Just got a haircut from Aaron at JC Penney, great job, and he was very friendly. Ill be back.

I called the salon and left a message. They returned my call within an hour and scheduled me in on the same day. The lady who did my hair was friendly and did a great job on my hair. She is a master stylist and her name is Jessica. I loved the way she worked on my hair I am going back for a balayage.

They have dramatically downsized. Only one register open when there used to be 3 or 4. Only spotted 3 employees on the sales floor throughout the store.

I love JCPENNY but was so disappointed on Saturday when I took my granddaughters to shop for school clothes. Hardly any inventory of girls clothing for size 14 and 10/12. They barely found 1 outfit each. Shoes were great. Good sale and sizes for them. I did not want to go walmart that is why we chose JCPENNY. Hopefully next time we go it will be better.

The store was very tidy & many sales going on .🤗The store clerks very friendly & helpful.😊But one could see that the ladies restroom had very little attention for quite some time! The floor was desperately in need of cleaning .😢

0 stars if I could. Placed an online order and received some random items I didnt order (brands & sizes were completely different than I ordered). I called customer service and their solution was for me to place a new order and spend more money to get what I ordered. Kinda shocking how bad the customer service is

They have better organized the store layout and cleanliness, not over crowded and messy like the last time I was there. Prices are very competitive and quality products. I will shop here more often.

They are doing very well qith their covid safe practices and sales.

I walk in this store with 1 purchase in mind and the next thing I know, I have several bags. I love that they actually sell petite clothing. I go to this store for great gifts for my friends and family.

One of the very few surviving stores in a mall that continues to slowly die off. It has fair prices because they always have specials and deals. They have good to great customer service, with most of their workers being on the greater end. I know a lot of people who buy most of their wardrobes at this store, and for me personally, I can buy everything but shirts here too. Good store, Id recommend it.

Ordered online before Christmas and had the wrong size. Returned to the Las Cruces store and was so surprised by the great service. Gave me my refund and then offered to reorder for me at the sale price and ship to my son in Austin. Great job! We need to support our local stores!

I got really good service here. I was helped out by a woman named Lyn. She stopped what she was doing to help me pick out a suit. She helped me find exactly what I wanted quickly, she held my stuff while I went to a different store to buy some shoes that I had seen that I liked, and she helped me match the shoes that I bought at a different store with a belt.I hate suit shopping, she helped me find what I was looking for quickly and I got the exact suit I was picturing in my head for a great deal.

There are no mirrors in that store how the hell can a person buy clothes if theres n mirrors. I was shopping for a suit how do I chose one if I cant see how it fits? Thats just not right. I really love shopping at Pennys even Sears is good. Ive been going to both stores since, 1953 people whom work there are just fantastic always treated well.

They have great quality clothes.

Miserable experience with Jewelry department. Some good deals available on nice mid range watches. However, staff has no knowledge about the various watches that are for sale. They dont understand basic differences between movements and purposes. After purchasing a Seiko dive watch the sales person had absolutely no idea how to correctly adjust the bracelet. Instead of simply admitting she didnt know how to adjust it and didnt have to correct tools required, she chose to force the collar pins out of the links thereby damaging the bracelet. The whole bracelet fell apart within a few minutes. After contacting the store, I was told my only option would be to surrender the watch and have it sent out to an approved repair facility with a turn around time of at least 4 weeks. Needless to say I paid a huge amount of money to have the watch repaired myself at a professional jewelry store. Never again will I buy anything from JC Penny. Just like Sears, they are a useless backwards retailer bent on self destruction. Id get better service and prices from any online retailer.

Lots of mens shirts to look over. Surprised some were $ 50-60. A little steep. But kept looking and found some for less than $20.Had to call out for a sales lady, she came and,was friendly and helpful. Will go back.

When I get a good check out person -- I feel appreciated. The merchandise is inconsistent. A size 34 waist could be 32 or 38. Must try everything regardless of brand. Same for inseams. 30 could be 29 or 31.Recently there was a good sale on trousers. It made it worthwhile to try on 20 trousers to find 5 that fit according the stated measurements. There has always been someone at the checkout desk to help pay the bill.

Sephora young ladies were extremely helpful and friendly

The saleswoman in bras was extremely helpful in fitting me with the correct size. Very patient and pleasant with online purchase returns. Gotta get her name - I should know it. Shes been there a long time. But the store -- looked like a crazy rush of people had just left after a big sales event. Several departments that I walked through were just terrible. Clothes all a jumble, belts on the floor, purses everywhere. I didnt see any sales people folding, stacking clothes, etc. Didnt see more than 1 cashier to a counter. Seemed like maybe this store cut back on employees. Thats too bad. It shows. NEVER seen it like that before. Ive been shopping at that Pennys for 17 years. I think they need more people. Oh, and bath and kitchenware, whats up with that Dept. ?

Its hard to find staff but once you do they know their stock and can help you find whatever you need

Great sale prices. Selection was good - size range was excellent ( petites to plus) . Store needs some tender loving care but it didnt stop me from buying.

I love their buy one get one for a penny specials. I was able to get 2 pairs of Name brand plus size jeans for $54 !! The clearance racks are awesome too!!

I went in to buy something specific. I found it and bought it. Ive never actually shopped in a jcpenny before. It is fashioned more for women, it took me a little searching to find the mens area. Clothes was on clearance, still $20. Ouch. Then the big question- where do I check out? Oh at the same spot as customer service? Really? So now i wait while this under 21 employee deals with this irate customer. Im waiting to buy and I need this shirt for work...now I feel like not buying because of just how annoying the event was

I had cash but I couldnt use it. I didnt like the option of just paying with my credit card or debit. I had a problem with my debit card I swept it twice and it was denied. Prices are not as expensive as they used to be. Store is clean and there is plenty of help on the floor. This is in a mall. So Im not sure what will come of it the way things are going. But I will shop here again when in the area as long as its still open.

The bathroom was in terrible shape, although it looked like the store had been recently remodeled. No tp, disgusting condition of toilets and sinks.However, Elizabeth in lingerie did an outstanding job of assisting my elderly sister. That is the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars.

It is so sad and disapointing how JCPENNEY has declined over the years. The phones were not answered so I desided to go in instead. The clerks are too busy to give any customer service. I would give no star if I could. Very bad experience . Management came to only make things worse.
