I love coming to this shop because everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The shop is very clean and very well sanitized. The shop has a great vibe from deco to the artist to the experience. They love making conversation to help relax you if you’re nervous about a tattoo or piercing. They are very professional and reasonable in pricing and the services they offer. Davi was amazing when he did my tattoo, he was comforting and made me feel very relaxed getting my first tattoo on my forearm. He will go above and beyond for someone to be happy with their tattoo. Highly recommend visiting ship and anchor for any of their services, they will not let you down.

I was going to Vegas on vacation and wanted to get a tattoo while I was there. I had been speaking with the manager,Sindy about a month before I got there. She was amazing in helping me set up my appointment, put me with an artist that specializes in the type of tattoo I wanted . The shop was super clean and the artists were so friendly. My work was done by Leo and I cannot day enough good things about his work!!! I absolutely love my tattoo.

This is the only tattoo shop I would ever use again. I fly in from Phoenix when I need work done. The workmanship is amazing the fees are competitive and the location is so convenient. Leo is the artist that has exclusively worked with me but I have observed other people getting work done and the other artists are excellent as well. It seems like there is a tattoo parlor on every block in Las Vegas but this is really the only one you need to go to.

I cant say enough about this place! We were staying at The Strat and found it while walking around the hotel. Leo V. was my artist and I absolutely loved the end result. I brought in a picture that Id put together of different designs I found online and Leo cleaned it up and added in the semicolon I wanted.There is a minimum $100 spend regardless of the size or complexity of your piece.In addition to the tattoo, I also got my nose and tragus pierced by Leo.

We were walk-ins. Davi drew up what I was asking for and got my husband and I in right away. We got matching 10 year anniversary tattoos. Place was clean, and all protocol was adhered to. Reasonably priced.

Shop very clean, there was no pressure. The staff answered all of our questions. They did my tattoo same day. I was there at 11 she was tattooing another person, made my appointment for 2 pm came back at 2 had me in and out in about an hour. Would highly recommend. Wish i lived in Las Vegas. If i come back i will definitely be stoping and getting other tattoo.

Artists were super friendly had great conversation the whole time! Very reasonably priced and took 4 of us with no appointment or deposit. Very quick we were in and out in an hour!

I loved this place! Fernando did my tattoos and the line work is beautiful! It’s crisp and clean and barely hurt. He was super accommodating and professional without being impersonal. He chatted with me the whole time to keep my mind off the needle. Will be returning to him next time I’m in town!

This place is great! I forgot to ask the names of the two women, both young (one with black hair and one with blonde hair. Both glasses) they got us in before closing and took the time to pair two pictures of what I wanted and drew up a new one. Came out exactly how I wanted it And paid very much time to detail and took her time. They did a great job on my girlfriend also. Located in the strat hotel, not bad prices at all! I went to another local shop and wanted to charge me $400 for the same tattoo and they did it for $200. (Plus touching up a old tattoo I had)

Not out of state friendly when someone needs a touchup and the person comes from out of state on there time and money and they refuse to do it cause they are busy when the artist says to come back next time!

Justin Ray is amazing!!! He takes the time to work with you to make sure that you are getting a tattoo that is something that fits who you are! He has been tattooing for a very long time and has the skills to make you super proud of the tattoo you will have forever!! I have gotten so many compliments from countless people about my tattoo!! He makes you feel comfortable and has a funny witty sense of humor about him!! You can tell he really loves what he does!! Go see him you will not be disappointed!!

My brother and I had planned to get sibling tattoos while in town. It was his first tattoo and meant a lot to us. After calling around and looking at different shops, we decided to go to Ship and Anchor Tattoo. We were lucky enough to get Fernando who was amazing! He designed the perfect tattoo for us and did a great job keeping my brother stoked through his first tattoo experience! He also touched up a tattoo I had gotten at the shop years ago and made it look better than new. Great tattoo artist with reasonable prices! 10/10 would recommend!

