Its an interesting pet store, been around a long time. Seems their mains are smaller pets and feeders, mice, gerbils, lots of snakes. Pricy for small pet store, though not for the small mammals, crickets.Theyve got some Very exotic animals, micro squirels!? Chinchillas, sugar gliders..And a Genet. The more exotic animals, such as the Genet are not for sale, belongs to owner apparently. Which is sad, is a small space to keep such an animal. I suppose its to valuable to let it roam around with the cats, but man, has been in that enclosure for years.

Great selection of pets & pet food that u cant get in Big Company pet stores.

Used to be wonderful. Bought rats there 2 years ago. Entirely healthy. No issues. Bought more 3 days ago and one died suddenly. Not a URI, just was lethargic after a day and it drops dead. They used to have maybe 10 baby rats in an enclosure that now stores 60. They also recommended i buy Kaytee rat food which is literally toxic to rats. I felt sick because Im pretty sure I saw a dead ferret in an enclosure with 20 others. I know there arent many options for rats in vegas but steer clear of here.

I bought my ferret here 3 yrs ago, it took a year and a half to get rid of the ear mites. At the time they had a store ferret that stayed with the babies (not authorized by Marshall Ferret Farms) this store ferret (poor thing) probably still has ear mites if its even alive. I used the vet that they use from American Pet Hospital and she is the worst ferret vet! I had to put my boy to sleep last week because of health issues. If you need a ferret vet (or exotic vet) go to Aloha Animal Hospital theyre the best in Las Vegas. Furthermore, please do not buy a pet from this store your pet will go home sick and break your heart when you cant do anything to save it because it had health issues all the way from the store. I really hope this horrible store has stopped letting loser stupid mothers bring their kids and treat the store pets like a petting zoo.

They sell ILLEGAL WILDLIFE HERE. To people who want to buy monkeys and other wildlife, how do you think they obtain these animals? Its completely immoral for wild animals to be held as pets, alone without their kind, let alone legal. Will be reporting this store, needs to be shut down.

This place had a lot of animals but it was very dirty. They do have 2 cats roaming the store which I thought was cute, but the bugs flying around the store was kind of a turn off.

This pet store is NOTHING like how it used to be. This time around, they had like 3 birds (one looked very ill) and about 5 pets to take home available. The snakes looked in rough shape. They also had a slider turtle for $15 that wasnt even cared for. It was left under a shelf..I honestly dont understand how or why this place is still open. Most of the animals here are store-owned and are Not For Sale. Is that really necessary to bring all your pets to the store where you work?

Hi there I bought my pet Mice and Rats here there really nice and have good pieces the rats where $8.99 for fancy and $11.99 dumbo and the mice were $2.50 each I’m very happy of how they take care of them thank you guys!

So, this place used to be so different from what I remembered, compared to when they were across the street. They used to have a better selection of types and colors. They dont have a lot of what they used to offer but what seems worse is that it seems like some of them were sickly or stressed out. It was heartbreaking to see that my family and I couldnt be there much longer.

They sell sick animals and dont have a proper answer on age, much more expensive then going through a breeder look locally for vegas try feathers and spikes

Very cool place! They have a sugar glider, a monkey(not for sale), a parrot, and multiple cats that seem to roam the store. One of the cats jumped on my back while I was looking at animals which was very exciting, but if you’re allergic to cats you should stay out as they free roam the store. They have very cool animals that you won’t see in bigger name pet stores, but their variety is also limited (especially the fish).

Love this place. Pet Kingdom and the people who work there are awesome. I bought 2 ferrets from them, one in October and another one last week. Both are super friendly, in perfect health and were already completely litter trained when I brought them home. The owner was really helpful and let me order in advance since I live out of state. The store and cages are all clean and the animals are very well cared for. Lots of different exotic pets and great selection of supplies too.

The staff is awesome. My snakes love their feeder mice over any other place. I have yet to purchase a pet there but only because nothing has appealed to me. I do believe they are well taken care of. They expanded their selection which is pretty sweet.

Small store, great variety of pets. There are 2 store cats that hang out near the register and love attention. The staff is very nice and informative letting you know about the pets. Staff was nice enough to let us know we could pet certain animals and even pick them up to let our child pet them. Small parking, small location, big variety of needed items.

There was no hedgehogs or monkeys as they advertised for sale.

