Take advantage of senior citizens. Luckily Ive convinced my neighbor never to go here again. Replaced fuel pump, but didnt replace the filter, replaced battery even though it wasnt that old and probably under warranty, car still wasnt starting, so it was a not our problem, go take it somewhere else and pay more money.

Best service Ive gotten, Christmas eve they were supposed to close early and go home but they stayed to ensure that my vehicle was safe to drive. Low and behold my brake caliper bolt was missing as well as my rear tires lug nuts were loose .These guys are well worth it for all they have done for me. Much appreciation for the customer service from Nick, Steven, and Tony.they know there stuff.

These guys are good. I recommend this place. I needed a new battery in my BMW. Its not just putting a new one in, but it also needs to be registered or programed into the system by an OBD2 Scanner. This isnt always easy. There were some issues but they were able to get it corrected and really came through for me. Mike was great and the sales and parts guys were very helpful. Thanks again, Guys.

I went in and asked for thermostat housing and hose on top replaced. They charged me 689.00. Then told me blown head gasket needed 10 days to work on it and another 3,300 . I got my neighbor to change radiator for 120.00 and I bought part online for about 100.00 plus lifetime guarantee. Car no longer over heats been fine 2 weeks and had it checked at Midas who also confirmed no blown head gasket car is fine.

TERRIBLE! So far...Brought my sons Subaru in for an oil change. Just an oil,change and thy rotated the tires even after we told them we had all four tires installed less than a week ago. They said it was standard thing. After a couple of days we returned from a road trip in LA...we got a flat. We had a hard time removing the tire. One lug nut bolt broke and a second lug nut was crossed-threaded. I remember watching the the guy at Pep Boys using only the pneumatic drill to remove and reinstall our tires. I did not see a torque wrench used. Anyways, I was able to patch the tire and put it back on the car with only three lug nuts. I will be heading back to Pep Boys this week to see if they will repair the mess they made. Stay tuned!WOW! After publicly complaining on website and giving a 1 Star rating...Pep Boys Management contacted me to remedy the problems. A few phone calls later and a few days later...I met with the Manager Danny at the shop on Charleston and they took my sons Subaru back in to repair the damaged bolts and checked out all four wheels for good measure. I had to wait over an hour and a half for the parts to arrive but when it was done...It was done at no cost to me. I am hoping the job was done well as I did not actually see this repair done with my own two eyes. I guess I will have to drive some miles on the wheels and pray for no further problems. Until then...I am giving them a 4 Star rating. Thank you Danny and Pep Boys!

LIARS AND CON ARTISTS! Avoid this place! Took my 97 grand marquis in to install 2 aftermarket parts to fix a stalling problem, was given estimate of $300. Dropped car off and they called later and said the intake manifold I gave them was defective (never said why)?! Quoted me $750 for a new one from a Ford dealer; after I refused they somehow found one for $250? When I came to pick up the car the bill came to $850 ($100 more than $750 new estimate)?! Wait it gets better! Drove it off and the next day it OVERHEATED after 2 miles?! Towed it back there and was told I needed a new thermostat; there was one (defective) included with the defective manifold that I think they installed and didnt test! Then they LIED and said there wasnt one in the manifold assembly box I gave them?! THERE WAS I remember checking the parts in the box! So another $180 charge later I drove it home again, totaling more than triple the original estimate, over $1000!? WAIT theres more! The next morning found a puddle of coolant under the engine!? Took it back again and was told I have a warped cylinder head cover!? Asked for an estimate to fix, they said theyd call, never got one. I drove off and said forget it Ill keep adding coolant as I need it. Talked to the actual store manager and she said its because I ignored the check engine light for so long?! WHAT?! The codes for the CE light were for O2 sensors nothing to do with cylinder heads?! Great job Pep Boys of training your folks to be CON ARTISTS and jack up the charges! So I traded one problem for another.

I came in to take care of my beautiful 2011 Mustang I had a little oil leak but I had been procrastinating getting its 90000 maintenance I scheduled the have my car brought in at 10 oclock on a week day and they had finished it by 5 oclock that evening not only do they do all the stuff I asked for but there was a few things That I was aware of like my shocks in my back and My brakes which I thought was in the front but ended up being my Back..Dan C. Was and is an exceptional mechanic to get all the work done then I wanted in less than 7 hours. Customer service was excellent Mike and Jim were both the people I Dealt with a and they were both nice to me let me know how my car was doing ask me For approval prior to doing anything else on my car.. But this is my baby and I wanted her well taking care of.. I brought her to the right Pep Boys.. To top all this off I was concerned how I was gonna get back there since all my coworkers had already gone home so I suggested that I was needing to take a bus which I havent done in 16 years and Jim was the one that said oh no will be having lyft come and get you.. For FREE.. After seeing my bill I notice that they made some adjustments and did some discounts so I end up paying less than agreed and got that free ride I rode around in her all day today and I it cannot believe the difference that this maintenance on my vehicle had done thanks to all you guys in the shop at Pep Boys on East Charleston you guys deserve more than 5 stars and you know your stuff and my black beauties back out on the road

