Lyft rider offered to swing by. Prices were exorbitant. Driver came in with me. High suspicion of kick-backs to bring unsuspecting customers. However, well stocked and friendly service so 2/5 stars
Your ride share driver will “offer to help you out for free” by stopping at this liquor store on the way to the strip from the airport so you can get alcohol at a discount and not pay the exorbitant prices on the strip. Your driver will also say “hey, I need to run in too to grab a water”., convenient right? What you won’t know until it’s too late is that this place is insanely expensive, even compared to the strip, and that your driver is getting a kickback from the store for taking you there. I would recommend to stay far away from this place, you can get much better deals at the ABC store or Walgreens right on the strip!!! A fifth of Stoli, pint of Jack, 6-pack of soda and a 6-pack of Truly cost $100 after tax and “credit fees”!!! Unbelievable i fell for this scam
0 star scams.. if youre a tourist dont let the uber driver trick you into coming here.
My cousin and I were visiting from NY. She asked the store clerk a question and was met with what she felt was a lack of hospitality in his response. We left the store in search of another 2 blocks down.Im only giving two stars because of the decent location and nice setup.
Scammers at the top of the food chain. Your booze will be cheaper on the strip!
This place is running a scam and the limo/taxi service is in on it as well as per other reviews. Do not enter this place. I was charged twice and the charges were of different amounts which makes it difficult to dispute with your bank. They know what they’re doing here avoid if possible or pay cash
Staff member was professional and friendly. Not sure how to gauge prices. Almost $30 for Captain Morgan for 1/5.
Extremely expensive. Other than that service was great friendly kind customer service. Just highly over priced.
Do not go here, they rang up a $65 bottle of hennessy that I didnt buy... noticed on the receipt after I got back to my hotel. They wont answer phone calls, emails, facebook messages. They will steal your money.Should have read the reviews before going there... Theres too many similar situations where they rip people off
If u do hit them up!!! Nice dude!!! Thanks for the Vegas hospitality!!!!!! I wont forget about u bro!!!
Clerk was asleep - couldnt wake him to open the door😤 ( hope he was just sleeping...)
Nice store. Go in day time
Great staff blue hair guy!😊👍
I went to Vegas to get married,, I was in an out...they were polite an courteous. They have a great selection of whatever you want,, But kind of pricey for what Im used to cause Im from Jersey...But you got to remember your in Vegas.
Friendly. Everything you need much cheaper than hotel gift shop.
They had a very large selection, which was nice. However, their prices were absolutely insane. If I wasnt pressed for time, I definitely wouldve taken my business elsewhere.
This is a small, overpriced liquor store with convenient hours. Given that its not on the Strip, they charge maybe 50% more than youd expect. Even lots of stores on the Strip are cheaper. They charged me a $1 credit card fee. They had no signs that I could see and did not mention the fee.
STAY AWAY!!! Prices are DOUBLE standard pricing. Read the other 1-Star reviews!! Bought a bottle of wine and later when I looked up the same wine and year online, it was half the price of this place. Because they are close to the Strip, where they now charge as much for a glass of wine as what the entire bottle costs in a normal liquor store, this place feels they can fleece customers with their exorbitant pricing. Disgraceful!!!! If you travel just a mile or so further from the Strip, where the locals shop, you will find fair pricing. If I could give ZERO starts I would.
Booze. Cant really go wrong.
Prices on the higher side .Open 24hrs and lots of choices.
Very convenient & great customer service! Big selection for a small shop. Prices are good comparing to anywhere else around. Dont know why people complain about them. Its Vegas everything is pricey in this city.
Good selection but prices were high
I asked if they sell good beer by the case? Clerk laughs, what is good beer? I explain, anything not Bud, Miller Lite or Coors, he responds oh, like IPAs, no those are only by the 6-pack, $19.99 per 6-pack + tax and service fee if you pay by credit card. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!
Fully stocked...
Great selection and variety but very overpriced. But is in a convenient location.
I always stop at this store when Im in town before getting to my hotel. Theyre consistent on their liquor. Quality service.
They charge me an extra hundred dollars for a bottle of 1942 I would not recommend you go to this place cab drivers are making a cut on dropping people off there
Who in the world would charge $43.29 for a 30 pack of Coors Light Beer. Well guess what they did. I would advise you to steer clear of this store, because they are highway robbers. Will never go there again. Went to Smiths grocery on Decatur St. and got the same thing on sale for $20.99. Of course this price did not include tax. I did save $6.50 since the 30 pack Coors Light was on sale. I would have given this Five Star Liquor a 0 star, but unfortunately that was not an option..
