As I was sitting in there waiting for my car to be repaired well for the windshield to be repaired two different people came in complaining about their windshields leaking. So they pull the car up to the bay spray it with a hose and told each person they don’t see where the leak is coming from that right there made me want to go somewhere else. I stayed and let them do it because my insurance sent me there now I have brown water spots all over my headliner because my windshield is leaking as well. They are very professional and quick it’s just somethings wrong with their sealant or something. But great service

Great place for a windshield ! I Had to drop my car off there overnight and I felt safe leaving it . This location is tucked away and incognito 😀!! The only thing that stopped me from giving a 5 star review was upon my arrival picking up my car, I was ignored for several minutes while standing at the counter window while people walked by ! I can say that the technicians were more than happy to answer my questions as I left! Overall not a bad experience!

This location is a poor representation of Safelite. Completely unprofessional. Extremely poor customer service.Had one windshield replacement scheduled. When the driver showed up didnt have the correct supplies to do the job. Had to reschedule for the next week. Waited around from 1-5. My appointment was expected to be around 2 pm. At 3 pm I called and was told the driver would call me with an update. At 4 pm I got an email to say my appointment was automatically cancelled and rescheduled without contacting me. I called and was told no reason was given as to why my appointment was rescheduled. No respect for customer time and sacrifices. Their advertising is misleading.

My rearview mirror got damaged during the install, was supposed to be fixed during a warranty claim, but they ordered the cover not the mirror. Mirror still hasnt been replaced more than a month after the initial warranty claim. Tried calling their shop, cant get a real person on the phone. Tried calling corporate office and they couldnt reach the shop either. Gee, what fantastic customer service. Now I have to make time to drive out there and find out when theyre going to fix it, shouldnt have to do that. I get the Covid precautions, but not being able to speak to an actual person at all? Thats a terrible way to do business.

Took the day off. Guy was here with windshield and the ability to do the job but said since they just did the job in may it was booked as a warranty instead of replacement. So he left. Ridiculous. Never use them again.

First I want to say their service is excellent at the Largo location I have used them several times in the past to replace my window shields, my review is about the companies poor communication offerings. You can not speak to a live person, the phone number directs you to their website to request a quote but the website did not have the repair I was looking for. Found a chat with live agent but it timed out when I was still 15th in line after waiting 10 minutes due to my phone screen timing out. Started over and it took an hour and half to finally reach a live person to chat with, because my phone settings does not have an option to keep the display on the whole time I would have to force my phone to stay on by going into different apps and checking back often on the chat window to make sure it did not time out.They need to rethink their methods of contact, we all understand the shortness in staff businesses are experiencing because of the state of the economy but have a method to call in leave a message for someone to call you back. It would have been better to wait 4 hours for a return call than to waste almost 2 hours of my day waiting on someone to answer a chat. The worst part is that I did waste two hours of my day on a repair they could not do. So save yourself some time and note that they do not reseal windows that leak on the original factory glass.

When other people write bad reviews, listen to them. This is literally the WORST customer service and company around. They scheduled my windshield for Wednesday, called Wednesday morning and said they didn’t have the part and scheduled it for Thursday, I dropped off car on Thursday and spent $30 on Uber only to be called and told that they didn’t have the part and were closing shortly. The guy on the phone said he saw my key sitting there and decided to call me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Still have no windshield after waiting 4 hours and spending all that money on uber.

Took my car in for a cracked windshield. Booked the appointment through my insurance companies app (USAA). It was scheduled for the following morning. They allowed me to drop it off the night before during business hours. Called me in the morning and had it all wrapped up ahead of schedule. The tech, Noel, came out and walked me through the dos and donts for the next 48 hours to ensure proper curing. Enjoyed the walk through and appreciated the professionalism. Recommend this Safelite location.

We were are on vacation and the rear view mirror failed, the mirror became unglued from the glass. Safelite repaired it while we waited and had us back on the road within the hour. Very courteous, very professional and I would highly recommend. Thank you for taking care of us so quickly.

