It was a big Asian store with variety of stuff from different Asian countries. Such as China, Philippines, Korea. Produced seem fresh and they have live fish for sale. There’s a ready made Chinese food for sale and an awesome bakery inside as well. You really can’t ask for anything else. You should be able to find what you need in this store. We are definitely coming back. :)We really enjoy finding all the Asian stores here in Las Vegas. As I mentioned we will come back. Second time we came at 9am just to more bread and pastries they were not ready. The shelves was empty. When I asked I was told 30 minutes everything will be set up. We waited 1 hour nothing. I asked again to see if they would have a danish out. Nothing so disappointed.
I came to this Asian grocery store while trying to find another place. I’m glad that I went here. The prices here are much more lower than Greenland and their selection of frozen and fresh meat is well stocked. I came here to get fried tofu, and found some frozen fish I haven’t had since my trip to Philippines. And they had potato flour. I searched 3 different Asian stores and they either didn’t carry the product or they didn’t have any stocked. The cashier was pleasant too.
Organized, clean Asian grocery including their restaurant area. Good and freshly cooked food, good flavor specially not too salty is what we love. We usually eat lunch here before we do our grocery shopping. Good, fresh fruits and reasonable price. We loved their freshly baked cupcakes with different flavors for the whole year last year which made us go to this place every week to purchase it but they no longer baked it. They have cupcakes now baked from California bakery not as good as their own, beyond comparison and cost more. We usually go to this store at 230p to make sure we get the hot, fresh from the oven delicious cupcakes. Im very disappointed when they stopped baking it, HOPE the store will bake the cupcakes Again in the premises. We miss your cupcakes sooo much, bring them back please.
There’s so much to love about 168 Market. The vegetables are always amazing. Fresh fish still swimming in tanks await your selection. Tons of authentic Asian food. My favorite place to grocery shop in all of Las Vegas.
Much cleaner store these days. Lots of variety of Asian food. The hot food court is fantastic. BBQ duck is the favorite.
Looking for Asian products, especially from China, Taiwan, Malaysia, even Japan? I go here a few times a week. I dunno for how much longer, but the prices are nice on the wallet. Their Chinese delicatessen takeout food has improved too.
Nice variety of Asian food and grocery plenty of room to move around, no problem with social distancing.
3-Item LARGE MEAL w/soup for $8 only!
Good variety of Asian foods. Mostly Chinese though and the fresh produce is not good - mostly GMO
Love the seafood, seaweed paper and rice. We visit here often.
I love this market. Also, the to-go food was good. Primarily, I go there for fresh tofu, fish, other fresh seafood, and duck (though frozen, but you can notice it hasnt been there for a year). The only reason I dont give them another star is the parking... I hope you are very patient and prepared for the worst parking ever.
I love shopping here they have the best fish in the world
Fresh seafood very nice staff clean and cook your fish for you. Any seafood you can imagine and good prices.
Variety of produce is better than other Asian grocery.
This is not a bad Market I dont usually shop at Asian markets but I must say this one is very nice to staff is really helpful and friendly and they have everything you can think of
Cleaner than most Asian/Ethnic grocery stores. Huge variety of produce at very reasonable prices. They need to do a better job at removing the rotten ones in the shelves and boxes though and immediately mark down ones that have minor blemishes or overripe fruits to avoid food waste.
Various foods, fresh vegetables, and low prices are good.
Wow! Authentic as they come for Asian markets! Live fish tanks, great selection of various Asian countries, and surprisingly decent prices. Really fun to walk around and see what they have!
Asian super market, plenty of fresh seafood and vegetables. Didnt find any Korean BBQ meat though, but they do have some really good pork for grilling.
Good place to shop .we like the ginger chicken we buy the whole chicken for 6.39$.
Excellent place. The service is tense but very good. The associates here are efficient. I had extreme difficulty in finding specific products here, but thats how it goes.
Good mushroom collection. Good priced and fresh.
Large Asian supermarket with large selection. They have pretty good specials on their meat from time to time but the live fish is more expensive than their competitors. Good selection of Asian vegetables. Store is clean. You have to spray disinfectant and wipe down the shopping cart yourself at the store entrance.
I ate at the food court and tried an assortment of dim sum. I had high hopes coming in for the first time.Everything was cold even though they were in steamers and sitting under heat lamps. The fried dim sum tasted like it’s been sitting out for awhile. It was chewy and not crispy. The steamed shrimp dumpling might have came from a bag and thawed. The chicken feet was the only acceptable thing. I wish they had hot oil, but the only thing available were Sriracha packets. The store itself had a great selection of East Asian condiments, sauces, spices, and seasonings. Their ramen selection is pretty good too.
We always stop in when traveling from Utah now. It was one of our favorite grocery stores in the LV Valley when we lived there. Great prices...
Good place to shop for Chinese grocery. Besides they have a very convenient food court for Chinese food to order to go or dine in. Such as roast duck, dim sum. This place is very busy and you may have to park far from the market. They can prepare the fish the way you wanted and have free fish frying service. The price is reasonable. They offer membership card but the benefits is very minimum and may not worth your time. I do recommend them to remodel the bathrooms which is less desirable.
