Service is horrible here. They over torqued my oil filter housing and when I reinstalled my oil filter housing it cracked at 3 lbs of pressure with my torque wrench. I called them to ask for replacement part and was denied saying that it wouldn’t be their fault it broke even though they led to the part failure due to over torquing of the part. Service Manager would not answer calls and was to “busy” to talk to me. Poor service, horrible mechanics, and horrible customer service. Oldest trick in the book over tighten it so it will fail next oil change and be charged a new housing. If I could give a 0 star I would.

Service is really bad, I dropped off my vehicle early in the morning for an oil change and to fix other things. I was told by staff that vehicle would be ready the same day and they will call me to let me know. They forgot to call me and I contacted them before 5p. They were completely lost, nobody knew if my vehicle was ready or not. All day and they waited for the last minute to check it. At the end of the day, vehicle wasn’t ready. It looks like they don’t know their roles and responsibilities, very disorganized and lacking of leadership. This review is only based on my experience on service/maintenance department.

If youre going to get a Car new or used I highly recommend you ask for Esteban to be your salesman when you go into the dealership. He is informative, low pressure and skips all the back and forth and gets straight to a great price.

Good customer service but I waited 4 hours for a tire service change only to find out that they didnt have the tire. Maybe next time you should double check if you have them on stock or not,so you wont keep the customers waiting.

I stopped by to see what had in store for my teenage daughter. I explained to a Male sales person that I wasnt familiar with this brand and if he could explain the different models and he would ignore me. There selection was extremely low, the complex looked practically empty. It i do choose a Toyota for my daughter I will not come to this location and will make the drive to San Antonio.

Absolute scammers. I wanted to buy a truck there and I was doing the process over the phone. Submitted mine and my wifes info for the financing. I did not want to do a trade in. I was looking at a Tacoma for 38k and I had 10k to out down in cash. They denied me after making me send everything from bank statements to proof of income from the VA. Said they needed a trade in. Alright, fine, heres the details on my Nissan. Next day they call and say alright, youre approved. The trade in adds 6k to the loan, your payments are 800 and an 18% interest rate! We only found one bank that would take you. I request my deposit (300, placed to save the truck for me) back. Have to message them 4 times before they finally send proof of refunding. Still took 4 days for me to get the refund.4 hours after they told me 800, another dealership had me approved with Toyota financing with no trade in, a more expensive truck (TRD Sport whereas they had an SR5) for 500 a month, with an 8% interest rate. Again, with Toyota financing. And yet Laredo only found one tiny bank that would approve me for an insane rate.Unprofessional scammers that try and guilt trip you and try to lie.

So no one came out to help. We were the only customers. Stood in the heat, looking at the 10 vehicles they had available, for probably 15 min. In Laredo heat that’s a long time. Left cause no one came out at all.

Used to be very good so I know they can do better on the service side of things. Had an appointment to drop off my car at 10AM, was told ~3 hours, had to call at 4:30PM for an update and they said it had just gone in, come by in 30 minutes. I showed up in 45 and still had to wait 20 for my car. How does it take 7.5 hours to change oil and rotate tires? The visits over the last 2 years have gotten worse and worse, so its no longer worth taking my car in here anymore.

I will be honest. I really like the Powell family, they are good people but the service department can be very slow. I was given a very fair price for my car but Ive had to bring it back a few times for mechanical issues that should have been fixed the first time. On the other hand, they washed my car and havent charged me anything for the repairs. So, all in all, still a good place to get a Toyota.

Ive been a customer of Toyota Laredo for 2 years now. Im now on my second Car Lease. Everyone Ive come across in Toyota Laredo has done an excellent job. My first car lease Eric was great! My second car lease Jose Pepe was so accomodating and helpful and patient with all my questions. He really took care of me when I got my second car lease!! Really such a nice guy!!! In the finance department, Rudy was so friendly and nice as well. Enjoyed chatting with him. He made the lease a breeze!

Good front counter service, but that’s just about it. Just because we customers go for service doesn’t mean we don’t physically know how inspect the work “performed”. I took my truck for an oil change and when I got home the oil looked old as if they didn’t perform the service. I won’t buy the excuse that oil changes color on the drive home, I know what new oil looks like, it doesn’t turn dark that fast. The final note also recommended a Cabin air filter change. I find that funny because I just replaced the old one less than a week ago and upon my inspection when I got home it’s still as clean as it was when I first installed it. Save your time and money people! They don’t do all the services they say they do.