Yes prices are high but it is accessible and caters to tourists. The whiskey selection is amazing and best Ive seen around. If it was more reasonably priced Id have no trouble dropping dollars on the fine selections.
Open early good prices
Good prices
Quick stop for some wine
Way over priced, the guy who works there is rude, he said hi? But never say him? 2 feet tall. You are better off getting alcohol at the airport, cheaper better service
Scam by rideshare/taxi/limo and store. Paid 40% more here then on the strip, store owners assured us the strip would be more expensive. Here is our experience, trend also identified:We asked to stop at a low cost liquor store on the way to the Cosmopolitan, the driver took us to a liquor store that was even more expensive then any of the stores on the strip. We were extremely suspicious and wondered if he had/has a business connection with the store owner at the Five Star Liquor store.
Good selection. Cant speak to price because this was the closest. But really nice people
Overpriced liquor, beers not quite as bad. No kidding, $30 for Jack Daniels or Captain Morgan. Minimum price here is 1.5x what youd find elsewhere.$4 for a 2L of coke.Go someplace else. Anyplace else.
Reasonable prices and good selection.
If I could reat 0 I will do so
Very high price!Horrible customer serviceThey always change the price it’s depends what mood they are!Do not go there save your money next to it there’s a better liquor store
Great customer service good verity of liquor ill definitely go back there again
Awesome place for drivers to visit great for the people coming in town the work is here or compassionate understanding it really guarded the way to see what they could do to help you true Vegas experience God bless the workers at this establishment
This has to be one of the most expensive liquor store, They charged 33$ for a 12 pack of pacifico and small red bull? $25 dollers for 12 ? RAPIST STYLE GUYS... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!
Maybe youre just looking to over pay for your liquor or your beer... but what you may not know is this liquor store has history you see back in the 90s this liquor store was the last liquor store that Tupac Shakur ever visited before he was gunned down tragically in an unsolved murder its still puzzles detectives to this very day, maybe thats why they overcharge for their booze maybe thats why they miss label their beer and charge you twice as much when you go to the register, even though youre a resident right next door and they guarantee a 10% discount except for when it comes to doubling up the charge and suddenly when youre buying beer I dont know Im not the one to ask these questions all that I know is Tupac is taxing from Beyond the Grave. I wish I could dump one out for Tupac but unfortunately Five Star Liquor church is far too much Im a baller on a budget. Much love pac🙏❤️😍
5 Starss liquor? My butt... This has to be one of the most expensive liquor store, They charged 33$ for a 12 pack of pacifico and small red bull? $25 dollers for 12 ? RAPIST STYLE GUYS... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!Manager/owner needs to send me the reciept this is horrible
I got two 6-packs of white claw and an 8-pack of la croix for 41$. That’s at least 15$ too much. It’s odd bc the white claws rang up as the correct price (8.99), I don’t know what the la croix was. I messed up and said I didn’t need a receipt. I just wanted to get my alcohol and get gone. Then in the parking lot another ride-share driver called over to my lyft driver and said he had to go inside and pay 15$ for taking me there, so he went inside and apparently paid the owner. This place is weird. Stay away if you can or at least be very careful. I was foolish and didn’t look at the reviews before coming bc I wanted to avoid getting too many overpriced drinks on the strip. I ended up getting overpriced seltzer off the strip.
They have it all! You wont be disappointed.
Seriously, this place is highway robbery. We had the cashier recalculate the bill because we couldnt believe it. Price went UP when he re-entered it, and we couldnt argue because there arent prices listed on shelves. For perspective, a 375 ml bottle of Titos was $19.99. Thats a 30% markup and probably not the worst example. Avoid at all costs!
This liquor store is a HUSTLE JOB between the ride share drivers and the store! My very friendly Uber driver suggested we stop at Five Star on the way to the hotel to purchase less expensive bottled water and beer than they sell on the strip. Felt genuine and thoughtful at the time. When we pulled into the parking lot it was full of Ubers, Lyfts and taxis. My driver then said hed come inside with me to help me carry the case of water, but really because he needed the cashier, who he knew by name, to make sure he got credit for my ridiculous purchase. $35 for a case of water and 12 Mich Ultras 🤦🏻♀️ Lesson learned...please learn from mine! And guess what else...no tip for that Uber driver!
This place is a tourist trap and is extensively overpriced. Better off to pay extra to the Uber driver and maybe tip them really good to make sure he takes you to the best place for the cheapest price
Nice selection 👍
MOST EXPENSIVE PLACE IN VEGAS!! Your taxi driver will take you here because they get a kick-back from the store. But be warned, you will pay almost double for alcohol. If you are stocking up for a weekend trip, DO NOT visit this place (or listen to your taxi driver). Youre better off to go to Whole Foods, Albertsons, Walmart. You may pay extra in cab fees, but trust me, youll save in the long run.
