Discovered Milk Bar from a mobile pop up store near home. Had to try it in Vegas. We took a liking to the Cereal Milk Soft Serve ice cream. Truly a taste a breakfast cereal! Theyve got lots of sweet treats to try. Im sure that will happen eventually. Front counter person was polite and quick. Prices are about normal for the Vegas strip. If youve got a sweet tooth, certainly give em a try.
Highly recommend going at least once! Try the cereal milk flavor— it’s spot on. I also loved the s’mores cookie cake— salty, sweet, and delicious. They heat it up so it’s gooey when you eat it :)The service was alright. A little bit of attitude but nothing absolutely off putting. They’re also quick to bring your orders out.
Cookies were not freshly baked. Taste was OK, similar to a decent boxed cookie. Ive had much, much better. Not worth the hype..at all. Big miss. Spend more money on the product and less money on advertising and maybe the taste will improve. I would not recommend, you can find way better dessert in Vegas.
To pay so much for a cake that taste not even as good as a confetti cake you can bake yourself from the store :( so sad. My wife bought me this for my birthday and I’m so disappointed. Money wasted for sure. I loved the Netflix show the owner has, I really wanted to try it. Really, bake yourself a confetti cake it would be much better. The cake wasn’t moist, it had like a crunch in each layer that made it feel stale? And the frosting was so sweet :(
$10 for a shake that tastes like sour milk. Got the funnel cake shake, the birthday cake shake, and the crunch cereal shake. All tasted terrible don’t waste your time or money.
Was so excited to try Christina Tosis milk bar soft serve after seeing her on master chef... but ew. Tasted like sour spoiled milk... just nasty. I once got a shake from somewhere else that tasted similar and they told me they accidentally served me from the side that needed to be cleaned... 🤢This was supposed to be funnel cake flavored but was more like raw funnel cake (?). The gal at the counter overheard my son say he didnt like it and said, the trash can is behind you. I stammered a response in shock to that comment... another employee came over and they offered him a sticker or cookie, but he had wanted ice cream. So in the trash can it went 🤷♀️ should have asked for a taste first I guess. My other kid liked his chocolate shake but I thought it was gross and sour milk tasting too. oh well. We went next door and paid more for an edible shake.
We stopped by late one night and grabbed the favorites pack which came with Milk Bar Pie, a compost cookie, birthday cake bites and a small thing of their cereal milk soft serve with corn flakes on top. The cake bites were great, but the milk bar pie stole the show. The cookie was not our cup of tea, but I enjoyed the soft serve. It was a little less sweet and the corn flakes were a nice contrast.
Didnt know it was a David Chang collaborative until now,a highly hyped place in my opinion. We ordered a cake and it was definitely not bad, but back in Cincinnati we have local bakeries that make much better pastries and desserts. And service is terrible! I felt like I was getting free dessert from a soup kitchen.
I only got to try the cookies here, I wish I had more time to try other desserts. But the cookies were soft and flavorful. And the vanilla latte was really good.
Visited in NYC and it was just as good here! Not incredibly expensive, either.
I love their cereal milk ice cream however this place is pricey.
Its great, but its a little too sweet for my liking & its sorta expensive? That being said though, I was extremely pumped going to Milk Bar for the first time & Im an avid fan of Christina Tosi, so Im not disappointed.Asians might find it too sweet (shared this with my whole Asian squad and we all agreed on this), but its still pretty darned good!
Lackluster soft serve. Very small serving size and minimal toppings. It tasted like salted caramel ice cream but more salt than caramel. I went to try because I liked some of the cookies but I wont be getting g the soft serve again.
I enjoyed the birthday shake. Will never get one again tho as it was way too overpriced. The shake was too small for $10.
Huge disappointment. The baked goods taste WAY fresher when you order them online and have them “overnighted” to you versus ordering them from this location. The cake truffles were dry and crumbly, as opposed to the moist DELICIOUS ones I’ve received from their online store. Save yourself some heartache if you’re an NYC Milk Bar fan like me.
