The Mob Museum has s much history. The part that is really unsettling is that it was not that long ago and there are still crazy things that go on. I was also shocked by the children toys.

Honestly, The Mob Museum is THE best place to go to for a day! Some other Yelpers suggest staying here for at least 3 hours, but I highly recommend planning to stay for half a day or even almost a full entire day for those of you who are avid readers. Also, start early in the morning in order to have enough time to go through everything!I read almost 90-95% of the content on the walls and watched the videos, so I spent nearly a whole day here. Parking is $7, and I was lucky that I was able to get a student ticket online as I am a graduate student. This is definitely not appropriate for children, but probably for older teens and up.There are three levels of exhibits, and I spent about 2 hours per floor. They advise starting on the third floor with the birth of the mob, then progressing downwards to the rise of the mob, and then to the downfall of the mob. There is also a lot of history of the establishment of Las Vegas and the Flamingo hotel.I was just absolutely fascinated with the history and the biographies of all the big hitters: Lucky Luciano, Bugsy Siegel, the five families, Virginia Hill, Henry Hill, Donnie Brasco, etc.There are so many interesting artifacts that belonged to the old mob, and there is even the actual wall where the St. Valentines Day Massacre occurred with the actual bullet holes!The gift shop is full of interesting and unique souvenir goodies, and the speakeasy downstairs also has more interesting propaganda on the walls that reflected the history of Prohibition. You should plan on purchasing some goodies as the money goes to the preservation of the museum.I would definitely come back to reinforce what I learned this time around! Absolutely love it!

4 hours was not long enough. Its truely a full day. Fantastic information for a mob buff.

Gift store is ok but the museum is awesome. Best place to visit in Vegas

A must see when in Las Vegas. Get the premium package, it was worth it. Buy online so you dont have to wait in line.
