Ref: APSCO Appliance Center, Largo, FL (Awaiting for my refund)On January 27, 2021, I purchased a GE Cafe Induction Stove and paid it with my mastercard charge card. On the original invoice I was told that within a months time I would be getting it. We waited 90 days and nothing. We contacted the company by phone and we spoke with the supposed manager, Laura. They explained that they were having difficulties in receiving the appliances from the manufacturer but that they were working with them and trying to get this as soon as possible. Another couple of months and nothing. Please let me note that during all this time, never did APSCO take the initiative to contact us and inform us of the status of our order. Whenever we called we just kept getting excuses and postponement. By August we still didnt have the stove. I had explained my situation, I am a blind veteran and at the time had a gas stove which is too dangerous for me. That is the reason that we urgently needed to change the stove. All this had been explained to Laura. At this time, August, we couldnt wait any longer, so we looked at other stores and found an induction stove which we purchased. We immediately informed Laura and cancelled our order and requested a refund of my money. She said that she would process right away and would send me an e-mail to notify me of the status. Today is October 28, 2021 and I have not received any refund from them. During all this time we made many calls and we always got an excuse, and during the time we called we were always told that she was attending other customers or that she was on the phone. We would leave our # to call us back and she never called back.
Very impressed with the quality of service received from APSCO. The experts there were able to help me find a part that is near extinct. Although they did not have the item in stock, they were able to locate a business that did and passed along their info all within 5 minutes. Would recommend them for any appliance needs, great work.
On January 27, 2021 my ex husband (a visually impaired person) bought a GE Cafe induction stove for his home. At the time we were told that around a month the stove would be delivered. Never came. We called they said it would be another few months. Long story short, it was August and he still did not receive the stove. At that time we found another induction stove at another store, purchased it, called APSCO and explained that we could not wait any more to please refund the payment. We were told this would be done and that they would let us know via e-mail. Never got the e-mail, never got the refund and all our calls and e-mail are not being answered. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
I called this location several weeks ago looking for a washer/dryer combo for my parents who are relocating to the area. At the time there were no units in stock, but a delivery was expected the first week in October. There were only a few units still available so my mother gave a credit card over the phone right away. This week both my mother and I have been calling the store since Monday to get a status on the order. When a person does answer the phone we’ve been told that they are not a sales person and cannot look in the system to check on the order,OR that the salesperson is busy, will be given the message and call back. So far 3 messages have been left without a call back from the salesperson, Laura. I’m not living under a rock and understand the supply chain issues at this time, but I would expect some courtesy and a response after 4 days. If you look on their FB site someone seems to have the time and the technology know how to make a daily post so I’m at a loss as to why it’s not possible for someone to look up this order and return a customer phone call. Never again with this company.
Called about a refrigerator part. Jen was very helpful even ordered in my part and it was only $2.51. Sent my husband to pick part up and he said that all 3 people in the building were very nice and helpful. Will definitely return for any other part I may need.
Ordered a dishwasher and got excellent service. Our installer was very friendly and efficient. We appreciated his service !
We called APSCO after our animal hospitals dryer went out. We have stopped buying from other places who do not service their products as well as sell them. Wrestling with both a selling arm and a different service arm has proved to be a challenge and when our washing machine or dryer goes out, we get backed up quickly and we either have to divvy up the laundry for our staff to take home to wash over night or haul a lot of towels and blankets to a laundrymat - which is truly not feasible. Nonetheless, knowing our situation, Big Bob and their delivery person made special considerations and delivered our dryer that same day. Our kennel staff and all of us at Bay Moorings Animal Hospital thank them!
I was very disappointed in their service scheduling. I have been purchasing appliances from Apsco for years and have always been impressed with their service technicians. As a realtor I have been sending clients to them. I scheduled service last week for an appointment after 2:30 pm and the person I scheduled it with told me that shouldnt be a problem they would call me 2 hours before they were going to arrive. After waiting a week, I received a phone call at 9:30 am that they would be at my house in an hour. I immediately called back and spoke with Jen to remind them that I needed an afternoon appointment to be told that because of where I lived I could never have an afternoon appointment. So, apparently they can never help me. Poor customer service in my opinion. I called a competitor and they assured me they could come in the afternoon on Monday. Hopefully, they will be able to accomodate and will gain my referral business.

