My timing chain on my SBC engine failed and bent several valves. So I began looking for an honest and good quality machine shop.I say this because about 12 years ago I went to UM to have my SBC motor built; I supply them with all the internal motor parts. After having the work done; I paid them got my motor and went on my way.The motor was installed and it lasted for about a week and a half. Before the engine came completely apart. I went back to UMand told them what had happened. While talking to one of the employees, I look past his shoulder and there were my parts on their. shelf.With all my high end parts for sale.I asked him about my parts and I got nowhere. Needless to say I went to the newsComplaint hotline. I got my money and my parts back.So Im very cautious and particular about who I do business with now.I called a lot of machine shops for about a month. And a lot of recommendations from my friends.After a process of elimination, I ended up going to c&c automotive.I talked to Nick; I told him what work I wanted done with my heads. He give me a estimated price and a time when the work would be done over the phones. I told him that sounded good and Ill drop off my SBC heads.When I got there told Nick about the experience I had with UM. He listened to me and understood my concern. I asked him for a receipt before I left for the work being done and my parts. And he told me no problem, at that moment I knew I was dealing with someone honest.The work I had done was oversize valves put in a SBC head. Nick even ask me for mycam specs so he could set up the heads correctly.I called on the progress several weeks later and Nick said to come and get the heads ahead of schedule; machined and fully assembled.The price was most excellent and the work superb.Thank You Nick you have restored the confidence in a now, new and loyal customer to your shop: C&C Automotive 5 StarsThis review is from an actual customer of C&C Automotive 👍

Great mechanic

My name is Chandelea I recommend anybody and everybody here not only are they truly nice but they truly care Im a single mom of 3 and dont know anything about cars I started having problems with it and right away they were recommended they took me right away and they are very helpful and not only that they dont try to stick you with a big amount and theyre just great individuals I came back on another issue January 15th and again I had issues this morning on the way to work Nick was awesome taking me right away and be able to help me I was so nervous and scared because money is kind of tight he truly help me in every way possible I owe it to them for a lot and I truly recommend anybody bringing their vehicles to them they truly have a lifetime customer❤❤

HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY A/C, IT WOULD MOT BLOW COLD AIR. ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF A FRIEND WE TOOK IT TO NICK, WHO PROMPTLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, GAVE US AN ESTIMATE AND THEN PROCEEDED TO FIX THE PROBLEM ALL IN ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF. CONSIDERING THE HEAT YOU CANNOT BE WITHOUT A/C ESPECIALLY TRAVELLING WITH TWO DOGS, THANKS NICK YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE AND I JUST RECOMMENDED YOU TO A FRIEND.
