My wife and I were on my way home to South Carolina from Arizona when I heard a noise in my car. Being an auto mechanic myself, I knew it was a hub bearing going bad and that if I didnt get it fixed we would break down on the road. We were staying overnight in Las Cruces so I looked for a place to hopefully get it repaired in the morning. I went to Bernies at 7:45, explained my story and the car was on the lift being repaired 10 minutes later. I couldnt have expected better service if I had been a lifelong customer. I was done before 9AM and the price was exactly what I expected. A perfectly professional job at the right price. You cant ask for anything more.

Fast and affordable. Dropped my truck off at noon to get front and back brakes and rotars replaced. They had me back on the road by 3pm. Great place to work with, I highly recommend.

Great work was able to get it done so I could finish the last 700 miles of my life

Bernie is a great guy who has kept my various used vehicles running for some years now. He is fair, honest and does good work. Thats all I ask for from an auto repair shop, but its so rare to actually find it. Im so glad I did!

I had gone to another shop repeatedly for an issue with my brakes and parking brake. They never fixed it right, but to their credit, tried to make it right on 2 separate occasions.Then I remembered Bernie, his shop has been in business for years but I thought maybe he closed because it used to be called Brakes Plus.Bernie did it right the first time and alerted me to tread wear on my tires without being sales-y..Price was great too!I highly recommend. I had him service vehicles way before internet reviews, so I’m pleased to write this one.Bernie is one of the good guys!

Bernie and his crew are rockstars! They totally helped us out with new front wheel bearings (2012 Honda CRV) before a cross-country road trip.Good price and friendly, professional service.

Ive been coming to this shop for over a decade. Clearly this man is hurting for money because that seems like all he is interested in now and the quality of work has become sub par. Its no surprise that everytime I drive by here he has no customers. Never again.

Quality work without the inflated prices! The owner and his son are very honest, clean, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. They never try to push extra sales on you, and they make very honest recommendations. Free inspections are a plus. I don’t trust anyone else with my car. I’m a loyal customer for life!

I’ve taken my charger there to get my brakes done and to get new tires a couple of months ago. He did a great job on the install and charges decent prices. I will take my car back for a brake job or for new tires when I need it.

Awesome experience installing new brakes at the best price i could have asked for. Quick and honest. Even as i waited, the owner conversed with me who is a very simple person with a lot of experience.

I had my brakes done and was not satisfied with the work. Its a cheap price because the work is cheap. I was quoted a price and did not notice until after that he added more to the original verbal quote So on top of doing cheap work, he (the owner) is dishonest. I do NOT recommend Brakes Plus.

I looked all over Las Cruces for a good honest shop to get some work done on my 07 Chevy Avalanche LTZ it started to feel like I was just going to have to pay a high unfare price no matter what. But then all my luck turned around when I found Bernies Auto Repair they gave my a fare price on the labor and had my truck in and out before I could even finish watching a YouTube video I would recommend this shop to all my friends and family.

I took the car in for a breaks. The price was cheap but I do not believe it was well done. The breaks still squeak loudly. Will not be going here again.
