needed and it was ready within hours. When I picked it up I realized the sheet metal was way to thick and heavy for our project. Obviously since it was cut I couldn’t return it and called while I was still there to see if they had something that would work better for my ramp. They did and even showed it to me. Trimmed it to my dimensions and sent me on my way. Now to sell this other piece I have no use for. I recommend calling and then going to look at the metal if you’re not completely sure so you only pay for what you need. Thank you to the crew at Metal Supermarkets.

I have been going here since they opened 4 yrs ago. Its pricey stuff, but you get 5 free cuts per 20’ stick so it good for what you pay for. I tried going cheap and the metal just wasnt the same in cut and quality. There are only 2 sales people so sometimes you do need to take a number and wait to talk to one of them. But the wait is usually less than 10 minutes and they have made great suggestions and have been really helpful. If you do know what you need and can get it yourself from there drop section, then the checkout process is pretty quick.Pretty much Great customer service considering the industry which is important for those of us who do not really know what we are doing. The shop is always Nice and clean. It’s well laid out so you can find what you need; and see all that is available if you do not really know what you want. They stock Hot and Cold rolled steel, Copper, Aluminum, Tool Steel, Plate steel are all good in stock.There drop section is ever changing new stuff added daily & there at a great price.This is your shop for pretty much everything metal!!!

Something is really wrong here! BEWARE!!! out of business and selling everything in scam. Craigslist ad shows this store stripped of all logos, but it is same shop. You call a # and guy says you make an appointment and pay $200 to get in. No prices, just come see, no refunds, no cuts.

Metal Supermarkets Las Vegas is a fantastic for anything and everything you could ask for when it comes to metals. They have lots of options to choose from and a ton of projects from raw material to prefabricated stuff for gates & railings. They pretty much have anything you could imagine.They are less than Home Depot or Loews when it comes to everything steel.I use Air gas for welding supplies and they recommended me to these guys, so glad they did!! Metal Supermarkets carries everything from ordinary steel to out of the ordinary shapes, grades and sizes.They will serve you in a pinch if you need basic drops or a sheet cut to any size. They also get 5 stars for their super cheap prices on DROPS, they are always open to walk ins and super helpful.I know that they got what i want when i need it! Keep up the great work guys:)

Metal supermarkets are great if you want someone to cut your material. If your doing alot of Fab work avoid these guys. 4 times the price of other local suppliers and super shady. Will give you a quote then not honor it.

If you’re in need of Steel or Aluminum, Metal Supermarkets has a vast selection & fantastic service!!Just go and see what they have in stock it’s ever-changing. Odds are, they’ll have it and be willing to cut everything to size in a short amount of time depending on the number of cuts you need (8 or less) you could probably walk out of there in a half hour with what you need.Maritza & Sal are really good people, they have a great selection and are always very helpful and knowledgeable. But please know what you want or at least have an idea of what you’re trying to accomplish.I’ve been purchasing from them for the last three years and have noticed on more than one occasion hobbyist or so called inventors just wasting their time trying to have them engineer / design / build a project for them.. To only have them purchase nothing, or get upset because there idea is garbage & cant be fabricated for $25.00. Don’t you see your holding up the line in the lobby, they really don’t care about holding the rest of us up.Kudos to Maritza & Sal for being so patient trying to treat every customer with respect, but my last visit i sat and waited for my order to be cut and witness a customer first hand waist over 35 mins (he was there before i even got there) of their time while they were also busy answering phones and the customer purchased nothing but there min of $15 worth of scrap…….. Metal Supermarkets Las Vegas is Best place to buy any sheet metal you need cut to your exact size while you wait.Only complaint was I tried calling an order during business hours, but I couldn’t leave a message because the mailbox was full. But they were nice and cut it fast and exact size so I’m not deducting a star! Other They’re an exceptional small company to do business with.