They let me drop my car off the night before my appoinment in hopes they could complete the repair early since I needed to leave town the same day. My appointment was at 3:30 & they finished it by 1:30, 2 hours EARLY!! I was super happy with the quality of work & the personalized care the technician gave me during our checkout.

I am extremely frustrated with this company. We have had 2 appointments that nobody showed up for. Today, they didnt even give us the courtesy of a phone call or a text to let us know they werent coming. This is after I spent an hour on the phone waiting to talk to someone when they didnt show up the day before. I was clear with the representative that regardless of whether our insurance was paying or not that I wanted them to come out and we would pay out of pocket. I was expecting for safelite to handle the insurance part of it which they did not do. Today, appointment try #2, Despite receiving an email that my technician would be someone named Ronald and that they would arrive between 8 and 12, when I checked online the website said they were still trying to determine coverage and no one ever showed up. I dont believe they ever even reached out to my insurance company based on the conversation I had had with the rep the day before.I will be using a competitor at this point and I urge anyone who values their time to avoid this company.

It is June 30th and my service with these guys started on April 10th and still not resolved. After getting a chip in my windscreen I was told to come in to get it fixed. Arrived at the store, waiting 45 minutes for them to say they couldn’t repair it and it needs to be replaced. A month later I get a call to go back as they have the part. I drive to the store wait over an hour for them to tell me the replacement has a scratch in it snd so they need another one. (Why was this not discovered before I arrived?)Nearly 2 months later of radio silence awaiting a new windshield to arrive (not their fault the part took so long) but trying to get them on the phone to confirm is impossible as No direct line to the store. I finally get a call saying they can replace. Appointment booked for today and tech will arrive anytime between 12-5pm. I don’t go to work in the afternoon waiting and the tech is a complete no show. No call, no email at all. I waited a bit of time in case he was delayed to call the store and they’ve already closed for the day.Terrible customer service. Terrible at communicating. Unprofessional at not turning up and I’ve missed so much work because of their incompetence. What do I get in return safelite?

I’ve had to have my windshield replaced on my 2017 GT350 4 times in the last year but thankfully Sean has been the one to work on my car each time. From customer service, to speed, to overall understanding and empathy for their customers, I drive out of my way to make sure I continue to use this shop because everyone, especially Sean, continue to deliver the same exceptional service every time I’ve been here. I initially made an appointment through my insurance company with this Safelite location on 4/5/21 for a 4/10/21 appt. On the day of the first appointment, my husband dropped his car off, and I picked him up. Hours later, Safelite calls to tell us that they dont have the right windshield, despite my insurance providing the exact year/make/model, and vin number of the vehicle. Safelite told us that they did not know when they could get the windshield and therefore would not give us a follow up appointment. The next appt ended up being 4/22/21. At this point, Safelite was well aware of the vehicle, as they again had documentation through insurance and had seen the actual vehicle at the prior appt. My husband dropped the car off, ubered to a nearby location to pass the time, and shortly thereafter, he gets a call that Safelite ordered the wrong windshield for the SECOND time. Fast forward to our third appointment, on 5/14/21. Same situation, my husband drops the car off, leaves in an uber, and minutes later, gets a call from Safelite stating for the THIRD time that they ordered the wrong windshield.My husband does not drive an uncommon vehicle. Its a Volkswagen. Unfortunately, we could not take our business elsewhere, because according to insurance, the windshield required some sort of calibration that only Safelite was equipped to do. We do not live close to this location, so wasting time and money driving to Largo, dropping the car off and ubering, only to be called a half hour later that they made the same mistake for the second and third time was inconvenient and frustrating.The only reason I am giving Safelight 2 stars is because at the FOURTH appointment, on 5/28/21, they have finally replaced the windshield we have been trying to have replaced for two months.

My wife and I went to this location in largo a few years back and had excellent service. But recently I got another vehicle with windshield damage and needed a replacement. I made an appointment a week in advance. Unfortunately my GPS took me 5 minutes past the seminole location making me 15 minutes late for my appointment. I explained my situation when I arrived and asked the secretary if there was any way I could still get my windshield replacement today since it wasnt my fault for not being there on time. She said have a seat in the waiting room and Ill look and let you know . 45 minutes go by and Im watching people go in and out of the waiting room with no response from the secretary. (I was patient and thinking shes just very busy.) After 45 minutes I went to check her progress and she told me there was nothing she could do for today and offered to reschedule me for another 4 days out. This was infuriating because she could have told me sooner and not made me wait in the waiting room for so long and waist my time that I could have been looking for someone else to replace my windshield. So I do not recommend this location because they apparently have too much business and no line of communication with the customer.

