I always deal with Gene locally, and when I make orders to be shipped I have dealt with Ivory. All I can say is that I do business with Gigaparts because of Gene and Ivory. Products can be ordered anywhere these days. But the kindness, attentiveness and the attention to detail and follow up that Gene and Ivory give is hard to find. They are aces in my book.

I am new to the hobby and am in the market for a HF rig. Have a couple of options based on my budget and was excited to be able to go into the store and be able to listen to both radios and ask questions. The store has a minimal show room and multiple radios are on display, however they are not functional as they do not have antennas that allow them to function. It was like going to a car dealership and being unable to take a test drive because they dont have tires. Salesman was friendly and helpful. Store was clean. This is why mail order is booming!

GigaParts has a well organized retail space with a healthy variety of Amateur Radio equipment. The store is very clean, warm and welcoming. The staff was polite, welcoming, and most importantly helpful presenting valuable advice without cost and without pushing any unnecessary purchases.This is a store where you can get service and experiences that you’d never find on amazon.

Friendly staff. Slim product displays, small showroom.I wanted to visit this store to see some products, but unfortunately they had very little on display. However, what they did have on display was working and you can play with it. Did I mention the staff is very friendly.

I was a brand new customer and made my first purchase. I was sent the product I ordered quickly and efficiently. However, the item I ordered immediately had a problem which required a return the manufacture. GigaParts outright refused to assist me and attempted to up-sell me to their platinum warranty I never wanted. After about a week of back and forth pleading with them to work with me after sending me a defective product, they stated nothing could be done and Id have to pay for return shipping. So, all the money you think youd save is actually going to break even when you have to send it back to the manufacture.Im sure theyve done thousands of positive transactions but I was just completely floored when they were given a whiff of a clearly defective product. Unfortunately, it will be the last time I ever purchase from this company again.

I was told about this store and how good it is. Passed it on the road once, small sign on the billboard. Went inside andbit looked good but very small. Had products up and running which was nice. I was asked if I needed help but I declined because I just wanted a single antenna for my hand radio. I didnt see it anywhere so I ordered it online.Pro: staff was friendly. Wasnt packed with people like me so I had plenty of space to look and pick up items.Con: not a huge selection of stuff instore. I should have asked for help to find stuff but Im too proud.Ill be back once I set up my radios in my vehicles. Hopefully Ill be brave enough to ask for help.

Haven’t been to the store but ordered a new radio on 5/23/18 and received it in Tucson in excellent condition on 5/25/18. Two day shipping for free! Can’t beat that with a stick!

Price Guarantee is misleading.Dont get me wrong the staff, shipping and products are all great.Now follow my guidelines and you could save yourself some money.The price guarantee will cover up to $200 in any year, with a claim per transaction up to $100. This is why you should order separately.I purchased two radios and lots of other pieces in one transaction, there was a price drop on both my radios in the 30 day period. I put my claim in. $100 for one radio is being credited to my paypal account and I appreciate that, but my other radio had a price drop of $70 and I did not get that as it was on the same transaction. So you see, had I purchased my products separately which would have cost a lot more in shipping for Gigaparts I would have been another $70 better off today.So all you prospective purchasers once you are ready to order multiple items and reach the free shipping level of $99 stop and process your transaction, then carry on with a new order and do the same again, admittedly you will be receiving multiple shipments and costing Gigaparts a lot more in packaging and shipping charges but you will personally not be out of pocket if multiple items on your order have a price drop within your 30 day purchase time.An update on my experience, as I stated above the staff are great and this is certainly true, they have gone above and beyond my expectations to resolve this little problem. I am now a very happy customer and have no hesitation in recommending and doing all my Ham shopping at Gigaparts.

I ordered a Kenwood TH D-74A along with a couple of other items and choose the $5.00 On Trac shipping. I was told that I would receive my order on Monday since it was 1 business day shipping. They processed my order so quickly that I had my ordered delivered to my front door Saturday late morning. Thank you GigaParts for such fast service.

This place is one of the big three places in the US to buy amateur radio equipment. When I visited the staff were friendly and helpful, but there is almost no stock on display. It is mostly a warehouse to service Web orders and not really worth visiting unless you know what you want and want to avoid shipping charges. A good place to buy, though.
