I have used this company for years after meeting them at a home show 11 years ago. I was nervous because they changed ownership at some point and I was concerned the customer service would not be the same. My kitchen renovation was due to a Tropical Storm. I didnt plan on the remodel. I was not nice. I was very stressed out as I was out of my home for three months due to many other items that had to be attended to. Leslie was great. She was firm yet nurturing. The cabinets came in on time and they are beautiful. My house is basically new and my kitchen is the center point of my home. I come in my house and cant believe its my kitchen. They have amazing pricing for the quality. If yourre flipping a home or decorating your dream home they have great pricing. I highly recommend this company!

I would not recommend this business. This is my opinion based on personal experience. I utilized the free design offering explicitly noted on their website which is stated as follows: “ Our professional designers will create a FREE layout with 3-D color renderings.”Gary created us a few mock ups with our space parameters. At the time, we were in the construction phase of our home and openly received mock ups and bids from a few other retailers as well. Ultimately we elected to use another company because it was a better fit for us and we had concerns after meeting Gary in person and requesting black cabinets because he repeatedly handed us brown samples asking “if they were black enough” for us. Black and brown are not the same color. We did not use Gary’s design for our final purposes. At one point when he found out I was consulting with Ikea he snapped to me “have fun with your particleboard,” despite me not being committed to any product at that time or having any personal issue with Ikea products. This comment also caused me concern for following through on an order with him.When we decided to go another direction altogether, the following text stream commenced:Me: “At this time we do not require anything further but will certainly let you know if we do. Thank you, Gary!”Gary: “I’m happy to hear that you took my hard earned work and gave it for free to someone else! It’s good that you were able to shop my work and save money! Congratulations to you.”I called the store owner to inform him of the message. Without me telling him his name, he guessed it was Gary. When I asked if this type of professionalism is tolerated in his work environment he stated that he wouldn’t fire him, if that’s what I was asking and that this was “the nature of the business.” Hearing this told me all I needed to know about Direct Renovations, the management, and the support staff. I sent the owner the screenshot and an email as a follow up and didn’t hear back, but I also didn’t expect or ask to be.I kept wondering if something had happened during delivery or with the products themselves, what type of support or following up would ensue if this is how they talk to potential clients for simply taking them up on a service explicitly noted that they provide on their website. Im glad I didn’t stick around to find out.

Our experience was wonderful. Already had a definite idea for our kitchen face lift, which included new cabinets, countertop etc. No change in the footprint so when we met with Lesley she grasped our ideas immediately. She was excellent, listened well made suggestions and gave us wonderful tips. Living 2 hours away we did the initial plan together and all other revisions by phone, there were 4, she would email the changes we would review them and get back to her. We placed our order and received our cabinets ahead of time. We chose to go with FabuWood and are very happy with the quality for the price point. They were delivered ahead of schedule fully assembled, safely boxed and protected without a scratch. Could not be happier with our experience! Everyone we encountered most only by phone were wonderful. Highly recommend Direct Renovation Products, and will use them again should a new project arise.

Great Experience, I love my cabinets.

As a general contractor we have worked with Direct Renovations on over 50 projects. Their quality of product, level of service and professionalism has consistently been top notch.

All of the staff a DRP on East Bay Drive in Largo were exceptional. They delivered a quality product exactly to my specifications and assisted me in selecting a style and configuration that suited my needs and budget. Delivery was accomplished on an acceptable time schedule during this pandemic and over the holidays. Their selection is extensive and their sales people knowledgeable. So far the best experience and I saved alot of money over going to home depot or lowes for the same product.

We just signed our contract with Parker Maraventano for our home projects, he was very knowledgeable with your company, the products and went over and above with details. We are anxious to have our home projects started and completed with Direct Models.

Showroom staff very knowledgeable and helpful in cabinet selection and kitchen design. A pleasure to work with. Warehouse, delivery staff worked well with our installer. Overall, I couldn’t be happier!