I have to say it was so nice to finally get some genuine customer service. This is a family owned and operated business, and you can tell.I called looking for a particular washer and dryer set and received full attention. I wish I could remember her name, but she took the time to answer every question with detail and compare models over the phone. I was sold.They had the exact washer I wanted, which was delivered next day, and had to order the dryer, which will be delivered in 2 days. Even the delivery guy was awesome.I would highly recommend Apsco!!!
Very helpful and kind looking up a part for me. I felt like I was getting a fair price and he didnt treat me like a fool because I wasnt familiar with washing machine parts. Would go back again. Great service.
I think this is a great place to buy appliance parts. The prices are usually just as good as online and the staff is always very helpful. I highly recommend them.

After Lowes paid no attention to me and Home Depot told me about a month for a new fridge after ours died, Apsco to the rescue. Ordered it on Friday, had it installed by Monday. And there was a factory scratch on the cabinet, they knocked off some money. They stood behind their delivery and product they sold! Great service after the sale. Thats why I like to shop local, they take care of you.

My refrigerator died unexpectedly on a Friday. Called and spoke with Bob on the phone Saturday morning. He listened to my needs for color,size, & features. He then made a few suggestions of models that fit my guidelines AND worked with me to keep me inside my budget and I was able to pay over the phone. Kyle delivered on time Monday morning and came prepared with a face mask (this of course happened during covid 19 quarantine). Kyle was friendly and efficient while installing the new fridge and hauled away my old one. I did have some questions and concerns about the fit of the doors so Bob sent Christina out to see if repairs were needed. She too, arrived on time and prepared with safety equipment. She answered all my questions with confidence. My experience with APSCO was absolutely perfect, even with being an unexpected purchase. Kudos to Bob, Kyle, & Christina!!!

Laura spent ~20 minutes on the phone with me answering several questions. I ended up going with a different company due only to availability issues. (It was a very specific item that I knew would be more difficult to find so dont worry..they do have plenty of appliances from which to choose) She was very helpful and didnt make me feel like I wasted her time, (although I feel bad that I did) The next time I need an appliance I will definitely check Apsco first. I wish every company had a Laura answering the phone.
First I bought a frigerator from apsco the boss Bob did everything over the phone they took away my old unit when I clearly told them I wanted to keep itso they started unloading it and only left the shelves and the doorleaving me without my fridge that was not broken it was justwjust frozjust Frozen was just FrozenI then purchased a washer and dryer unit from them which they said had a 90-day warranty from their store and that they take care of the manufacturers one year warranty. Well not even 2 months in my washer broke and there was water going about 3 miles down the street from my home so I called them and they sent somebody to take a look at it and I was not home at that time because they gave me the wrong time schedule they showed up at 1 when they werent supposed to show up until 3. so they ran the units leaving me with a ginormous water bill. I have yet to be able to get ahold of Bob so I can get my manufacturers warranty which I was told that they take care of but one of their employees told me that Bob is crooked and there are no one year warranty is he just says that and I requested three times on my home surveillance system that I wanted my warranty papers but was assured I was in good hands. Then covid hit so I have yet to be able to get ahold of them. I have everything on camera audio and video and my unit not even 6 months old is broken but Bob wont give me my guaranteed 1 year warranty and didnt honor his own 90 day warranty. Good thing my daddy is a aggressive lawyer at one of the most known firms of the whole State. He wont even call back. I want my unit back n my washer and dryer unit fixed or a new one for the woman to try and charge me $70 just to look at it when I was already under there 90 day warranty I hadnt even had it for two weeks she comes she starts my washer and leaves and next thing I know Im pulling into my driveway icy water all down Clearwater largo road I thought a fire hydrant had broke but nope that came from my house so I have an issue with this company. They need to call me back and you know exactly who I am I am.