I was thrilled with the service I received here. I got a new set of tires plus installation, an oil change, and windshield wipers. I asked for some other things too but it turned out I did not need them. They gave me a bunch of coupons and deals, too, which really brought the price down, and they did all of it very quickly, even though I did not have an appointment. There was a plastic piece hanging behind my passenger front tire. I went in and they looked at it. They popped the engine splash guard back into place and didn’t charge. I had them change my oil. Excellent customer service from James and Adam.

Went into PEPBOYS in search of a particular window cleaning product. Searched, then inquired. The first person to ask if I needed help was the Mgr. After looking for himself, he said he could possibly help me in my search. Waited awhile (since he was THE ONLY) person available and was answering calls as well as helping customers, HE WENT ABOVE the norm to find my product. AWESOME, friendly and willing to assist. I am reviewing two visits. The first was in August, 2016, and Christmas Eve 2016. The first time was tire service along with a standard oil change. The tire service was good - but they tacked on a premium $60 oil change that was not asked for - I had requested the standard service at $19.99. On Christmas Eve, taking advantage of the courtesy check engine soon diagnostic, the highly SURLY service manager demanded hed only tell me what the results were if I gave him $90 for a full diagnostic. Up yours, Pep Boys.

Terrible guy who works the automotive shop counter, gives me issues every single time I go in there . When I deal with anybody else theres no problem. I needed a simple oil change and had all my documents yet I still have to make phone calls and jump through hoops because he has some attitude problem . I went with my brother to get my radiator and thermostat fixed and Blake was nice enough to give us discount on the service but the work that was put into it was horrible and made it worst on my car. The labor that we paid for them to fix my car is not even close to the amount that we paid for them to do the work. The parts are around less than 200 dollars and the labor that they charged us is around 400 and the outcome of the service is just unacceptable. I think what we pay for the labor is for them to do an exceptional service and not make my car more worst than before. I put so much trust on Pep Boys with my car and they just lost my trust and doing business with them.

Charges $800 dollars for a brake job that took 4 days, misplaced half the brackets in my vehicles brake system. Front pads were replaced again 2 months later by an independent for $100. Staff was not helpful. One person worked the price down from $950 after refusing to allow me to take my van elsewhere due to it being unsafe. I never had a problem like this with wheel works. Incomplete work. Over priced. Uncompensated for wasted time. Incompetent Mechanix. Recommended you avoid this pep boys for the safety of yourself, your family, your vehicle, & your wallet. I am a 100% disabled Vietnam vet and I am newly full time in a wheelchair. I normally buy all my service needs from the dealer I purchased my Ford F150 from. Today, I noticed that, once again, my wiper blades had melted to the windshield! !Not wanting to go all the way to the auto show mall, I pulled into my local Pepboys at 3995 east Charleston in Vegas and explained that it is very difficult, in 105 degree heat, to get out, hobble to the reR, lower the chair, etc. just to purchase wipers then struggle to get them on, then struggle to get the chair back on the lift, and then struggle to get back into my truck.EnterAnjellika the service representative. She was surprisingly good natured, told me no problem and then took my card, purchased the proper wipers, brought out my receipt, installed them and sent me on my way with a big smile because, other only was she fast, friendly and effective, I was only charged HALF of what the dealer normally charges but I was given a 10 percent veterans discount as well! !Great job Pepboys, you made a customer for life!Rev. My gf swung by here because it was suspected that her alternator was bad. Places like this usually test it, and they didnt fail on that front. They verified that it definitely isnt good and her battery was all that was operating the car. Why not get a price just to see what replacing would cost, right? OMG! They quoted her 591.26 for an alternator and serpentine belt replacement. They claim on the on invoice I have in hand that labor alone is 163.35. Im a mechanically inclined individual and do a lot of my own work. Upon looking into what it would take to do the job, it would take a monkey less than an hour to do the job. Book time is literally 1 hour, but someone who does mechanical work regularly, less than a half hour. $311.96 for parts? I quoted $180 for both at ORiellys. $163.35 for labor? Laughable! $62.77 for Other? Really? This place will try to jip you. Do your homework before getting anything done here. Dang shame!

