If you want to fix your Mac in an environment the exact opposite of the Mac store, this is the place to come. Rude store clerk. Opaque pricing. To replace a hard drive on a ten year old Mac, install an operating system and restore the backup was going to cost at least $500 when a new MacBook Air is only $1000. It sounded like they were going to run their own diagnostic and come up with some more stuff to add on top of that! Im sure by the end we could have bought a whole new computer. Who would ever waste their time here? Not me. If you are under Apple Care, go to the Apple Store. If you have an old device and it breaks, time for a new one. Kind of like a TV, its not worth it to fix it. Blame Apple. Not me.

I have an older Mac Mini that stopped working (hard drive issues). Made the appointment through Apples service website. Steve met me at the appointment time, asked questions about the issues, and walked me through my options.My machine was fixed over the next two days. When I picked it up, I met with Tony who walked me through the restart and restore process through my Time Machine back up. If I ever had to get my phones fixed again, I would still try to fix it here 1st.

These guys are freaking amazing. I have experience building computers, but my girlfriends computer had issues with it that we couldnt quite diagnose.Not wanting to swap out parts at random hoping to figure it out I dropped it off at computer doctor bg to have it looked at. My guess was a bad motherboard or power supply.These champs could have easily replaced both and I would have agreed that was the problem.Long story short, we didnt replace either of those parts because they were able to get the existing parts to work properly again. We did replace the cpu fan because it was definitely jacked up.This will be the only computer repair shop in town I recommend moving forward. Thanks Steven!

I discovered Computer Doctor BG by going to Apples website and making an appointment for iPhone 11 Pro Max camera repair under warranty. Since they are an authorized repair location Apple gave me the option of taking it here. Because the location was great and closer to me than Town Square I figured I would give it a try. When I arrived, well before my reservation time, Bryan was able to assist me right away! They had the part in stock and only took about 2 hours for repair. This location is very convenient compared to apple at Town Square. Parking was easy and store wasn’t jam packed. If you have Any repair work needed to your Apple products, to include AppleCare warranty work, I would highly recommend this place!

Apple set up an appointment for me to bring my MacBook Pro there because I had issues with my screen. They called me the next day saying that I had an accidental damage due to liquid spill and that apple would not cover that. I told them that my computer was never in contact with any liquid. I had the computer in the car and when I opened it my screen looked that it got detached due to heat. They didn’t believe me. I asked them to still contact Apple and check on my warranty. They said they did and if I wanted to fix it they would charge me $550. I took the computer back, called Apple, which didn’t have any information regarding the appointment or the issue. Apple asked me to send my computer to them via mail, I did and 3 days later my screen was changed free of charge because it was not an accidental damage.

Apple employee said MAYBE I could get it looked at in 4 hours, but this was a waiting list. No guarantee of repair timing. The team performed an Apple battery recall for my 2015 MacBook Pro - did the replacement in a day and diagnosed/fixed two related issues at no cost. Now my mac works like new. We were in yesterday and I must tell you, my experience here far surpasses, in the best of ways, my previous experiences at the Apple store. Miguel, our technician was AMAZING. This is a certified Apple Tech Store recommended to me by a Genius Bar rep at Town Center’s Apple Store. We are so happy to have a service store in Henderson! They solved a problem with our iMac Pro and were reasonably priced! Better than sending equipment out for service through Apple for better security!!