DO NOT GO THERE! We bought a Maytag washer from them a year and 1/2 ago and purchased a 5 year extended warranty from them. Well we had to jump threw lots of hoops to get a repairman to come out and when he did he told us to replace it then we told him we had the extended warranty so he sent a repair quote to the warranty company for $886 we only paid $599 for it originally.(And by the way the warranty company is a totally different company?) So the warranty company agreed to give us $599 in store credit. So we went to Apsco and they told us the 3 1/2 year warranty we had left would no carry over to the new one and we had also purchased a base and they would not replace it and said the new LG washer would not fit on it with out ever seeing it? Yeah I dont recommend Maytag either! Like I told my wife the Maytag commercials always say the repairman is never working on them thats because they just replace them! So once I got home from Apsco I researched the LG washer and found it was like $60 dollars cheaper at Home Depot or Lowes and Apsco would not match the price? So we called the warranty company and they agreed to cut us a check for $599 but who knows when that will get here? So the money I save will have to go towards a new base unfortunately.We called the BBB and we got a call back the next day from Apsco and the lady I spoke with said maybe the repairman had a bad day? I responded that he was here at 10 A.M. so other excuses starting spewing out and I said I did not have the time to listen to excuses and hung up! So if the repairman comes out make sure its really early because I can just imagine being the last customer of the day!
My wife discovered our refrigerator was not working at 7:00 am. I called the APSCO number at 7:55 am and they answered. I explained the problem and the urgency to save a refrigerator of food. They had Casey at my house by 10:00 am and it was fixed by 11:00 am. I could not be more pleased at the responsiveness of the entire team and for the professional handling by Casey. He had helped us years before and when he entered the kitchen he said somethings different. Yup we had added a section of cabinets. This is an amazing company and you couldnt go wrong using them for your appliance repair needs. Wayne Jensen

This was my first time purchasing from Apsco. I dealt with Bob in sales on March 21.2018 and on March 22, 2018 the dishwasher I purchased was installed and ready to go. I would highly recommend Bob and kudos to Kyle who installed the dishwasher. Overall was a good experience and I will continue to purchase from Apsco in the future. Thanks again.

I dont even know where to start. We needed warranty work done on 2 appliances (it was already a fight to get it scheduled,...). The Guy shows up and tells us he has only one appliance on his work order (Needed warranty on an oven and dishwasher - his paperwork said refrigerator.....). Anyhow, since the oven broke the circuit breaker every time it was plugged in, we unplugged it. The Apsco guy then told us he cant check anything because he cant plug it in because the cable is too short! And that was it, he left. Needless to say that he didnt have any problem to write on his report that there was no problem found - how should he, he didnt even look....

