I ordered cookies as a gift for the staff at the middle school I work at. The tags are something I made, but Whitney created the most adorable hammers and saws to go with our construction theme! They were friendly but I wasnt that impressed w/the quality of the cookies. When I went to pick up the store room door was open to show the cookie/brownie mixes sitting there...I expected from scratch from a specialty bake shop. I like to bake, and do from scratch but got a groupon for this place and thought it would be a nice way to give a variety at work w/out having to bake myself. Glad I didnt pay full price for cookies from a mix and were rather bland at that.

Tasty cookies and treats, something for everybody! Ive been into The Cookie Zoo several times and had nothing but very friendly service and received delicious cookies and brownies every time; Im usually even sent off with a small bag of free sampler cookies for myself! My favorite are the fudge peanut butter and they make an excellent chocolate chip. Ive also witnessed the owner spending clearly a lot of time on decorating different shape cut-out cookies; she enjoys what she does and that shows in the product. Im not sure cranky-pants-0/3-review was actually at the right bakery because Ive arrived at The Cookie Zoo, especially at Christmas time, to see pounds of butter softening, the shelves full of baking ingredients, and bakers busily making dough; cookies made from a bag, what silliness! I am sooo late with this review but this place totally rocks! My sons b-day is 4th of July and I had been calling other bakeries since the week or two prior to do anywhere from 30-60 cookies for his party on the 3rd. EVERYONE turned me down and wouldnt give me so much as an estimate saying that it was not enough of a notice. My mother contacted Cookie Zoo maybe the Monday before the Friday that we needed the cookies and they told my mother not only could they do an order of 30 cookies, but they could also put my sons picture on the cookies if we liked them to. The best part is they did it all for a really, REALLY great price so it was a no brainer!!! I work really close to the bakery so they even offered to deliver the cookies to me for free!!! The cookies were super cute and super delicious!!! Very much a hit with the kids in my sons class. I am so grateful to Cookie Zoo! Very professional employees and they have tasty cookies to boot!!! I will be a customer for life and have already told all my friends to get their kids cookies from there!!! Dont hesitate to use their services!!!!
