I had an incredible date night cooking class. Apparently we were the only ones who signed up so we ended up having a private class. The chef was so knowledgeable and funny. The food was all perfectly portioned and I learned a ton of new techniques. The gadgets they used were super helpful and time saving so my hubby and I purchased some after class. It was such an awesome and delicious experience. We will be back!
I did the Make & Take Ramen from scratch cooking class. The chef seemed really nice and extremely knowledgeable. I will say I do wish the class focused more on making the broth than making the noodles but the chef explained how its impossible to make a good broth in two hours. So maybe they can do a class thats maybe 4 hours so people can learn to do both .Either way, this was a fun and beat thing to do and Ill be back later today for the Dumplings/Potstickers class. The photos that Im posting are from the ramen class
I was hooked from the moment I took my first cooking class! The chefs and their assistants are incredibly friendly, the kitchen is very clean and organized, and I love how the chefs share their experiences with cooking methods and techniques. Ive been learning so much from each class that Im inspired to cook more often and share what Ive learned with my family and friends.Additionally, the classes have been such a great outlet from my busy work schedule and I feel comfortable attending alone because its a friendly environment in a group setting. If you enjoy learning, eating, and being creative youll thoroughly enjoy the cooking classes.πPic of Chef Keith teaching Restaurant Style Ramen
Cooking class was alot of fun and this is coming from someone who never cooks. Ask for a class with Chef Kendall if you are looking to not only cook a good meal but to have a good experience.
Went into Sur La Table to pick up a ceramic pan with my fiancee, and little did we know what an amazing experience it would be due to one of the team, Wesley. We learned more about pans, caring for them and cooking in 5-10 minutes speaking to him then if we took an online class. It was SUPER informative and we arent inexperienced when it comes to cooking. It was such a great experience that we were compelled to write a review and thank him for being such a wealth of knowledge and just being excellent at what he does. Thank you Wesley! Cheers.
It couldve been worse...busy but a gentleman called Marc appeared and satisfied.. all inquiries attended to all concerns rectified. cheers
I love all the cooking supplies. They also have cooking classes.
Horrible, horrible, horrible service. Sales associates have no interest in helping clients. Arrogant stuff. Hope the corporate takes notice!!!
Easy to find most items, some stuff out of stock
My husband and I attended a date night cooking class on January 3rd 2020. We arrived 15 minutes early and stood by the entrance to the cooking area. During that 15 minute time frame, not one person greeted us, asked if we could be helped, or inquired to why we were there. A worker passed by me twice at the entrance and literally said nothing to me.When the class started we found out that we had to cook with another couple. We found this to be rather annoying. The gentleman of the couple we were paired with kept taking over. We talked to another couple in our class later who experienced the same problem. For $158, you would think that you would not be paired with strangers and have to share what you were preparing. We did learn a few things and the food was delicious (although a little skimpy). I would not return there. I will try another company out.
They are keeping a good social distance in the store and I enjoyed shopping thanks to friendly staff.
Had lots of Kitchen stuff to pick from...
Cooking class was so much fun. The food we cooked was amazing. Made it again at home the following weekend. So Yummy!
This is the third cooking class I have taken there. All three were very enjoyable way to spend a Sunday with my wife. Two hour class on Thai cooking. We signed up for two more classes.Classes are reasonably priced.
Im always warmly greeted when I walk in the store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are a bit high, but I believe that is in part due to the fact that they sell quality products. If I need a specialty item or ingredient, chances are they have it. The store is always neat, clean, and organzied.
Cooking class: Its required that you cook with a group of four. Thats uncomfortable and NOT fun when youre forced to be in close proximity to people you dont know. A cooking class should be a fun girls night out or a romantic date night. Instead we had an unhappy stranger pushed on us (they were a group of 5 friends) and although we tried to be polite, it was odd. I was there with my two daughters....and a stranger. Not cool. Wont return.
Not so friendly service, probably would have been treated better if we were wearing mink coats
Took a macaron making class with my mom and sister. Had a great time.
:::BEWARE::: Β Took my Shun and Global knives here to be sharpened. I picked them up and they were ruined. Huge sctatch marks throughout the knives, beautiful knives destroyed. Over $600 in knives that now look terrible. I have always gone to Jays sharpening with beautiful results, go there instead. Stay away from Sir La Table for knife sharpening.
I do not live in las Vegas anymore but I was visiting family and they decided to stop here for a few hours. we had just got back for England and were comparing prices at this kitchen store when I came across an espresso machine. There was still grounds in it and I wanted to dump them out because thats disgusting. The lady working there came up and asked me what I was doing if I need help and not in a friendly way. So rude I asked if maybe they had Bosch products and still got a snappy reply. I have worked barista on nicer machines lady. Its so nice with great offers on classes but if her rudeness is there I will pass.
Sometimes there are really good deals here and you can find some helpful kitchen tools around the store.
Had a fabulous cooking class! Going back for more, Friendlyβ, knowledgeable staff and beautiful store layout.
Very over priced..
Usually I like there products though a bit over priced, but I guess for the location thats what you get. Sunday I showed @ 10 when they said theyd be open. 30 min. Late someone showed to open. Another 30 min. Wait for them to open. So much for a wasted hour.
I am so excited to practice what I learned in my Sushi cooking class. Great interactive Head Chef and amazingly friendly SU Chefs. First time here and I will definitely return! I still dont know if they say Sir la Taa-ble like in Southpark hahaha
Pricey but worth it
Need something for your kitchen? Youll find it here. I could spend hours and lots of money here.
Rude staff, worst customer service ever, old white lady with really bad manners, 3 workers walking around the store like zombies
Love the location and the serviceππ½ππ½
Great selection of kitchen utensils
Loved the experience.