Seeing the other reviews were from some time ago I figured maybe theyre better now,nope. I needed a replacement hose for my washer so I brought the hose from my unit in. The man at them immediately had an attitude like I inconvenience him by coming in. He wouldnt even look at the hose because I did not have the model number of my washer. I told him a generic one would be fine he said they are all specific. Well I have the broken hose right here....... He didnt care, didnt even attempt to get out of his chair. I get that they are specific but at least you could attempt to help. No one owes you business you have to at least attempt to earn it. Bad customer service, wound up getting a hose at Home Depot
Technician Casey and his trainee Kyle came out to my house on 11/20/17 to troubleshoot why I was having a small leak at the bottom of my GE Profile Refrigerator. After five minutes, their diagnosis was that someone in my household had the left the fridge door open causing ice to accumulate and this melting ice was causing the pooling of water. I was charged $59.00 and was told to call if the problem persisted. The fridge continued to leak so I called again on 11/22/17, the person I spoke to was talking with Casey and he told me that he looked on line and that he thought it was a manufacturer defect and that I should call GE and they would send someone out to repair it. I told them that I wanted them to come back out before I was calling GE. They scheduled a follow up appointment for 11/30 and told me that they would call that morning with a window of time when they would be at my house. Casey called me on the morning of the 30th and said that he ordered the parts to fix my fridge and he thought they would be in by then, but they weren’t so he could not come out that day. He told me that the parts would be in the following day and I would receive a call to schedule the repair. More than a week went by and no one from Apsco called me so I called the Service Manager Laura on 12/8. Laura listened to my situation and told me that this is not how they conduct business and she told me that she needed to speak with Casey and then she promised to call me back that day. Laura did not call me back that day! I called again on 12/11 around 8:45am and was placed on hold for ten minutes while I listened to the guy answering the phone and his buddies laughing in the background. I asked to speak to Laura and was told that she was not in, I asked when she would be in and I was told that she arrives at 9am, 10am, 11am and that I should call back after 1pm to be in the safe side. Laura called me that afternoon to apologize for not calling me back on 12/8 as promised. Laura said that my last part had just arrived. I asked her what parts were ordered and how much the repair was going to cost, she had no clue. Laura said that she had to speak with Casey and she would call me back. Casey called me that afternoon to apologize for not giving me an estimate and to say that the repair would be an additional $356. I called another appliance repairman and he repaired my fridge with parts and labor for $100. The customer service I received from this company was horrible and I will never use Apsco again. I now understand why this company filed for bankruptcy just a few years ago!
I called around to find a part I needed to repair my washing machine. The only reason why I am giving them 2 stars and not 1 is the original person that answered the phone was seemingly helpful. This place told me if I ordered that day I could have the part the next day. So I gave them my credit card ( it was a Thursday ). I called Friday afternoon to check on my part and the first thing the person answered the phone said was Well we call people when the part arrives but I guess I will check. He was not very nice about it at all. Eventually I was told the part wasnt there yet.I call on Saturday and now I am told the part would not be here until TUESDAY. The gentleman even told me on the phone, oh thats weird it shipped from another state that must be why its taking so longDONT QUOTE A DELIVERY TIME unless you actually know it! More than disappointed and obviously I will not be ordering from this company again.
After a lot of frustration we were told they mis-diagnosed 2 of our appliances when our property manager called them out. The property manager had stated they paid Apsco in good faith that all problems were fixed and after he confronted them they still did not refund his purchase even when proof of mis-diagnosis and useless replaced parts were presented by a real appliance service tec with part numbers
Apsco Appliance Center has a great service department. After nearly 7 years of service, my dishwater would not clean the top rack. The Apsco repair man found a broken chopper. He quickly and easily replaced the part. Then he even installed a kit to make the top rack slide in and out much better than it used to and at no extra charge to me.I really like Apsco Appliance Center and will continue to purchase from them.Also, years ago I purchased a GE Induction Profile Range from Apsco. I spent days on the Internet researching the product and prices. Apsco had the best price and did a great job on the installation. I have never had to make a service call on this product.
Neil quoted me a price of $52 for a heating element, when i got there they raised the price to $60. Neil not around when i asked to talk to him. Bait and switch. Told me take it or leave it but the price in $60.

Had Apsco come out to put new shocks on my washing machine in a vaction rental condo that I own. They forgot to hook up one of the hoses. My renter turned on the washing machine and went to the beach. Got a call from a neighbor that water was flowing out of my condo and into the hall. Had to rent a wet/dry vac and commercial carpet fans to remove the water and dry out the carpet. Called Apsco and was given an email address and person name where I could complain. They have not returned a call or responded to my email. Been 3 weeks and I dont expect one now. Will never do business with them again and neither should you.
Do not trust them. I was promised a refund of $69.00 diagnostic fee if i hire their services i ended up paying parts labor beyond the final estimate fee and never recieved my diagnosis fee will never hire them again...
