Awful Customer Service. I spoke to Richard to get vehicle inspected after falling into a gas station’s ground manhole which is like 3-4 feet wide, and instead of trying to help, he was making excuses in wether the suspension was damaged or not. And how big the hole was. Lol I am not going to waste my time if the suspension is not damaged.
Be very aware if you do no have knowledge of vehicles. My daughter took her car in because the front brake pads were thin and needed to be replaced. She called me and said the mechanic told her the rotors needed to be replaced in addition to the pads. I had previously checked the rotors a few weeks ago and told her to replace pads. The car has less than 65000 miles. Firestone rudely told her they won’t. I had her take the car to a friend who is a mechanic and he verified the rotors are in good shape. Pads where replaced and car brakes smoothly. Ironically Firestone has a website that shows the 4 signs of a rotor problem and if not worn thin there was no signs of rotor problems as stated in the other 3... I believe the mechanic was taking advantage of a young girl!!
Richard Villa absolutely made my year. The outstanding service I received at Firestone today cannot be described in one review. These gentleman took care of my car when I was freaking and stuck halfway across the country. Thank you for all your help gentleman. This will not be forgotten.
My husband and I were passing through town on our way across the country when suddenly and urgently we needed a new tire. From the phone call with Richard (#1) who identified the tire size, confirmed availability and showed empathy for our situation to being greeted by a friendly employee, also named Richard (#2) who helped us laugh through our wait time, they made our unexpected detour so much easier than we had anticipated!They assessed our situation, made educated recommendations and were mindful of our abbreviated time restraint. They were humorous and helpful and we would absolutely come back if we didn’t live on the east coast!
Made and appointment on 3-29-2021 for a front end alignment. Appointment was for 4-01-2021 at 4PM. Drove from Deming to Shop and was there on time. Went to lobby to wait. Several others were also in lobby. At 5:15PM manager came out to see who was waiting on what vehicles. Manager spoke to guy before me informing that his car will be after they finish a vehicle that was left at 9AM by another customer. He then asked me what vehicle I was waiting on. I informed him of my vehicle and was informed that they would get to mine after the guy he just spoke to. I asked what time I could expect it done. He informed me it should be finished around 7PM. I informed him that my appointment was set for 4PM to which his reply was, “ well your just gonna have to wait because we are backed up.” After waiting 1 hour and 25 minutes after my appointment and knowing it was not anywhere near ready to go in I gathered my keys and left.Why go through the trouble to make an appointment if they are not going to honor it. Lost my business. Very bad management.Not a very funny April Fools Joke Firestone.
If youre a lover of flim flam double talk and high prices, this is the place for you! I was sent here because they allegedly perform diagnostic testing. But the problem with my vehicle was easily discernable upon about 30 seconds of visual inspection. In fact they told me it was discovered by visual inspection. Yet I was charged for diagnostic testing. Plus I was charged a few dollars for shop equipment. When I asked what equipment, the double talk response provided no clues. Im assuming it was for the two pieces of paper towel I was given to clean off my windshield from a recent dust storm. My regular mechanic fixed the problems in about 1/2 hour for one third of the price this business quoted me. But Im a woman. A man might have a different experience.
Went in for for an AC inspection left with no AC at all, told me my AC was not charging, did it my self, works fine now and recommended filters changed, they were brand new!! Changed them myself last week, never again will I go back!!

Disappointed that they did not actually order in the tire I called ahead and requested. He said they normally need a deposit but he would waive mine since I was also coming in for an oil change. Both there person on the phone and at the shop were pleasant but had lack of follow through. They ran out and got a similar but different tire and put it on my rim to try to convince me to buy that one rather than just talking with me and wasting time. Bathroom was gross and they started doing an oil change on someones car that was there for a break inspection. I hate to give a bad review but I feel that others should know about my experience. Next time I will chose a smaller local shop.
Took my truck to have them replace the TPM paid for services and the TPM was never fixed, was given all sorts of reasons, excuses and after all the money was told they could do nothing, until it would happen again

