This was the first time I ever entered a gun shop. Seems to be a shortage in guns and ammo because of the countrys uncertainty which is the same reason why I decided I want to be a gun owner as well. Excellent customer service. The younger gentleman showed me what he had in stock. Went over all the differences between my different choices. Gave me some pointers and excellent advice. Did not mind that I did not decide right then and there. Really top quality shopping experience. When I decide which is best for me, I definitely will go back to Miller Guns and Ammo.

Easily the best gun shop in Las Cruces at least for me, nice staff make FFL transfers easy and always have some nice things in stock. I purchased my first firearm with them and the shop is about 20-25 min from me but its always worth the drive.

4 employees and me being the only customer in the store didnt even bother looking at me or helping me out, i was about to walk out when 1 employee finally acknowledged i was inside.

I have been to Millers a few times and always have a great experience. The staff is very helpful and they have an excellent selection. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I recently reached out to these guys inquiring about a firearm that has been somewhat hard to find. The gentleman took down my information and told me he would contact me when one came in. Shortly after, I ultimately found one at another small business and ended up purchasing the handgun given the current scarcity and climate. Today I received a phone call, subsequent voicemail and email notifying me that they in fact procured the handgun I was looking for. I apologized and informed them that I had already purchased the handgun from another small business. He was completely understanding and polite as I’m sure they’ll have no problem selling it, regardless he was respectful and kind. These people treat folks right. Definitely recommend these guys and they’ll definitely get my business in the future.

Found some exclusive and hard to come by ammo at Miller G&A. Very happy with the help I received from the staff as I requested an update when the got a new shipment in, and they notified me immediately.

This was my first time being here at the place, and I patiently waited in line and I started looking around and then this rude man came up to me asking me what I wanted and what not. Then I said nothing I was looking around, and there was this white man next to me and the worker wasn’t rude to him at all. Worse place ever honestly not recommend, they are completely high profiling you and by your looks and your color of your skin!

Millers is a great local gun shop. The staff went the extra mile to make sure that I had a good customer experience with my most recent purchase. Specifically, Jay and Johnathan were very helpful. If youre in the market for a new gun or just a box of ammo, then this a great place to check in and buy local.

The gentleman at the counter told me he cannot even sell me earplugs if I was a California resident. Now I understand not letting me buy a firearm or even sending a fire arm to California. He said that was not a state law its just the owner of the store. He said he is the one that signs my check. I was ready to buy a tac light and a holster so spend a few 100 bucks but he did not want my money if I lived in California. Where I come from thats called discrimination. Sounds like a lawsuit ready to happen.

Love going into Miller Guns & Ammo. The staff is really professional and helpful. I especially love the rock music, like Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch, or Disturbed, playing in the store. It just makes you feel like buying a bunch of stuff. Keep up the good work. 👍

Horrible service very prejudice. The lack of professionalism was just amazing. My fiance was denied the purchase of a firearm for no reason other than our skin color he didnt want to help us from the beginning. How obvious this ordeal was was sad to say the least. Ive been in business for 8 years and these people should be ashamed.

While passing through my old college town I needed a hard-to-find holster. When I called Miller, the gentleman on the phone actually did a real inventory check to see if he had what I was looking for, set it aside, and was ready for me when I showed up. Excellent service, great local shop.

This was my 2nd time at this store and I didn’t get helped until I asked both times. I noticed other people getting helped as soon as they came In the door (4 customers). Finally when someone came to help he didn’t know about red dots because he doesn’t use them. I’m a new to guns and I think I knew more than he did...

I went to view or purchase my first firearm. Lets say i didnt feel welcome and then i was denied. The employee told me cause i was under the influence of medicine that he could not sell me a gun. I understand that and totally understandable but then told me cause he knows Im under the influence and will never sell a gun to me because he will assume im under the influence. How does that make sense?

Great shop, helpful staff and the owner is very informative and nice. Simple minded people as Im seeing on the reviews obviously dont know or understand people that are to the point. Enough of them. Owner helped me with every gun I was looking at, giving complete details on each one. I ended up buying one with a scope he recommended that works awesome and and have since bought another. I am in the process of buying another tthere, keeping it local and will continue to keep going back to Millers. Thanks guys for the help!

The guy (wasn’t owner) was rude. Seemed like he was out of patience. First time in the store, was looking to sell a fire arm. The guy gave me an absurd offer for a handgun which I was trying to sell. The low offer isn’t the reason for the low rating but service in general was poor. I’m all about the small business ESPECIALLY those looking to enforce our 2nd amendment, but unfortunately I’ll have to do my purchases elsewhere.