My experience with Steve at Ship and Anchor was absolutely amazing from start to finish.I had an idea for a memorial tattoo for one of my deceased best friends, and I had been holding onto that tattoo idea since his passing. I never liked any of the designs I came up with, but I also hadnt found someone who I was comfortable with designing it.My pool team won a trip to Vegas, and I figured I would check out a few artists while there, starting with the shop in the hotel I was at. Steve was there, and I showed him a reference picture of what I wanted, and explained the color effect I was going for. He showed me some of his similar/recent work, and asked if he could tweak it a little, and I told him to go for it. Part of every worth-while tattoo in my opinion is the individual twists an artist puts on it. I set my appointment for a few days later, to give me time to compete in the 9-ball tournament without having to worry about a healing tattoo getting in the way, and also Steve estimated that the work would take between 4 and 6 hours depending, so I wanted to schedule a solid chunk of time to get it done.When he showed me his mock-up on the day of the appointment, I was super excited. He had taken my crummy photo reference and color ideas, and what he had on paper was even better than I imagined in my head. His tattooing work was excellent, meticulous, and methodical. I could tell he was focused on being as thorough as possible, and you can honestly really see that dedication in the tattoo. The way the color blends fade together well, the placement of the white and yellow highlights, and the backdrop of starry black against the galaxy colors, its all excellently and artistically done.Since Ive come back home, Ive had more compliments than I can count. So many people tell me it looks so good and vibrant and well done that it must be fake, which while thats a weird compliment, is a compliment nonetheless.I couldnt ask for a better memorial tattoo, and the next time I am in Vegas, Ill definitely be going back.

Jesse really knows his stuff with piercings. I have total confidence with his talents, especially when my belly button piercing from somewhere else closed up and he was able to thread it and get my ring back in it without charging me! Very cool! It was so nice knowing he was so knowledgeable and talented and I could completely relax about it 😁. Great guy 👍👍👍

Ive seen their art, looks amazing. I had gone in for a piercing but because of covid, they werent doing any tatts or piercing from neck up at this time.

I had Breezy recolor an old tattoo from 1982. She did a great job and was quick. Im completely satisfied with her work. I would use this shop again.

I was so nervous about getting my first tattoo but the guys at Ship & Anchor were awesome. Steve did my work and let me say, that man has the hands of an angel! I thought it would hurt so bad but it was only a bit uncomfortable at worst and sometimes it actually tickled! Im kind of a wimp so I was really surprised. I had a few ideas of things that I like and Steve was able to design something that was perfect. I really could not be happier. The assistant there, I think his name was John, was also really cool. He kept cracking jokes to make me feel less nervous about everything. And he did a great job sanitizing everything. There is a difference between just wiping something down and making sure its clean, this shop seems to be really committed keeping everything safe and sanitary.Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. The shop was really cool but the atmosphere wasnt intimidating, everything was clean, the prices were affordable, the people were great and I love my tattoo.

Nice little shop with a good vibe and good artists.Even though its 24/7 and located inside the Strat they got reasonable prices unlike some places at the Stip.Will be back.

So we got tattoos on July 4 wedding tattoos my wifes ever line but one blew out so the ink bleed inside all the lines. We had no color just black lines Celtic knot. But hers are all black and filled in. So this special tattoo is now almost a blob. We went the next day to show the artist he was puzzled never seen this well every other place I have gone said he held the needle wrong and used to much pressure ( i am not sure this was both of our first tattoos and probably last both look terrible and was very painful) we can pay another 200 and get them fixed. We found out our tattoos artist was an apprentice the next dayThis is something we should have known before we let him put this ever lasting special tattoo on us, obviously we would have not let this happen. I do not recommend this place 120 each for simple tattoos just turned into a 400 tattoo so it can look the way it is suppose to, for our wedding bands

Marla did awesome work. She was very detailed and professional. Half arm sleeve with touch up of black panther 6 hours in one sitting. She was able to design what I envisioned and meet my timeline to fly home. Highly recommended

Leo is an awesome artist. I just love my work and how he blended my Snoopy and surf board on a beach next to my pre-existing sun and B.A.M. Very happy and price was reasonable.