I told the girl, she told me Id have to take that up with the vending company. I told her that didnt work for me. A gentleman came and gave me my money back.

Easy to set up appointment and handle the claim with insurance. I was also able to use their online portal to change my appointment time.My tech was Casey and he was incredibly thorough with his explanation of the replacement (I asked several questions) and also very polite. I highly recommend this location if you need your windshield replaced.

The came out replaced the windshield then within a week had a stress crack after dealing with a rude technician from the get go then called they sent out a different technician this time named Ronald who proceeded to say that it wasn’t a stress crack which is what the customer care guy said it was when I described it to him on the phone since you can’t feel a crack on the outside of the glass nor on the inside of the glass so the customer care guy said it must be a stress crack that is going on so I think it is very unprofessional for a company to charge the insurance company double what they charge when they come out to put a windshield in then proceed to say that it isn’t covered under warranty when the customer care representative is the one who stated what is wrong with the windshield.... especially when the vehicle is garage kept and nothing hit the windshield as it was being driven.

I made an appointment yesterday to bring my car in for a fill. After the technician looked at The wind shield he determined that the whole window would need replacement. He gave me an early appointment for the next day and had me in-and-out in under 2 hours. They were very respectful and very professional. The replacement was done in a few hours and pickup was just as easy and they encouraged me to look things over.My single gripe is I had two wait a week+ from the time I contacted them but I do understand that parts had to be ordered and my insurance company contacted.

Was in Florida and had my window busted out. Called and spent a long time on the phone to make sure they had he correct window. I wasted an entire day driving here to get it replaced and they had the wrong one. I didnt get my window fixed and then they cancelled my appointment so that there wouldnt be any follow up from the corporate satellite company. Not happy with this service. Horrible. I had a broken windshield on my Audi while traveling. All-State scheduled replacement over an hour away from where I was. Arrived and found out that the after market windshield they ordered didnt fit. Left the shop and immediately called the shop where I live in Lago FL. Told them what happened. Gave them the correct Audi part number and schedule the replace ment . They would call when the part arrived.No call. Tried calling the shop and now safelight ONLY deal with customer through website. Call 800 number and no way to call shop. They would email them! Again no response. Horrible service

After scheduled appointment, having to wait several days. We were told they couldn’t change our windshield because they were afraid to damage the trim on the vehicle. We have use them several times before, but never again. I would not recommend them to anyone. Very unprofessional and shown lack of experience. We had another reputable company do the work which was done quickly and expertly.

Will say right away, that technician did his job pretty well and quick! Found few minor scratches on the glass tho. My main concern is customer service/front desk. When I did claim with Geico- it was clearly saying I’m getting OEM glass for my 2020 Mazda. Geico scheduled appointment with Safelite. At the time of my appointment arrogant front desk lady just asked for my keys and told to wait 2 hours. When I asked her: “wait, what type of glass it will be? (Likely my friend advised me to check they put OEM)- she said “ regular”. Sounded like: why do you really care? I said: I supposed to get OEM- she said call insurance company. After that they ordered OEM. I thought- Ok, either Safelite, either Geico messed up. But at the time of my second appointment when I was waiting for my car to be completed- another customer came and I heard the SAME conversation as with me. That lady had State Farm insurance. At that point I was sure that’s it’s not the insurance company failure that people don’t get OEM right away. So, my advice- call Safelite before you go to your appointment and confirm they have OEM ready for you, if you need it.

Changing my review to 1 star until I can actually get in touch with someone from safelite. My new windshield has hard water stains so bad that I cant see to drive when the windshield gets wet. I scrubbed the hell out of it with vinegar to no avail. No response from safelite customer service, and no way to contact the shop without physically going in. Pathetic.Bumping back up to 3 stars, they finally replaced the defective windshield but it was a real pain in the arse. I understand we are in the times of an overrated pandemic, but that doesnt mean you cant have customer service reps answer the phones.