Awesome selection and the staff seems to be knowledgeable on certain topics. Got great help from the girl there when I was looking for a gun for my mom as her first concealed carry. Was never asked for any form of ID upon handling the guns. When the owner came out from the back he immediately came up and questioned my age, to which I responded honestly that I was 20. To which he replied “you can’t be handling these guns MAN, get out of my store.” I told him maybe he should have better protocol and make sure legalities like the age to handle a handgun are enforced? Obviously he didn’t like being told what he had done wrong so the only snarky comeback he had was “come back with your mommy.” I would rather drive to Alaska and buy a gun triple the price of the one in Millers than ever walk in there again. Absolutely terrible customer service from the owner. Surprised this business is still up and running considering the abundant amount of complaints DIRECTLY towards the owner. Buy from sportsman’s they are all kind people and will help you find anything and everything you need with no judgement. Too bad I can’t give this a negative 5 stars.

The new staff they have working for them are just awesome. I love the fact that they aren’t know-it-all’s by that I mean they don’t make you feel stupid if there is something you don’t know, that’s the main reason I keep going there.

The old man that is at the store is rude. I think hes the owner, but Im not sure. I recommend buying your guns online and having them sent to one of the pawn stores in town that can act like a broker and do your background check instead of going here. The younger staff is nice, but the old man is an abrasive jerk and is rude when you ask any questions at all.

Wouldn’t shop here... never know who else besides the NMSP they will call on you to save their own skin and get in good with the governor.

My first experience with Miller G&A was a couple of years ago, it was a great experience. Fast, freindly, professional. Today was a different experience. When I asked some questions about a firearm, The employee was rude, short, and mumbled words under his breath as I walked away. I will not be returning nor will I ever reccomend them to friends and family again.

If you read the bad reviews they mostly come down to poor customer service and outright rude, disrespectful & condescending behavior directed towards customers. Sadly, I have to agree. Service was horrible. You try & support a local store instead of buying online & they end up being less flexible than online & you have to endure their condescension for your troubles. Went to Millers, got treated poorly, went home and got on gunbrokers. Miller G&A just lost a my business for life.

I just bought my first gun online from Miller Guns & Ammo. The transaction was real quick and I received a call from them letting me know that my gun was ready to pick up; this is important for me specially because I dont check my E-mail regularly so Id rather get a phone call instead. When I arrived at the store the gentleman attending was very polite and professional and helped me out with everything that I needed. I will definitely buy from this store again since it has great service and prices.

I recently placed several items for auction with Millers Guns and Ammo. The service was the utmost professional experience I could have imagined. They walked me through everything and were always available to answer any questions/concerns I had about the auction process, etc. I would highly recommend Jon Miller and his staff for any of your auction and purchasing needs. If you’re going to try to be slick about making a straw purchase, and then post a 1-star review because you got all butt-hurt after being called out- go somewhere else.This store has a great selection, awesome prices, knowledgeable staff, and a much better environment than those big-box stores.

If I could give zero stars I would. They are exceedingly rude and dismissive of their customers. This is the worst customer service I have EVER had. They judge your pocketbook when you walk in and treat you accordingly. As we are in our mid twenties we are not deemed worthy of good service. Regardless of the fact that we spend hundreds monthly on our guns and ammo purchases, and have purchased multiple items from this store. Never again. Do NOT waste your money or time at Millers. They will not provide competitive pricing, knowledgeable answers, or simple customer service. They have a decent selection but it is not worth putting up with the degrading behavior from the presumed manager. We have regretfully made several purchases here. We were expecting to make another large purchase, and asked if they were willing to come down at all in the price (a negotiation other stores in town willingly participate in) and instead of saying no which would have been perfectly acceptable he laughed at us and told his employee to tell us Ill only go up on the price, not down. This comment was both loudly made and we were rudely laughed at. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and returned only to be treated the same way. My husband is a reserved man. There is a difference between being quiet and reserved and being rude and disrespectful. The manager here is horrid and unconcerned with pleasing his customers, or even simply showing courtesy. Both my husband and I have jobs with the public and we will purposely steer every customer we possibly can away from this place. Arrogant, dismissive, tactless management ruins the $10 dollars you MIGHT save( and probably wont). Other places in town recognize the value in showing their customers respect, especially repeat customers. A sentiment Millers clearly doesnt have. Save yourself the trip. Go to strykers or make your purchases online.