This store has everything we are looking for. Love it!
Go to this place at least once or twice a month. This place has a lot of oriental foods and their deli selection is tasty and they give a lot. Price is really reasonable. Wish they would expand this store. Aisles should be wider for handicap.
A perfect place to buy Asians food
It was a great market. The place is clean and neat.
Good market you can buy multiple food
Its the Asian market to go to in Las Vegas. It has good selections.. It even have live seafood to purchase. There is a bakery too not to mention a take out place to buy take out food and BBQ duck,BBQ port etc..But the BBQ stuff is not as good as BBQ king down the street. I have to go to BBQ King to buy my BBQ duck, pork and roast pig.
I love this store, it has great variety, great prices, all kinds of exotic produce that you dont see everyday, also all kinds of exotic marinades and spices, more fish than Ive ever seen in one place at one time, lots of live fish, they even have the wonderful pork belly I like with skin and bone, I would actually like to give the store five stars except for the customers and the location are a very challenging issue when you are shopping here, you have to be extremely careful that you dont get ran over in the parking lot and in the store do not come here expecting to have much personal space
Great Asian market for all of your needs! Has a wonderful variety of each product, and great weekly sales as well! IMO, slightly lower prices than the other popular Asian market chain that also has numbers in its name 😉
This was my second time shopping at this store and I found this market to be a great place in the I was not so impressed with the service in the beginning, but thought maybe it was just a stressful time for the employees because of this pandemic. A friend of mine told me that they have a lot of variety, and the prices are very, very reasonable. I live in Silverado Ranch, so this was kind of a drive for me. However, right after it was announced over the PA system that the store will be closing in 15 minutes, an employee started telling customers in the produce department (myself included), to stop shopping. This area is really close to the check out counters, just as a reference. He walked up to me as I am bagging my green onions and told me to put it back, because they are “closed;” and I cannot grab another produce or merchandise anymore; and that I head straight to the register. He was very blunt and unseemly, that I almost lost it on him. I felt very harassed. I was not planning on lingering, and he could have asked professionally and/or nicely. The way I was spoken to made me feel as if, “it was a privilege to even be there.” Maybe it is not a big deal to this employee, and perhaps most of you reading this, but spending $119 in a market during a pandemic, is a lot for me. I am all for supporting local and smaller businesses rather than big box stores, that is why I went here. Maybe management should monitor their employees more. Unless this is their policy, then I rest my case. I do not recommend spending your hard earned money here. This sort of behavior from an employee just screams, “We do not need your money.” If you find this person’s behavior to be vindicated, then by all means this place is great. If you feel otherwise, then, I do not recommend spending your time and money here.
One of the many Taiwan, Vietnam, Thai, China food you can find here.
Great variety of Asian fruit and vegetables.
Great place to pick up roast duck at 8 am ... Easy parking friendly staff
Loved my Autumn Spanish Persimmons. So sweet and very large ones too. Albertsons charges $1.99 for one and they are small and dirty looking. At 168 market theyre 99c a lb, big gorgeous, clean very sweet persimmons. Like eating a sweet globe of sugar canes. So enticing.
Overall OK to shop however always seems they need more cashiers
This is a wonderful store. You can get fresh meats and seafood. A large selection of Asian foods, and a hot deli where you can buy prepared meals of your choice. Produce of any kind. The people there are very friendly. If you sign up for their store card, youll get points on every item you buy.Check it out you will have fun!!!
A very good place to go. Check out the meat and seafood sections as well as the produce. Things you can’t get at a regular grocery store. I also love the roasted duck.
Although a little small and can get quite congested at certain times, the produce and meat are pretty good and prices are reasonable. I go for their fish, fruits and the food court. Some areas feel as if you are actually in a southern Asian village market overseas (minus the outdoor tropical humidity and little flying bugs ) but overall great experience 👍😂
$-Asian market with reasonable prices.
If you don’t look like them, speak their language don’t go to this grocery market. I walked up and said hello the lady who rang me up at the register completely ignored me. But had a full blown conversation with the woman and child behind me who spoke their language, all this woman said to me was thank you. She absolutely speaks English, rude people. Will never go there again!.
Great to have them fry my fish instead of My house having to smell like fish!
They have the best milk coconut butter bread in the world!!! Dont forget to drop by their bakeshop.
Very clean, I ate there had Duck it was delicious.
Growing up in Los Angeles. I have been accustomed to Asian markets, the staff and people who shop there. To Asians. Especially 1st generation asians. Shopping is war. War not in the sense of guns, but with fingers pointing and people yelling. The only real difference between a night market in Taiwan beside the abundent amount of aroma from the stinky tofu that waffles down the alley way, is the haggling. No sir, no haggling at 168.Just a indoor wet market of live seafood, where you can get your fish fried, though I rarely trust the oil that is left over from the thousands of fish fry that have occured. Old fashion type of meat market where you can get your ribs, band sawed the way you want. Just as long you speak the 2 magical language at the store. Chinese or Spanish. But the secret sign language of charades also work, And a array of produce 7 hours old from transport from the ports of Los Angeles from tropical unknowns. Just learn the ways of jedi masters of fruit picking of how to smack, pat and smell if your fruit is ripe. Now comparative to Asian supermarkets where in Los Angeles, 99 ranch is king. 168 runs supreme here in Vegas.
