I was excited to visit West Elm, due to its affiliation with Williams Sonoma. The store contained overpriced and cheaply made furniture. It might be ok for a dorm room or bachelor pad, but not for a home.We were much more pleased with the selections at Crate and Barrel across the street. The furniture was of a much higher quality and their sales staff were exceptional.
West Elm was my to go to store until I my last order. I ordered a chair that was supposed to be shipped to store to cut down on 149.00 shipping fee, the sales person I worked with, Tony encouraged this process, which turned out to be nothing but confusion, disappointments, a cancellation of chair and attitude from Tony at the Summerlin store who felt he didnt have to deal with me any longer after he completed the sales transaction, which were his exact words. I was very disappointed in him and his unprofessionalism, especially after Ive worked with him at least five other large purchases. I had no idea where my chair was and I had to do all the leg work to find chair by calling several times to the furniture warehouse, when in fact it was stores responsibly to follow up and be there(open) to except my chair delivery on the day of arrival. This ordeal was a total mess and the chair was paid for prior to delivery! Ill never shop at West Elm located in Summerlin again! Bad customer service, with the exception of the manager Sara, shes the only person that actually tried, but unsuccessfully solved the delivery issues.
I love West Elm! So much. In fact, I have a dining room table, two rugs, and a bunch of other things from the company.I always expect to go into this location to find inspiration and help, but the people that work here are so standoffish, and never talk to you.Little do they know, I’m looking to spend money. As Julia Roberts said in Pretty Woman, “Big Mistake. Huge.”
Overly eager staff wants you out the door as soon as possible.
I love this West Elm. I miss the outlet, but glad that some of the staff moved over to this location. They are always very helpful.
Horrible place to buy a couch.Purchased a $3k sectional from West Elm Oct/Nov 2020. It’s March 9th 2021 and I still have not received the couch.Called customer service but they have no idea where the sectional is. They reached out to their supplier and no answer.DON NOT BUY big items from here.
Wow I can’t even believe these employees make commission. 3 Employees standing around talking. Not one greeted us the entire time, same to all the other customers who were walking around. We asked for help and they were all reluctant to step in. Went to check out, said we would come back to buy it instead of doing it online so that he could get commission. He replied “don’t worry about it, the item is only $150 anyway.” West Elm is a great store, the employees need some training.
Great place to shop for your new home, they have very tasteful items and very luxury products. It’s pricy but well worth it.
Placed an order to buy furniture with West Elm through their website at evening time, and realized I had the wrong items ordered. Called the customer service the next day early in the morning to cancel the purchase, initially they said they can not cancel the order, then after an hour discussion I was told they will be cancelled with full return. As I was waiting for my return on my bank account I received a text message stating my items are ready to be delivered. I called the customer service and they said there is nothing they can do about it and I will have to pay for the furniture. Then I called again after 2 hr, they cancelled the items but charged me for the shipping costs. Purchase amount was returned to my credit card except for the shipping cost. A week after this a truck stopped by and said they have items to be delivered. The chair I cancelled 2 times and with confirmation that it is cancelled. Terrible company and customer service, very disorganized . Will never shop from WEST ELM and their parent company WILLIAM SONOMA.

I made an appointment to come in based off what was required on the website. When I showed up I was barely greeted by two employees talking about there personal lives and I saw at least half a dozen employees just standing around chatting while I was shopping. I did not see the items I was interested in the store but the employees were too busy in there own conversation to help me with my questions. I ended up going to the Crate and Barrel next door to buy my new furniture. I am new to the area and needed to furnish an entire home so I had a lot of questions and was very disappointed in the service I received here.

Love this store, location. However, some of there staff looks at you as if you dont belong there, one girl bypassed me without eye contact or asking if I needed assistance. so I went to someone else in the store who assisted me in purchasing great bedding spent $600 in the store and used daughter discount.People need to be very careful on how they treat people who they assumed dont look the part, it will cause a law suit of discrimination. Train your staff West Elm!
Cool new store, but be careful when using their promotional plan. The store promised 6 months with NO interest to open a new charge card. They forgot to enroll me in the plan as promised. Fast-Forward 2 months and I found I was being charged 28% interest. I tried to politely dispute these charges but was denied by their credit servicing company. Be careful. I would NOT use their credit card service...big rip-off!
West Elm, Summerlin is the best!! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I just moved to Las Vegas from Los Angeles and I have gone to West Elm Summerlin 3 times within 3 days! Always walking out with something new and honestly cannot wait to go back! I am sure if it wasnt for the staff I would not want to go back!
I love their modern furniture. It is really expensive but really good quality. Shipping can take forever if it is on back order and can be expensive if you live far away from their warehouses.
Neri is the best employee there! He even set up my nightstand! Super nice guy will be coming back for more furniture and accessories.
With the help of the sales personnel, they made furniture shopping a easy experience. We are very proud with the decision of buying the furniture here!
My daughter ordered a very expensive couch and has not received it after 6 months! To add insult to injury today on her birthday she just received notice that it’s delayed AGAIN so it will be 7-8 months to received one couch!! I would have given zero stars but that’s not allowed on this web site #WestElm_Vegas_Sucks
Interesting option for cheaper furniture. I found a sectional that worked well for an odd spot in my office.