Bought expensive tires for a suburban, really liked the tires, looked everywhere for them... Ended up with a flat took it to get fixed instead of patching it up they just put a plug. It was in a spot where a patch up would of been better than a plug .. Wont be buying any more tires here no matter how long I have to wait for other establishments to have them in stock.
These guys are great. Service is quick and they do not try and up charge or sell you an expensive fix if there is a cheaper way to do it. I had a heat panel above my catalytic converter fall down and instead of charging me hundreds they engineered a quick ten dollar fix. Im super grateful.
I went on a Sunday morning when other tire repair stores were closed because the “check tire pressure” light was on. I was leaving for a trip if 1600 miles and didn’t want any problems. The technician checked and found my right rear tire low. He offered to do the inspection and assured me it wouldn’t take too long. He found a good sized nail in the tire and fixed the tire. Thank goodness I found a tire store open with good, competent and courteous staff members who got me through my road trip with no problems.
I went in with a punctured Tire having never been to the store before. Even though they were extremely busy they fit me in and took care of me with excellence. It was the first time I was there but they made me a lifetime customer. Thank you guys.
From my perspective as a girl or as a woman I am always intimidated to going to places like this because I feel like they’re going to sell me stuff I don’t need and honestly from the service tech to the people at the front counter like Richard are amazing! Quality of customer service is amazing and the service they provide is amazing I recommend them to everyone!!
I heard one of the workers scream doesn’t he see that we are busy with other things I don’t understand why they didn’t just tell me they couldn’t offer the service not only were they trying to change the oil when I had only requested a break check
The guys were very professional, but I would not go there again for an oil change. Its really not their forte. 45 minutes is too long.EDIT: I think they over-filled my oil. Its about a half-inch over the top full mark.

This car service company was excellent when I first moved here. However, over the last year there have been a number of problems that has made me to make the decision to never spend money in this location again. Here are just a few that I could think.1. I went in with an AC problem and told them there was a problem. Charged me 125 for a recharge and told me there was not a problem. It quit working a week later. Went to another place and it was fixed within a few hours, and I had to pay for the recharge ofcourse. I will never get that 125 back for just not doing there job right in the first place.2. Dropped my car off and they said they would call me back when finished. I called 3 minutes before they closed and they said sorry we forgot to call you.3. Made an online appointment. They called me back saying that appointment was not available, and changed my appointment to today July 10 at 4 pm. I went in and they said I would have to wait a while before they got to me.
The guys here are amazing. I was so flustered because other companies in town were turning me down because of a tiny oil leak my car has had the entire time I have owned it. They took care of my car and they were very nice and speedy!
They are rude they roll there eyes they charge you the most they can even give you services you can do without they talk about customers after they leave in front of other customers not a place for anyone beware maybe a oil change but thats it no knowledge if they do have knowledge they keep it from you very deceitful business not recommended
I set up an appointment for 1 pm through their website and the website states that Firestone would contact me if there are any changes made. I drove an hour out to this location and they told me my appointment was scheduled for 5 pm. That was complete B.S., wasted an hour drive to come to this location and never got a call to let me know that they could not honor my 1 pm appointment.

The guys at Firestone Las Cruces are AMAZING. Dont let any of these old reviews make you doubt. Since I moved here in Jan 2018 I have been taking my car here for oil changes, repairs, replacements, you name it (gees thats a lot in 2 years!). I recently had a nail in my tire and they patched it up so quickly. They always answer my questions well and politely, and they arent pushy when you tell them you dont want something. Richard is by far one of the friendliest employees, and last time I was there I noticed when he would talk to clients he would sit next to them in the chair while he did so, which is honestly a really personable thing to do and something you dont see often. I will always recommend these guys!
Dont buy tires from this place! Period because if you have a flat and take your car in they put mechanics work in before you, because that makes money and your tire repair does not.
I went in for an a/c compressor replace. They took the time to do the job right. My vehicle came back to me with the a/c colder than when I bought it. Understand you need to set aside proper time to do the work you bring it in for, you cannot expect them to do a rushed job and have it done right. While waiting I saw many people come in and just demand, demand, demand. It doesnt work this way. Make an appointment with them and set aside more time than they estimate. They will do a thorough job.

