Kelly is a PhD audiologist with decades of experience. She spent hours with me, listening carefully to my needs. Using up-to-date technology, she diagnosed my problems and provided me with a pair of hearing aids to try out. Over several weeks I wore them; she made adjustments to suit my particular situation; and finally I bought a pair, which come with her expert support.I cant say enough about this practice. Thoroughly professional but also deeply understanding and compassionate, Kelly and her whole team make the process of moving into the world of hearing help as easy as possible--especially important if, like me, you have doubts or hesitations. This was my first time to visit Expert Hearing Care. I was more than impressed. The staff was wonderful in letting me know the short time wait. My doctor was Dr. Wise and he was very impressive. With all of the new technology I learned so much more about my hearing problems. After the test he showed me the results. The results did not surprise me. He suggested that I try some hearing aids for the next couple of weeks and then go back. Right now I am pleased but still need to test them in all of my activities. Today I will have lunch in a restaurant like I do every Thursday. I am hoping that this will be the day that hear everything.

I had a hearing test during my most recent visit. I was not kept waiting and the test was done very professionally. I have great confidence in Dr. Kelly Churchill, my audiologist. She adjusted my aids to make them more effective, and she also suggested that I might try individual ear molds if I want further improvement in my hearing. My hearing loss is difficult to treat as it is a reverse slope loss, unlike the great majority of hearing losses. I am happy that I found Expert Hearing Care.

Dr. Allie Lambert is my audiologist, and she has always given me time to explain any complications I may have been experiencing with my hearing and aids since my last visit. Expert Hearing Care use quality hearing aids while dispensers dont always have comparable quality aids. Going to Expert Hearing Care (EHC) was a life-changing experience for me. Dr. Churchill tested my hearing/loss of hearing and did so in a professional, caring way that put me at ease. I had increasingly feared interactions with others because I could hardly hear what was said or asked. Falling deeper and deeper into a nearly silent world became my life. I could only read subtitles on the tv. Anything (typically documentaries/historical pieces) were lost to me without my subtitle crutch. Tremendous care and service in a comfortable environment! The testing regiment was more extensive than ones I have experienced in the past and very revealing as well. In addition to the standard “click the button when you hear a tone” type of test, the Audiologist ran tests to determine the responsiveness of the different parts of the hearing system, tested my ability to understand speech with varying amounts of background noise, etc. He spent a lot of time explaining things to me very patiently and clearly during and after testing, as well as during the fitting for hearing aids. Staff were very friendly and easy to work with as well. Everyone I met there was very professional and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to have their hearing tested or who might be considering hearing aids.

I was referred to Expert Hearing Care because I was experiencing some occasional hearing loss. EHC conducted a very thorough analysis of my hearing function and provided detailed, lay-scientific explanations of the finding and its implications. My analysis showed mild to borderline moderate loss of hearing at high frequencies. I was provided with demo hearing aids to try out for a reasonable period of time. Ultimately I felt they didnt provide enough benefit to warrant the investment at this stage of my hearing loss. My Au.D. agreed with my decision. It was so refreshing to be given that support! We developed a watch plan so that I will make appropriate treatment decisions regarding my hearing loss going forward. EHC provided a professional, educational and caring experience. I know a continuing relationship with EHC will benefit me greatly. I highly recommend EHC!

In August of 2020, I reluctantly visited Expert Hearing Care for a hearing consultation. Having had poor results with previous hearing aids from other companies, I was very doubtful of a positive outcome. My audiologist, Jeff Wise, gave me a thorough hearing test and answered all of my questions. I was not promised 100% of my hearing back, I was told it might be 90%. Having my doubts about hearing aids, I was given a loaner pair to try for 2 weeks. The difference in my hearing was immediate and substantial. Within a weeks time it was like Id worn them for years. I no longer need the tv volume so high that my wife has to leave the room. These new hearing aids have been very beneficial and work very well. The staff was very professional, courteous, and helpful. In my opinion these hearing aids are a game changer for me and they are adding greatly to my quality of life. My only regret is that I didnt go there 15 years ago.

Hope for Tinnitus!In 2017 I suffered sudden hearing loss & extreme tinnitus. After going to urgent care I was referred to an ENT specialist. He told me “there is nothing you can do for tinnitus…sorry” and that was it. Over the course of almost 3 years I suffered with constant never ending ringing in my left ear. Knowing a professional told me there was nothing I could do, I felt very frustrated and completely alone. I didn’t want to go to another professional that would tell me the same story, so I continued to learn how to deal with it. Almost three years later I could no longer deal with the incessant ringing, so I made an appointment with Expert Hearing Care and met with Dr. Jeffrey Wise. Not only is he a Board Certified Doctor of Audiology, but he is a specialist in tinnitus! He was and is very attentive, calm, patient, and well versed in his profession. He listened to my entire story and made it his mission to help me. I am writing this to alert anyone who is suffering from chronic or even intermittent tinnitus that is making your life difficult. There is hope! Once I accepted the results of my findings and listened to his recommendations I was fitted with a hearing device and allowed to try it for two weeks. I could not believe the difference this device made for me and my life. I was able to purchase my own, which is a bit pricey, but it offered payment options. I now wear it daily…and my life has literally changed from debilitating ringing to calmer hearing. This is not an end all, but it is a priceless piece of technology that offered solace for my mind and my life. I urge you to seek assistance and I highly recommend Dr. Wise.
