See Maggie she will help you rock your new specks!Ive been purchasing my glasses here for several yrs now and Maggie is absolutely a delightful helpful and listens to what her customers want.My husband has also gotten a few pairs from her as well.Yesterday I met my friend that I referred to this location so she could take advantage of the 2 pairs for $99.Advertised special.Her prescription is similar to mine. Progressive prescription no lines.My husband and I use computers, tablet and phones all day everyday, night driving as does most people in todays society.Unfortunately Maggie wasnt working we got stuck w Karen. She was pushing unnecessary upgraded lenses even when we told her we where looking to take advantage of the adv. Special ! She has also done this to us before and refused to push my insurance through because it takes work... instead giving me documents to make my own claims.I have current issue with lens sticking above my frame she told me yesterday that my guess designer frames was the culprit and they were known for having an issue ... Hmmm I own 5 pair of same designer no issues until now.Suggestion if your going in for the deal and want someone who is dedicated to helping you the customer see Maggie!Dont let Karen quote /charge you 1200. For $99. Advertise deal !Suggestion Dont buy upgrades unless you have previously experienced the difference.In my husbands case the $700. Upgrade doesnt work at all they sit in desk drawer while he wears his standard no line progressive ( multi ).I have always got the deals never paid more then $159.00 for 2 complete prs 1 sunglasses, 1 reg. no insurance needed!!This goes for all eye glass stores/ locationKnow their advertisement details dont get ripped off.When complaint was made about my experience of Karens unprofessionalism.She then took that information and shared it with customers.Research lenes types and review of actual benefits REMEMBER in some cases more is NOT better.

My sons glasses are constantly breaking. Why is the quality soooo bad!!!!

I was recently having trouble adjusting to prescription glasses and decided to stop by the optical center here while I did some shopping. I was immediately helped by Karen who took the time to readjust my glasses and explain to me how progressive lenses work. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable and I can honestly say I left feeling confident wearing my glasses without fear of miscalculating distances while walking or driving. Her patience answering all the questions I walked in with showed the passion she has towards helping others. I’ll gladly refer friends and family here knowing they’ll be in good and caring hands. I can’t thank her enough for the peace of mind she’s given me.

Dr Ritter was very professional and cheerful. Karen was well qualified, funny. THEY got the job done to my satisfaction.

You have to pick a star in order to have your review post, but truthfully I would not give this doctor any star for anything. She was extremely rude not only with my but my daughter. The two office guys David and Eric were nice enough, but unfortunately the information I was given over the phone and then in person were different. The doctor was no where to be found when I first arrived and then when she doubted whether or not my insurance would cover what she wanted to do, she talk my daughter to grab all our stuff from the exam room and to get out only to take the next customer behind be while I waited at the front desk for additional information. Do I really have to give it a star?? Truly the WORST WORST WORST WORST exam ever... never went beyond the large letters on the wall projection which was projected at an angle on a closet door, never checked my eyes themselves with a light which has always been part of every other exam ever given. no peripheral check, only checked for distance not up close. when she asked me if that was okay I said no not really.. she said well you just have a lazy eye and called it a day and left me to the barrage of sales people to try and sell me lenses with this god awful prescription I wouldnt trust a dog to use.

Horrible. Was tested very rude in front of other customers with the manager raising his voice. Was not allowed to use groupon. This was my 3rd visit within 2 weeks. My eyes were not adjusting to the trial contacts. All I wanted was my money back. He tried to make almost impossible to get my money back. I went to Perl Vision and saved $359 on my frames and lenses. The manager is very unprofessional and rude.*dont waste you time! I have been Perl vision customer for years and thought I would save some time by shopping at Jcp and getting an eye exam at the same time. This has turned out to be a very unforgettable experience.

I bought the Groupon ($55 toward $290), and the lady made it impossible to use.I have insurance, but for some reason, she wouldnt accept my insurance.(I called the insurance company and told me that JCPenny Optimal is included and directed to this location.)So, I had my eyes examined elsewhere and brought the prescription.She then said that while normally the glasses are discounted, the Groupon is for full price.She wanted to charge me $460 for a pair of glasses because theyre meant to full retail price rather than discounted.I called Groupon and received credit back.I immediately went elsewhere, and bought a different pair.

We did my son eye exam here with a glasses purchase, we came back and just wanted to ask what is the number of my sons eyes prescription because we misplaced the original prescriptions, and the stupid guy who f****ng work there cant even just give it to me to us, he said only the Doctor can give it to us and the Doctor wasnt there and its only 5pm and close at 7pm where the F*****ng went we drove 20miles just to get there, I wont used this jcpenny optical anymore this is the worst experience Ive ever had in my life period

That optic does not deserve not a single star, the ophthalmologist has very little moral, professional and social ethics, when she put me to see the letters on the wall she did not do the work in a professional way, since not to fight, she took away the lenses that I was wearing at that time, and I took them to the receptionists to tell them what they had graduation, and the very unhappy I reseed some glasses with the graduation 10 years ago, part I put drops that dilate the pupil and never I checked the eyes again with dilated pupils, he did not give me the care that those drops imply, like using a dark lens, in a few words he stole me, and I plan to sue for fraud or abuse of trust ... They are shits there.