It was good, nothing to write home about though. Too much hype maybe
Very long wait but the treats are delicious. I think what makes the line go so slow is that people are sampling ice creams. The grouch in me just wanted to say to live a little and just go with it, but I understand people are skeptical about purchasing a pricey treat. I ordered the strawberry corn quake. It reminded me of a DQ blizzard in the way they make it. I believe it was strawberry ice cream with corn cookies. I would highly recommend paying the extra $3 to get the larger size for anything. It is literally double the size. I also tried the milk and cereal shake this one was not sweet, it honestly tastes like cornflakes and milk but it was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. Between the two I was surprised I liked the one that was less sweet (and if you track calories this shake wasnt very heavy on calories either, win win.)
I think the products put out by Milk Bar are delicious, however my wife and I went to visit Milk Bar for our wedding anniversary and we got in line at exactly 9:50 pm and we were told we would not be served. This location closes at 10:00 pm NOT 9:50 pm. There was only two other people in front of us in line. To refuse us service is bad business and very lazy work ethic
Almost didnt go because of these reviews. We had the soft serve with cereal crunch, a birthday cake shake, and some of the truffles. Everything was really good, but maybe these reviews kept our expectations in check.
Best coffee Ive found in this corner of Vegas. The pre-packaged sweets are great if youre in the mood, but the espresso is an underrated gem in this coffee desert.
I really wanted to try Milk Bar after watching Christina Tosi on Chefs Table and Master Chef. I got the famous cereal milk soft serve, cereal milk mix, the Milk bar pie formally (Crack Pie) and compost cookie. My goodness was it good. The soft serve was the most unique idea Ive ever seen. One of your favorite parts of eating a bowl of frosted flakes cereal is the milk at the end and this soft serve gives you that in icecream form. Delicious!!
Strategically placed right next to two popular restaurants to cater to the sweet tooth after, and with the Chefs table documentary backing it - i had to try it. The crack pie was pretty good - very sweet (pretty good, not dope good). The cookie was pretty good too. Will try the birthday cake slice next time
A disappointing experience. The desserts taste OK, but are extremely overpriced. Long lines as well.
Firstly, I’m a fan of milk bar and Christina Tosi. I love the concept and design, and the products are unique. The 3 stars isn’t because of this particular location. The service was good and I have never waited in line too long. The cereal milk and crack pie soft serve (with cornflakes) are my favorite. The cereal milk “ adult” shake is good, too. I don’t care for the cookies.
The slice of birthday cake brought me so much joy for a trip my wife set up for my birthday. Big win in my book. The cereal milk ice cream was enjoyable, too.
Less than impressed with the chocolate birthday cake. It tasted like it had been left in the refrigerator for quite a while. The frosting was on par with store brand and the actual cake was very dry. The shakes had already sold out, so I cant speak to the quality of those. However, with so many other incredible food choices around the casino, Milk left a lot to be desired.
For me, its the story behind Christina Tosi and her legacy she has made the food world. Yes, its expensive af for a slice and is very questionable for non-foodies. However, highly recommend Chefs Table on Netflix (Season 4, Ep 1) before getting something from here. The original store is in NYC so this one does not have the same magic, but is good when you are craving some of her classic desserts and you happen to be in Las Vegas. We were celebrating my moms birthday so I got a slice and surprised her in the hotel room. The Birthday Cake definitely hit the spot!!
Read previous reviews and was skeptical. Seems like they recently opened. We didnt have any cookies but got the soft serve and a couple of milk shakes. They taste exactly as described. The leftover milk after eating a bowl of corn flakes or fruity pebble. The crack pie soft serve is like liquid pecan pie. Really good! Definitely worth a try if your in the area. And the people that work there were really friendly and answered all our questions about the flavors they offered.
Very disappointed in this. We have been looking forward to trying out Christina Tossis place for a long time. We tried the birthday cake and it was not good. Tasted like it was old and dried out. Was nice and sweet but just not fresh, which is what you would expect for a $14 slice of cake! Costco cakes are so much better! The cake truffles and cookies are good, but taste and look like they were made in a factory far away months ago. I really expected better quality for this type of place from a celebrity chef! Not worth the price.
Dry previously frozen birthday cake $14, pre packaged chocolate cookie. I saw the employee open a UPS box before serving a compost cookie. I expected fresh baked goods when it came to this Master Chef. I was disappointed in both quality and taste. My wedding cake topper tasted better (after a year frozen!)!
