These guys are awesome. If you have any questions about jeeps of any year. Call them. I had to replace the transmission and transfer case in my 1989 with one from a newer jeep. They were able to talk me through just what I needed to get me back on the road.

I highly recommend Just Jeeps for all your Jeep improvements and repairs. Dee is a real pro and came up with the greatest custom rims and tires for my Wrangler. I have a one of a kind look thats definitely turning heads. He also repaired a few items that were essential to my Jeep being in tip top condition. My Jeep had a VERY scary DEATH WOBBLE, among other problems (due to the previous owner)— Just Jeeps was able to identify and FIX my very uniquely complicated Death Wobble! DO NOT USE! I took my car to diagnose an oil leak and a clunking noise in the front end. He said the oil leak was a valve cover gasket but it turns out it was the rear main seal (2 mechanics verified this). I authorized the bogus repair and 2 weeks later he said he did not replace the gasket when the car was ready to pick up. The clunking noise he said he was confident it was ball joints on my initial phone call. After having my car for 2 weeks he presented a bill for $2700 for front end work that he NEVER mentioned I needed on the follow up call. My whole front end was after market from a lift and was working just fine aside from the clunking noise. I did not have a death wobble. It actually turned out that my bushings were bad in my after market lower control arms, which he did not include in the $2700 repair order. The front end work he claimed he did was 100% unwarranted and not required to fix the clunking noise, and I am confident he was just trying to make a fast buck. The work he claimed he did was also way overpriced. In his defense, he did not charge me for the work after I got upset. Two auto repair shops in St Pete called him out for being a horrible business/person, which is why I suspect he was either intentionally or unintentionally ripping me off, and what prompted me to post this review. DO NOT USE HIM UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOUR CAR FOR A LONG TIME. POSTED NOV 4TH 2020.

Dee at Just Jeeps does great work and is the most knowledgeable Jeep mechanic in the area. He has very reasonable rates and will work with people to help get their Jeep back on the road. The best part is when you pick up your Jeep you know it has been repaired correctly and fairly. Dee and Just Jeeps has helped me and my Jeep JK out on numerous occasions. Theyve resolved my death wobble issue! Dee has replaced many parts as I bought my Jeep used. Resulting in parts going out from wear and tear. My radiator, alternator, lug nuts, ball barrings, header, dual stabilizer, tires were all replaced by this shop. Along with some minor mods, such as taking my back spare wheel off.Not only has this shop helped me with my jeep issues, Ive learned much by the expertise of the owner.I love this shop, as they are good to their loyal customers!

D went over and above to make sure I had a great experience. He even made an upgrade that we talked about without charging me extra. AND he picked me up, brought me to the shop because he knew it was the only car I have. Not saying he can do this every time, because he is constantly slammed (he is that good) but very cool! They don’t make them like him anymore. I will never go anywhere else for my Jeep.

I will recommend Just Jeeps of Largo to all Jeep owners! I bought a 2010 Wrangler and had a list of repairs I wanted done. Dee took my list and went to work. I had many of the steering components replaced, a new radiator installed and all the fluids and filters changed. Dee went above and beyond to have my Jeep ready for a planned trip to Daytona. One of the hubs he replaced was so rusted that he had to use a torch to cut it off. He did that to save me money instead of taking the easier and faster route of replacing the axle. Dee is brilliant when it comes to jeeps. Ive been taking my Jeep to dee for about 4 years now and I wouldnt take it anywhere else. Dee has done cosmetic work, including new wheels and tires, new flares, and installed a new top. Ive also had a full tune up, multiple oil changes, a new starter put in, and repair from squirrels/rats chewing wires in my engine. Dee works alone and does take some time to do his work, but he is very honest and fairly priced.

My Jeep has almost 350k miles on it and its only lasted this long because Just Jeeps has kept her on the road all this time. Thank you for always finding out whats wrong and for getting Jada back on the road and putting my mind at ease. Its such a pleasure doing business with an honest mechanic!

