I love the furniture here! I got my bed here! It’s worth it!

I was going to buy a new dining room set here until I saw their refund policy. It states: “customer agrees to waive all chargebacks and disputes due to the harm it will cause Designs by Simmons.” I took one look at that and headed for the exit. This basically means that if something goes wrong with your purchase, no matter what it is, if you paid by credit card you cannot get your money back, even if the error is not your fault. If you pay with card or cash all sales are final no matter what, plus they charge you a 30 percent restocking fee if for any reason you need to return the merchandise or cancel the order, regardless of what the reason is, even if it’s a legitimate reason. Better avoid this one. Keep looking if you’re trying to find good furniture in the valley. There are a lot of places out there that won’t rip you off like this furniture store. I found Furniture Royal on Rainbow just south of Designs by Simmons to be a great place to buy new furniture and they don’t have sneaky contract stipulations like Designs by Simmons does.

Con artists!!! They will allow you to order merchandise that’s not in the store and once you order it you’ll never get it even though you’ve already paid for it. They will keep telling you they have to get access to the showroom and it should happen next week but when next week comes they will say next week again. Then when you ask for a refund for items not received they will say all sales are final. They will tell you that you can cancel payment with the credit card company by calling them if you want and then when you cancel payment on a credit card purchase they will tell you that you owe a 30% restocking fee even though you never returned the merchandise because you did not get any because they never sent it to you. They will make up lie after lie to convince you that they have your order on the way and after you cancel payment because they could not deliver several times when promised they will call you when they get the chargeback and tell you the merchandise is in the store but you have to pay the restock fee if you want it. They will also hold other orders hostage if you have them and have not received them because of them constantly lying about the delivery date. You will find out that the merchandise was never really in the store when you call them and say you can come in and pay cash for it today because they will tell you it’s no longer in the store because we sent it back after you cancelled payment, even though it hasn’t even been 24 hours since they told you it was in the store. How can it be in another state already when it was just in the store 2 hours before close the previous day and it’s 10:00 am the next morning, which is when the store opens for the day? They will then tell you they will call you back but never do. When you call them back they will say you can come in today and make a $500 cash deposit and then they can deliver the merchandise to you 2 days later and you can pay the rest then, even though they just said they already sent the merchandise back. They basically only sell you merchandise that’s in the store and will con you for special order merchandise. They even overcharge on merchandise currently in the store by telling you it’s one of a kind. How do I know all of this you ask? Because it just happened to me. They even have a sign out front that says store closing, but will swear up and down that they are not closing, just remodeling. Your hard earned money is best spent elsewhere. They even told me they will cancel their thanksgiving plans to come in and open the store on thanksgiving day to give me my $3,200 order even though they just said the merchandise is at the warehouse in California and the warehouse can not deliver on thanksgiving eve or thanksgiving day. They can’t even get their lies straight. This store is a living nightmare to do business with; a tragedy waiting to happen. They will befriend you until they have your trust and then go full on con artist. I lost $960.00 to their scam and never even got my order.Before you can buy anything they make you sign a contract saying that you agree to waive your right to do a chargeback for any reason because of the harm it will cause their business. What reputable business does that? Don’t trust them! You’ve been warned. I would give them 0 stars but unfortunately it makes you give at least one.** Update: I went into the store to get my refund of $2,240.00 after they stole an unwarranted $960.00 restock fee from me and one of the female sales reps was very irate and loudly cussed me out for writing a bad review about their business. This business is very unprofessional. Buyers beware.

I was treated terrible by the Manger Mike and lied to about something so very simple, instructions to a computer desk .

I was told at their sister store “Furniture Place, Coaster Home Store (next to Cost Plus) to come here because they have high end designer furniture like Armani. To save time, just go to target or Walmart, they have nicer things. This store’s prices are 3-4x’s above market and the lowest quality furniture I’ve seen.

Extremely overpriced furniture that you can find online for much cheaper. Do not buy here without price matching!!!! They do not do refunds or try to keep the customer happy- most terrible customer service I have ever experienced.

Super quality designer brand furniture for fracture of the regular price, definitely recommend this place

So we finally saved and got my 14 year old daughter a new bed, spent over $400 on what we were told was a wood frame made in the USA (had to order the bed with only looking at a similar one at the store). After the initial pick up date was postponed due to store error, the store offered to deliver and set up free for our inconvenience...ok cool. The bed was delivered and set up on April 10. The bed frame material was compressed board...with the only real wood seen is flimsy 1×1×2 slats going across and 1×1×12 leg support for the middle. After 1 week, the bed collapsed with my daughter laying on it! Contacted the store for warranty and they supposedly contacted the manufacturer and now on May 4, 2 1/2 weeks after the bed broke and 3 1/2 weeks after getting the bed...the company says they arent going to cover the damage, but would come out for $80 to look at it...horrible customer service and terrible products!! Avoid this place like the plague!

Best store in town, they will work with you and their furniture is nothing like other stores you seen in town. High Quality item less than Amazon prices...

Worst customer service. Over priced me 100 dollars on a office chair, should have checked online for the same model first but they make you feel your getting a discount but there discount is there way of not letting you return. The sales reps are rude and very unprofessional. Go else where for furniture. They give Las Vegas a bad name

Simmons the best place to shop in town very good service very good quality furniture and very good prices I was there yesterday and I love this place I will always go back again for more furniture this is the place to shop in town and the delivery guys very friendly they delivered and setup all the furniture they did a great job I highly recommend it thank you

I ordered a futon bed and a queen size platform bed thought the girl gave me a good deal two days later they delivered it and its a $300 futon but feels like you bought a $100 one, and also it wasnt new didnt come out the plastic, 5 days later they delivered the pillows that go here, and now they have bed bugs on them and said all sales final. Smfh

Beware!!!. These are scammers. They ask you to put deposit in cash, to hold any items for you. Then if you change your mind about any or all of the pieces, you will either never get yr deposit back or will be forced to pay for all the you picked and were not sure about. The sales agent will convince you to put the items you are not sure about on hold as well, then will hand you the receipt saying sale is final, meaning you cant change your mind. I lost $200 to their scam. Didnt end up buying anything. They also threaten to take me to court to pay them additional $800 restocking fee for furniture i never bought.Also, you can find all the furniture they are selling on Houzz same price, but brand new vs Floor models this store is selling.

This is a wonderful store all the people here are very lovely and they have a wonderful selection of funiture I had a wonderful sales women named betty who helped alot she definitely knows her stuff but all the people are wonderful I will definitely come back
