Great selection of unique styles at a great price! Friendly staff and perfect location on Main Street in the Arts District. I always make it into a trip with a stop at nearby businesses when I go.

Dont waste your time. They wont buy anything you have to offer so, it must be a gimmick to get you in to shop. Brought nearly 50 items to sell all in great to new condition. Some of my items were brand new with tag. Brought on trend styles and a lot of classic pieces. Jeans, colored denim, blouses, name brand dresses / skirts. Not one item did they want to buy from me and then they encouraged me to shop in store. No thanks, not interested, especially because half the stuff in there looks heavily used and frankly was quite hideous. Unless you need a halloween costume, go elsewhere.

Been coming to Buffalo exchange for years! Came in again today looking for an outfit to wear to a disco party and found just the perfect thing. They have clothes for every occasion- whether for the every day or a specific party you can always find something good. The fitting room staff were so friendly & helpful.

The computer system was down when I arrived for my selling appointment. Although the wait was longer then I would have liked, the customer service and ownership the staff displayed was incredible. The manager and staff were personable, friendly and made sure I was taken care of as soon as possible. Overall I had a great experience and will be back in the future.

Go to Goodwill for thrift shopping the prices for the clothes is not worth what they have them marked as. Saw this store in a magazine and thought i would check it out. Curiosity satisfied. Will not visit this store again and I was excited to visit it. 😒

Yesterday was my first time going and I must say I’m in love. They have a bunch of options and the customer service is immaculate. It is a little on the pricey side especially for new items but everything is great quality and if you search you can find great deals😀.

Lots of cool clothing for the whole family. Shirts, shorts, jeans, jewelry, coats, shoes, belts, sunglasses, jerseys, PJs and athletic attire. Basically everything except formal wear and lingerie. They are picky about what they purchase so dont get your hopes up too much if trying to skip the goodwill dropoff. Definitely worth a look if youre on Main Street.

Usually I love this store any have found some great outfits here. It is more pricy but to me was worth it for the brands I could find. DO NOT BUY THE NEW WITH TAGS CLOTHING. I was dissatisfied with 3 items that were brand new with tags. My boyfriend and I both did a little shopping spree spending about $150 each. The used clothing is great. I love everything I got that was gently used.Although, I bought a shirt from the brand LELIS and later discovered one sleeve was over an inch shorter than the other. After one wash (no dryer) the whole shirt is weirdly uneven. It was still $18, and they had others just like it. I bought a new pair of jeans $34 from the Denim Forum. After the first wear, I noticed they started splitting. My boyfriend had the exact same issue with his jeans that were NWT. I’m not sure if they are buying new defective clothing or what but don’t trust the clothes that are “NEW.”

I use to love selling my clothes here cause I would leave with some cash or store credit. They also use to sell more hipster funky styled clothing and that has changed. Now they try to sell clothes with brand names like “all saints” which is fine, but I would rather buy the item brand new than used with the prices they’re selling them for. I could easily get brand new clothes for the same prices they’re selling their items. It has gone downhill. Maybe from their new buyers/employees.

Honestly to me customer service is all, the staff in there is horrible they treat you as if you owe them something. Bad and poor attitude cashiers and floor ppl try to boss you around and treat you as a kid telling you what to do and scream at you . definitely not a nice experience

They are a rip off when it comes to selling them clothes. I took a $600 leather jacket to them and they gave me $12.50 or $25 store credit. I dont recamend them to anyone. They dont deserve a star at all.

Great selection of clothes. They run about 2-3x the price of a Goodwill store though. I have always been able to find an item or two that I like.

Beautiful store great selections and new items each week. I have sold some items there they do care about the selection you have and offer the option for store credit or cash but the percentages range. Found and couple of nice items there I liked.

Location is bad bad, difficult to find parking and if you found one, you have to pay for it. So be prepared.Also, I did not find the stuff there worth the money or the trip! I will go the swapmeet next time instead.

Buffalo exchange is a magical place full of wonder & new ideas! If you love to get what you pay for this is the place, although make sure that if your a thrift shopper you bring some cloths to exchange as well. LOVE & PEACE 🙏

I dont think these guys care anymore. The manager is nice but the employees are a revolving door of twenty-somethings that couldnt care if you paid them. Its downright depressing because I used to thoroughly enjoy coming here. Try hiring some employees who actually give a damn and you will seem like a place people would suggest to each other rather than a skit from Portlandia.