My mom and I went in, we showed them what we wanted, Jesse did the design first try my mom and I absolutely loved it! Jesse did my moms tattoo and Ken did mine.. It was a wonderful experience, they did such a great job on both of our tattoos! I cant wait to go back when I come visit Las Vegas again :)

Stayed at the stratosphere hotel and just on a whim decided to check this place out as I had a plan to get a tattoo with my daughter. This place was quick to get us in and figure out what we wanted (simple tattoo design we had in mind) reasonably priced..tattoo artist were very friendly and it all worked out well!!!

Leo is the best tattoo artist Ive ever had!

Came in and put down a deposit on a tattoo I was super excited about. I think about this stuff for years before I move forward... I was promised artwork within 12 hours, and days later got nothing. I asked for my deposit back, which is unrefundable, even if your artist backs out. Good luck.

Absolutely ridiculous, I was quoted $100 for a shop minimum tattoo then left to grab a bite to eat. When I returned there was a different artist and I was quoted $160 for the same tattoo I described previously.. The first gentlemen (with green hair) was very helpful, confident and straightforward however the second artist I spoke with seemed like he was just trying to make extra money for the night. As a rare individual who wasnt drunk in Vegas I am disappointed with the pricing inconsistencies therefore I chose to not get a tattoo at all during my birthday vacation in Vegas due to this bad experience.

Although I havent been to the actual shop, I had the pleasure of being tattooed by BJ (Jesus Rascon) at the Baltimore Tattoo Convention. Both my girlfriend and I got tattooed. He was very professional and easy going. He does great work and our tattoos were no exception. We showed him what we wanted. He was able to draw it up easily and put his own twist on it. They turned out great! He is very talented and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. If we ever make it out to Vegas, we will definitely be stopping by to get more work done.

My boyfriend and I went in for MATCHING tattoos. We sent the image in to their printer hours before our appointments. We got there, they were not ready. We had two different guys, my boyfriend went upstairs, I was downstairs. The staff was very unprofessional, from the conversations going on in the shop to the music playing in the shop. Then...are tattoos dont match at all...actually not even close. Very very disappointed. My boyfriend got exactly what we wanted and Im not sure at all what I got. Its not a bad tattoo, its just not at all what I wanted which was a matching tattoo.

It was my first time in Las Vegas and my tattoo artist was Irvin Carreon he was awesome I got a lupus tattoo with a butterfly

For line work and writing, I totally completely recommend Jesse, i believe hes the only one with gauges in his ears. Hands down, best writing Ive seen ever (which made me nervous bc #1-its vegas and #2-the shops open 24/7). The minimum base pay is $100 and then goes up from there. The shop pays 50/50 with the artist. Tips solely goes to artist.

Ship and Anchor is another typical strip tattoo shop that cares more about money than producing quality tattoos. I’d recommend going somewhere off the strip that will have professional artists instead of amateurs for half the price.I know several artists from Reverie Tattoo that left this shop due to shady management. That is not a good sign. Sindy, the owner, cussed me out when I called in a customer complaint- and said she was glad they half assed my tattoo- beyond unprofessional.Please learn from my mistake and don’t waste your money here!EDIT: Lol. In response to the manager that cussed me out: how about instead of making excuses for your establishments shortcomings, you take accountability and learn from your mistakes? I’m clearly not trying to promote any business, just stating facts. Maybe if you hadn’t cussed me out and stole my deposit I wouldn’t be writing a bad review in the first place? Hmmmm but that’s just my two cents.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the stratosphere and i chose this tattoo shop pretty much for the convenience. A nice guy named bryan i believe did my work. I got a beautiful colorful koi on my shoulder blade. I was and am insanely pleased with the turn out. Relaxed environment, kind tattoist and beutiful art. Thanks ship and anchor!