Very good price and ffresh vegetales
Good Asian market. Like most in the area its super crowded and needs more staff.
I can always find what Im looking for here, and the restaurant has great food
Very good place. Second best Asian market in Las Vegas that Ive seen (though I think branch on Maryland is bigger and slightly better). My personal opinion, Shuf Fat (? Vietnamese name on Decatur and Spring Mountain) is bigger, more selection, and cheaper, but this place is great too.
Great selection. Great prices. They have many different brands. Not like regular grocery stores.
Im a 6 years old customer of this supermarket, it was once my favorite, especially double Wednesday you could easily find lots of good deals. But since when i find out this store becomes really pricy on almost everything, i brought 5 lbs peach at 2.89 per lbs, while another supermarket offer them at 1.49, and its fresher compares to 168, a good supermarket is all about provding good quality products at low price, not high price and low quality.I want give 1 star to express this point to management of this store location, please bring 168 back to life like it used to be!!!
Decent Asian supermarket
This reminded us of See-Woo at home in the UK. Amazing selection of Asian foods, sea food and beverages. Prices are very fair
Good variety. More constant cleaning would be great
Great Asian grocery store. Has a large selection of seafood and groceries. Nicely organized and the store is clean.
The food court insidr is delicious
This place is like driving in downtown LA in holiday traffic. It is busy, cluttered and the aisles are congested. The workers in the meat and fish departments are very friendly and willing to help. They are also very fast, the workers in the aisle are a different story. They stock shelves and dont want to be bothered or you will get a weird look if you disturb them.Being a oriental market, they do have everything when it comes to your oriental needs. Just be ready to play bumper carts throughout the store.
Good Asian food selections. Clean place, no strong market place.
A lot of Chinese/Asian food, snack, drink, and vegetables that are unavailable in chain supermarkets can be found here. Vegetables are usually fresher than other Chinese supermarkets, but the quality is unstable.
Great place to shop!
Always filled with fresh ingredients, delicious cooked treats & sales on items.
Great selection of seafood and Asian food, smells not so good, a little not clean
Bad & rude service specially the old skinny lady with eye glasses at the fast food counter!
It gets pretty busy but employees are nice and checkout is easy.
Has lots of Taiwanese snacks and food
Overall I love this store. Its a pan Asian market with a wide variety of unique and some familiar products. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because of the lack of ability for assistance. I completely understand and am not terribly upset because I understand that the staff and clientele are of different ethnic backgrounds. No one really speaks English or can give you assistance. I would ask for where a product was located and told that dont carry it. Five minute later Id stumble and fine it on my own. So because of that I toke a star away.
I contemplated rating this grocery 5 stars but after a few visits and several meat purchases, 3 stars it is.The Pro: price is reasonable for their products, they have a lot of items to choose from even Filipino items, decent grocery for an asian marketThe Con: their meat products has more bone in them than meat, fish & other meats are not fresh, the aisles are small (difficult to navigate when there are 2 carts going opposite direction)Overall, this is a typical Asian market. I’d keep coming back for their prices but definitely not their meats or fish. Wish they were closer to the freeway exit but it’s a drive from any exits.
Excellent selection of oriental foods from many Asian countries. Great butcher department. I have never been disappointed with their whole duck. They will trim off neck and feet if requested. Good variety of vegetables you cant find in the usual grocery stores.
Salmon always very good.
Huge variety of different things and lots of fish !
I have loved this market every since i walked in 2010. The selection of mushrooms, noodles, and canned eel is super great! Also, their longaisa, chicken, lamb chops, etc are super!
Great bakery!
Too crowded. Too many people. Too many bxs everywhere. Great meat counter. Fish market smells!!
Always enjoyed shopping here. Good selection of products.
Love their bakery stations. Best store bought birthday cakes.
Lots of choices of Asian foods
Love the fresh veggies and seafood. Found foods and snacks from my childhood.
Great products and hard to find exotic foods are there Also they haves fresh seafood
If you long for a bit of Asian groceries, missing your local store or market in China, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong or other, you need to check this place out. Great selection, fresh seafood and more.
Great customer service and always have hard to find Asian ingredients.
Fun place to go, decent prices, but it smells like fish in there.
Well stocked with all Chinese goods, but the emphasis is Taiwanese favorites. I like the deli and desert/refreshments section. Ready to eat box lunches are my favorites, and at $5-6 each theyre hard to pass up. The grocery store even provide a large eating area for their customers. Nicely thought out, clean and fun.
I tried to like this place. Ive gone in on multiple occasions. Not the cleanest place. Better options for korean/Asian market around the area.
Love this place. Awesome deli