We called Dee after a fellow coastie recommended his shop. Our 2004 wrangler had a death wobble, and after spending time on the phone with my out-of-state jeeping uncle, on multiple jeep blogs and auto sites, we were a bit overwhelmed/ confused about trying to fix it ourselves. We knew it was probably several issues working together and needed someone knowledgeable to just look at it for us. Dee returned my phone call within the hour and told me he was keeping the lift up and open for us so we could just come by after hubby was off work. When we got there, he put the jeep up and showed us exactly what was going on and how he knew. I liked that, and didnt feel at all like he was going to try to hide anything or fix things that didnt need to be fixed. It was indeed several things working together, but he gave us a quote and explained exactly how he was going to fix it. After talking with my uncle again/ looking up the parts we knew his price was more than fair and that he knew exactly what he was talking about. Dee had our jeep fixed 2 days later AND told us that when he test drove it, he realized it was actually a DOUBLE wobble and the back track bar needed to be replaced as well. He ALSO realized our front brakes needed to be done badly and DID them- hoses, calipers, pads, etc. He kept his original quote and just did the other things too. The jeep drives beautifully and its so great to have it back- knowing that its safe to drive and fixed thoroughly. I appreciated Dees expertise as well as his desire to help our family. He went above and beyond for us, simply because he wanted to and he wanted to fix it right. Yes theres a 3% credit card service fee (all businesses have them) and sure its inconvenient BUT Ill do business with someone like Dee any time and would rather support his business than anyone else. Thanks to Dee for his time, knowledge, willingness to answer questions/ explain, and for his extra mile work ethic.

I plan on bringing my jeep here but Im nervous about some of the negative feedback they have. I did talk to the owner for a god bit and loves to talk about how great he is and how he worked his way up from doing details when he was younger. If he is as good as he says he is then Im hoping he will be able to fix my issue. I will be checking around to see if i can find another place with a better bedside manner. If not il have to take take the risk and make sure everything is agreed upfront

This man is a legend! Stopped here for some advice on Cherokee parts I’ve been struggling to find and he hooked me up with what I needed and gave me a ton of good advice. Dee is super nice and down to earth, not too many people are like this anymore.

I can’t say enough good things about Dee and his staff. They went the extra mile for me. The wiring harness to my electric fan was top notch. With his fleet of donor Jeeps we were able to get a discontinued part to keep me up and running. I wish I brought my XJ in earlier for my overheating issues - it would have saved me a lot of time and money chasing down the issue. Thank you guys for a wonderful experience.

I set an appointment to have my Jeep repaired here. The owner arrived on time, was quick, affordable, and fixed more than what I pad him to do. We discussed future plans for my jeep to keep it in good health and upgrade it. Owner knows more about Jeeps than any other local outfit because he does JUST JEEPS. I plan on returning for future projects and/or vehicle disasters.

Dee is a lifesaver, literally! A few years ago, my 02’ Wrangler had death wobble & my previous mechanic couldn’t diagnose or repair the issue (or any of the other weird things that can arise with Jeeps). My regular mechanic was a family friend & great mechanic with all my previous cars over the years, but I really needed to find a Jeep specialist. Thankfully someone recommended taking it to Just Jeeps. I was immediately impressed with Dee’s Jeep knowledge. I can give him a vague symptom description & even before physical inspection, his initial guess has always been on the money. Dee really knows his Jeep stuff! He has permenantly solved all of the Jeep mysteries I’ve thrown at him & gets me back on the road in an affordable & timely manner. Unfortunately, some mechanics (not all) will stereotype women (and some men) by assuming we’re clueless about vehicles & will give you a BS diagnosis with a hefty price tag. Sadly I’ve had a few even attempt to rip me off on an ongoing basis by disconnecting lines & purposely breaking things, thinking I’d never question anything & keep coming back to repair whatever random thing they claim is broken. Dee is actually a genuine guy that has always taken the time to show me exactly whats going on & he will explain everything in detail before & after repairs. He’s very passionate about Jeeps & he’s taught me so much about Jeeps by goi g above & beyond to educate me on anything I ask about & he’s even taught me how to self diagnose common Wrangler issues. He is trustworthy & he’s straight up about what needs to be repaired right away & what I can hold off on a while. There is nowhere else I would trust with my Jeep. I just wish I found Just Jeeps sooner!