So my experience with this location has been less than stellar. My computer had a scragged logic board and everything was run of the mill up until I came to pick up my laptop. I stopped in got my computer and had a small conversation with the counter employee. He explained with basic detail what had been done, I noticed that my computer was running very slow and not starting with the normal start up routine I noted that with the counter person. He explained that sometimes when a logic board is replaced a computer will “run slow” and it in his words may need to warm up to its new state. Hesitantly trusting that the repair was done I took my laptop home. When I got home I found that my computer was extremely slow and would crash and return to the login screen without logging the user out. Now in hindsight I began to think what kind of half baked explanation that was, I’m no expert on modern day hardware but I find it hard to believe that a logic board and its components “needed to warm up” like it’s a carburetor on 70 Dodge. Thus the first mistake in this interaction. I should have checked to see if the computer was repaired but it should have been the responsibility of the techs to test and make sure that the repair was done and the computer operated in the way it should which did not happen. I returned the following day to find out what happened. I patiently waited for about 2 hours while the techs tried to make sense of what was going on. There was very little communication as to what the problem was. When the techs finished I was told that the OS was reinstalled and that the problem should be fixed. My laptop was still running very slow but again I trusted that the problem was fixed. When I got home I found the computer ran slightly better but when I finally got through the initial set up it would crash back to the login screen, apparently the computer was not fixed. Waiting through the weekend I returned for a third time dropping of the laptop. After waiting a few days I was informed that the new logic board was bad and that it needed to be replaced. When I returned to pick up the computer they had a tech go through the initial set up to make sure that the problem was fixed which I appreciated. Two days in and no issues also with an email follow up. Now taking all things into consideration I understand that Computer Doctor is very busy due to the fact that Apple in its infinite wisdom decided to shutter all stores in the valley and I understand that they are only working on laptops at the moment due to the work load but there is no excuse not to make sure that a repair is done properly before the customer is contacted for a pick up. There needs to be more thorough communication between the techs and the customer and that was lacking until the third interaction. In ending Computer Doctor did make it right and did step up to the plate to correct the issue but unfortunately didn’t exhibit customer service for an 800.00 repair until the issue got to critical mass. I do plan on using Computer Doctor BG in the future and I hope that this experience will help them in the future to avoid a negative customer experience.

I needed a new battery for my iPhone 7 Plus and my son needed his screen repaired on his iPhone 7. I called Apple and told them I didn’t want to go to the Apple Store because it’s always super crowded and it messes with my anxiety. Apple gave me the name and number of Computer Doctor BG. I called and spoke with Justin. He was very friendly and helpful over the phone. We went in and were able to get my son’s screen repaired and my battery replaced. Prices seem very reasonable and Justin is very knowledgeable. My son will be needing a new battery soon if he doesn’t get a new phone. We’ll definitely be taking all of our Apple products and PC’s here for repairs. Oh and they are an Authorized Apple Service Provider so the repairs won’t mess with your warranty and the work is top notch! Thank you Justin!!!

This place is wonderful. I brought my husbands laptop in mid-day on Thursday, and he said it could take 24-48 hours to diagnose the problem. He called me about 15 minutes later and said they found the problem! He said it could take a few days for the part to come in, but they would install it that day . . . and the next morning he called and said it was all done! The whole process was less than 24 hours!

I went to the store on a Friday to have my iPhone screen replaced and due to some Apple and Authorized dealer platform connection issue, I couldn’t have it fixed after placing my phone there for 4 hours. Justin explained the situation to me and offered to inform me once the system is up and running, which he did on Sunday and did an hour turnaround to get my iphone screen replaced. Although the process wasn’t smooth, but I thought the service and recovery was great and well handled. Will go back there again.

My Macbook Pros screen failed and started showing some stage light effects. When I went to Computer Doctor, Kevin understood the issue really well and explained to me the specifics of how the screen works and told me about the options I had since my Apple Care had just expired. I made my appointment through Apple Support app. Twenty minutes later, on the exact time of the appointment, I was talking to the Computer Doctor representative. He not only answered my questions about a product I had purchased, but tested my malfunctioning product on another computer to make certain it was in fact not functioning. My laptop issue: it laptop stopped working due to a corrupt SSD. WOW. these guys are amazing. And SO AFFORDABLE. skip the apple store. They had everything diagnosed, new parts ordered and replaced, all in three days. They text, email, call you every step. They tell you it’s 50$ for looking at it, and I was hesitant fearing they would charge me the 500$ apple quoted me, but they told me it would credit the repair if I choose to let them fix it. I did and the price came down to 1/5 of that quote. Going here for any problems in the future.

I needed data recovery on 2 old laptops and a harddrive. They were very helpful, communicative, and kept me updated on the progress. It was maybe a bit more expensive than I was expecting. There isnt exactly a price list hanging in the store and I didnt ask in advance, so maybe thats my fault. But overall a pleasant experience.

My computer was making a weird noise from the fan and I was able to make an appointment for the next morning to take it in.
