The products are great, if your looking for fabric, beads, or some painting craft stuff, its the employees that make me avoid this place. Been in this particular store 3x in the past 8 years, because every time the employees have to watch my every move within an arms reach away. Theyre not even polite about it. So, Id rather go to El Paso or Tucson if Im going to go to Jo-Anns. The vibes been the same for a decade, at least. So if you want to buy something, just pull it off the shelf and hand it to the employee standing right next to or behind you to take to the counter. Dont worry about getting a basket.

Not as big of a selection that I am used to for fabric. But a bigger baking good area. Found the patterns on sale so that was a pleasant surprise.

The yarn selection isnt vast. I have always had a good experience at the Las Cruces Joann Fabrics, except for today. The cashier, David, was rude, not helpful, and seemed to be unapologetic about his behavior. He not only did not bag our items, he also threw our items around as he scanned them. He refused to bag our items in a rainbow pride bag and looked on as I bagged the items and then followed by throwing another pride item towards me as I bagged my items. Joanns management: if your employees take issue with a customers merchandise preferences, perhaps retail sales and customer facing service is not for them. If this young man has issues with pride related merchandise, his opinions clock out when he clocks in.

They have plenty of fabrics but they dont have NFL material. The web states that they have all teams but its not true.

My go to fabric store. Theyre always having sales on something or another and many coupons can be used on their app. The employees are friendly and helpful. I cant leave the store without buying something. They have a great variety of fabrics.

Wonderful place to shop. Incredible sales. I didn’t know how many coupons I could use on my purchases and the girls help you find them on your phone. Saves me a small fortune. Good place they always want to give discounts. Its in really close vicinity to New Mexico State University in case you wanna do crafts in the dorm if you stay on campus. An idea and theres a dollar store next door thats highly unorganized..

I applied to the store the other day. The manager scheduled an interview with me on 05/20/20, and we agreed on a time for 3 PM. The moment I got to the store, at around 2:35, she left the store by the time I got there. I talked to one of the employees and she spoke on the phone with the manager after I asked. She was saying that the time was at 2 PM, even though it wasnt. She also said that she already hired somebody, even though I had an interview... The manager flat out lied to me via the conversation from one of the employees and pretty much wasted my time that couldve been used doing something else. (Also sorry if it appears I wasted your time.) Thanks for not living up to the time we agreed on via a phone call. I would strongly not recommend working here if they flat out lie to potential hirees. That was total disrespect.

Amazing and friendly staff that helped us with a quilt question, looked at pricing, helped with measurements and notified us of certain deals. I wish we got her name but the lady with curly hair did a great job today. We will certainly be back because of her. The store is also well stocked, clean, and welcoming.

Even though some of the prices are a bit high, I always use coupons for the discount which makes prices are reasonable. I always find the notions I need for sewing as well as miscellaneous items for crafting. They offer a great variety of fabrics and specialty items for upholstery and such. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

ILOVE Joann Fabrics I just wish they would expand their planner section since Im addicted to Happy Planner. Their staff is always so welcoming and friendly. I often go here instead of Hobby lobby because it feels so homey and welcoming.

I had the best experience at this Joanns Store recently. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable. They had several sales going on with their fabric, and I left feeling extremely pleased with what I found, and the prices I paid for it. The sales lady even showed me how I could save even more money by logging into my email to access a coupon available on Joanns website! I am looking forward to when I can return to this store, the next time I am in town!

Disappointed in the small selection of quilt fabric. It seems to get smaller all the time.

Its okay because there are so few places to get fabric here. The crafts side is hopelessly sparse, not the fault of staff. Better signage is needed all over the store. Prices are high but they do carry speciality material you cant get at Hobby Lobby or Wally. Didnt have the Star Trek fabric Ive seen in other locales. The workers are nice. Catch the sales, as their sales are good.

I love this Joann. While there could be a bigger selection of fabric types the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Ive been shopping here many years and can only recall 2-3 instances of a staffer being rude or uncertain of merchandise - and those employees didnt seem to stay on for long. If there was a larger variety of fabric types Id try and give this Joann 10 stars.

You can find almost everything you need to see here!! Always have things on clearance! Coupons come in the mail and by text often! Its got very friendly and helpful workers

Enjoyed visiting the Las Cruces location. I was looking for Cricut tools and blades. I found a good selection of both. I had to make my purchases in two purchases because i also paid for a special order. I was not allowed to use my 50% off coupon. Apparently cricut does not allow for any discount including a military discount. This is probably why the Exchange stores of military bases do not carry the Circut products. The woman Monica, and manager Rebecca were both an awesome resource for information. Glad I stopped in. UDATE:I returned to this location to pick up my special order. Im very happy to report that store employee, Clarrissa went out of her to not only expedite my order, she also assisted me with information about upcoming sales. This is by far the most helpful craft store I have ever visited.

They actually have a lot of tools and materials for artists, I wasnt aware of this. From outside all you see is fabric material but they actually have a lot of art supplies, from good alchohol based markers, paint, canvases, fabric paint, stands for canvases. I mean they have a lot, check them out for sure if youre into art.

I love this particular fabric store because of their seasonal & holiday fabric selections.

Overall it meets ones needs. But wait times can be aggravating with a prevailing SLOW pace at the fabric counter, the register, and getting help on the floor. The staff does not move fast for any reason.

Brook is an awesome manager of this store. I was looking for a specific fleece material for my grandson and she took the time to go on the internet and research it for me. Although the store was really busy she took time to help me and went ahead and ordered it for me. I will be back again and again!

They have a huge selection of fabric, findings, notions, and tools. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient. The only down side is their prices. If there is something you have to have and cant find it elsewhere in town, then this is the place.