I was totally offended by store personal as I brought in new designer clothes and they basically in so many words told me I had no fashion sense...well as a model I sure as hell no fashion and honestly if you think dressing like a homeless or unkempt person in Las Vegas is fashion your sadly.mistaken...I have seen better clothes at Goodwill...Customer service is everything and maybe you should keep your opinions to yourself....Vegas has many people in the industry as I have friends I surely will not recommend your store

If I could put zero stars, I would. The business is using Covid as an excuse to rip sellers off. Upon dropping off your items for sale, you have to sign that you agree to accept their price (determined at a later date, without you) NO MATTER WHAT. I questioned the validity of that, and was told, we would never do anything unscrupulous, we are a reputable business. Once they take the clothes for price determination (which you leave with them overnight), you MUST accept their price for the items they choose to keep. No saying no thanks and taking the items back. They gave me $12 for 3 items, one of which is a full length black cocktail dress which originally cost $500. There is NO WAY $12 is 30% of their ultimate retail price. THIEVES!

I wasted gas to go to buffalo exchange .I let them see 4 bags of my clothing but they didn’t accept it because they think it’s to outdated. But the 4 bags of clothing is lightly used and decent . I would never want to come back.

If you want to sell your clothes don’t bother. Due to COVID I had to wait two weeks to get a appointment. After driving for 30 mins to get to the store I get there for the employee to look at my clothes for a minute and denied them. I had heels, purses, and clean clothing that were worn once. She told me they weren’t in season lol the dirt under my sneakers looked better than some of the stuff that they even had on the shelf. Their merchandise was definitely out of date and damaged to a point where I would not spend $5 on a piece of clothing from that store. I walked out annoyed called the store to speak to an employee and they didn’t seem to care. Save your clothes especially if they were brand named clothing like mine. I only shopped at this store maybe twice but from now on I won’t go there just because of the experience and it looks to me that they rather make money off of dingy clothing than nice clothing.

Love shopping here. There’s always a large selection of unique pieces. Pretty decently priced. Selling is okay here. You get about as much as any other consignment store. They only take items that are currently in style which is understandable.

Staff offered to hold the clothes I was going to buy and then returned them to the rack. One staff was very apologetic but the other acted like it was somehow my fault.The store selection itself was nice. Better clothes and prices than other second hand clothing stores. Not sure if I’ll ever come back though.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon to sell some clothing of mine and my boyfriends. We were helped right away and all staff members were very friendly and non-judgmental. They only ended up buying one shirt of mine (my items were too trendy or current and not really the retro or vintage look that I know they go for. So, I wasnt surprised when my items werent picked.) They did however, take plenty of my boyfriends items. Most of which, were articles he has had for years but far too funky for my taste so I had pulled from his closet to sell. Shopped around a little while they went through the items and found a couple rather cute items but I needed the cash so decided to keep that instead. Overall it was a win-win situation for me, my boyfriend and buffalo exchange! Will definitely return here in the future to sell items. My experience was definitely a relief because I had read the reviews prior and was worrisome that I was wasting my time.Edit: took away 1 star because I have gone there 3x since my original review. This time, attempting to sell only items I see on their website or in their catalogs and stores and they didnt buy one thing. So needless to say I am quite disappointed and deterred.

All in all a great experience. All of the employees were very nice. Went in with a vague hope of finding a new wallet, which I found, along with 2 additional items I hadnt even thought about. Cute selection throughout the whole store.

This place is a joke . I took several ( meaning a car load) of items to sell as well as shoes. And those so called buyers DID NOT PURCHASE ONE ITEM. Now I know they say only TRENDY clothes or clothes you see in the mall. BTW...what does that even mean? I saw some of the clothes they had on their racks and in my opinion they wasnt anything special about those items that would make me think they would buy any of mine. And I have no clue why anyone would refer to this place as VINTAGE . Do they even know what the word Vintage means? . Horrible horrible experience. Like I said in the beginning THIS PLACE IS A JOKE....

