Nice place when its open. I dont know why they decide to randomly not show up. I guess they dont want to hire people to sell while theyre gone. Happened to me twice now.

Im just getting into cigars and the guy there was a big help in selecting something I might like. Turns out the choices he made were spot on. He also made sure I was fully equipped and gave me some advice to get me started.

People are great when they are open. Wednesday 3/11/20 12:43 and they are closed. This time I was only picking up 4-6 sticks. But I was here in December to get $200 worth of cigars for a holiday party. They were closed afternoon as well. Ace cigars you are losing business by not having consistent hours.

I have recently moved a few miles down the road, so I no longer have this place around the corner. This place is the kind of shop I wish more shops were like. It’s not a shop designed around pushing a cigar brand. It’s not about the most expensive cigar. The owner is knowledgeable makes it the kind of place you say “ man, I wish it was closer.” I’ll just have to make a special visit on the weekend.

Found out the place had the cigar Ive been scouring the earth for. Ended up buying the whole box.

My former cigar and lounge had closed its doors so I was looking for a new home. I instantly found it shortly after entering the door to ACE. After I was warmly welcomed by Tattoo, exchanged introductions, and bought my cigar I joined the others in the lounge. Tattoo introduced me to each patron individually. Everyone was extremely welcoming and are a long-time family of ACE cigar lounge regulars. Tattoo warmly greeted all new and former customers who entered providing each person with excellent customer service and shared his seasoned knowledge with newbie uninformed customers. In the lounge, the conversations were very enjoyable and I was introduced and greeted by every regular who joined the party. I finally met the man himself when he arrived. ACE treated me as if I had been a long time regular as he offered a beverage. I have found my new cigar lounge home and will tell my friends. One more thing, the well-stocked cigars are properly cared for.

Not a great experience here. Dirty, dusty and the guy doesnt help.

I went in to buy a gift for the holidays and the staff were super nice and helped me pick out something perfect. Not pushy at all and didnt try to oversell anything. Very highly recommend.

I drive over an hour to and from Ace Cigars to get an incredible selection of reasonably priced premium cigars. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the products theyre selling. They invite you to sit and relax in the lounge and enjoy visiting with fellow cigar smokers. Ive met great people and have experienced great times over the past several years and will continue to. Ace is a true friend and gentleman to his customers.

Only good things to say about the product, service and location.HOWEVER - maybe it was the evening I chose to go there, it was VERY smokey, my eyes watered after just a few minutes. That didn’t bother me, what bothers me is the owner’s dog...the dog is a SWEETHEART and bless his heart he’s breathing in all this smoke for hours on end.Note to owner - I’m sure you love your dog, but please give him clean air to breathe...he can’t speak for himself and my heart was broken when I saw that.

The place was dirty and dingy. They did not have what I was looking for. I will not return. Fortunately we have plenty of good cigar shops in the area.

Pretty decent cigar shop. Just happened across them while visiting family over that way. I was walking in as the eclipse was happening and one of the employees asked me if wanted to see. We shared his glasses and got some looks. Then I went found a cigar and was on my way.

I actually stopped by to buy a cigar for a friend. The staff was great. They are really into cigars and try to share their knowledge with their customers. In the few mins I spent where, I learned a lot about the growing and cultivating of cigars.

I want to start by saying I have been smoking premium hand rolled cigars for 25 years and have been going to Ace Cigars on and off (due to not smoking cigars for a year or two here or there) for many years at the old and new location. At different times in my life I have been a hardcore avid cigar smoker attending dozens of events mainly throughout Pinellas and Hillsborough counties, spending hundreds of hours, if not thousands, unwinding in cigar lounges (12-15 hours some days) and have been steeped in Floridas cigar culture. I have been in cigar shops in many states across America in small towns and big towns. I have tried over 200+ labels over the years. Sometimes 5-10 different cigars by the same cigar maker. I was humidifying over 700 premium cigars in my home at one point and have cigar-related memorabilia and advertising from many brands. I say all of this not to bore anyone, to brag or because I think I am an expert in any way shape or form, but rather to give you background on the type of person who is writing this review.The owner of Ace Cigars is a standup guy who genuinely cares for the needs of his customers and has always been willing to discuss the products that he carries openly and honestly over the years, whether pointing you to a product that fits your needs or steering you away from another. He carries a decent variety of cigars that the majority of avid cigar smokers should have no problem finding several types to fit their desired flavor profile, gauge, wrapper shade, draw, burn...etc. The atmosphere here is always relaxed and welcoming. The only thing that may need to be improved upon is increased ventilation by either installing, updating or adding smoke eaters to the facility as I do not know what the current process is for reducing the volume of smoke in the room, but lingering smoke can occur in even the most elaberate lounge setups. Otherwise, this shop has been and is one of the best places in the area to patronize. This review is 100% my own personal opinion and I do not personally know the owner (other than being a customer of his shop) and did not mention to him that I would be writing this review. Nor was I compensated in any way, shape or form for writing this review, in case you may have been thinking those things!

Seems okay cigars are okay, website advertises pipes and pipe tobacco, though after calling in they said they dont really carry pipe tobaccos which is slightly confusing in my opinion, would be four or five stars with a more well rounded variance in tobacco products, based on my few experiences there though for just cigars not bad

Average pricing and service. Not bad but nothing special about in-store experience. Never finished building out interior when store moved location.

Good size. Humidor cabinets hold the most familiar brands. Big screen tvs, leather seating, softdrinks, no beer or wine. Friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