Buyer Beware!!! This is a very unprofessional company with horrendous customer service. I ordered three kitchens from them for different houses and they were all wrong. They will not honor their word and only want to separate you from your money. Im sure theyll respond with some lame excuse to this post, but follow it, because my three customers will be posting their reviews shortly. Everyone cant be wrong can they? These people should not be in business - STAY AWAYBTW, two of the five star ratings are the owner himself. What does that tell you when he needs to toot his own horn - joke!UPDATE:I told you the owner would respond with a bunch of false statements. The credit card company is currently investigating and has not made a determination. Stay tuned as Ive asked my customers to share their experiences with this outfit. I trusted them to do their job. They met with my customers and assured me that everything was exactly as discussed with my clients. Thats the only reason I signed their order. I have emails and text messages from their salesperson assuring me that everything was perfect and to please sign their order and pay them so we could receive our cabinets. The nerve on this guy blaming this on me is unbelievable., but dont take it from me. Read what the customers have to say. Theyre not going by anything I tell them. Theyre relating their own personal experiences with this MOST incompetent business.I reached out to this owner asking to meet with him to try to resolve all of the problems that his staff had created and to avoid any of this, including legal action. His immediate response was to tell call that a threat and refuse to speak with me any further, stating that I should direct any communication to his attorney!!! Hes said that to another customer of mine as well. But, again, dont take my word for it - follow the reviews and read what the actual customers have to say about how they were treated by these people. The previous owner (Richard) was a great guy and that is how I ended up stuck with them - wont happen again! They used to be a good company to work with but not anymore. This new Owner is running it into the ground and Id be very surprised if he lasts very long. What a shame.

I recently ordered kitchen cabinets from these folks, and am impressed with their design, quality, and customer service. I do not write reviews, normally, but I had to take a moment to comment. For the amount I paid (under $4000 for the entire kitchen), I am surprised at the fit and consistency of my new kitchen cabinets. The designer, Gary, was competent and knowledgeable, and the customer service person (Aymee) made sure I had any info I needed about the order. The delivery guys were on time and friendly. It is rare to have such a good experience with a company (many people dont seem to care), but I had a good time with these people!

DRP cabinets are excellent. I purchased DRP cabinets for both my kitchen and bathroom. All wood, not like box stores. No plastic corner supports in DRP cabinets. A very easy business to do business with. Their team is very easy to work with in finding the best design. I will be using them again very soon for additional bathroom vanities. A++

There was no partial truth. This is a perfect example of not reading and that is what happened with me. My note here says I came into your store to ask to see the notes where Gary wrote down we were going with Gray cabinet in the bathroom and island in the kitchen. She spent an hour with him and they only looked at gray cabinets and he wrote down the color.Simple fact is, this has nothing to do with Gus, I would hope your designers are capable of listening to the client which we were since we picked out the colors. Just like you did not read the comment I wrote, I never said I had notes I came to see the notes your staff took when we sat down.Bottom line like I said before, this was my experience and I hope I am the only one that has to go thru this. The problem is Gary wrote down Gray cabinets and could not order what we asked him to.I know nothing about Gus Lopez only telling me what he wants me to know. I am going to reveal the facts of my dealing with First Ray, and then Gary. These are the two designers I worked with in the store. My wife and I entered in the store and worked with Ray. He helped design our kitchen to our satisfaction. His communication and timelines that he promised were not met but we were happy with the outcome of our original plans. Gus, emailed us our design for final approval and at that point the design was completely wrong. It matched nothing that we had done. Our sink was in the wrong place, our microwave had been removed from our island and all our drawers were different sizes (known fact because I could see with my own eyes). I do not know this for fact but because of the mess up, Ray was removed and we were told that Gary was more competent and would be taking over our job. My wife sat with Gary and picked out Colors for our bathroom cabinets and our island. Our kitchen cabinets were supposed to be white and bathrooms and island gray. The whole reason we ended up at Direct Renovation was because they had gray cabinets and the original cabinet place we were looking did not have the gray shaker cabinets that we wanted. Gary laid out the gray cabinets for my wife, took notes and said we were all set. When the cabinets came in they were all white. I read the owners note about Gus telling us what he wants us to hear, and maybe he signed off on the cabinets but the bottom line is I thought I was the customer since day one. Gus asked me to go in and pick colors which I did, and they were all wrong. I worked with 2 people in this store and they both got it wrong. I am just a customer who wanted a nice kitchen and new bathrooms and now I am stuck with something that I did not pick out. In closing, I went to the store to have them show me the notes where My wife spent 1 hour with Gary picking colors and I was shut down by the owner telling me I needed to talk to his attorney. This was my dealings with Direct Renovation and also the first post I have ever written because I was so angry with the way they handled this. Usually when a customer comes in to talk to a business they would be more willing to help. I know what our conversation was with the store, I know the color we picked and they got it wrong. These are facts that I would testify to in court. I hope nobody has to experience what I have had to.