Extremely overpriced and unprofessional. I order some steel and was told I could pick it up later in the day. I called later that day and was told it be available early the next day. I called the next morning and was told it wouldnt be ready until later that day. By that time, it would have been too late for my project so I asked them to cancel it and refund the money. The Manager told me that there are no refunds and that theyll let me know when the order was ready. I explained over and over that its too late and to just refund my purchase. She was steadfast in telling me no.I eventually contacted the corporate number (its a franchise) and the guy told me he would contact the store and instruct them to refund my money.Im a reasonable individual, so I knew it would take some time for the refund to appear on my bank statement. After a week, I contacted the corporate office again and he then informed me that I need to contact the store again in order to get my refund.This round robin way of doing business when your prices are 3 to 4 times the cost of others is terrible. I certainly wont be shopping there anymore and, as a fabricator, will be sure to NOT suggest this place to my customers.This review and all of this trouble could have been avoided had they simply fulfilled my order as expected or fulfilled the expectation of a refund for services not rendered.

Metal Supermarkets is excellent. I operate a small shop in Henderson; my orders are often small. Yet, they treat me as if I was their biggest customer. Estimates are always fast and accurate. The staff is small (4 people) but friendly and truly helpful. It’s nice not having to a buy 20’ length when I only need 3’ of 4”x 4” x .25” tubing. They routinely go out of their way to help me get the things I need so I can service my customers. You have my continued support. Thanks Scott P

Called and got a a quote on 1.20 wall 1 round tube for $46 per 20 foot stick. Told the guy I was on my way and driving so I would pay when I arrived. Pulled up 30 minutes later and then they told they only had a single 10 foot stick for $46. The guy on the phone told me I should have paid when I got the first quote. Use Curtis Steel or other suppliers if possible. I have had good experiences in the past with metal supermarkethsupermarket soured me on them.

I had a great experience working with Salvador and Maritza at Metal Supermarkets. The staff could not be more helpful. It is so easy doing business with them. Salvador is extremely creative and easy to bounce ideas off. It is fun talking projects with him because I am always surprised by what he comes up with! Some of my orders are for small random pieces to repair heavy equipment, yet I am treated like I am ordering a truck load of material. They are a job shop but do some fabricating. There work is always top notch and turn around is FAST. They are very patient with me, wish more businesses had customer service like this. I am always happy to recommend them to friends if they ever need any sort of custom metal work, not matter how big or small. Give these guys a try! I would not recommend this place to anybody. I ordered some plates thru my work. I took them a plate already finished as a template. Not only were they not ready when they said they would be, I got attitude and excuses when I expected them to be ready. When they finally were ready, (a day late) they were very poor craftsmanship. No straight edges and the edges were left very rough.(enough to cut some one) The holes werent even round. A kid in metal shop could have done a better job. Zero stars would be a better rating. Never again

I found the material I needed without really knowing what I needed. I had an idea and the staff pointed me in the right direction. I’m very pleased with the results. I’m so happy these folks were there and I got the material in 2 days. Perfect!

Use them twice both times positive experience fast and friendly service from the staff. I like the fact that they will shear or cut any metal type down to any size I want even if it’s from there drop area. They don’t sell scraps they sell drops, they make sure you know the difference. They always have a good variety of specialty metals Copper, Brass, Bronze, Alum etc. So I can usually find what Im needing without buying a whole sheet or section of material. Great service, they could use more employees been there twice with a line. All in All it’s great for my metal needs.

Being a retired I was working on a very small art project, but right now it doesnt look like art! But after visiting Metal Supermarkets it does. After I told them what I wanted to do, Sal and Maritza helped me find exactly what I needed. If I had listened to them from the get-go, I would have been in and out in 90 seconds. But they let me take my time and they went over my drawings and even Googled similar ideas for me to look at. I decided to go with their suggestions, and it turned out great! Anyways, It was a Fantastic experience. I will recommend Metals Supermarkets to anyone who appreciates good customer service mixed with solid product knowledge.

This place is GREAT! Metal Supermarkets is GREAT! I got several Custom Steel Signs cut as Christmas presents and they were PERFECT!! Each one of my family members now have their very own metal signs. I also picked up shooting targets for both my father and brother as gifts! I got everything done in one place! Will definitely be going back to get some more made. I now have a place to go for any metal project and I no longer have to worry about taking the time to cut every piece. I brought in an entire list of things and they had it all ready to go that SAME DAY! Metal Supermarkets is the place to go for everything metal. I am a Electrical Contractor and I needed to have some aluminum boxes made quickly for a job in Las Vegas. I worked with Maritza, who was very professional. She reviewed my design and made some great suggestions. After that, she went over the different Aluminum grade options that would meet my needs and fit my budgetary requirements. I came in to Metal Supermarkets on a Saturday at 10:30 AM begging for some pieces of Aluminum 16 ga 40.25x 11 to be triple broke and told them I understood that it was a bit late in the day for this.... The Manager smiled and told me to come back in an hour. Talk about blow my mind!!!When I came back an hour later to pick up my aluminum, they had it fit up perfect on my frame! Nice works guys! Square, in tolerance, and a friendly smile to boot!!!! I got what I paid for here. Quality work, Fair price....Thank You Guys!!