Definitely one the best car shop I tried. Excellent service and good prices. Also the staff are friendly. They were able to diagnose a cooling system issue that the dealer couldnt do. The only down side is the time. I had an appointment on Sunday, it took them 3 hours to finish the car. which is longer than I expected considering the car work.
Had the interstate battery I needed in stock. Was quoted a higher price on the phone that included free battery install.My car was in another shop having tires put on so I was just picking up the part to install my self. Suddenly the price was cheaper because I was self installing. Sounds like the free install wasnt that free. Regardless I did get the battery I wanted cheaper than initially qoute.

We were stuck in Las Cruces, on our way from CA to TX, and had been having trouble since Phoenix. Everywhere we went, we got a different diagnosis. When we finally reached Firestone, we were given excellent care and service, from beginning to end.All staff that we dealt with were extremely helpful; particularly Patrick, and the gentleman that rang us up. The work was also done much sooner than was expected.I would HIGHLY recommend this place for trustworthy repairs, and excellent customer care!
I had a very good experience with magnificent management at this store, the next time I went in to order my tires the after hours sales man thought I was invisible, never asked if he could help me ..flat Out ignored me 15 minutes, he went in and out of shop several times,, talked on the phone, went to rhe bathroom, never said one word to me..I went to my car and gave him one star and came back in..then it was ice cold treatment horrible customer service!! With his tire price quote being $400.00 more then my printed good managers price..this place has excellent management and fabulous service people they deserve five stars...

I was traveling long-distance and in a rush when my tire blew and battery started to fail. This place took great care of me, was up front, and got me back on the road in no time. Great staff and super helpful!
Let me start off as saying, I have been a life-long customer of Jiffy Lube because of its value and time sensitive service. But my last service this week (6/11/19), I was beyond disgusted with the service I received.Upon arriving, I was greeted and was asked what Id like to have done that day. I told them that I needed an oil change and especially, have them check the level on my steering wheel fluid because the steering wheel vibrated when Id turn and hummed also. Once the service was done, I asked the JL employee how the level was and I was reassured it was good and I took their word for it. I mean, why not? I have trusted them all these years.Fastforward to yesterday (6/13/19) - the steering wheel vibration got more intense and the humming was louder than ever.In frustration, I took my truck to Firestone and asked if they could check it out. Today, 6/14/19, I got my results - empty steering wheel fluid reservoir. Firestone topped it off for me and no more vibration and/or humming. I am beyond relieved and my truck is happier. :-) Thank you Firestone, for saving me once again! I will continue to bring my truck to you from now on for all my oil changing needs.

For a simple oil change they told us to wait 1 hour an a half, after waiting 2 hours and a half we asked for our truck! They said they hadn’t had a chance to pull it in even though they had 3 spots available! We are out of town and we needed the oil change before getting on the road again, with 2 little girls running around waiting for two hours! If you are a parent you will imagine and understand the chaos and frustration.
I needed to have my suspension checked so i made an appointment. Despite having an appointment my car wasnt taken in until one hour past the appointment time. That was a bit frustrating, but the service itself negated whatever frustration I was feeling. They did a thorough inspection of the suspension and found nothing wrong. They took me back and walked me through the entire process to give me peace of mind with the diagnosis. Total cost of diagnosis? Less than $11.00
Absolutely terrible service... I always give places like this a 2nd chance or in the case of this business 4 or 5 chances... 3 hour wait times after I had a scheduled appointment. (Why bother scheduling appointments?) Given a card for a free oil change for the inconvenience. Warranty is worthless since it doesnt cover anything if the tire is not fixable. I was willing to pay for a pro rated new tire but then they charge shop fees, other parts and labor. (If the tire is fixable I wouldnt pay anything but theyre still required to replace tpms, stems, and weights plus labor.) I wasnt the only one treated like this, customer in front of me had come back 3 DAYS in a row and no one had touched her vehicle. Others waiting in lobby had been there 4 or more hours after they were told 2 hours tops.
Very experienced and knowledgeable staff. It bit pricey but worth it. Only gripe was the mechanic got my arm rest greasy and didnt wipe it down.
Purchased a set of 4 tires, 5 years after purchase i went to fix a slow leak they said they couldnt repair it because its 5 year old tire even though the tread is 50% or greater, I drive less then 10 miles a day and no where else with this vehicle.Everytime I had service with them they always under estimate the time which is really frustrating. Say no more Im doneUpdate,They contacted me for what? I think to show concern through this review only to do nothing, there are better places for tires avoid this one.

