(No worries, he seems very down to earth)One van I had, he said it wasnt worth the cost to fix it.... It lasted just about as long as he predicted and ...the things he said were going -did.He repaired the tie-rods and such on my PT cruiser and it was like new and lasted...I have searched ..He always has friendly staff and I highly recommend carcentric- 100% worth my drive

Took my car in for an inspection at the Largo location (first time there), they checked everything and replaced my front headlight bulb. They offer complimentary pick up and drop off service within a certain radius. They also rotate tires when they do an oil change. They also take the time to explain things to you. Definitely will be back.

I absolutely cannot say enough about how amazing Ed and Brandon are. Weve been with them for years and will keep going as long as theyll have us. Honest, fast, skilled. I once took my car in with squealing brakes expecting to have them replaced and probably the rotors, too. Ed looked them over and said everything was in good shape, theyre just squeaky. Washed my car and sent me on my way without paying a dime. When there is something wrong, they fix it so fast. Dropped my other car off last night and they had it fixed by 10:30am today. LOVE THEM!

Ed and Brandon have fixed my car more than a few times...anything from a coolant leak to exhaust issues. I am always given a truthful explanation to what is going on with my car and offered all options available to repair it. When the tow truck arrived with the car Ed, Brandon, AND newest addition Mike all came out and around to see what the problem could be. I felt like we had just arrived at the hospital and the docs were all rushing out to see the if the patient was ok. Within minutes Brandon and Ed had determined it was the water pump. It was approximately 4pm on Saturday (they close at 5) and Ed was ready to see if he could find the parts etc. to get me back on the road right then. I told him it was too late and that Monday would be fine. By 1pm Monday Mike was calling to tell me my car was all ready. I couldnt ask for any better service...A+++++++

I dropped my car off to be checked out & had a list of things I wanted done, told them I wasnt in a rush, my list was long & I wanted to give them plenty of time & not be pressured. They had my car 5 days, but only managed to do an oil change & check it over, their estimate for work they said I needed was nearly 2k, they never called me to tell me what work was needed Fortunately they didnt do that work, but 5 days for an oil change ?!? The work on my list they said wasnt needed. I keep really good records of maintenance & mileage & the work I had requested was needed according to the mileage since the previous service in those areas. They were friendly enough & I wasnt ripped off by any means, but they need to have better communication with their customers as I wasnt informed of those costly problems until I arrived to get my car. I dont see myself returning here, but they had been highly recommend to me by several people.

Best shop around!! Timing chains went in our truck and my mom just had work done there so we gave it a shot. ED was able to find us a motor and have us running in a week and now were back on the road. These guys are top notch! The most honest and knowledgeable mechanics I have ever dealt with. You would be doing yourself a GREAT disservice by taking your automobile to anyone else. They go above and beyond and the customer service is heads above ANY other shop.

Ive used Car Centric 4 separate times now. In every single case, they were courteous and affordable. This week, they looked at my breaks, because they were acting up. They diagnosed the part and even found me a good used electronic component for less than 1/4 of the price. I cant tell you how nice it is to work with nice honest guys.

I own a Cadillac STS and recently moved to the Tampa Bay area. Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful. I brought my vehicle to a local service shop to have the engine light diagnose, they quoted me $3,200 (timing chain repair). After rigorously searching with many opinions/quotes, a friend told me about Car Centric in Safety Harbor.Upon my arrival (Car Centric), I noticed how clean and well organized the shop was. I meet Ed and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely concerned with my vehicle issues.To make a long story short, Car Centric not only repaired my timing chain but replaced the motor mounts for far less than any quote I received.The services was excellent and job was completed in a timely matter. I FOUND MY MECHANIC!!!

This is one of the best auto repair places Ive used. I stopped by on the advice of a friend and because I received a very high estimate from another place to fix my cars ac . I arrived at 5:30 pm just to really get a feel, but they offered to take a quick look for me. Ten minutes later I received a quote which was half of the other. Ed said it could take a day or day and a half so I was trying to figure what to do without a car for two days. OH, he offered his as a loaner! When has THAT ever happened? They called me close to 6 pm on day one and my car is nice and cool. Such nice guys and a lovely shop with tv, coffee, water and even snacks. I found my new mechanic in Safety Harbor.

I went because my stater was acting up. They werent able to get it to replicate at the time bit told me to come back when it did. That they didnt want to just have e put a new starter in if I didnt have to. A nice waiting room friendly and polite and very upfront.

Ed was nice enough to take time out of his busy Friday, to look over our 1993 pos. What a nice and friendly place where pets and children are welcome. The office and waiting area are very neat and clean. The waiting area has a TV and toys for the kidos, and coffee and snacks. If you dont want to wait, the main street of safety harbor is two blocks away! We walked around a grabbed some lunch. The guys welcome children of the furry variety too. With lots of lovins and treats! We left happy with an oil change and a not so bad diagnosis on the rest of the health of our old girl. We will be bringing both cars here for now on. Wonderful people! Fair prices!

I first met Ed 4 yrs ago when i moved to Dunedin. That was after id spent way too much at Firestone for a questionable needed repair. (Firestone charges $115 an hour labor!!!!) Ed was at a Mikes Automotive at that time.And has since moved on and opened a garage with Brandon in downtown Safety Harbor. I can HONESTLY tell you that you can rest assured you are getting STELLAR service with these 2 guys. They charge $65 an hr labor and do an HONEST days work everyday! I take my car to them a few times a year for maintenance and always ask them to please go thru my car and let me know any needed repairs. Ed also installed a car stereo for me that i put him in charge of picking out. He picked a Pioneer bluetooth stereo and he also has the knowledge of wiring it up to better boost sound!! PERK!!I have so many great things to say about these guys! I am a single gal that works ridicules schedules and these guys have ALWAYS stepped up to the plate in accommodating me. I live downtown Dunedin and they have no reservations in bringing me home and picking me up when my car is done. They are the real deal people when it comes to trusting your vehicles are getting honest, knowledgeable,precise service.I urge you to please support locally owned small businesses. Just returned from picking up my car from Carcentric. What a pleasure to have a problem with your car--when you know for certain that you are going to be treated fairly and your car is going to be fixed properly each and every time you take it to these mechanics. The difference between Carcentric and Mikes Dealer Alternative (where I took my car for 2 simple problems--paid over 300 dollars and neither problem was fixed) is like the difference between a dungeon where are begotten the things of fetid slime and a domed firmament inlaid with stars. Carcentric is the latter. If Mikes Dealer Alternative were a veterinarian--I wouldnt let him treat my dog for diarrhea. I am a retired English Professor--who lives meagerly on his social security. I cannot afford to take my vehicle to any place but to an honest mechanic. Fortunately, I have found one.
