Fantastic customer service. Went out of their way to build a charger for my sons robodog that was near impossible to find, and ended up being less than half the cost. My mother board on my desk top was bad, they fixed that for less than half the price. Knowledge of computers is through the roof amazing!! If I could give more than five stars I would!!

Wonderful experience! I went in with my grandma to get her set up with a laptop. The owner was extremely patient and explained the benefits of each of the available options.The prices were affordable and of good quality. His shop is charming and comfortable. It was great to work with a local and not a huge chain.He was able to help us get set up with the essentials, whether the customer is tech savvy or not. Totally recommend this store.Plus theres a cat, so that pushes it to 5+ stars :)

Has an inventory like you wouldnt imagine and the knowledge that accompanies that. Its hard to be impressed with tech stores anymore, but color me impressed with Edgar digital. When they say everything from oscilloscopes to i7 s, they are understating it badly. Add in Nixie and vacuum tubes, military communications surplus, paraphernalia for the geeks in all of us.... List goes on and on. Ill be back, thats a promise.

Edgar Digital technicians have been my computer gurus for several years and through four computers. I trust them to fix my computers and I have always been happy with their work. They are also reasonable with their rates.

I support local businesses but Edgar’s had no idea on how to work on an Apple computer. 52 gigs of music lost, 2 years of photos lost, every document for the past 10 years corrupted. I had backup for everything but I would never go back for my computer. Cool shop to look at.

Very good place for hard to find electronic items. The place may seem a little on the cluttered side but everything in there seems in working order and the prices are fair. It really depends on what you are looking for but if you cant find it here, you cant find it anywhere.

Love King for old computer parts or a place to rech let some old hardware rather than throw it out? This is your place. The back is 20 times bigger than the sales floor, filled with surplus military electronics stacked to the ceiling. You wont believe what all is in there and you will never know because theres WAY to much to ever see it all.

Ive taken my laptop to these guys a couple times, once for a new screen and once to fix my power jack. Both the fixes have been great, and everyone working there has been very nice and friendly (they even have an office cat sometimes!). The cost has always been affordable as well (coming from a college student), and for the power jack fix, they even did a makeshift fix so I could use it while they waited for the part to come in, and they didnt charge me any extra! Theyre now my first choice for repairs.

I went in with a broken computer fan and broken computer hinges. They examined my computer and researched the parts and were very helpful and honest. They said the price of the hinges exceeded their expectations (it would be about $160 just for the part) and they recommended I not get that fixed because the cost was too high. The fan part would be $18 and their estimate for cost of labor was very fair (I cant quote the price I paid because they are still working on it). Overall Im very pleased with how kind and respectful to me they were, not to mention how honest they were with helping me save money. Most places would have charged me that without even asking my opinion! I look forward to receiving my computer back, and this will be the first place I go if ever I need technical work done on anything.

Absolutely the best place to find what you need in electronics, especially obscure, or limited, or historical. A place unlike any other. Worth a visit even without a need, for the experience and chance to ask questions. Plus, generally, there will be something to purchase you didnt know you needed until you went in.

I sent a newly built computer to my nephew for his birthday. UPS apparently decided that tossing the box around was a good idea, breaking a hard drive mount and dislodging the CPU from the socket, fan and all. So, I had the pleasure of dealing with Edgar Digital from 1500 miles away.From the start, they gave me confidence. They straightened the pins on the CPU (no small feat), discovered the rolling CPU/fan bowling ball had killed the motherboard and compromised either the power supply or graphics card. Unfortunately, my nephew decided to move from the area before the job of troubleshooting and repair was complete, but he received the system back with a lot of damage fixed and only one more problem remaining to be found.The kicker is they did this for under $250, including the cost of the motherboard (which they sold me at their cost). When we got it back up and running after his move (video card was the remaining issue), they even had configured the BIOS to the settings I told them I used when I built the rig.Hes now in the Dallas area, with the computer running like it was before UPS provided their fine service. This entire nightmare was made much easier and at a lot less of a cost than I would have thought thanks to Edgar Digital.If you need computer work in the Las Cruces area, do yourself a favor and call these guys.

The only people in town that I could find to un-solder a potentiometer. They also have a great selection of reconditioned equipment. Superior Staff.

I showed up looking for a hard to find adapter cord after having searched Las Cruces for hours. After hearing there was no such thing, and complicated technical jargon from everyone in town, I went to Edgars and within 5 minutes they had my solution at a good price even though there were many people in the store. Great job guys. I will be back.

Went in the store to buy myself a laptop. The owner came in, I asked him where the refurbished laptops are and he showed them to me. The prices were in my price range and I decided to buy on the spot. After starting up the laptop himself, the owner taught me a couple things about security as well. He had already pre-installed security software onto the computer in an organized file. Plus he even had a README file that shows you how to manually update these programs every week. All in all, it was a really smooth transaction and I even learned lots of things. Also let me mention, dont be afraid to ask this man any questions about the purchase. He doesnt hesitate to answer the, and Id consider him very knowledgeable about computers.

Ive been doing business with Roger and his staff for many years. For someone in the IT industry, his shop is a local disney land for geeks/nerds. Odds are, if it is something odd, obscure or a hard to find part, you have a very good chance of finding it local (thus supporting a locally owned small business) rather than paying someone on Ebay etc plus shipping.

They pretty much will have whatever you need - from the most current technology to stuff thats been around for a while. Prices are very reasonable and technicians know their stuff.

Service was prompt and certainly at a good price. Best Buy geeks are way over priced for doing the same type of work. In fact their pricing (for identical job) was in excess of %800 yes 800 percent higher than Edgar Digital.

This is one of the few vintage electronic warehouses IN THE USA. Thats basically all you need to know.. Incredibly unique offerings for fair prices, assuming you know what youre looking for.
