Great place, chill vibes, good drinks (coffee and tea), tasty food. Open 24/7 so its a great place to study, chill with a friend or two, or read a book. As long as you dont mind hearing low to moderate voices and music in the background.
The people that work here are super nice yet chill and the coffees great 👍cant ask for more.Monkey mocha is our go to! Blended coffee, peanut butter, chocolate and banana. Amazing every time
I ordered the smoothie blended drink with coconut (this is not the product name). The order took some time to complete. On the positive I met up with someone I know and was able to linger for 90 minutes. Try doing that at the green mermaid coffee place. So overall a great place to go to have a meet up with someone and a long hangout with no sales pressure.
Extraordinarily cool and thrilling area. Very unique design and amusing environment. Patties and breakfast goodies are splendid! The open display counter and espresso bar permit you to see all the magic! They have got homemade almond and cashew mills and an appropriate shaken latte. Exceptionally suggested for anybody exploring local vegas
Love the drive thru service! They served our order quickly! We had Caramel and Mocha that time. The drinks are very satisfying. The staffs are also very accommodating and nice!
The staff is so friendly and great drink and food choices. Ive only had breakfast but would love to try something else next time. Its great that they are open 24 hours and pretty much centrally located
What an interesting spot. I have to say Im not one to order a heap of politics with my latte, but I dont have a problem with folks offering another view. I got the very clear message that all thoughts are welcome to be discussed here. Pretty cool in my book! Also great to know theyre open 24/7.Now, the coffee- I tried out their monkey mocha- WOW! Delicious indulgent treat, but very well balanced between the sweet components and the acids/bitterness of the brew. My partner got a blended mocha and it was yum too.If your looking for a new place to try, give them a shot !
I love the atmosphere Madhouse has and the staff is always kind and forthcoming. The coffee is great and you have so many amazing choices too. Lots of good food options with a choice of meat lover or even Vegan! They have a nice porch area, drive thru, and interior dining area that has you burning time just chilling with friends or space to work on your laptop/device. I definitely suggest people check out this spot and browse the menu!
Very rude manager. I walked in to order a coffee and didn’t have a mask. She would not let me order with out a mask. I told her, “I’m happy to wear a mask if you have one I’ll put it on.”The “manager” said she didn’t have extra masks; then got on a power trip and told me to “go through the drive thru”. I told her, “I don’t have a car”.“Can you please take my order outside?”She continued the power trip and refused to serve me.Finally a courteous gentleman who worked there recognized that the manager had very poor customer relations skills and was power tripping and being rude to me and agreed to take my order outside. Why is the manager so rude and disrespectful to their customers? On a side note; this place has very good food, 5 stars for the food.
Amazing place, Edward and Joseph are great men. I don’t have the best hearing and they made me feel secure with my order, it’s rare to be understood when I go put in public, thanks dudes!!! great burger btw and best coffee!!
Great atmosphere and perfect for students who wants to have a study group while getting a caffeine fix with a caramel macchiato. It’s either that or monkey mocha which are my two favorite drinks. Pets are welcome! We brought in our puppy Tsuki and a couple workers that night came out to meet her. Tsuki had a fun time there as well. Best place to relax, kick back, and spill some tea with your friends. There are also tables outside with some shade to enjoy the fresh air, best to take it all in during the night.Thank you for your service!
The crew seemed really frazzled. I barely received a greeting and the barista seemed distracted while taking my order. The drink was good but not something I would go out for.
I was quite happy with the service. I’m a regular so I know usually sometimes service can be slow but by the time I payed for my americano, the girl gave me the drink. Great night team!