I’ve tried their cereal milk soft serve before at another location, and it was just okay. I never understood the hype about overpaying for mediocre soft serve, so this time I decided to give the milk bar pie a try. Honestly this dessert is just plain bad. For the price you pay you’d expect the slice to be at least a little bit thicker (it’s slightly thicker than a cookie). As for the taste, it’s best described as pure sugar solidified in a form of a dessert pie, and it was just not good at all. If you insist on trying some desserts here because of the hype, I’d recommend just staying away from the milk bar pie at all cost.
Was really excited to try this bakery, but was really disappointed. Got the corn cookie because it was unique and the apple pie cake truffles. Neither one was over the top good in fact we didn’t even finish the cookie. I know it is Las Vegas but 14.00 for a slice of cake is a little pricey and glad I didn’t spend the money. On the plus side the staff was very friendly and efficient.
Yum. Greatest Hits was awesome.
We enjoyed our birthday cake shake. Everything else not made with the soft serve is prepackaged and not fresh on-site. Just a heads up if you are hoping for on-site baked goods.
I never leave reviews but Im extremely frustrated with how a birthday cake I purchased turned out. I didnt ask for any lettering, just for the cake to be decorated as advertised. They completely skimped on the top cake pops, and I ended up with a ridiculous looking cake. It was put in a bag before I could really take a look at it, and it is such a hassle to go back that Im stuck with an overpriced mediocre cake. People eat with their eyes before their mouths and its making me so frustrated that I had to leave my first Google review for it.
This place is simply not good. We had the soft serve and couldn’t even come close to finishing it. The blueberry cookie was also surprisingly hard to stomach. The only upside is the storefront is aesthetically pleasing.
Conveniently located right next to Momofuku, this is definitely worth visiting if your near the Cosmo. Their soft serve is amazing and their cookies are excellent. My friend begged me to bring back a pack of their bday truffles and one of each flavor cookies they had as a special request for his pregnant wife who craved milk bar so we made a stop to grab all their cookie flavors that day and they didnt disappoint.
Worker said she wouldn’t make a milk shake because she was working alone horrible service flavors so so stay away get something better with better service
I ordered the Birthday cake shake didnt taste like ice cream pretty bland paid $11 not worth it. The corn cookie was not tasty couldnt take anorher bite. The only cookie thay was edible was the confetti cookie.
Ordered 3 cookies and a milk bar pie and had it from Postmates. Paid over $25 expecting some wonderful cookies and grrreat pie for the price. I normally order from Crumbl but decided to give this a shot. All the items were cold as if they just came out of a freezer, almost broke my tooth biting into one of the cookies. Delivery took an hour and a half as well.
Got a sample of everything. Soft serve tastes just like cereal milk and was not special for me but I am not a big fan of cereal. The best thing we got was definitely the birthday cake truffles. My husband is even considering ordering some online and shipping to our home.
This place was disgusting to say the least. Spent $35 on 4 cookies, 2 soft serves, and the birthday cake truffles. The soft serve was so salty, we threw it away after 2 bites.
Birthday cake is waaaay too sweet
Wow this was horrible. Milk cereal shake and chocolate birthday cake. Shake lacked flavor and cake was like cardboard. Luckily it was only $50 dollars. Viva Las Vegas but bypass the Milk Bone/ Bar.
Best birthday cake Shake in town
We got the chocolate cake malt. It was an okay drink. It tasted like chocolate with chunks of like a cookie dough/chocolate chip chunks in it. The malt couldve also have been more prominent. For 10$ I was expecting something special. I guess the price is just because the place is on the strip. The malt I make at home are much better than what they gave us.I would not go back.
Little costly, $16 for a piece of birthday cake that was stale like a piece of wood with sugar on it. Maybe it was left in the fridge for a few weeks I dont know. They just gotta improve the quality of their cake
Christina Tossi you da bomb! Tried the b’day cake truffles and the compost cookie and going back for more because this deliciousness needs to be shared. I have tried her recipes at home and they never turn out quite right so I was skeptical that the actual product was very good...but it IS.