Dont sell your items here. I brought in a Kenneth Cole jacket, a baby blue motorcycle jacket, and a navy blue short leather jacket. I was given only 19.35. I wast told that the jackets would be sold from 22.00 to 18.00. I came in a few days later and the prices were sky high. These people lie to you. They just want your nice items to make a huge profit. In the near future Im planning to just donate to Shade Tree. The only reason I went there is because I promised my granddaughter that any money collected would go to her fundraiser at school. As far as the African American Manager shes horrible. When pricing the items she consulted with a staff member. I thought she was in charge. I enjoy the San Francisco store. This one is the worst!

Great thrift shop in a cool growing art district. You can tell they curate great clothing choices that are unique, and in style. They dont just buy everything they can get cheap. Plan on spending some time here!

I travel an buy vintage clothes a lot. An when I walked into this store it’s was big! I was excited to look an browse. Now they have a great selection (not organized) an catchy things but it’s way over priced. I brought in 3 bags of clothes an out of all of them they took a banana republic shirt I bought for $60 offered me $6 cash or $10 trade. She then explained total would go up after she looked some more. All my bags have been examined ;) an one shirt was taken, Ive never been so disappointed. I then went to ask them aren’t u a thrift store, I was told yes we take handy downs then said BUT we only take stylish clothes that are trending ;(Thrift clothes are handy downs that are vintage.THIS IS A WANT A BE FOREVER 21....

Nothing that you brought in today would be of interest to us. We came in with a bag full of designer clothes that no longer fit us. While we were waiting for the manager to look over all our goods, there was another person at the desk right next to us who was getting his clothes evaluated. The employee that was helping him kept asking the manager for approval of the clothes, as if shes a judge on project runway or something. Then when I asked why brands like Michael Kors and Levis arent good enough, she said that they dont go by brand name. Mind you, a second before she said that she told the employee on the other desk to put a price tag of 35 dollars on a Gucci bootleg!!!!!!!!!!Stupid and absolutely random. The store smells bad too.Dont waste your time, just donate your clothes to goodwill that way you at least know some appreciation will come out of it instead of being talked down by a bunch of wannabe hipsters.

Caitlin was phenomenal. Very customer oriented. My first impression of the stores employees was not as I expected when trying to sell items for cash or trade. Instead of low balling me on the amount theyd buy for, They worked with me to come up with a price I was comfortable selling my clothes for. I would recommend Buffalo Exhange to anyone looking to sell their items for cash.

Good place to shop for second clothing

I have been to the Buffalo Exchange on a few occasions. To both shop and sell. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and Ive read the bad reviews of what customers feel about the money they receive in exchange for said items. Reviewers should understand Buffalo Exchange is a brick and mortar business. Which means they have overhead. And is why they are not going to give you the maximum dollar amount you could receive if you sold it yourself. Thats why online businesses such as Ebay and Offer Up give us the opportunity as online entrepreneurs to do the same but on a global level. Where I do agree with reviewers is the lack of brand and product knowledge regarding the value of what they do buy and sell. The system of employees rifling through items with no use of technology to me is archaic. How do they actually know what people are looking for? What is trending, selling for online, etc? Now a days people from all walks of life really enjoy if not love thrift shopping. Consumers are smart, most understand brands and the value of that brand. Thats part of the allure of finding that clothing gem that Good Will or a store like the Buffalo Exchange missed because of that lack of brand knowledge. Some are looking at your items, purchasing them and flipping them online. It seems to me that the company line employees give of were looking for vintage or were looking for items that sell quickly in our store is confusing since again the staff uses the eyeball test without technology to determine what that means to the Buffalo Exchange and that there is both vintage and trendy clothing with no rhyme or reason selling throughout the store.

I was told that they purchase leather. Um no they dont! I bought in a top of the line soft leather dress and soft leather jacket that were worn once!These yuppsters wouldnt know fashion and/or style if it smacked them in their faces. Thrift stores and Goodwill are a huge step up from this dive. The homeless and street people that hang around Main Street dress better than the employees claiming to have a keen sense of fashion!!!!I was forced to give one star to get my review in!

