I enjoy going to this specialty grocer, but it is not my primary grocery store. Everything is pretty spendy but they have some good sales and markdowns. In fact, Ive never found the produce markdown cart empty. It would be cool if the markdown produce items werent all wrapped in plastic with Styrofoam. In fact, that is probably the only detail that keeps me from giving four stars.

The store was immaculate! Very clean and well organized. There are plenty of organic products and produce you dont normally find in your usual grocery store. The meat there is fantastic, grass fed beef is great. A bit pricey but worth it! There is also a board head deli located inside. The beer selection is pretty awesome they sometimes have beers you cant find just anywhere|, also a great selection of wine and spirits. Staff is friendly and helpful! There is also a Bitcoin ATM located inside the store!

It smelled bad, the people were rude, and the prices were crazy. I would understand if it were quality fruits and vegetables, but we bought a melon and it was bad.

If I need an ingredient for a recipe its the place to go. They have some interesting and different items. Things are easy to find and the staff can help u find anything u cant they know the stock!!

Great local supermarket! They care about their customers - one of the employees cleaned a tomato we were talking about buying so we could try it. It was SO GOOD!!! Locally grown too. We bought some amd were so impressed that she did that for us!

Sounds like a cross between a Trader Joes and Whole Foods. If its even close its awesome and I have not been there yet.

Such a great market to visit when I visit from Santa Fe. Always stocked with great fruits and veggies as well as local NM and southern NM items in addition to specialty ingredients.

Toucan is a convenient store for students at New Mexico State. It can be a bit pricey but you can find locally grown fruits, vegetables and plants.We visit Toucan at least once a week for Arugula and some fresh veggies as well as to pick up a copy of the weekly Bulletin.Toucan has lots of specialty items, such as spices, seasonings, coffee and nuts. It is a great place to pick up a yummy hostess gift.You will find the BEST Tiramisu ever there!An if you look up at the walls you will find art work on display by students from NMSU!

Disappointed in their tiny Asian section. Found some great plant based cheeses and some good noodles. Overall I think the store is way too expensive. My favourite crispbreads which I can buy elsewhere for $2.89 are a whopping $5.18 here. Needless to say I didnt buy them.

This market is very unique! They have fresh produce every time I go that I cant find anywhere else. They have a wide selection of cheeses, meats, seafood, frozen foods, wines, and almost anything else you can think of. I always try to support small businesses and shop local. I highly recommend this store for food shopping! Shop local!

Here you can find some fresh produce and quality meats. From smoked salmon to grass fed beef. They also have a great selection of beers and spirits.

Just discovered where to locally purchase chicken 🐓 🦴 🦴 bones to prepare healthy gelatinous bone broth. The market will take your number and call 📱 when chicken feet are available. Their locally grown micro-shoots are excellent as well.

Love this grocery store. They have a great deli, healthier food options, and the price is good. They do discounts for seniors and students, which is really cool. They have really good deals on specialty items every day so its kind of nice to go just about every day, I feel like I get a lot for little price. They also sell the local Calhounss flowers there, amazing chocolate selection.Why not 5 stars? Staples are expensive here.

Great place to shop for vegan and organic options, the bakery was in full swing when I was there and it smelled amazing! The manager was very involved it looked like, and was helping customers and laughing and just generally having a good time. Will definitely go back!

Nice market with a number of specialty items focusing on the Southwest. Not a place where one would do weekly grocery shopping probably, but if looking for specialty items, be sure to check out.

Toucan Market is one of the cleanest and tidiest grocery stores I have experienced since moving to the Las Cruces area. Their produce is second to none, hands down.Honestly, I tend to shop there infrequently and am not interested in many of the brands/selections for purchase. I found Darjeeling tea finally at Toucan; the big three grocery retailers in LC never carried my preferred tea. Powdered buttermilk I found there as well as beautiful brussel sprouts.The staff is knowledge about their inventory, which, when coupled with their friendly, neighborly attitude, is refreshing.

A very nice grocery store. It is not huge, but is well curated. Lots of variety, good meat department, very good beer and wine selection (cold beer ready to go), bakery, deli foods. It is also clean, well organized, and the staff has always been friendly.

I love visiting Toucan Market. They stock a bunch of local and NM top quality products. The cashiers remember your name, the stockers dont look unhappy and its clean. Many items arent as inexpensive as some of the big corporate grocery chains. However, you also dont have to live through a personal hell to get your produce.

Great prices on wine with some real bargains. Meats are outstanding. Not the leadt expensive place but well worth it.

Good source for natural/organic foods. Good selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Good selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. Good selection of gluten free items. Their meat counter is usually well stocked and everything appears fresh. All the employees Ive interacted with were friendly and helpful. The reason for only three stars is simply due to their prices. They are high on pretty much everything. Ive found better prices for the same items or items of equal quality elsewhere.

I love this grocery store. Its very clean and has a lot of great product choices. They have a sitting area where you can enjoy a donut and cup of coffee very quaint.

Helpful employees, Owners is very nice, seems like hes good to his employees. Clean environment and the butchers were really helpful with helping me figure out what cuts i needed.

This is seriously one of the worst grocery stores in the Las Cruces area. Their prices are very unreasonable. On top of it, after speaking with a manager, who I was lead to believe was the store manager, I can say that they don’t really value their employees either. He spoke about the cashiers like they were less than human. No wonder the service here is so bad. If you want good service and prices, check our Mountain View Market Co-Op.

I shop Toucan when I am looking for a special wine, cheese or cut of meat or fish. You have to be ridiculously stupid or ridiculously rich to shop there for all your grocery needs. Simple staples like orange juice are twice the price here as they are at other family owned or chain grocery stores. However, their quality is definitely a cut above if you want to prepare a memorable meal. Just forget about this place for the everyday stuff.

The best meats in town

One Easter, Toucans was the only store for n town that had fresh leg of lamb; consistently, its the only place in the area to purchase FRESH fish. Produce is always fresh, staff always helpful. Selection of cheese, fresh-baked goods, fresh meat....superb. I guess you could say the key word here is FRESH!

This is a great locally owned grocer. Excellent foods available...organic produce, lots of healthy options. They have a great deli and bakery with super friendly staff.

Amazing selection of foods, produce, meats, baked goods, and much more. I stopped last minute to get cookies and cupcakes for my daughters school and they had just what I was looking for. I also got some platain chips. They do have a variety of local products like honey, pecans, eggs, salsas. Also, if youre cooking an international dish you should stop and see some of their Asian, italian, Mexican items. I love this store and will continue to visit it more often!

Its kinda pricey, but its hard to argue with its location right next to campus. Has a very nice selection and the staff are consistently very friendly. (There is also a 10% student discount which takes the edge off the price a bit)