The service I received at the Safelite AutoGlass shop was great! I chose to take my car in to the shop rather than have them come out to the house because at the shop they can recalibrate the camera with the new windshield and I didnt have to go to the car service shop to get that done.If you do take it in though, be sure they transfer your freeway pass to the new windshield.

We were sent here by our insurance company (progressive). Cracked windshield of our 1 year old Volvo XC90. Safelite told us we couldnt get Volvo glass during a 20 minute call with them, Progressive and myself and if we wanted it to get the OEM glass that it would cost an extra $900 and something dollars. So I was a bit taken back and told them I would have to get back to them. Then looked up the cost difference of aftermarket glass to OEM glass, it was around $200 for me to buy it! So I called a local Glass company who informed me that the Progressive Person I thought I was talking to was actually a safelite Employee. So called back with her and got the glass switched over. To make it even worse the safelite employee that we got when we called Progressive, told us there was never a request for OEM glass after my original 20 minute call with them. New Auto glass company got the approval in 5 minutes from Progressive for the OEM Glass, $0 out of Pocket. Shady Business Practice!!!! SHAME

It turned out that I did not need glass replacement. I went to the Safelite shop in Largo. The Manager and Noel were amazing. Noel was a great tech, professional and a super person to represent Safelite. Everything is fine now including my dash cam.I am a Customer but I’ll send all friends here as well.

The Insurance company wont pay for the genuine windshield, they installed a FUYAO chinese windshield stating that it was the same as the oem except for the missing Mercedes logo on it....well, not even close.1,300 miles, I already have 3 chips. Poor quality glass installed...called the office, they say chips wont be covered by warranty, only glass defects will...if everytime I hit the US19 i got a chip on a glass even for the smallest thing hitting it, something is wrong with the chinese glass....oem lasted 126k miles...

CALLED SAFELITE ON PASSENGER WINDOW REPLACEMENT & FIRST REPAIR MADE ON 12/21/18 ON FORD F250 AFTER SOMEONE TRIED TO BREAK IN TO TRUCK. SAFELITE SENT TECHNICIAN OUT TO REPLACE WINDOW AND BROKE PLASTIC PIECE INSIDE DOOR MECHANICS. AT THAT TIME THE TECHNICIAN LEFT DOOR PANEL OFF & PARTS & SCREWS IN FLOOR BOARD & STATED HE WOULD TAKE THE PIECE IN AND SOMEONE WOULD CALL TO RESCHEDULE AND FIX DOOR MECHANIC. AFTER SEVERAL DAYS OF WAITING NO PHONE CALL FROM SAFELITE. AFTER ATTEMPTING SEVERAL TIMES SOMEONE FINALLY CALLED BACK ON 12/26/18 AND SAID SHE HAD THE PIECE ON HER DESK IT WAS GIVEN TO HER BUT SHE HAD NO INFO FROM TECH ON WHY IT WAS GIVEN TO HER & THE SUPERVISOR WAS UNABLE TO GET A HOLD OF. AFTER DESCRIBING THE ISSUE TO HER SHE STATED SHE WOULD RESEARCH THE PART FROM FORD GET A CORRECT PART ORDERED AND WOULD CALL BACK AS SOON AS SHE HAD SOME INFO. ON 12/31/18 WE FINALLY GOT A CALL THAT THE PART WAS IN AND REQUIRED A CABLE & THE TRUCK HAD TO BE BROUGHT IN FOR SERVICE. My experience with Safelite has been awful. The technician came to my work to replace the windshield. Everything was fine until I lifted the tape which was placed onto the windshield. This tape was conveniently covering a chip in my cars paint that was caused by the technician.I called Safelite back who then scheduled a warranty inspection. I met the technician at the inspection who then took photos and advised I will receive a call back. I did receive a call back just to be told that the photos taken were not adequate, and better photos needed to be taken. We then scheduled for a second inspection the following day.On the following day, I received a voicemail at 3 PM from the technician who advised that they forgot about the inspection and that it needs to be rescheduled to next week. I call back at 4:30 PM to attempt to reschedule. I was on hold for 7 minutes and gave up since I could not get through to anyone.

