I called 3-4 places to check about getting a garage door opener either fixed or replaced. Kurt was the only person on the phone who even pretended that a repair or a fix for $250 less than getting a replacement might be an option. When he come to the house he checked out the current opener and made a minor repair that has my door working now.Cant speak to the others regarding their issues in these reviews but if you are interested in hiring a person that will do less expensive repair work than replacement work if its possible then try American Door - it worked for me - I have a garage door opener working and I spent $250 less than expected.

Liars, Curt would avoid calling me back. I would call from my cell and he would not answer because know my number. I would borrow a friends phone and call and he would answer right away.This happened 2 different times having to use 2 different friends phones. Once I called from an unknown phone he would answer.Very flakey. Dont waste your time. Call someone more reputable.

American Door put in a garage door for me. It worked for a while, but while still under warranty the remote controls would not work anymore. After repeated calls they replaced the remote controls and that worked for about a week. Now the door will not open or close with the remote openers. Ive called and left messages. several days later someone called and said they were out of town and would call when they returned. Ive called again and no return call. I do not recommend this company!!!

I am an Air Force member that followed up several times as to the installation of a door our unit paid for over a year ago. Apparently, there was a lapse with the installation company/contract side of things and we continue to get the run around. I spoke with Terry who stated that Kurt would be overnighting him a key to access our door and materials ...Terry did not return my call in 30 minutes as promised, nor could he provide me with a supervisor/manager information which it turns out through reading these reviews that this is Kurt. How does your company stay in business??

11/1815 I called and spoke with Kurt.. I set up for him to go out and bid a door that needed to replaced. After about 2-3 days I called him to ask where the proposal was. Oh, im not in the office at the moment... Ill send it to you when I get back in.. Great? Yeah sure. Thats how three phone calls went over the span of 2 weeks. My last two phone calls went to voicemail and he has yet to call me back. If you didnt want to replace the door or felt as if you werent able to, a profession courteous of hey.. cant do this wouldve been acceptable. Over a month and im still waiting.I will never refer anyone to this business.Wasted my time.THANKS, KURT.

WARNING BUSINESS Must be CLOSED...... a rep posing as the owner Kurt came to my business after a week of calling, said he would do the job, and would send me a proposal with pricing. Never answered any calls or emails after that. THIS COMPANY IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL, IF THEY OFFERED TO DO THE WORK FOR FREE I WOULD TRUST THEM......

Had these guys scheduled to come out and give me an estimate. Nobody showed so I called them and Terry said hed come right over. He did. Gave me a verbal estimate on the repair which was a great price and then said he needed to go back and check if the parts were in Stock and hed call me. That was Tuesday. No call by the following Monday I called and Terry said oh yeah I called and left you a message (he didnt) and I dont have your paperwork but Ill be back in the office in an hour and Ill call you. He didnt. Im done chasing these guys. How unprofessional.

Paid in advance for doors and have gotten excuse after excuse as to why they are still not in two months later. Kurt will no longer answer phone calls or emails regarding refund.

I was told they would be out the next day to repair my door...They never showed or called. I tried to call them but they disconnected their phone.Would not trust them to change a light bulb !

Horrible customer service ordered a door been 3 weeks now left several messages no responce no return phone calls i would reccomend going somewhere else they got door order was very nice on the phone but after that is was a very unpleasant experience
