I keep trying to like this store and this chain. But Ive had it!They are ALWAYS out of whatever is advertised in their weekly flyer. (They have signs in the meat section, confirming the sale price. But the products right by the sign location do not correspond with anything nearby!) And theres never anyone stocking the shelves to ask if theres more hiding in the back. Then when your through hunting for the items on sale, that dont exist, you make your way up front to find theres only one register open! Thoroughly disgusted, I pushed my cart aside and walked out of the store.

Stop for a couple items they had what I needed and got a good prices and got out in a relatively good time they seem to be a little short on cashiers

I was very disappointed in this store after not having been there for several months. The store I used to go to on East Bay had closed and I didnt have a choice but to drive further to get the particular items I wanted which they did not have the frozen berries that I wanted and they did not have the bottled purified water that I go there to get. The store had just been renovated not that long ago but it looked dirty and there was no staff in sight to be helpful with questions and there was only one check out person for about eight people in line. I will not be going back to the store

Low prices is about all they have. Store is rarely stocked. If you have to got savealot go-to a different location. Super friendly staff though. Cashiers do the best they can when the store constantly has debit credit and ebt machine down, and advertised store specials are never on the shelf.

Good food, fast service.How come we are not receiving the weekly Save ALot Food Sales adds in the mail. We use to get it every week on Wed but since they closed their store in Keene Plaza we have not received the sales paper. Well theres another Save ALot on West Bay Dr & Clw/Largo Rd that I can shop but would like to know whats on sale before I shop! Could you please start delivering the adds on Roberta St area again?

Save a Lot, and I need to with the hIgh Cost of Living .

My experience at save a lot was great I find everything I am looking for and if I cant find it I ask someone in charge and they help me find the item I am looking for the place is clean and in order.

Zero stars would be more appropriate. Entire cooler case was empty, probably broken. Cashier was wearing mask under her nose and found it necessary to walk right up to me and potentially expose me to Covid-19. When I asked why she was wearing the mask wrong, she said the Manager didnt care. See my website for pictures .Nothing on sale was on the shelves, this place is an unbelievable dump.

The staff are so very friendly and yet cdc guides are very secured here. Always a discount to shop here. Cleanliness is important to them--never a box in the isle or spills. I 💘 my sav a lot! Oh! And service dog tolerant and again friendly.

The right price for certain things. Worth the trip every so often to restock the cupboards.

Lot of groceries for a lot less money. Meat sales are unreal but be sure the meat is still good. Meat sometimes gets left for too long.

Very friendly staff, great pharmacy staff always go out of their way to answer questions and take care of your concerns. I left Walgreens due to bad service and they can not hold a candle to CVS customer service. Shout out to Molly for her great service A+ pharmacist.

Prices on meat cant be beat. Not a huge selection but quite often have nice steaks for about half the price of any grocery chain. Produce prices are also good but Jams produce just down the street runs circles around Save-A-Lot and Publix. Bring your own bag.

Convenient and saves money on certain items

UPDATE: 😘Recently Save A Lot lowered many prices. It appears they are once again competitive for being quick, convenient and inexpensive. 👏👏👏PREVIOUS REVIEW:What can i say? I like Save A Lot. Small and convenient for that quick grocery shopping trip... As long as there isnt a long register line... Usually the cashiers are quick..Inexpensive on many items, but NOT the cheapest on everything. Still very reasonable.

This is the best Save-A-Lot location. Its super clean, always orderly, and the staff are all so sweet. The prices are what make me go but the condition of this store is what makes me drive out of my way to come to this location. I drive near two other locations on my way from work daily but they dont compare to this location at all. This one is the best! ! You are what the other locations should be like.

I usually don’t leave reviews but this store has really exceeded my expectations. I came here over a year ago when I was in town visiting family and the store was in shambles, rotting meat, moldy produce and just reeked of filth. I just moved back here and visited this store today because my mom told me the store had changed in the last few months. From the moment I walked in I noticed how clean and stocked the store was. The young lady who I later found out was the store manager helped me find a few things because the store was changed around from the last time I came. The line was getting a little long but she came right up when she was called by the cashier. I conversed with her while she was checking me out and she told me she just took over and I told her to keep up the good work. I will be returning. Clean environment with great prices and great customer service!