More like 1 star liquor
Lots of beer wine sweet salty snacks 24 / 7
Open 24 hours and very helpful staff..surrounding areas are desserted ..so best to Uber rather than get jumped by drunks
Charged 13.99 each for 2 coronas ! Mis charges all over our $130 bill. Cant get through to anyone at the store... biggest scam!
They are the closest liquor store to the mid strip..yes the prices arent like ur in Henderson
Me and some of my friends we went to vegas for a weekend during october we had a blast and bought some liquor from this place
Very overpriced
Went here while on my trip to Vegas, friendly service & they had my favorite rum Zecapa!!
Across the street from the hotel Tuscany good location but$$$$$$$
Overpriced. They charge u for bag without asking. They charge $1 credit card fee.
Great service and huge selection
Rip off! This place is literally 2X more expensive than Total Wine, which is only a few miles down the road! It should be illegal to rip people off this much. A $200 bottle of tequila in this store was only $100 at Total Wine. BUYER BEWARE!!!
I tried calling twice to dispute being overcharged and the manager refuses to discuss this with me and keeps hanging up. I was charged over $90.00 (had to have included a previous customers charges) for a bottle of Jameson, 12 pk Coors Light, liter of Ginger Ale & a case of water. The manager refuses to talk to me and is very rude. We were told on our way out of Las Vegas that numerous taxi drivers, limo services, etc. will go to this liquor store because they get a kick back. Do NOT waste your money here, if you are staying downtown, there is a CVS right on Freemont Street that sells liquor, coolers, water & anything else you need for reasonable prices. Out on the strip there are several liquor stores that dont overcharge or try to cheat you.
Cheap liquor, well organized place.
The staff was pleasant but this place was ridiculously expensive!
Limo and Taxi Welcome probably because they get a cut of the business, I would recommend to have limo driver take you to CVS rather than this store, 18 pack of Corona is $6 less at CVS, prices for 18 packs arent displayed either at this store, so maybe they just make up a price as you check out. One Star Liquor in my opinion.
Honestly Should be considered fradulent $14 for a 6 pack of blue moon thats insane
Don’t go to these place. Over priced beer and liquor and the bad thing is that Lyft took me here and I did not get a receipt. This is ridiculous I got charged $35.00 for a 12 pack beer of Coronas.
This place has everything you can think of, but one thing the products are 50% to 70% marked up. Also on top of the outrages prices they charge a $1 credit card fee.
More then 40% higher then the strip. Dont listen to your driver
Good service and selection
Clerk was on the phone entire time we were there. Seemed very pricey also.
Dont come here the pay to drivers to take you and buy over price liquor!!!! $35.00 to $40.00 Per drop and its coming from your pocket!!!!And all the employes with attitude...
Really small and ultra high prices .Horrible customer service . They should change their name to 1 Star Liquor
This store over charged my card by $100. When confronted, the clerk admitted that the total charged was wrong but refused to refund my money. Avoid this store, they are shady and intentionally over charge customers.
This place is a scam! The taxi company is compensated for stopping here to get you to buy DOUBLE what everyone else charges!
Very expensive beer and other beverages. paid double the price for everything in their shop. I thought Vegas supposed to be cheap for alcohol but in here everything is expensive. If want alcohol with regular price go to nearby town gas station. it’s 25 miles from here but u will save a lot.
THEY PAID MY TAXI FOR BRINGING ME THERE. THEY CHARGE TWICE AS MUCH AS ANYWHERE ELSE. I GUESS BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO PAY THE DRIVER.
Great staff
Its a scam uber and can drivers drop off here. Almost double the price of anywhere in Vegas. Might as well drink at a bar. What a bunch of scammers.
Open late!
In an out
Refused to provide receipt, called and no one will return my calls.
What a scam. These people are complete turds.
One of the most expensive places in Vegas. Do not go here. $99 for a case of Bud Light and a fifth of fireball.
Small with limited selection. Very expensive.
Prices are insane because its by the airport. $35 for boxed wine, charge you for using a card and a bag fee. Never again.
No prices listed - $34 for a 4-pack of Founders. Complete and utter grifters.
Scam- taxi driver walked in behind me and got paid off!!!! $23.00 12 pack beer
Extremely over priced and limited selection.
Everything is so expensivePoor customer service
Great helpful staff.
Great location by the linq
Their ok
Extremely expensive ..
Ok place

Prices way too high