By just pure word of mouth I heard terrible things about this store anywhere I went. I kept hearing that this place was bad. I could care less I tend to give things a try myself before making judgement. Store appearance (7/10) the store looks great the selections and presentation seem great. Note (just because they have catalogs online does not mean every gun listed online will be in the store. They are a FFL so they can order whatever they need to. Customer Service however (0/10) Would not recommend if you are looking for Advice, to just look around, or haggle. The customer service was kind of trash the first time I came here waited for about 30 mins before I was even asked for help while the man and woman talked and sat there. (I ended up leaving shortly after). Some days its busy so its understandable but I went in to possibly buy a rifle immediately was disregarded (for god knows what reason). I am planning on making a purchase soon and they have exactly what i want in stock as the other stores do no I will update depending on the next visit.

Wide Variety of Black Guns!Ive been wanting a special 300 Blackout. Got a wild hair and called Mr. Miller, he turned me on to the latest and greatest with a fair price.He had it outfitted with optics and trigger and ready for pickup by 11 am the next day.I aint used to good service like that!Will do business there again.

I have purchased most of my guns online prior to finding Miller Guns & Ammo. I went into their store and wanted to look at the next gun I planned on purchasing online like usual, however realized their pricing was pretty darn reasonable especially after figuring in the transfer fee of $30. That day I went in, they had two people engaged with other customers but made sure I was attended to. They had all the answers! That is something you cant get from buying online.

False statements, Lack of concern.I went into the shop asking how much they would charge for an FFL transfer, as in I buy the gun online and they receive it. Normally this costs $10-$30. Mr Miller stated, if it is something we carry, then we dont do it, if not then we charge *only the cost of purchase plus transfer* Cool, figured he let the $10 slide for a future loyal customer. To make sure we were on the same page I asked about fees again, and he reiterated literally only the online price plus shipping. There is no way to misconstrue this.Later I noticed that they accidentally charged me $160 tax. On the phone he got real short after I reminded him of what he said then said, well you cant do anything about it anyway, you already paid for it. Real cool.Then they never called to let me know my rifle arrived. I had to call them much later and the kid could care less.So in short, total lies costing me $160 and arrogant disregard. I could have gone to a pawn shop and paid $20. Avoid this shop.

Left a review a few weeks ago but I don’t see it under my original login so I’ll do one with this login name. I purchased a Sig 365 and a Ruger 10-22. This crew had a FULL shop and still were able to get me processed in a timely manner. If you want good customer service pay them a visit for all your pistol and rifle needs.

Ammo selection was great for bulk. As far as in singles it was fair. However, the prices on guns here is unbeatable. Definitely a good look for anyone in the market for a gun.

Miller Guns and Ammo where have you been all my life! I could spend days in this store with the selection they have but the wife would probably hunt me down if I did. Normally, if you want top notch service, dont spend your time hunting for the cheapest store...NOT the case though with Miller Guns. They have excellent prices and made me feel like I was family. Cant wait to save up for my next purchase!

Miller guns and ammo is the best store in town for prices on anything you want to buy

Miller has quality inventory. He appears to be helpful when making a sale but unfortunately Ive come to found out that he really isnt grateful for his customers. My wife & I have spent plenty of money on big purchases from Miller but yet Mr. Miller is rude to us and comes across like he doesnt appreciate loyal customers like we were. I rather give my business and hard earned money to a company that appreciates their customers.

I would give 5 except I am not a gun expert so I can only rate my customer experience.Compared with other gun stores, they did not try to bust my budget or show me equipment that was cheap. They showed me a few good weapons, were knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions, and laughed at my stupid joke about Plaxico.

I have been to Millers store on a few occasions and have talked with them at local gun shows. They have a good selection and some decent prices. All of the staff is polite and helpful aside from an older employee who is very rude and unprofessional. I do not know his name, but from the way he acts Im assuming he is the manager. Every time I have spoken with him whether it was a purchase or a simple question Ive always been met with a condescending and unprofessional attitude. This is very deterring to customers, especially those who drive in from an hour away. Now when I come to Las Cruces I visit the other gun shops, even if I have to pay a little more, because at least I know I will be treated respectfully. I know I am not alone on this issue and if Millers reads this I hope they can resolve this issue because theyre losing business from several customers. I want to see their business succeed because more business options are always great for customers, but it is difficult for customers to want to spend their money there if they arent being treated respectfully.

Stopped in looking for a front sight I purchased a year ago....didnt have it in stock....they did provide a few spare AR parts....for free....what an offer....so great to help me out on their own...didnt even require a purchase....thanks to the sales lady behind the counter......great shop..lots of higher end products from tactical to hunter.