Well am having company wed.for dinner this is the only store where i can prepare.food for six grown ups they love what i serve them as i know,i can afford meats veg deserts chees plate variety breads they have elect. Chairs public bathrooms,the bathrooms dont care what sex you are,.huge parking lot off Eastbay Starkey meats put out fresh by butcher daily,cashiers always did ya find what you needed I of course smile tell yea of course you never disappoint me.

On this visit I just needed a few items. The store was well stocked and had what I was looking for. The cashier was very friendly and professional. The quality and the price of my items were quite acceptable. I would recommend this store for future purchases.

Save-A-Lot prices are hard to beat! Never overcrowded and they have most groceries I enjoy. The newer lower price thing is for real! Hard to beat the VALUE!

Has most varieties of food, have a good fair price. You need to bring your own shopping bags or boxes to carry your food in. Or you have to bye shopping bags. And you must bag your own groceries. Thats how they keep the prices at a low cost to the customer. Less employees

Stopped in today and noticed that you need a quarter now to use a shopping cart now like how it is at Aldi, but the quality and shopping experience isn’t as good as Aldi’s. This particular store is smaller and has a limited selection, it isn’t as clean as Aldi’s store and a lot of the products you can get still get cheaper at Aldi.I shop at this store a lot actually and normally those things wouldn’t bother me, but was disappointed when I saw that you had to pay $0.25 in order to use a shopping cart! If Sav-a-lot is going to try and be like Aldi then it really needs to step up its game.

Best thing about this store is the prices...of course us Save A Lot. I mostly shop there for the fresh vegetables....usually about the best price around...some times the vegs are a bit old, but just look closely and purchase with confidence....no issues. Remember to bring your own bag. No frills here.

Friendly store clean no smell good experience check out quick and cashier friendly answering all my question. The one thing that has change is theres no boxes for your items at one of the store that I visited today the West Bay store but the one on East Bay had boxes and willing to get it for me. But overall the two stores I visited was very good no complaints from me.

Ground Beef priced cheaper. Milk used to be the lowest price around. Went from $2.79 to $3.99.. Now I get milk at Wal-Mart. $2.99..

Good quality food at affordable prices. Parking lot always full. No one puts their carts back blocking parking spaces and locked wheels. Employees are very nice.

I appreciate the fact that the products are priced decently for people on a tight budget. Shopping here helps a lot when you live paycheck to paycheck. However today I was at the location off of Clearwater/Largo Rd around 4:30-5pm and the cashier was quite rude to me. He basically seemed as though he didnt want to be there and lacked customer service skills. There was a Now Hiring sign in the window and seeing as Im in need of job but have limited availability I asked if he knew what shifts they were looking to fill. He at first told me that he didnt think they were hiring. So I stated that if they were not hiring then they should take down the sign. Thats when his attitude really shined. I didnt really respond much because I was just shocked with the way he was speaking to me. He finished ringing up my items and I had to ask how much I owed. Ive been in the customer service industry I would have never spoken to a customer the way this man spoke to me. Its one thing for the cashiers to be slow, but adding rude into the mix is bad for business.

Went once and will never go back. Did not feel welcome in there at all. Prices on most of the items were good (that is why I gave a star for that). I bought a package of spareribs at a good sale price. They were tough and difficult to eat. I have been cooking up ribs for a long time, and this was inferior quality meat. Also I bought a package of corn tortillas and when I opened them, the tortillas were all broken up into pieces and useless. My advice, dont go.

Things are changing at Sav-a-lot, they must have some new buyers. Ive heard it from other people that some of the things they use to like to buy have been taken off the shelves and wont be retuning. At the same time, those people said they wont be returning either, theres other places to shop. Personally, I miss their version of a cold Starbucks frappuccino.