Extremely help full and the biggest thing is they care!!! They hear you out and the owner helped with half my vet bill and gave me free medication for my ferret he is happy and healthier then ever now at 7 months old I WILL ONLY GO HEAR EXOTIC PETS IS NOT SOMEWHERE YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS......with that being said be careful with some other pet stores will sell you sick pets and stick you to pay for the bill or if it dies you are screwed .. dont go to exotic pets come here.❤️🤗

Fantastic selection and service!!! This pet store offers so much more then the big commercial chain stores. For one, the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and they will go the extra mile to get in stock whatever it is their patrons need. I was out of duck food so they drove to their supplier and got that the very next day for me. I dont know of any commercial chain-store that would do that!They have moved their location across the street, and they have even more animals reptiles birds and rodents in the new location. Its crazy good! The store is amazing because they have the more unusual pets in addition to the traditional ones. It is interesting, educational, and exciting to go in.Whatever your need, Pet Kingdom either has it in stock, or probably can get it quickly, and the personal service that they provide is just something that you cannot get from the commercial chain stores. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this business to anybody. They truly care, and they are friendly, professional, and they have a wide variety of pets to choose from that cannot be found elsewhere. I would check this store first!!!

My boyfriend bought me a dwarf hamster from this place a week ago. Today we were about to clean his cage and realized our little hamster wasn’t a boy it was a girl. She had given birth, and the seller did not notify us. If I could give this place a 0 I would. You should know what you are buying and the health of the pet before buying it. We were not prepared for this at all, we didn’t have time to clean the cage and provide her nesting supplies, or anything else. I will never shop here again, and I wouldn’t advise others to get any pets from here either.

There are shop cats that roam inside. They are sweet and the animals all look well and in good health.

Its a really cool place it was just that the price for the food for my rabbit was a little mkre expensive than it was at walmart

Customer service is awesome and the people are nice! Rats and bunnies are free touch meaning you can just go to the open cage and cuddle them with no supervision from a worker! They sell tons of animals! The baby rats are a bit skittish, but they never bit me. Same with the rabbits. One of the rabbits happily cuddled my on my chest! I love in California so I cant visit very often, but when I come back to Vegas, definitely coming back to cuddle with the rats and bunnies!!! They have marmoset monkeys too! Also very healthy animals and extremely cheap rats!

I like the atmosphere in here. Dont go if you have allergies to any animals, especially cats and bunnies. They let the cats roam and have a place where you can pet the bunnies. I loved it, though!! I loved that they let you interact with the animals. And all the staff members know their stuff. They answered all our questions about the different pets.I didnt actually buy a pet from here I went to browse so I dont now about the health or behavior of the animals from this store after you buy them. From what I gather its a nice little place, though.

I have been buying pets from Pet Kingdom for over 30 years. Pets and supplies of all varieties. I dont live in Nevada and have to travel if I want a pet with some variety and they have been there for me every time. On this occasion we had rolled into town to visit with family for Christmas and decided that we wanted to take a new pet home as it had been a little over a year since my best friend passed. We went to the store on a Saturday, which by the way, is in the same location too, and looked at all the pets that were available. We came back on Sunday on the way the home as we had decided on the pet we wanted. Well with the information the knowledgable lady that helped us, I think either the owner or manager, passed on we actually walked out with a (unplanned) pair of new pets. This transaction happened just before Christmas and our new pets are already a solid part of the family and happy and healthy.On a side note; people giving one star reviews for what they think are bad conditions or cages/enclosures being too small should take the time to educate themselves about what it actually takes and is required for each and every type of animal in the store, including the very happy monkey that belongs to the store, before spouting off a bunch of non-sense and threatening to call animal control. Your time might be better spent getting a life. :) If you have a bad experience that is a different situation, of course.

A local business thats passionate about animals and environmental awareness. The owners always provide excellent customer service when ever I stop by. Its also refreshing and reassuring to hear that they conduct a thorough background check before customers can adopt an animal. I highly recommend you stop by whenever your in need to pet appliances, food and more!

We tried going twice to purchase a ferret and the people would not even let us in the door very rude people I hope nobody gives them business I know forsure I never will plus its a small dirty store

Great place with great staff A+ in my book. Ive bought a few reptiles yesterday and the staff were just amazing with there knowledge on all there animals. This short lady was the rudest and should not be working with animals. I brought my cat to get his nails trimmed and when i got there this guy was nice and told me it would be like a 5 minute wait. My cat is the nicest but he got irritated from being in his cage for too long. When the lady got there she was in a bad mood i told her my cat was a little mad and she gave me this “don’t care” look. She then took him to the back and closed the door. I do not know what they did to my cat but he pooped in his cage probably because of anger or he was scared. And they just left him like that. They didn’t finish his trim (i get it because he was mad) but the lady has such a horrible attitude. Should NOT handle pets. Never coming back.

I went and got a hamster from there today and they seemed very busy. They had a large selection to choose from. I was surprised how cheap the hamsters were. I bought a black teddy bear for $5. Waiting to see if he is really as healthy as he looks. Overall a cool place. (Watch out for that cat) and try to go when they aren’t to busy.

They really dont have many pets in their store right now so there really wasnt alot to see. I liked the little monkey, tortoise, and lizards. Pretty small store.