The best coffee joint in all of the Las Vegas area. They ask if you like dark, medium, or light roast for your latte. The service is absolutely perfect and the open view of the park just adds to the relaxing experience. Stop here, just a little out of the way, and grab a sandwich with a coffee before you get on the road, I know for certain that youre not going to find a better place on the way. Coffee lovers are also welcome to geek out on the fact that the coffee is far superior to any of the usual franchise brands out there. Having been born in Rome, Italy I wouldnt feel hard pressed to say that it compares very well however the level of American inspired customization (Red Velvet Mocha, Crushed Coconut Mocha, ...) far surpasses Italys more traditional styles!!! .... nearly forgot that they even serve muffins warm 😄
Its an interesting place (check out the bathroom, its unique). The avacodo toast was really good, Edward was very helpful when i called and asked about the place, as well as when we arrived. Based on my liking he was able to recommended a drink, it turned out to be really good. I was in the mood for something a little but sweater so, he added some honey! And it was perfect. (Drink was an almond latte).
Super cute coffee spot. It has a really nice staff and pretty good coffee. I had the iced chai latte and it was pretty good. Their large size is 30 oz, I ordered a large and was surprised by how big it was. It definitely is a great study spot, however it is quite small so you might have trouble finding a seat if its crowded.
I was an employee, and quit due to the food handling conditions my manager Edward conducted while I worked there. I was hired during my interview and began after my interview. Toward the end of the shift, when cleaning the sandwich station, Edward was showing me the cleaning procedure. And when checking the dates on the sauces used, one of the sauces was 2 days passed the current date, I went to unscrew and empty the container, and Edward said verbatim: “With all of the oils and preservatives it’s still good, just date it 6 days out.” It being my first day/trial period, I went with it because I was desperate for a job. The next day I go in, and some point through the shift an entire sleeve of about 30-50 cups falls and we begin picking them up, Edward then quietly ordered me to rinse them off and let them dry. While finding the cups, you could see hairs, crumbs, dirt, and water from the floor on the cups. I didn’t feel comfortable having the shop reuse those, but I didn’t want to get fired or yelled at. So majority I threw out, the ones with hairs and visible dirt. The others that looked clear I left drying on the rack. The final straw was a few days later, while working my shift a customer asked for a chicken sandwich. We ran out of thawed chicken, so I went to the freezer, and grabbed a bag, but saw it showed 4/30 on it making it a month and a half old. I let my coworkers know, and they said they would just use it. SoI microwaved the chicken for 2 minutes as instructed on our sandwich building paper, and served it. Five minutes later the customer comes back and shows us it was raw, I was so upset with myself and mad I served that out. Mostly because I recall asking Edward the gm, if we serve raw product. His answer was the eggs and bacon, yet we apparently have raw chicken. I was under the impression the chicken was precooked, and I could no longer continue working somewhere forcing immoral decisions upon me just for a check. It’s wrong, and I wouldn’t want that to happen to someone I care about. So I resigned. I’m a little afraid writing this, but I can tell you it’s the truth. Awesome hardworking people work there and own the place, but the GM Edward asks his employees to cross lines, and that shouldn’t happen.
Absolutely love love love this place. Prosciutto sandwich with fresh mozzarella and blended matcha are the bomb. For few months we stopped going because we found that the employees were not friendly but now they’re all different and super nice. Thank you for being there 24 hours a day for such a long time
Coffee was perfect to me. Not too sweet. The usual suspect sandwich was delicious. Definitely going back for more.
This has always been one of my favorites spots in Vegas. I always come back when Im back in town cos theyve got great staff and good drinks!
Great coffee. Hipster vibe. Intricate food menu. Great spot for using your laptop comfortably
We decided to giver this place a second chance but it didn’t help. The person we ordered with was very rude, no “hello” no “ thank you for the tip”. He made the drink and went to the bathroom leaving us waiting until the other worker come over and noticed us waiting there (thank you for that by the way)The coffee was bad, we had to go and spend more money at the other place.
I think they should widen their variety of drip coffee. But the employees are great
Great food and coffee. But there is no sense of urgency. The staff is too busy joking around and talking to really get your order out in a timely manner. I just spent 25 minutes in line behind four cars waiting for them to get my order. This happens every time I come here I try not to come here if I have to be anywhere in a hurry. Price is too high for the food and lack of service
Absolutely love coming here with my coworkers after a hard shift. This place seems to have really stepped their game up over the past month or so. I believe it could be because of new staff as Ive heard rumors of some old staff being under par. Whoever the owner has running things in the morning has been the absolute sweetest. Ive been coming for several months now dealing with disrespectful people and the only reason I came back was the amazing coffee. Im glad to say not only will i enjoy coming for the coffee but also the new respectful staff and courtesy I have received by them! Keep up the good work!