I am a novice welder, and Im just doing personal projects. Ive gone to Metal Supermarkets a few times now and they have been great with me. I was worried that I would be seen as a not real customer since I am just buying small amounts of unusual one off stuff. But every time there has been just the opposite. Today I purchased 2 12 sections of 12 sch 40 pipe, which was way better than having to buy 40 anywhere else. The guys and lady were amazing, everyone friendly and more than willing to help. They cut my pieces just as I needed them. I am so thankful that Metal Supermarkets exists here in Las Vegas. Got exactly what I needed. In and out in about 15 minutes. Awesome service Thanks so much!

Very good experience. Materials were cut and drilled correctly. Project was done and delivered in one and a half days. My driveway looks great, no more curb problems. I have gotten several positive remarks from family and neighbors. I would work with them again.

Dec 2018 I bought several 20 foot sticks. Square Tube and Angle from Metal Supermarekts and had them delivered to my house Saturday Morning. Everything went great. The Driver was great (thanks Chris for having tin snips for the shipping strap). I used to Fab a lot about 10 to 15 years ago. Metal Supermarkets gave me my 20foot sticks in 5 & 4 foot lengths no extra charge! They make life so much easier. Ordering the metal went well. I went to the office. Talked to Rose about what I wanted and was offered to look at the metal. Waited and then was escorted to the back of the shop. Then I uped some sizes.. i can keep going on and on. Overall, great experience from order to delivery. Oh, prices were great too getting cut to my size for free! Thanks Metal Supermarkets

Went there for a 9 by 9 piece of 1/8 steel. The piece was on the scrap shelf and they just had to cut a 9 piece off of it. They charged me $20 for it. I could have gotten 40 pounds of steel from the scrap yard at Curtis Steel. What a ripoff! I was in a hurry, so I bought it anyway. I would have paid $2 for it at Curtis! The girl at the counter tells me the more you buy, the better the price. I can understand if they had to cut it off of a big sheet of steel, but the piece was a scrap piece 10 x 15! This place is close, but Ill drive a few more miles to go to a place that doesnt want to rob me!

Great experience. Ordered an 11 long polished stainless tube to make a handrail. They were very helpful on the phone, but their website was a hot mess not very detailed or handy (with pricing and material calculator). But in the store they were very well priced and beat the competition by about 10%, even though Metsl Supermarkets wasnt in my area (Northwest Vegas) and I needed delivery.(wont fit in my car)In store costumer service was great, (Salvador) provided me with photos of the product before I ordered, they delivered it for free (3dayslater) so I didnt even needed to drive all the way back over there. They also have plenty of options for material, and finishing (brushed/polished/galvanized etc.)All in All, I saved about 50% of the cost of ordering a handrail from a big box online store (and if I did, the shipping alone would kill the price of the project), and I felt much better helping a local veteran owned small business. I will definitely Shop here for any & all metal fabrication needs in the future.

As a woman I fell apprehensive at times going to male dominate companies (ie Steel Yard / Lumber Yard) because they assume you dont know the lingo and just want to waiste there time.The projects on which I work are generally small in scope. Finding a metal supplier willing to sell in small pieces has been a huge challenge.This is not the case here, Franscico gave me a personalized tour of the facility, explained all his capabilities. Punching, Bending, Sheaing etc.I explained what I needed and they took care of me immediately. Even more incredible was their cutting service.I gave them the dimensions and angles I needed and in a few hours I was able to pick up my parts cut to exact fit.Francisco and Salvador were absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend Metal Supermarkets LV for any and all metal needs. You will not be disappointed I was incredibly surprised to find a very clean, professional and modern store.The staff there were extremely helpful and very friendly.