Every time I have to bring my car in for anything other than an oil change my car is there for a week or more. First time I had an issue was when I needed my CV joints replaced and somehow the vendor sent them the wrong parts and I had to wait a few days for new ones. Sure, would of been great to know by a member of the store calling me instead of me having to call them trying to figure out where my car is and why it is taking more than the guesstimated time, but sure. Alright. Second go around I have to have a steering knuckle replaced. Travis called me on Friday saying that part may no longer be available because of the make and model of my car. I dont drive a classic - Ponitac isnt in business anymore so I get it. I understand. After some google searching we found the part, he ordered it through his vendor either the same day or later, but I was told it would be there on Monday. Great! Come Thursday morning I havent heard any news from the shop so I give them call only to be told the same old story, The vendor sent us the wrong part so we had to order the correct part and it is coming from [insert state here]. Now it is possible that this has happened twice in a row and each vendor was incompetent and pulled the wrong part and delivered it, though I doubt it very much so. What are the chances of that happening? So today when I called to inquire about that status of my vehicle all I got was the same excuse and a sorry. Highly unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous. I asked if I was going to get my car back by the 21st, because Im leaving out of state that day. I was informed by my least favorite desk clerk, the part will be here Monday! Again, I am so sorry.... he just babbles on. Im sure hes a swell dude but shhh. I also asked why no one called me to tell me this rather important news? (not everyone has a second car they can borrow from their spouse that they dont need to use on the daily). All I got was a sorry. Unacceptable.1 star for the service of the store. Im at the point if I dont talk to a specific individual on the phone, or see someone at the store I trust, I wont go there. That includes mechanics and front of house staff.3 stars for the oil changes. When I am there and waiting (with apt) it takes an hour, maybe two and I am out the door. If I drop it off (with apt) I can get it back sometime that day hours later or within the two hour time line. Its a hit or miss.3 stars for vehicle inspections: I get one around 70% of the time I drop my car off so I can get a heads up on what is about to go next and what I need to shovel money into. They can range on what I need - one time Ill need something, the next time not, and the third time I need the original thing again, either more so or less than before. It too is a hit or miss.5 stars for Travis, My POC, because without him in the store I dont know if Id ever get my car back. He is compassionate, fair, and more than capable. Hes direct with his information, personable about it, and will reiterate an issue and break it down if I dont comprehend it.
Great place to get car or truck serviced. But be prepared to wait if it is busy. On The Weekends There Is Food Carts And Merchant dice on sale, walking distance from Firestone if you want to get out and walk around.
On Sep 11th I came into fire stone in last cruces new Mexico, for a ailment and was told my shocks,struts,tie rods and ball joints needed to be replaced. Yesterday I came in to have all the work, I was worried it wouldnt be done in time but not only did the tech working on my van do it in time but beat the time I was told. I was blown away. Everyone working there was very professional, friendly and they quoted me a very affordable price. I was very pleased with the service and will refer others :)
Took my car 3 days for them to run a few tests and actually fix the issue. Found out the first day my car was not even worked on, after i was told it would be started in the morning. Gonna miss my court appearances as a result which will lead to warrant. It Shouldnt take 3 days to fix a car since they have such great technicians.

Ive never had issues at any firestone I have been to! Even when I call they are polite and courteous. They also work pretty fast and I have never had a problem with the wait time!