Excellent customer service! Although they didnt currently have the product I was looking, they went out of there way to help us fine what we needed. She gave us the information of two other stores that carried the product, and even found their phone numbers for us. Well happily come back here for future purchases. :)

They have the ferrets we wanted, but the guy who attends the place, some young boy was such an asswhole when we asked him if we could hold the ferret before we purchased it. He said no, I said well how am I gonna know if I want him or if he is gonna bite my daughter.. to which he responded, they all bite when they are little. I was heated.. i have had ferrets before and they are amazing animals w the right care. Anyway now I gotta drive to another pet shop to buy 2 ferrets because this guy was an asswhole.

Heard about this store form a friend that recommended we go and check out all the exotic and fascinating animals they sell! Saw ferrets, spiders, puppies, cats, snakes! Great friendly staff that answered all our questions! We bought some stuff for our cats and will be coming back to check out what new animals they have!

Have always loved this store. They always have cool and interesting animals. I was surprised to find out they moved locations, but its right across the street thankfully. I went in and loved on their cute little pigs they have as well as a little hedge hog. The lady behind the counter was rude as usual, i dont know if they train them to be like that or if they all just hate their job.

Great little pet shop very knowledgeable on the animals. Reasonable prices. Carry a lot of things other retailers for pets dont have. A very clean and happy environment.

BEWARE! We bought a hedgehog from here two months ago and she died this morning. They never told us her age. She was either already sick or old. When we went my daughter even said the way they had them set up didn’t look right. There were 10 hedgehogs in one cage with one wheel. They didn’t have a thermometer in the cages. We did everything they said. My daughter researched all summer on how to care for hedgehogs. She fed it hedgehog food and supplemented her diet with freeze dried meal worms and fresh fruit and veggies. Her cage was cleaned every week. She got fresh bottled water every day. My daughter bonded with her and now she’s heartbroken. She did everything right and now we have to bury a hedgehog we’ve had for two months. Please don’t buy your exotic pet from here.

When you walk in, you get this cozy, Animal Kingdom feeling... from a gentle cat wandering around, to critters all over the place... to staff who are (at least in appearance) remarkably comfortable with all of them. Go here for semi-exotics... they have very little for dogs. I was going to give 4 stars b/c of the dogs issue, but no fair to penalize when thats not their only specialty and theyre in a relatively small store!

It was a little tiny pet shop and I popped in on a whim, really good selection of all kinds of animals, ferrets, a marmoset, a big scorpion, snakes from small to large. They had an animal I hadnt ever heard of before called a genet, sugar gliders and hedgehogs and a funny lazy cat hammock where the store cat is usually lounging listlessly in the sun. Check it out especially if you need some kind of small furry rodent pet or a snake or a lizard.

Has moved across the street next to boost mobile. The animals looked happy and healthy. Employees were personable and attentive. Yes I would recommend.

This has to be one of the worst pet stores I have ever stepped foot in not only are the people that work there extremely rude disrespectful and unknowledgeable But the crates and the conditions that the animals live in is appalling. It literally looks like they are living in a 3rd world country. Not only do that animals have no food but they live in small cramped cages. There is a monkey in there that looks like hes living in a small fish tank you look so sad and miserable I will be calling animal control on this place as soon as I get home. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves

Best store hands down, i go there once a week for my crickets for my crested geckos and mice for my snakes, that i bought at the same store..best prices in town and friendly knowledgeable staff..they always have new animals and clean environment for them..

Ethical nightmare. Unbelievably small and over crowded cages, even on store pets that’s are not for sale. Lots of unethical pets and wild caught animals. Almost every reptile had stuck shed. There was a monkey in a tiny cage with signs warning people not to go near it. the poor thing looked so cramped and miserable. I shouldn’t have to tell you that monkeys do not belong as pets. 0/10. This place does not care about the welfare of the animals that pass through here at all.

Love this place, small, but packed with reptiles, amphibians and small mammals. Im from LA and will not miss visiting every time Im in Vegas. Staff is friendly and corteous, will help with any exotic pet need. I wish the little marmosets were for sale, lol....

Honestly never had a bad experience with this place. Came here often to but food and bedding for my guinea pigs.

We bought two 11 week old ferrets from here had them exactly 14 days, now their policy says 10 days for health guarantee, but I rushed my baby in today to find out he was sick and probably had been. So I bought a sick ferret. I was told sorry get ahold of Marshall’s. This was a ridiculous thing to say! My baby had to be put to sleep cause he was suffering. I’m upset that this place gave me a sick ferret. They need to keep them at least 2 weeks for quarantine to make sure they’re not sick.

I have been going here since 95ish? 3 locations, same amount of care and conscientiousness for their business and they always have sweet kitties to pet!