Love the great selection of their iced coffees ! Almond chai latte is a must
I have been coming to this shop for almost 10 years since I was in college. It was a completely different atmosphere back then and a bit of a hidden student gem. I come here more often now being back in school and its changed so much but still the same vibe and great drinks and food. The past few days theyve been closing early (which is odd cause theyre 24/7) one of the only 24/7 local lowkey spots off the strip if not the only one. I asked why the other day and they told me all their night crew left then I saw the reviews of people complaining FOR the employees. Idk exactly what happened but the bad reviews seem to be from people joining in the cancel bandwagon. This place is what it is. VERY progressive and open minded. Their workers are so diverse and yeah not always the nicest but they get the orders done. People just want to have their ass3s kissed constantly. I love this place still. Its perfect to study and get a good drink as well as see some quirky art here and there.
I love this shop so much! It has such a fun energy and really seems like a safe place for individuals like me! Cant wait to go back!
Food and drinks are horribly overpriced. drinks are good, food isn’t worth it. the owner is really rude and has barked at me, a customer, more than once. He once kicked out myself and a group of three friends because a fourth joined us and didn’t want to buy any food or drinks. The rest of us had all paid, had drinks, and were sitting outside smoking hookah.the people who work here tend to be really nice which is why I’m giving it two instead of one star.
Staff is very unprofessional. They basically ignore you for 10 minutes and then have an attitude as if youre an inconvenience to them.
Great, hip coffee shop with fun craft coffee creations. Ralph was a very friendly and knowledgeable barista. The blended white mocha grasshopper is legit! Madhouse will definitely be on my list of stops every time I visit my family in Vegas!
I really, really wanted to like this place. The decor is avant-garde and they hire hot, tattooed, scantily clad baristas. This place has the potential to be an amazing little coffee shop.Despite all this I just cant support a business where the owner is an inconsiderate loudmouth (in real life and online). I mean, you dont have to scroll very far in the reviews to find him insulting customers.
Good cappuccino great staff
Hello Google! Recently I have posted my review on Yelp, in which I had many poor quality visits and in result of his response, I have decided to post on every platform (Facebook Reviews as well) to allow everyone to see. I strongly advise everyone and anyone take your business elsewhere.Update: The owner changed his response on Yelp and has decided to copy and paste to other reviews as well. Compared to how he initially replied, you can see his true colors. I have not received one message from past or current employees backing up their scumbag owner. Instead, I have received messages sharing their mistreatment working under Marco. I have advised them to contact labor laws and file discrimination claims.
My boyfriend and I were out in Las Vegas on vacation and found this coffee shop before even coming out to Las Vegas. Once we got there the girls working were so super nice. Since it was our first time going we didnt know what to get. We both told the girl helping us what we liked, I like strong yet sweet ice coffee and my boyfriend likes it blended. When she handed us our coffee, we couldnt be more happier. It was so spot on on how we both liked it. We went back 3 days in a row and everytime was just as good as the last. Thank you to everyone at The Madhouse Coffee shop. Him and I are moving to Las Vegas soon and this will be our only coffee shop we go to.
Terrible owner! Coffee isn’t worth the price at all! There are way better places you can go.
Love the coffee, sandwiches and staff. Great positive vibes from the owners and staff. 24 hours to hang out with friends and nice outdoor space to sit.
The avocado toast is killer! The girl with the blonde hair I think her name is Jill is fantastic I love to go there and see her. She makes the best vanilla latte with oat milk. I tell everybody about madhouse, nothing to do with chains.
Very cool place to relax and have an awesome coffee.
