I originally had a engine built by Rob (the owner) approximately 12 years ago on a mustang that I was restoring and everything was top notch. Recently I had a motor rebuild for my Jeep that I am restoring. Before the work was done, we discussed the horsepower that I wanted to achieve and an agreed price for what that would take. I agreed to the price of the rebuild because I had confidence in his work from my past experience. The horsepower came in at 100hp short and never saw proof of what it actually was from the Dyno results that he supposedly performed. No solutions were given to rectify the situation. I accepted the work as is because I figured it would at least be reliable. After a couple of months I had a mechanic friend of mine do some brake work for me and also do an overalls check of the vehicle because it was a restoration project. Oil was leaking from the valve covers, and there were several bolts missing from different locations on or near the engine (engine was removed under for the rebuild). Also, I had two different mechanics tell me that they heard “engine knock” only months after rebuild. I called Rob and asked him if he could take a look at things and see what was going on. He told me that he was swamped but would look at it as soon as possible. I called him repeatedly over a period of 6 months and only got excuses even though I was very patient and understanding. He kept blowing me off and wouldn’t even fix a simple valve cover leak. I don’t know what happened to him and this company, but it sure isn’t what it used to be. I couldn’t even get a print out of the parts installed such as camshaft, lifters, etc. I would definitely stay away from this shop, there is no accountability, no professionalism and no honor. It’s actually a shame because I know Rob is very talented in his mechanical skills. ☹️

Great shop, will absolutely bring my Cobra back for all future work. Rob and his crew took excellent care of My Cobra.

Awesome love rob does amazing work.

Recently took my car in for a repair. Car came back with more of a problem than I took it in for. Took my car back to have corrected, after two weeks, nothing had been done. I picked up my car and had to pay another shop to perform original repair and for the repair caused by this shop.

Dyno tuned my truck because I was having carburetor issues with my new 351. Did a fantastic job at a very fair price. Truck runs great now.

This guys is a genius very knowledgeable a customer of mind recommended Fordspeed for a engine project we were doing. Now we send all of our machine work too him.

They do great work and charge fairly for it. Theyll also work on makes besides Ford; I had them put together a custom BMW S52 oil pump for me (cover had to get milled down, gear had to be swapped) and do work on some some other parts for the engine. Definitely recommend.

Brought my car to him, the owner, he not only tuned my car but also put 02 sensors on my car. And found many issues I did not know that he fixed instantly, my car is built up and not tuned properly from previous owner, not only did he tune it and dyno’d it he also did multiple pulls and diagnostics to ensure most satisfaction my car not only drives better, but feels way newer and smoother with this highly dialed in tune he made.

I use Fordspeed for machine work. Wed tried so many shops that couldnt keep a tolerance and the guys in there 70s just didnt have the ability nor tools to do it right.Ive had a few blocks and cylinder heads done and they are perfect. I still double check with my own tools, everyone has been right.The owner not only machines, he races, tunes and builds.

Dyno tuned my sons cobra, cant tell the difference. Bought a used 5spd, asked him to tear down and inspect, do any necessary repairs. Had for 4 months, told me he started tearing down then gave every excuse under the sun for not finishing. I finally just showed up unannounced to pick it up. Trans was never touched. Total scam artist. Stay far away!!!

We have never experienced worse service.This guy came recommended from someone we trusted. We met with him, ordered parts (which took a month), and then waited four months for him to find the time to install parts. Always too busy. We finally took our business elsewhere. (We found out later that not only did he order the wrong parts, but he overcharged us for them as well). DONT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!!!