THE BEST JEEP REPAIR IN TOWN!! I have gotten more work done here and my Jeep always runs better, rides better and is tip top when I leave. This guy knows his stuff and his prices are competitive with everyone in the area. Plus is one of the only small shops that can do a computer diagnostic.

Completely unprofessional. Did not provide one invoice with services performed in writing. Gave one figure before was performed, did the work, then gave another figure after the work was performed. He advised 1500 verbally then said 3800 after the work was done. Dont go here. They rip you off!!!

Jeff went above and beyond on my 98 Jeep Wrangler. The engine looks brand new and runs like a thoroughbred. Definitely recommend this place!Repeat customer here. They may be great at working on Jeeps but they are not the sole Jeep repair facility around this area. I have some work I need completed on my CJ5 and Ive repeatedly called to discuss it with someone and schedule a future date to get my Jeep repaired and Im always told to call back again and again. This military veteran will search elsewhere for someone that wants my business. My initial review was 4 years ago and 4 months ago, I get a response. I was never ripped off by another business, just put off over and over by this one!

I used to Deliver auto parts to this guy. He doesnt waste his time with junk parts, knows jeeps like the back of his hand, and is a very nice guy to talk to. Ive seen plenty of local shops and talked to the owners, and this is one of the trustworthy places to go.

This review is to clarify that Stephen unfortunately bought a jeep that the previous owner chose to lubricate with water! EVERY part installed on Stephens jeep is new with the exception of a used transfer case housing from the shop owners personal project! Stephens housing was destroyed by lack of lubrication. His transfer case has been completely rebuilt.A complete copy of his bill will be posted on just jeeps Facebook page so people can see how little he was charged for an enormous project. The fact that Jeff owns jeffs jeep yard, a totally different place and Stephen cant distinguish between who he dealt with is confusing. Just Jeeps doesnt have any reputation for using junk parts. All of Stephens parts have a one year warranty as well as the labor. To date not a single call about any mechanical problems??? Be careful of reviews that are odd as they are usually grossly inaccurate. Our apologies to Mr Brown in the other one star review. Most of the time Dee is the only tech and he works six to seven days a week. There are times when another jeep cant be booked for weeks. The work is worth waiting for...

Guy is WAY overpriced and very shady. He claimed a jeep was his daily driver when its not even his. He is selling it privately outside of his inventory so he doesnt have to pay taxes on it. Dont recommend him at all. He lives to rip people off

Please do not go to this shop!!!! i took my 1995 jeep yj to this guy, he told me for 100.00 he would go bumper to bumper and tell me everything that was wrong with my jeep. So i left it in the lot and waited and waited and waited after 4 weeks i call Dee jeff he says his co worker was injured and he will need another week to get my jeep diagnosis down. So i wait a week and call again. And again Dee jeff needed more time to even look at my jeep. To make a very long and angry story short, after 3 and a half months of my jeep sitting in this guys lot, another 2 weeks go by and he finally got my jeep on the lift. Another 2 weeks go by and i get a call form Dee Jeff he said i should come in to the shop and see whats wrong with the jeep. my jeep was on the lift and only the back axle was on. He showed me a whole bunch of chewed up parts that was my transfer case he said to fix everything it would cost around 2,500 i told him to fix it of course, And instead of just going bumper to bumper and telling me what was wrong, he calls me tells me my jeep was done and was ready to be picked up. for $ 3,000, by the time i was able to get my jeep back he told me the final cost would be $ 3,400. but instead of brand new parts, a full serviced engine, a parts list, and problem list. All he did was pick used parts up from around his shop and threw them into my jeep. I have talked to some other clients and they have story almost exactly like mine. For 3,400 bucks i could have thrown in what i wanted not used BS parts.