I got a chip shortly after buying my truck. I brought it into their facility and the technician did what I guess is the best he could. It was still visible and he explained that because of the placement and damage that there would always be some trace of the prior damage. Im not the trained expert and as long as it is fixed and I am not charged, and it is not in my path of sight I am okay with the fact that it is a visible scar. Im not okay with this place or any place when the tech or sales person say that they need a 100% positive review from their customers. It makes the company and the service sound shady. No company should tell them that they do not get commission or bonus or performance reviews without 100% positive evaluations. If I have to give a 100% for this guy to make a living but I am not 100% sure of his performance than I can end up the fool. If this is mechanical 2 days later it breaks down and Ive already submitted my review. Sorry, Ive just always hated this practice and when I get asked this, I just never review them. I would feel more comfortable if this was the practice of say, McDonalds. Where all my service is complete and done before I leave the place. Every place that does this is asking for a review of competency which unless you have some expert knowledge into the service performed, is just all supplied by speculation and many people will do just that in order to see to it that a nice service/sales person gets rewarded.

I set an appointment then the company calls the day of installation and wanted to reschedule because it is a 2 man job and they were no prepared for that. I informed the guy that called to have someone call me cause your fired. No ever called but your system keeps bothering me (emails) so if you striving for a review there you have it. I called glass pro and they picked it right up, no issues and they knew without me telling them its a 2 man job.

I would like to thank fine @$$ looking Noel who did a great job with my Jeep window. He has superb customer service skills bc I saw him kindly after a rude & pompous customer with a Lexus tried to flex on Noel; Mr Noel demonstrates tact and exuded the utmost professionalism to this SUV owner. The repair looks great and I was in and out. I received some hot cocoa in the lobby . As they have a assortment of teas, coffee, and hot chocolate 🍫 ☕️. I am grateful. I also got next day service. I hope I don’t but if I do. I will go with this location for my windshield needs. 10 stars ⭐️!

We are an employer in St Petersburg and Safelite doesnt have our insurance in there drop down and you cannot call them. I tried for three hours to reach Somebody by phone and they blame Covid! They need to open a phone line for Gods sake!

I dropped my car off to get my windshield replaced because of a foot long crack. I was in and out the door in two minutes dropping off and picking up. They were done within an hour. Overall incredibly quick and convenient!

Mitchell and Kyle showed up on time and did a stellar job on my replacement windshield. Fast and very professional, they even went the extra mile and cleaned up some dirt residue that was left on the inside of my A-pillars that I thought was permanent. Probably no other company would have done that! Thank you again guys!!

Fantastic service from this location. They were friendly, knowledgeable and quick. They also looked like they were having fun while providing high quality service.The location is nestled away a little deep inside an industrial neighborhood but still easy to get to. They have a small break room type place where you can hang out while the fix occurs.

The safelite commercials are a joke. I have had the misfortune of dealing with this company two times. The first time, the guy was nice but disconnected the windshield wiper fluid and did not reconnect it. The second/final time, the guy ripped the head liner. I will never use them again. I have never have a text, letting me know who was coming. They could not do my car for two days, so I had to rent a car. Run away.

Visited Safelite Auto Glass today because I needed a new Windshield unfortunately due to a crack from a stone or something that got on the Freeway. It was quick and easy for me got my appointment trough my insurance, 3 days ahead of time and went there today in the morning and 1.5 hrs later everything was fixed. Thank you

Excellent experience, they did a great job, within the time frame (less than 2 hours overall wait, even on a Monday morning) and left my truck cleaner than how they found it! Cant think of a single thing they could have done better.

Windshield was cracked on Tuesday - fixed and out of the shop on Thursday. Everyone in the shop was friendly and professional. Technician was again very professional and thoroughly explained the process well. Car was returned damage free and actually cleaner than when I brought it in. Wish all service/maintenance appointments were this easy. Thanks guys!