I used to love coming here, but let me make this abundantly clear: if you care about the health and wellbeing of employees, do not give this place your business. Ive seen so many employees be overworked to the bone, Ive heard horror stories of how theyve been treated, and Ive heard employees be screamed at by the owner. No thanks! There are plenty of locally-owned coffee shops in town that deserve your business much more.
The decor is like hipster meets Banksy while destroying Starbucks. Baked goods look mixed- some well done, some could use more baking time. Coffee is fabulous— coffee snobs rejoice! We have a place to go in Vegas to satisfy our snobby single origin pour overs and legit lattes without a trace of burnt beans. Such bliss!
How tacky is this? Its very rude and offensive poor taste
The Baristas and the menu is good. But Im not sure there is proper management. Was served a plate that was completely chipped and broken. I could have cut my thumb open terribly. There was paper but no salt on my dish so it was tasteless. Some kind of a sauce would be nice for this. Something to add flavor. Or I could just make it at home if I wanted something boring LOL they should probably have a shaft consult on their menu.
I have no words. Bad quality service. Bad owner. And not just myself but my sister and a friend have all gotten sick here all on separate occasions. Edit: Please don’t discredit my review. This is how I feel and what I experienced without seeing any other posts . You cannot label it as fake, that’s wrong.
I frequent the MadHouse on Eastern so I decided to drop by the Desert Inn location while running errands--BIG MISTAKE. Eastern location is lovely and staff is friendly, but the owner of the Desert Inn chain was unprofessional and rude! Never should anyone who is running a business act like that in front of/to a customer
The drive thru is always so slow. That’s literally my only point of contention. Other than that, the coffee rocks, and so does the food. The impossible burger with the yucca fries is insanely delicious. I think I could eat a bathtub full of those fries and still want more
Definitely a quirky spot - I like it! I needed a caffeine jolt for my drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and happened to be nearby Madhouse. I opted for a large blended Monkey Mocha (Peanut Butter, Banana, Mocha, Chocolate Chips) and WOW it was great! The staff was friendly, told me what on the menu can be made dairy-free (lots of options!). They have a pastry/chocolate case with lots of delicious looking items. Its the kind of place you can bring your laptop and hang out for a bit inside - free wifi! Recommended.
Very nice place really good cake batter flavor and macarons
The place, the vibe, the drinks and food are awesome. Don’t miss it and don’t pay attention to some disgruntled employee fake reviews. Go there, experience it for yourself and enjoy.
Uhhh.... ordered their signature Red Velvet Coffee....tasted like regular coffee with a hint of mocha. Not much flavor..... My Man also had a coffee and he didnt like it. It was maybe 11ish at night. No Bueno.Another day I went in for an Ice Tea, the Flamingo and it was delicious. Drank it outside on the patio.I have mixed reviews....so maybe Ill try it again another day and hope that its good! Which really isnt suppose to be a concern when going somewhere to eat. But eh. Good luck on your eats!
Really nice employees, really good latte too.
Coolest coffee place ever, friendly staff, delicious food and coffee, really hope to come again!
I used to absolutely love their coffee. Then I got my usual favorite a few months ago, and was SO disappointed. It tasted like the coffee beans had been burnt, and gave an extremely bitter taste. I finally decided to give it another try today, and sadly (after about a fifteen minute wait due to the person in front of me) I was still extremely disappointed. I dont know if they changed their supplier or what, but I really do not like the taste of their coffee any more. Its just bitter and gross to me. Im so sad, but Im definitely not giving them a third chance.
You MUST go to this place. Now!!! Order a black eye (coffee + 2 espresso shots) if you want the zoomies!!
The quality of ingredients for food and coffee are superb. The service is devastating subpar. You’ll have to repeat and correct your order a few times at the speaker and then again in person, from then on it’s a lottery weather or not you’ll get what you ordered. I can’t count how many times I’ve given back a drink at the window, or been told “have a good one” after being handed my drink but still waiting for my food order...my favorite food item used to be the prosciutto of happiness, but after receiving sad versions of this order consecutively I’ve completely gave up on it. The prosciutto is always cut as thick as bacon (gross) I would open the sandwich box in disbelief and just say to myself “who on earth would eat this?” I’ve been 2-3 time weekly return customer for about 4 years now, I would be an everyday regular if I could count on madhouse to get the order right.