Im disappointed because I asked about getting my transmission fluid changed, Andrew explained to me that they couldnt do it because my mileage was 120k. Then I asked if they could take a quick look at a rattling noise, there were 4 mechanics literally sitting there and Andrew advised me it would be $20.00. I asked, just to look at it? He said, yes, we have to pay the guy for his time.Jose did actually go outside to try to change my rear window blade and apologized for the mechanics not helping me.The only reason I gave one star is because I couldnt post my review without doing that.

Brought my rear 2 hubs assembly to get the wheels bearings replace, on a Friday. They told me it would be done by Sunday, didnt receive a call, I call Monday and they didnt even started with them. They told me at 5:30pm should be finished. Again they couldnt perform the job, couldnt remove 14mm bolts from the hub, I came home and removed then right away in ten minutes, while watching TV Lol .....only reason why I even bother with pepeboys in this location was to safe time, but I ended up wasting 4 days, I could have finished my car by now. A list of things that they have managed to mess up:Tire rotation (did not rotate)Lost my oil cap in my engine (did not tell me, just put a new one in and let me find it on my own)Told me I needed new brakes when I did notAnd lastly I got my tire rods and ball joints replaced August 2016. Today my car is making popping sounds driving anywhere. Take it to a mechanic and what do you know? Pep boys you forgot to put on the secondary clamps on BOTH of my rods!! Costing me at least another $400 in repair, thats just them guessing based on what Ive told them. I paid $800+ to Pepboys for them to mess up my car.Considering a lawsuit in all honesty.

Got a battery for my wifes car here brought it home and checked it in the car and found the problem was the starter. The store would not refund the battery purchase. My vehicle was towed in for a new water pump possibly radiator hose. They called me and it was going to cost $1500. They told me the water pump was leaking heater hoses leaking, serpentine belt cracked, drive belt cracked, and needed new radiator hoses. Mind you the serpentine belt & driver belt are the same. I only have 1 belt. My van was picked up 2nd tow. It went to the dealership (usually they are highway robbery), but Pep boys clearly tried to rob me. Dealership called me and told me waterpump, coolant, thermostat $687 no cracks in belts, driver belt and serpentine belt are one in the same. Then they charged my daughters cc twice for coolant service and when I called I spoke with Jim said we had to call cc company and dispute the second charge. I thought Pep Boys had changed their ways, I was so wrong.

Simply DISHONEST. I went there today for an oil change, when the mechanic called me to show me other problems with my car, when he tells me that my brake cap was missing. Funny, is that I was there about 2 months ago and had a tune up and power fluid repair done, and that was the last time the hood of my car was opened, so I know they lost it and I failed to check their work after leaving them. Today, after they finished with the oil change and they sent me away, I decided to pop the hood to make sure things were done properly when I discovered that they left a huge dent on my hood from closing it too hard. They are DISHONEST because whoever did that shouldve told me that they left a huge dent on my hood instead of watching me drive away. I am only leaving one star instead of zero because the ladies who deals with the costumer service were spot on. I am not going back there and dont recommend them to anyone else.

They are absolute scammers. Or they just plain don’t know what the hell they’re talking about. They lied to me about my light bulbs being good so that they could charge $100+ dollars just to run a fuse diagnostic. Luckily the guy who does that went home for the day so I didn’t do it. Took it to te Meineke on Bonanaza and Nellis, where I should’ve taken it first since they’ve done good work for me in the past, and they told me the light bulbs were bad, nothing electrical or wrong with the fusing. Replacing the lightbulbs was so much more cheaper than having to deal with fake electrical problems. Ridiculous that people justify scamming you just to make more money. Take it to the Meineke on Bonanza and Nellis. Extremely honest people and Mike is the man.

Workers are nice, took my car in (19july) because it kept dying and would not hold a charge. They replaced the battery but said the smell I smelt was the cars gas valve. Decided we would fix that. They said they needed to keep it overnight they wouldnt be able to finish fixing it on time. Friday morning was told they needed to order the part, would be fixed Saturday. On Saturday was told they were given the wrong part and wouldnt be able to fix it until Monday since Ford was closed on Sunday. Totally understood. We are now at Monday (23july it is 5:30 pm) and its STILL not going to be fixed today. The reason I am unsure. Which has grown ridiculous, Ive been 4 days without a car and have had to lyft EVERYWHERE which mind you is not cheap. Ive had to purchase a rental and extend it as of today because going back and forth with lyft is too much. Ive spent $80 on left and now a little over $120 on the rental because of the sucky turn around. Nice guys, turn around is ridiculous though. And honestly, I doubt this car will be fixed at all once this is all over.Update 25july2018: got my car back and is running great. Was worried that since it was sitting in the sun that the battery would be damaged again. But again the work on the car was great.