Id say my companies done decent amounts of business with Metal Supermarkets for a few years now and they are easy to work with and reliable.There ability to provide great fabricated pipe stakes in such a timely manner (24Hr turnaround) was a life saver! I came through the back door but the shop guy Brian helped me find the bar stock I wanted. Once I knew what metal I needed I went inside and ordered it with the front sales staff, They were professional enough they don’t have a crane they use fork lifts to move product to the loading dock. I had figured I would cut the steel with my angle grinder using my inverter, but before I could plug the cord in Brian asked if I’d like him to half the stick for FREE. By the way, a 20 foot bar of 1 steel is not light. Even cut into 10 foot lengths. After cutting it they loaded it for me. I appreciate that. It was a bear to unload when I got home. It was so heavy it caused me to exert myself. So if you are going for some larger bar stock, bring a friend, or a flat-bed truck so they can just lay it in with the fork lifts. A very good experience & I will use them again.

I was looking a specific piece of steel that I wanted cut for the back of my fireplace to reflect heat. I called every steel company in Vegas no one was able to figure out my problem or maybe they did not want to put their energy into a smal job. Finnaly i ended up going to Metal Supermarkets. Sal & Maritza were there and very helpful. They had no problem talking with me and helping me design and building it. It took them lest than 30 min. Trust me if youre looking for something and need some help making it. These folks mean business, They truly care about the customer. Great place. Since then Metal Supermarkets is my new go to company.

One of the shadier purchases I’ve done from what seemingly is a professional company. I ordered some metal and they had to go pick it up rather than having it in stock then when I got there I didn’t think about it and signed something that didn’t have the price I paid. They wouldn’t show me the paper I signed.

Went in to get a sheet cut for my gate so the HOA would be happy and not see my trash cans. Gave them the messurements & They cut it while I sat there. 20 min in and out. Ok folks

The first 3 times dealing with these guys was a good experience. What really ruined it for me was the 4th time. I will never go back. I was using their Plasma Cut service. Great pricing on it, but the operator doesnt know how to nest components to get the best efficiency of the materiel. I was paying for 12x15 of 3/16 sheet because I told them it easily fit on that size. My parts nested only take up 9.5 x 14 with .5 clearance. I came in the 4th time to find I was being charged for 17x21 for the latest cut! The owner refused to see this as a problem. I know its about a $2 difference in price bu that really adds up when you are looking to cut thousands of these parts. I even called corporate to try and resolve. Corporate said they would have Avery call me to resolve. I still havent heard from them in over 3 weeks. THIS IS EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I really wanted to resolve things and not leave a nasty review, but I am extremely dissatisfied. I am now using another place to have my parts cut.

I didnt really know what to expect when searching for a local Metal supply store online, but more or less knew what I had in mind that I needed for my project. I also read that there are very few shops in town that will cut everything to exact length for me while I wait. You can also buy small quantity drops, which I discovered that a lot of customers visit to just pick threw a couple racks in the wear house.So naturally, upon my arrival I was greeted by a nice lady in the front. The first thing I asked her was “Are you open to the public?” I was told Yes Metal Supermarkets serves pretty much everyone. Without getting over dramatic about it, this place is excellent; there are not enough words in the English language to describe how helpful Maritza was in person. Unfortunately, my problem with my Swamp Cooler stand was understood to be worse than I had anticipated.However, just speaking with them, they helped me understand what I needed and didnt make it seem too over the top for a knuckle dragger like me which definitely boosted my confidence in being able to handle the job. (As it gets hotter, the F*** it meter rises exponentially.), Anyway, I had to make two trips up to the store, one to find out what measurements I needed and several more pictures the second to come back talk to Maritza & Chris about getting my new stand built and painted beige.3 days later I was called to be informed that my stand was ready for me to pick up! Got it home and it fits perfectly. Im not going say it for sure, but I wouldnt have been able to do it without their help, but I wouldnt want to have tried it without it anyway.Before you call a Craigslist Handyman give these folks a call. This place is great for stubborn DIYers that want to save a few hundred bucks.

I went to Metal Supermarkets on Monday to make a welding table. I gave them my cut list with miters, they cut it all perfectly, wrapped, labeled and deburred everything at no extra cost! Had it delivered to my house the next day. The cuts were better than i expected, everything was exact which made it easy to weld up. Saved a lot of time, Ill be getting all my material cut to size from now on!

