Went today not upset that there wasnt much to choose from.... There are no push carts and when I found one of three after a few mins a employee demanded it back from my elderly mother saying he needs it to stock. The store is empty and I was already informed there basically nothing in the back. He took the cart from my 70 year old mother who just wanted it to help her stand. Wow. Poor service. I was very dissatisfied with that. If Im going to spend over $100 buying your expensive customs the least you can do is let my mother use one cart for 5 mins.

Friendly staff BUT Very bazar policy. (They are now located inside Mesilla valley mall). If you enter with shopping bags from other stores ( located inside the mall), they either make you leave them with an employee or they have to put zip ties on your shopping bags… they also tell you once you leave, they must check your purses/backpacks. I worked retail for many years, never has a company been allowed to make a customer open their purses. I am positive they are breaking many laws. Also, putting their employees in danger (they will get an upset customer sooner or later). Also, the store was dangerously hot no AC only a few fans throughout the store.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed 😞 I keep hearing about all this store has to offer. If you are looking for a costume they have lots to choose from. But very little to offer beyond that.

This store does not follow policy at all. The manager here I believe his name is Oscar, informed me that they will not return a wig that I bought in store yesterday due to the “policy” I looked on the website and called the customer service line to confirm if this was true because On spirts website it states they will accept returns of ANY AND EVERYTHING as long as you have the receipt which I had and the item is in it’s original packaging, which my item was. Still Oscar would not let me return this wig due to the “policy” after I spoke to customer service they informed me that as the policy states you truly can return any and everything as long as you have the receipt and the due date is not surpassed. Oscar is either misinformed or just needs an attitude adjustment as he was extremely rude and unapologetic. Glad I gave cooperate his name! :) and got my full refund!

I went into the Las Cruces location this year and purchased something small. The cashier asked me if i wanted to donate to their children of spirit fund or whatever its called. I said no. She told me my total and asked if i wanted to round up and donate my change to the same cause. I was making the purchase bc i NEEDED the change. Again i said no. She rounded it up and took my change anyway. Which was hella rude. Train your cashiers better.

I was told they didnt have stock of an item on display and that it was unavailable everywhere even for online ordering. If its unavailable then why even advertise it or have it on display with the price tag? Youre not selling it so why put a price tag on it.I went online anyway to see if I could purchase it and its being shipped now to my address. This is the second time this has happened to me where they had an animatronic on display, said they were out everywhere and that it was even unavailable online. I just dont understand but Im glad I went online to buy it anyway and with a discount too.

Store policy is ridiculous. Couldnt go into the store with my purse unless i would let the search it before i left??? Never heard of any stores doing that. If stop lifting is that bad then they should have more employees in the store. Not making their customers feel uncomfortable or like criminals searching everyone especially females with our purses

Good customer service. They do not accept returns on leggings even if they are sealed in package. They did not mention that or have signs. They did offer a discount on another item to make up for it.

As a huge Halloween fan, I am so happy that the store is open for the year. This years items seem really good too. I will be back to buy more soon.

Didnt really appreciate the store policy where I cant walk around with a purchased item in a semi clear Spirit bag. I bought an item and was looking to exchange it for something else but was stopped by a guy telling me I cant have a bag in the store because its store policy. If it was truly a loss prevention issue to have this store policy then why allow purses other bags in the store that arent transparent? Smh

The hours are accurate on here, but you never know until you show up and see it. The hour sign is very small, you cant read it from car. So yeah you gotta get out if car to a calendar that says 10-10, get close to halloween it opens 9-9. Wow that wasnt hard, but they made it difficult

Great place with mostly friendly people and a large selection of Halloween supplies. I only wish they were open year round

We just went to your local Spirit Halloween store on Telshor at Las Cruces New Mexico we was informed that my wife would be search upon exit of the store for no reason whatsoever because she was wearing a purse that felt like you believed we were shoplifting without any information whatsoever therefore we left your store I will never visit another one of your businesses again we felt as though you thought we was thieves even before we entered your store very disappointed

Costume from here got be a 1st place prize in a costume contest. Awesome selection. my only issue is that their prices are high enough to hurt your feelings when you get a full costume. I recommend this place

Like always they have costumes and stuff but mostly came on to comment they have really improved how they handle lines I hate standing in one spot so really appreciate that. They do have a pretty decent selection I would recommend going before Halloween gets close u get a way better selection and no where near as many people to deal with.
