This place offers outstanding customer service from start to finish. The quality of the work they do is like non other outstanding. They specialize in radiator rebuilding and major machinery work that is Topnotch. Keep up the great work.
Would leave 10 stars if I could. This place provided me with an excellent restoration to my 1923 model T radiator. Jimmy could have very easily said it needed a new core and charged me double, however he was able to salvage and fix what I had for a very reasonable cost. They provided me with excellent customer service. I shipped my radiator all the way from the east coast to have them work on it, and would gladly do it again. Would highly recommend to anyone that deals with antique or unique radiators. Thanks again!
The work they did was ok, but their customer service is awful. Seems like they dont care for return customers, even with a business. We used them twice. The first time wasnt bad. But this time it took them 3 1/2 months and when we got the invoice, it was for 3 hours of work. Were in the midst of the pandemic so whatever, but they had excuses every time we called to check on it. They worked on the head for one of our motors. Claimed to be working on it, then said they only had 1 guy who did that and he was on vacation then came back and had an emergency and was out again, then claimed they hadnt done anything because the instructions werent clear. If they were too busy or backed up, all they needed to do was let us know. When it was finally done, the lady refused our company credit card and said cash only. I tried explaining to her our company will not pay with cash, she still refused any payment other than cash. We had to talk her into taking a check and holding our parts until the check cleared. The price wasnt too bad, but we will never return due to the customer service. Even our accounts payable received an attitude when she requested a W-9 in order to get them paid! The lady never even received the W-9 and I had to hold the check until she could hand it off to me. I understand that they may have been screwed over in the past, but that was no way to treat a customer.
Ive been going to these guys for machine shop work for nearly a decade and have always received top notch service and fantastic quality workmanship. They wont waste your time or your money and they give it to you straight- no bull and no nonsense. Its hard to find honest people who do honest work and stand behind it, especially in this city. I cannot recommend them enough. Yall are awesome, keep up the good work!
Didnt end up having the work done, but they are extremely helpful in person and on the phone. I will definitely come back the next time I need motor work done.
Awesome service with a quick turnaround. The work was top notch. Great overall experience.
Sent 2 antique motorcycle radiators to Motor Mission for restoration. April and Jimmy kept me informed of their condition along the way. They pressure tested them to check for leaks, cleaned them thoroughly and said a lot of gunk came out, straitened my many bent cooling fins, pressure tested them again and gave them a nice coat of paint...they looked great when I got them back! Looking @ their website I was amazed at the many different types of heavy equipment they work on and yet they can still handle smaller projects like mine. I would definitely use them again.
Took my 67 Camaros heater core in to be re-cored. Knowledgeable & friendly staff! I knew right away I was in the right place to have the work done.
Customer service was great
I call to see if they had any radiator by chance or can you fix the one I have I told her for an Ls400 95 car as she munch on chips loudly in my ear dummy told me whats that I dont know what your looking sir I said I just told you a radiator for a car an ls400, but if I was looking for some kind of chips shell would of probably look on the computer thats in front of her ask what kind of chips... Dummy should of not be working for a professional radiator shop like that all it takes one question to confuse dummy so I hang up..
This place is by far the best Radiator and Machine Shop. The gal always goes above and beyond helping get our jobs in and out in a timely manner. Keeps our trucks moving. Thank You for all your hard work.Great Family Owned Business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jimmy is the man.I dropped off some beat up Audi cylinder heads for a refresh. We replaced all the valves, guides, springs, retainers, and seals. We ran into some fitment issues with the new valves and Jimmy and his crew came up with an awesome solution and worked with me and the vendors I was dealing with to ensure we were installing the correct parts.Above and beyond. I wish I had more work to bring these guys. Real, honest, great experience.
Great customer service!! And very Knowledgeable!! Went in today with a seized rebuilt cylinder head and within minutes had a solution for my problem. My first time here was a great experience and Motor Mission has earned my future business.
That place is terrible, do yourself a favor and look for another shop!!! Be aware and dont get swindled by the 300lbs blonde lady that seems to run that place .. Stay away!
Rude lady on the phone
Jimmys one of the most down to earth guys I know. He was very patient while he helped me decide what parts to choose while building an amazing motor for my 69 Stingray. In fact, the whole crew are great people. They are always pleasant to deal with whether on the phone or in person. He wont hesitate to talk you out of spending your money on parts and services you dont need. Ill be using him to create my dual Spal fan system in a few weeks. Awesome work guys!
Some of these machine shops you have to worry about but not Motor Machine. Straight forward and honest. They do great work. My Cylinder Head came out looking brand new. Pricing is fair.
Met with the guy Jimmy, who was fairly friendly, but the service we received here was pretty bad.We wanted them to hone our engine cylinders and install camshaft bearings, which they estimated would take about three days, but we did not hear back until over a month later. Whenever we called to ask for a status update, they either did not answer, or we dealt with a not-so-friendly lady in the office that had no information for us.I wish I could say that despite the bad service, they still do great work, but I would not know since they did nothing to our engine block for the time it was there. We are just frustrated that they did not do anything that they said they would do, and that they did not communicate with us.
Knowledgeable staff and great service. A shop like this is hard to find these days. I would recommend Motor Mission to a friend and have.
Super quick service and a friendly environment. The front desk was very knowledgable in all the services they offered, no lemme check with my boss answers to any of my Qs. I was told 2 days for the work to be done and ended up picking up my cylinder heads the next day. I passed 3 machine shops to get to Motor Mission and id pass a thousand more to to get quality work done by them again. Well worth it!
I had an engine rebuilt from them and they neglected to do a valve job on the heads! Paid them over 2 thousand dollars and I had to take the heads to another shop to have them do a valve job on the heads!
A higher cost for machine shops in the area, but you get what you pay for.
Motor mission! thank you! so much! # 1 A+I have been in the car bis for a very long time! and ive seen some jankey stuff and never trusted anyone!! now you have changed that thought!. your shop is now and has been some of the best work I have ever seen, from the number of items I have brought into your shop, all have been flawless! you guys and gals are honest, good hard working people! wish more people where like u. so thank u!
Let me start of by saying this, I came to this specific shop because people praise them on their work and their customer service. However in my experience their customer service is the worst. The woman that helped me at the counter was extremely rude, chewing your gum and smacking your lips while talking to a customer is in my opinion just rude she has no idea how customer operates, wasent profecional at all. She basically threw the original guy that helped me when I dropped off my radiator under the bus saying hes new and doesnt know what hes talking about. After dropping off my radiator on Friday I was told I would receive a call with an estimate this did not happen I then waited till Monday still didnt receive a call for an estimate so I called at 11 the woman on the phone said that she would take a look at it get me an estimate and call me back that never happened I drove down to their shop and showed up at almost 4:30 and the woman told me that she doesnt make her phone calls until the afternoon it was 430. This place is wack do not recommend wanted 175.00 to weld on a new output and close the original. Thank you.
The Guy and Gals are great and honest people. Great family owned business.
Very nice people!!! They will help you out in any wan needed.
The customer service at this place is alfull Brought aluminum radiator in lady said the price is 50 more than initial quote then said she didnt even think she do it plus had major aditude.I will never use these place again ever🤔
The Motor Mission crew built great radiator for my big block Chevelle
They are jerks and should not deal with the public.