My favorite place in Las Vegas, the croissants are baked fresh in house and they use intelligentsia coffee which is the very best.
The entire stuff is great we love their impossibile burger, we tried many places but none makes it as good as madhouse. We will be back (maybe even tomorrow lol)
The employees are wonderful but I won’t come back due to the owner being the worst! He’s extremely rude! Not worth it!
Delicious coffee and delightfully sized breakfast food options. Was not expecting the portions we received, very delighted. Graphics on cups were a bit risqué but otherwise a pleasant experience.
Consistent food. Consistent coffee. Modern feel. Win win in my book.
Lattes are good, pastries are okay and staff was a little indifferent
Avocado toast was bomb! 💣
The owner is making up fake good reviews. They were all left by accounts with only one review LOL. Don’t go here the owner is trash!!!
My wife and I have been coming here 3 or 4 times a week for at least 10 years. The drinks are really good and the workers are a joy to see every time.
Im so blessed that I saw this coffee shop because it met my coffee needs! They sure have awesome coffee! I highly recommend this spot to all coffee lovers!
Awesome coffee, worth the trip!
I highly recommend.
Ive eaten at The Madhouse Coffee 4 times now, but only one onsite. The prior 3 orders made via Postmates. To date, Ive had their bread pudding, The Wannabe sandwich, The Island of Capri sandwich, and the Chicken Parmesan sandwich. Ive also had their hibiscus tea and a butter croissant. Both the Wannabe and the Island of Capri sandwiches are delicious and fresh tasting on focaccia bread. Make sure you order the slow roasted tomatoes on your sandwich. Even if youre not usually a fan of traditionally bland tomatoes on sandwiches, youll probably like these. They burst with juicy flavor and really set off a sandwich.Of the things Ive tried, the chicken parmesan was the only mediocre item. The chicken seemed like it may have been previously made and/or refrigerated or frozen. Other than that one issue, the other sandwiches and item were great. I removed one star for that sandwich issue alone. The vibe for this place is, for lack of a more apt description, like a Portland Oregon hipster cafe. I understand that can be both a compliment and a slight depending on who wields that phrase, but I mean that in a positive way as I generally like the change of scenery over the bland desert we live in.If youre perusing Postmates and dont want to drive or youre nearby, give MadHouse a try.
The coffee is ok. The atmosphere is very quirky. Don’t bring your kids in would be the only real advice. It’s pretty slow if you get food, and hardly worth the wait. Fun place, but not worth multiple visits.
Great lunch or breakfast food, great fresh quiches, croissants and coffee, amazing baked goods display, reasonable prices and an excellent location.
I love this cafe! Its a modern cafe with hints of Korean culture, history, and artifacts along with carefully placed decor throughout the space. Theres even a cute little bench to swing in the back of this cafe. The staff is super friendly and very attentive of their customers. Theres plenty of space for people to hang out, nibble of baked goods, sip on some coffee/tea, study, etc. It is first come first serve when it comes to seats so on peak times expect to be on the look out for yourself or your group. Gabi shares a private lot with a few businesses, but I dont imagine space to run out.
Extremely cool and interesting space. Very unique design and fun environment. The patties and breakfast items are fabulous! The open display counter and coffee bar let you see all the magic! They have homemade almond and cashew mills and a fabulous shaken latte. Highly recommended for anyone exploring local Vegas
Best atmosphere drinks food and service. Sooo good.
This was the first place me and my boyfriend went to when we arrived in Las Vegas. The hostess was exceptional! She helped us pick out certain dishes we might like based on what we were in the mood to eat. Theres a spice meter from 1-10, so you can have mild or extremely spicy food. There were also cute drawings on the wall and even some Thai did you knows. We will definitely be returning!