I brought in 10 pair of True Religion jeans (all good condition) and 1 of the black staffers starts saying well you know True Religion is going out of business and no one will purchase my jeans because theyre not slim enough.... She was very condescending and rude as she spoke to me. As I recall there are 3 True Religion locations in Vegas. Not to mention the True Religion belt they attempted to buy from me was a low ball offer.... PSA: You heard it here 1st.. do not waste your time going to this place!!!! Interesting stuff at okay prices. This was the last day at what will soon be their old location and I bought a few things after a long walk out from the strip. The -1 ☆ is for having to walk all the way back without a bag. The bag thing is for a good cause, but I felt a little low rent on that walk. Cool shirts though.

They wouldnt take my Forever 21 backless lace dress 😣 only worn 1 time & still in perfect condition. I thought they would have at least given me $10 for it. Other than that its a pretty good store alot of old school styles that are back in for the young crowd.

If you’re looking to consign, it’s a waste of time. They don’t accept anything except stuff that’s “trending” or “hipster” I guess. They took NOTHING from my large load of clothes that were in great to decent conditions. Disappointed

Well like the other reviews say they wont buy a single thing or you will get priced very low, no matter if your items are new and up to date or even an expensive popular brand ..not sure whats going on with this buffalo exchange because Im from Seattle and its a completely different experience at the store out there verses Las Vegas overall they have some great things to buy but do not waste your time trying to sell here until they get a whole new staff, sucks because Im sure theyve missed out on so many great items. Please hire new staff or change your program buffalo exchange, such a let down.

For second hand items, this place is largely overpriced! They do usually have a large selection and unique pieces but you can pay the same price on ebay or other websites without the rude staff members.

Will never go here again! No attention to customers. They must do a lot of online business because all they cared about was buying clothes not selling them. Automatically assumed I was there to sell not buy. Felt like I was being judged (Im a long haired, metal dude ya know). Got fed up and left when I was rudely interrupted, in the middle of the store where I was trying to shop, to see if I was waiting to sell something?!? I WAS TRYING TO SHOP! His excuse... You came in with bags... Its a suitcase and Im in Vegas really?? Never seen a tourist before? 🖕

So as others are saying they seem to be confused and have no guideline of what they are buying. This was my first experience with the buffalo exchange and also my last. I brought mostly clothes my teenage daughter no longer wanted or fit into, some still with tags. Sadly I had to go home and inform my teenage daughter that she has no sense of style because some guy wearing a shirt that was stretched, ripped and so old it was practically see through declined to buy any of her clothes I had taken down there. I guess then her entire school and every other teen to mid twenties person out there are all out of style except those who are working at the buffalo exchange that is. You should think about maybe trying to build a customer base and retaining customers instead of banking on someone new coming through the door all the time. Now Im not running my own business and this is just my opinion but maybe you should take one or two items from people occasionally, especially first time sellers. Being rejected my first time in as quickly as I was told me all I needed to know to decide I was never coming back. I have talked to people that have gone in multiple times and had everything turned down each time. To me that shows bad customer service and a complete lack of care towards customers and potential customers. Im staying far away from this place and I recommend others do the same.

Says they want vintage, one of a kind items. Not at all what they promote. Store is filled with the same old stuff. Items they have, can be bought anywhere, anytime. Platos closet has better selection. Will never go back. False advertising. Staff not friendly and real uppity. They have nothing in that store to brag about.

The majority of items at this location are brands that can be found at Ross. Not only that, but they charge almost double what Ross charges. Staff is usually unhelpful and rude. Im sure they dont mean to come across as so rude, but their demeanors tell me that theyre annoyed with my very existence. Will not be returning.

I hate saying this about a place I used to love, but I just dont enjoy it anymore. The vintage items that they have arent fashionable at all. Its a shame because I have some absolute treasures from years ago. Still, if you have some clothes to sell or trade, then you have nothing to loose

It was better on Flamingo & Maryland Pkwy. The prices skyrocketed once they opened the new location. I also find the selection to be less diverse. I applaud that they moved to the revitalization area of Las Vegas and I do like the décor but the magic seems to be gone. I find it more difficult to find good stuff and as a result I visit less often.

Ever since they moved to this new location the management and staff here got worst. Was here couple days ago and their customer service are horrible. Buyers plays favorites with customers that are regulars. Buyers does not know how to spark a conversation and always looking for help for prices. Overpriced used items, you are better off going to goodwill.