When we discovered an antifreeze leak, we brought it to this store. They told us it was a water pump issue, and it would be a three hour job. Three hours shrunk to an hour and a half. The mechanic even took it for a test run to make sure everything was good. Sadly, than turned into a gasket leak at the intake manifold. Since the store was closing, they kept the truck over night and gave us a ride home. They then showed up on easter Sunday to finish the work and had our truck ready Monday morning. One of the associates came to our house to pick us up so that we could get the truck back. Could not ask for a better team of people to work on our truck.

I ordered parts here and mistakenly ordered 6 lug rotors and drums so i needed to correct it. All the other parts were in store but 1 rotor which was told to me to be delivered the next morning by 11. My wife went to pick up the parts the next day in the afternoon and the rotor wasnt there AND now the spring kit for the drums had mysteriously never been there even though i had it in hand the day before. If youre going to use customers parts in your service department, dont bs with people that have actually taken the time to verify the parts. Liars...

DO NOT GO in there for car repair. It will be a total deficits. You can buy parts and extra stuff in the store but i highly advice you dont make any car repair. First of all, they heller expansive. Second, im pretty sure they have no clue how to repairs lots of problem. My car was over heated. i took it over to their shop. They asked me for 800 dollar repairs which i did not have. They called me on the phone. Your car has been fixed i came over took my car with a big smile on my face before i even make it home my car was in total mess and they totally f++k one my head light. I try to stay calm. I took it back without being angry cause i needed to replace those damm lights anyway. Left it in their care. I got another phone called your car as been fixed there shouldnt be any more problem. Oh this story could go on and on but for the sake of this you got my points, and on top of that an extra 300 bucks. So make the calculation and rethink about where you wanna get your car repairs ✌ if that still doesnt sounds too convincing read other reviews as well. Maybe that will change your mind. The employees are cool but the Mechanics..Need schooling. They sucks.

I was in Vegas from out of town in 100+ degree heat when my AC went out. Took my car in first thing in the morning and it was finished by 1 pm. They had to remove my entire front bumper as well as get the hose they needed for my AC from a different dealer. Thanks Jared, Rafael, and Roger. You guys worked hard to get me on the road when time was an issue.

Pep Boys3995 W Charleston. Las Vegas NVWorst customer service from service manager Brian.Brought my car in on several occasions for EGR valve replacement. First one and second one failed. After determining that intake leading to valve needs cleaned (suggested previously by me but not done), appointment was set for following week so he could clear out prior work and get right to it.Went for appt, shop was closed due to door malfunction. Rescheduled following mornings do told would receive a call if the doors were opened so didnt waste a trip. No call, I called and Brian advised my info had been erased in the system so he couldnt call. When I came in he asked for my phone # and had no problem finding me...Drop off car at 8 am, call shop at 5 pm to inquire status. Talk to Phil. They havent started it yet. Had an engine he had to do firstWait, what?I raised my voice, why was my car not done and why was I not informed? Was told would start in the morning very calmly by Phil after I just yelled at him. Good job Phil, sorry bout that.Flash forward to noon today.Called for status. Tt Brian. They havent started yet. Still had to finish that engine and had a transmission they had to do which they were sent the wrong part.Advised made appt a week ago to clear out previous work. Heated again. Why was my car not touched yet and why was I not informed? I had to get these other jobs done and we were sent wrong parts. That doesnt change fact I was not notified that a 4 hour job would take 2 days.You know what, come get your car and take it to another Pep Boys and he hung up on me.Called back for number and name of regional mgr.Brian : this the guy w/ the Saturn? Come get your car NOW or it will be towedMe: Whats the name and number for your regional mgr?1800PepBoysCalled back to advise Im taking a bus and would be there in 1 1/2 hrs. He said ok and would inform his mgr what has transpired in the last 2 weeks of me coming there.From the time he came to that store every time he spoke he had an excuse for why things werent done right before he got there and how he was brought in to change it.They didnt do this, they did that, the system is messed up, someone deleted your info. While there on 2 occasions customers would complain when he left the room.The general complaints were stop making excuses and get it done!Ive never been treated so poorly by a person representing a company.To tell a man w clearly visible physical limitations that we talked about when you told me of your wifes back issues... that his car will be towed unless you pick it up NOW.Nice. Thank you for reminding me that every place of employment is not like mine.Steer clear of Pep Boys on Charleston, Las Vegas NV

Overfilled my oil. Told me I did it. Then told me the leak was fixed. It wasnt. Cooperate doesnt hold them accountable. Stay away from Pep Boys all together.