Completely honest. Took my vehicle in because my wife noticed some squeeling and assumed it was the brake pads. Firestone checked the vehicle and told me the brakes were in great shape and charged me nothing.

It was almost closing time and they still gave us great service.
I stopped at firestone for an oil change during a road trip and they informed me that I needed work on the ball joints, suspension, and braking system. Originally telling me the van would be ready the next day, it took five days. Each day I called for an update and I felt I was treated as a nuisance despite the fact I was paying for 1500 dollars in repairs. When the van was finished we resumed our trip and in Arkansas the van started bucking and the brakes stopped working. I got a tow and took it to another firestone. As soon as they put it on the lift the wheel fell off completely. Something had been overtightened causing a soddering effect to my understanding which could have cost lives. Still on a road trip, I end up in a hotel. The manager of Las Cruces says he will pay for my time in New Mexico but not in Arkansas despite this being their fault. I end up in North Little Rock Arkansas for 15 days missing work and stuck in a dangerous area. After numerous calls to corporate; the hotel and repairs are finally going to be paid for. My question is do you want to go to a place that puts your life at risk and then fights you at your most vulnerable? Get a second opinion at the very least.
I called ahead and asked if they could do an oil change that day, they said they could. I drive there and they tell me they cant do it until tomorrow. Thanks for wasting my time Firestone.If anyone is curious, they wanted to charge me $90 for a 6qt synthetic oil change. Places like Walmart charge $44, so just go to Walmart.
I took my vehicle in on a Saturday morning. Got there around 11am, I asked specifically how long it would take to get an oil change and the tires rotated. I have taken my vehicle and a previous one I had, there several times and have never had any issues. Well, that was not the case this Saturday. So when I asked how long it would take for the oil change and rotation the guy told me 1 hour, with the farmers market down the street, I thought perfect... I even double verified that it would be the hour... NOT SO MUCH, we went back to pick up the car and hour and like 15 minutes later, even tho they hadnt called and asked how it was going, the guy lied and says oh itll be a little longer... an hour and a half later my car was finally ready. This is 2 and 1/2+ hours total. The guy giving me my receipt and everything was too bothered to go thru everything they had done for me. I asked a couple questions about an air filter, he claimed it was fine even tho at a previous visit they told me it would need to be changed on the next one (this being the next one). He was still rude and as I had been waiting 2 and half+ hours I was over it. So I go to get in my car and it is FILTHY with dirt and dust all over the front dash, middle console and front seats. I went back inside and told them they left it dirty and they sent someone out to clean it, well I am not sure what they cleaned... so I went inside again to tell them it was very dirty and I was disappointed and the manager comes out and looks and says well I am not sure how it would have gotten on the passenger side, no one sat over there and I was like well I am not sure how the entire inside front seat of my vehicle was filthy. He tells me he would be back and goes to get the guy that worked on my car and sends him by himself to Clean the car(i.e. the manager didnt come back with him)... he comes w a dirty rag and some kind of spray. I told him to forget it and that I would just leave w my filthy car as they had already made me late to my next errand. I have never had these issues at this Firestone Complete Auto Care. They have changed management and maybe that is the problem. It is convenient for me to use this location as it is close to work. And I have never had or given them grief about timing but the one time I needed it done sooner than later they couldnt get the job done. Not to mention leaving my car dirtier than how I had left it. I am SUPER DISAPPOINTED. I wish I could be saying customer service at its finest, but NOPE. I have made a call to corporate, so there may be an update to this.

I was passing through Las Cruces on a big road trip a couple weeks ago with my Class B RV and decided that it would be a good idea to have a once over on the vehicle after driving some bumpy roads through the National parks, forests, etc. Jason Lynne, the Store Manager, got me in late on a Saturday before the store closed, and Pedro Flores performed the inspection. Both Jason and Pedro were prime examples of what customer service should be. They took extra time to show me certain things on my vehicle and went into depth on the pros and cons of various maintenance issues that I will need to attend to in the future. There was no pushing to buy now, just a deep concern for the customer. And the grand total in terms of dollars? $10 plus tax for the Firestone full inspection.
