Albert at Local Tech is honest, reasonably priced, and fair - a wonderful find in this time! He repaired my MacBookPro for only $170 when the Apple Store in El Paso said that the logic board was damaged and the laptop needed to be replaced. Albert replaced two fans (my original problem was a bad fan) and found no damage to the logic board. Im now writing this on my repaired MacBookPro which works perfectly fine. He literally saved me from having to spend several hundred on a new computer (after getting whatever they gave me on the salvaged laptop, as much as $520). He also made sure to repair the laptop before I had to leave town, too, extra appreciated. Thanks for your good work, Albert!

Went to get my PS4 pro thermal paste replaced more professionally as I couldnt do it myself, left some custom paste with them, and its definitely working like it came fresh out of the box!Best place to get your stuff fixed. Even got a free dust cleaning.

Their office is curbside and behind what looks like several garage doors. The owner is very abrasive and does not listen. He destroyed all of my records and precious photos. I was told I would have to recite the file as it was listed for his helper to find it. While I was being helped he stood behind me talking so loud that I couldnt hear. When I complained he actually kicked me off the premises. If you are female or elderly do not use this business.

I took a PC here to be reformatted and have a new operating system installed. It took them a few extra days to do a simple job. I had to blow up their phone just to get my computer back. When I got it back it was partitioned incorrectly and some of the previous owners files were still on there.

Took my Xbox in for a repair, also took in a controller. Payed the $50 fee to diagnose, Told me it would cost more to fix it than buying a new one then they told me they would buy that one from me and they would call me back with an offer. They never called me back they just kept my Xbox and remote. I tried calling multiple times and nothing.

I called 5 different tech repair places asking if they can fix monitors. All said they did not. I called Local Tech and they said they could do it for only $30. No “estimate” or surprise cost after repairing it. It was done in 3 days and I have no complaints.

I run a remote astronomical observatory with very sophisticated equipment and software. 2 computers, 2 telescopes and multiple cameras and other devices. One day the main remote desktop just died and wouldnt respond at all after about 3 years of use. I suspected a motherboard or power supply failure and wasnt sure it could be salvaged at a reasonable cost vs just buying a new machine. I thought I would try local tech. Wasnt sure about them but saw they had pretty decent reports overall. They diagnosed the motherboard failure the same day, ordered the replacement board the same day and had it installed in 1 week. I saved about $200 repairing this machine vs buying a new one. This is a major hardware problem that they were able to help me with and restore the machine to exactly the way it was before the failure, like nothing happened. Everything is up and running now and Im back in the galaxy again! Downtime was only 1 week! I will definitely use them again and was happy to find someone local who actually knows what they are doing. Dont let the small warehouse appearance fool you. They have a lab close by where the work is done in a totally dust free environment. Very professional operation! Highly recommended without reservation! Thanks Local Tech!