After a long drive from Phoenix with stops along the Grand Canyon and Page, AZ, we were so excited to finally try Momofuku and Milk Bar right next door. We are huge David Chang fans, so words cannot describe the disappointment we experienced. Everything was so mediocre. Momofuku was extremely underwhelming. Milk Bar was somehow even worse, we threw our ice cream out after one bite because it was so disgusting. I love ice cream and dont have very high standards when it comes to dessert; I am extremely easy to please. The ice cream tasted like it had been left in the freezer for 6 months, it was seriously awful. We had multiple flavours and everything was disgusting. Very surprised this is the quality that comes from a David Chang establishment.
So disappointed!!! Came to Las Vegas and decided to try out milk bar for their famous cereal milk soft serve...... went out of my way to find it, got to the window at 9:15pm for them to tell me that they shut their soft serve machine down already. Don’t you close at 10pm? How do you run a business and cut off your machines 45 mins early?
Wondering why Chef Tosi’s milkbar has been rated less than 5 stars, but that makes me sad. I appreciate her ideas (childhood food reimagined), and I always come back for one thing: the cereal milk soft serve with cornflake crunch. We make that trip to the Strip just for it, although it’s kind of scary during the pandemic to see how packed the area can get.The sweetness level of the cereal milk ice cream is good, and the butter and salt in the/texture of the cornflake crunch create that nice contrast.
The Cereal Milk White Russian is amazing!
My husband and I went here twice. Once just for a coffee because I didnt want to go downstairs to the Starbucks, and the second time was for a late night treat. The cold brew was really good, nothing special or anything. It had great flavor, and the staff was careful to put just the amount of milk I wanted in the coffee. The second time, we both had milkshakes. I had the Crunchy Cereal shake, and my husband had the Milk Bar shake. We were very happy with the milkshakes, even at the price. I loved the cereal milkshake so much. It was extremely unique and Im definitely glad I got to try it. The staff was very nice and friendly. There were so many things I wish I had tried here, like the Birthday Cake Latte. I will definitely be stopping by again on our next trip to Vegas.
Crack pie is awesome, crunchy cereal milkshake was good too
The cereal milk soft serve tasted like salt-I only had one bite and threw away. The customer service is okay.
Was sent wrong items and when I contacted customer support they told me to wait for a response and then just closed my ticket. Sadly will have to open a chargeback and never got to try the flavor of truffles I wanted
Such a disappointment. I could have bought a gas station cookie for a dollar that would taste better. Not worth the money at all. Everything is prepackaged and tastes like preservatives. So sad.
Purchased:- Birthday Cake slice- Compost Cookie- Confetti CookieThe cake was not that good. The taste, the consistency...and when you factor in the price it really is a crime. The confetti cookie tasted synthetic, and I threw over half of it away. The compost cookie on the other hand, which I was told was their most popular one...is a pretty good cookie. I dont think itll make your top 5 cookies, but it certainly is a good cookie and Im glad I bought it, and Id certainly have another again. It might be best for you to know the special ingredients in the compost cookie beforehand, as it makes more sense as you eat it...-Chocolate Chips, butterscotch chips, graham crust, rolled oats, ground coffee, potato chips, pretzels. So its like a fancy monster cookie. Only because the innovation of this cookie, am I giving this place 3 stars. The gentleman that helped me at the register was really nice and informative and helped me with being a newbie to this place.Tread carefully, but certainly pick up a compost cookie at least.
Overpriced terrible. Everything just takes like 50 lbs of sugar.
Extremely disappointed in the soft serve. It taste like they switched the sugar for salt. Our entire group took one bite and then we threw it away. Definitely not worth the price.
Soft serve wasn’t what I was expecting. It tasted like a sour milk and had hard cereal around the side of it. I thought that it would have been a little more of a sweet ice cream. I wasn’t impressed at all.The birthday cake shake was much better but for the price I expected it to have a little more. The shake was mixed with frosting and sprinkles that helped make the taste sweeter than the soft serve. The cookies were good. There are a few different options to choose from.Overall it was okay and I can say that I tried it. I think there are better places to get more quality ice cream and have better prices for what you get.