RIP off artists! We called in the morning and they quoted us $30 a piece for a couple pieces of metal. Then when we called again later that day, they tried to charge us $70 a piece!! Well we ended up finding the same metal at Home Depot for $17 a piece. I wouldnt trust these guys!!

I put a order in with them on Friday morning. I was told the item could be done the same day. By the time I got there, the order was set to be completed on monday, but no later than Tuesday. Ok, not a issue. Never heard from them by then. So I called early morning Wednesday. I was told it would be completed around 2. So, I waited to call at about 3. At first, excuse was the guy who works the tools was out. Called the last time, machine was down. So I asked for a refund, they dont give any. Ok, if you cant provide me with the services that Ive paid you for, there should be at least most of my money back. But, none?! So, was promised that my product would be ready to day. Guess what?! I didnt hear from them! Thats not a shock at all! So, since I had to at least leave a star, ok. But, should be negative stars on this review bracket. Veterans discount for nothing. Thank you!

I really like Metal Supermarkets. I use them for my at home welding projects as well as for on the job projects. They have a very good selection of materials you can buy in short lengths as you walk into the warehouse area, and they also have lots of remnants. I have certainly heard of people who say they are more expensive, though when I have compared prices with other industrial sellers I have not found this to be true often enough for me at other suppliers I have to buy a lot of material. As a hobbiest, I try to find a supplier open on Saturday... You are not going to find crazy exotic alloys (though I have seen stocked tool steel and Copper Bars), but they are well stocked with typical materials a fab shop or hobbiest would use. The people are always very friendly and helpful. This small business has something going on, everyone is always so cheerful/ helpful - they get my continued support!!

I started using Metal Supermarket after moving to Henderson. I immediately noticed the prices were quite a bit higher than competitors in the area but the close proximity to me and the convenience of cut to size I decided to use them. My first visit my order was given to me missing many of the pieces I had ordered. Some of the pieces were so far out of tolerance they could not be used. I decided to give them another shot and bought some premade tabs they have for sale in bulk 5 gallon buckets. These tabs had the same issue the tolerance was sloppy and I decided to return them after about an hour. The employee stated no refunds all sales final. Both times I had issues with the products the staff was rather rude and not not very helpful. My experience here leaves alot to be desired. I am a welder by trade and have used many metal suppliers and would have to rate my experience poor with this store.

Very unprofessional!! Spent over 1000 in materials and was told I would get a call when items arrived due to them not being in store, and when items were delivered, I was not notified! then was advised I should have been calling them after I’ve paid for my items to stay on top of me getting my items.

They always have small scrap copper pieces for jewelry I make. Great store, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable employees.

Was looking for a metal sheet for my generator setup 35”x 23” . Been at One place by Tropicana and valley view. Was told to wait 5 days . Luckily my wife found this place online. Placed the order over the phone and it was ready upon my arrival . Great experience.

I was excited for a metal store close to me. Stopped by at 7am not open as it says opening at 6am. Came back later at 10am asked for a t profile stock. All I got is we dont have that. Wrong business hours. Not interested in your business. I take my orders elsewhere

Only place in town that would cut me 3 14 circles out of half inch steel plate same day! Talked to Sal 8am, he had them cut & ready by 2pm! I will use them again for sure.

Had what I needed...I wasnt willing to drive to a larger supplier but should have. The price was 3 times more expensive than what I typically pay.

Worst possible customer service. Called three times about stainless tubing and kept telling me they would call back with a quote!! Never heard back from them. Dont waste your time with this business!!!

The sheet metal I ordered was cyut wrong and they argued that I gave them the wrong measurement. To remedy the situation, I requested to have it cut to specification, but the very arrogant guy refuse to cut it just to prove that it’s my fault. What happened to customer service? I left the sheet metal and will never come back.

I was working a job in Las Vegas and the steel I had shipped out to the site came in incorrect and I needed a replacement that day luckily I found Metal supermarkets online and they had exactly what o needed and cut it perfectly to spec that day!! YOU SAVED ME!!!

Not even worth the drive there...not helpful at all. Stated they could do the job but expected an outrageous fee. My advice..look elsewhere!!!