They claim to be on trends, however do they know their clientele? We are not in LA or Hollywood. We are vegas locals who are looking for clothes. I bring clothes there all the time, and they never take them. This makes me feel like I am not good enough. Maybe put a sign up or make a pamphlet on what current trends you are looking for. It would eliminate all the nos.

This is a great place to relax while shopping. The employees are exceptional...they are honest, but kind with their opinions. The shopping is great...especially if you knoe designers. My 22 year old son introduced BE to me and we never miss going when he visits from school.

My absolute favorite in Las Vegas. It is the one shopping environment and interaction with staff that is transcendent. Meaning that you could be in Europe or New York or California; you are having the same vibe and flow @ buffalo exchange in Vegas.

Staff sucks ecept for the black manager, but all other employees have no customer service all of them should be fired and this is coming from a manager who specialize in high-end retail and customer service.I would never spend another dollar at this used high priced, stinky, dirty thrift store.

I had very bad experience and buffalo exchange. We were the only people in there they asked why all of our stuff was brand new and in good condition because we were black! They didnt buy any of our stuff because they said they dont except that type of style when we could clearly see that they did. I would not recommend this store. RACIST!

I went to sell and buy.. they gave me my money from the items I sold to them on a B.E. card and I still had to pay taxes 😒 when I was selling they just took my items to the back and then told me how much they offered (not even asking if I still wanted to sell them for that price). The stuff are way too overpriced and not even that cute. The only cute thing i found was 1 cute kimono, it was for $18 & it was tore from the bottom (luckily I sewed it back together). Wouldnt recommend since the items are used and too overpriced.

This place is lame.I usually shop in second hand and vintage stores but from the second I walked in to this place for the first time I was disgusted. Smells bad, dirty, dusty and there are very limited sizes and styles.The worst thing here is the staff that is totally rude, condescending and not helpful.The pricing is outrageous, Id rather buy new clothes at Ross although I prefer vintage. Its a total scam, dont waste your time and gas coming all the way to this bargain vintage shop or whatever it is they think they are.

Even if you call and tell them what you have they will say yes, but once you get their it is not what “they are looking for.” Communication should have happened with who ever answers the phone and the person actually taking in the stuff. Now I see why they are always hiring imcopitance at its finest.

I have been here twice. First time to sell clothes with my partner. I was not successful in that aspect but this place is down right amazing. I went there for my second time today. I was hoping some cool Nike boots worth like 120 were still there. Mind you tons of label stuff would finds. This BE has nothing good. I went there hoping that I would have the same experience as I did at the Portland locations in oreOre but that was not the case. I drove 30min hoping to have a good binge and it was a total waste of time. Didnt get anything because the clothing they had, was dirty, had stains, deodorant marks, etc. Definitely bumbed out.

I love this thrift store. They have so many chic styles and there great quality.

I brought in a big bin of clothes to sell that were in season, some out of season, and they didnt even look at all the clothes thoroughly before turning me away and not accepting any of the clothes I brought in. Everything was worn once, practically brand new! I will most likely never try to sell here again.

Cost less than ebay, a little more than a yard sale. Overall great prices and staff. A good place to upgrade your wardrobe.

They think they know style or trends when they don’t even know anything about the brands that people bring in they only buy stuff from their knowledge which is elementary at best

They have every brand I shop for on grailed and are always for even better prices. The store is pretty big and well organized imo. The staff are dope and location is fitting. Really no complaints.

I like the store dont get me wrong, but I went to trade in some clothes it was my first time and the girl looked and my clothes they were in good condition and she said that its not what the store was looking for. I dont get it they said they are looking for summer clothes and that is what I took. Im still in shock!!

To really sale clothes there they have to be sim-my new no more than two years old. I came in with five bags some shoes and some clothes and the woman who helped me took nothing because it didnt met her standards. The most of the clothing i brought in they had something similar in the store.

I really enjoyed this lively little shop great gear and cool people. . just wish you could cut deals cause some stuff is higher priced... But if you like retro and oldschool but new school cool vintage definitely a must! Alot of cool shops by this shop on main street also! Will be back and one day i hope to get a deal here finally!