I was always a Toyota Sienna lover. I was quite upset when i went to trade in my 2014Toyota Sienna for an upgrade and was told because of my low credit and a carfax report that was not accurate, they could not help me. I asked if they could help me with the carfax being that the report was wrong. I Asked for a manager to help me and they told me he was busy, so I waited an hour.. after him finally coming out of his office, they told me they would call me the following day.. a week passed and not even a courtesy call. I went back to the dealership and they said Not to worry manager will call you. NO CALL. Well I went to a different dealer ship and received the excellent customer service I had expected from Toyota. I am now driving a new Dodge caravan and my 22 and 19 year old will also be purchasing their new vehicles. TOYOTA NEEDS TO LEARN CUSTOMER SERVICE.. ESPECIALLY FOR THIER RETURNING CUSTOMERS.

Service Department is horrible! Dropped off vehicle at 7:45am and was told it would be ready until 6 for a simple regular maintenance oil change and wheel alignment inspection. I called last week and was told I could schedule an appointment and when I dropped it off was told it was a long wait. Then why even bother making an appointment or why do they even offer them. When you call to check status, they transfer you multiple times and no one answers, yet you get there and they’re all just talking and speaking unprofessionally amongst each other. If i could give it zero stars, I would! Extremely disappointed with their work ethic! Won’t be going back!Ps. I told them to to forget about wheel alignment when they said “you can just bring it back another day” 🐣

Powell Watson in Laredo on Loop 20 BB rd and the body shop At another location ( Roy) is amazing . Amazing customer service . My car took some damage after a pit bull destroyed my Prius . Over $7k damage . They restored my car in great condition. Minor details left to fix. They repaired the bumper, all electrical in motor harness and more . My service provider has been by Roy from body repair and Jose from the service dept - with great service . I forgot the guys name that drives the shuttle and helps out, amazing customer service ! Even the 2 ladies collecting payment, always smiling . They also have an amazing Hybrid tech . Very efficient and he is nice . He fixed another problem figured out by him and not the computer, big plus ! I have gotten every single oil change on my 2 vehicles and etc for the past 8 years . Thank you all for repairing my car and even more thanks for having great customer service .

They don’t even deserve one star. Their lack of customer service is astounding. We’re new in the area and have always dealt with the dealership in Arizona and it was beyond great, but this place lacks acknowledge on customer service. We were ignored at the register and when we call in for an appointment we had to leave a message. It’s been at least 4 days since the message was left, and no return call yet. Went to the Grease Monkey and got great service and customer care.

Great experience! I had warranty work (repair gone wrong at another Toyota dealership in Texas, not a new vehicle warranty as my 4Runner is 21 years old) completed here and it was a fantastic experience. Lots of issues the technician had to address from the previous dealership - they took me in, showed me the problems in person, repaired my 4Runner and had me on my way. Left my car yesterday at noon to have the diagnostics checked since I am going out of town. I’ve been given nothing but the run around and terrible service by the service department. They mentioned they have been working on my vehicle but yet no one can tell me anything at all about the diagnosis. I’ve been calling and texting since this morning and still have no response. The man I spoke to, rudely told me if I wanted to, I could pick up my vehicle without running any diagnostics. I will be servicing my vehicle elsewhere from now on. There is no need for poor customer service and the run around.

The only reason this place is still in business is its in Laredo. If you prefer to have your vehicle serviced by factory techs there is no other option. Call to make an appointment, no call backs, setup one online, not honored at the service dept. Hope you have nothing at all planned for the rest of the day, the service writer did not even acknowledge the line of people waiting to check in.Having talked to the other people in line, many started that they would be looking at another service, three left with me to seek another place for a oil change.

Had an appointment at 2pm was here at 1:47pm. I always wait patiently for my car to be ready I’m in no rush, but it’s 4:40pm and I ask if my vehicle is almost ready and they tell me they barely took it in. Why set me up for an appointment for 2pm if they are still going to take almost 3 hours to check it? I know they are busy but at least give your customers an estimated time of wait or keep them updated.

Everything is hunky dory when youre BUYING the vehicle. But then, forget it. Right down to the receptionist who refused to give her name. I called in to speak to someone because I had received an e-mail regarding my service. I asked who I was speaking with, the receptionist answered, Im the receptionist. I asked her for her name and she FLAT OUT REFUSED to give it to me and hung up on me. I called back and she didnt answer. I hung up and called back 7 more times and she wouldnt answer. She finally answered on the 8th time. It was still her. I transcribe for a living and recognize voices immediately. She said the previous receptionist was gone for the day - IT WAS 10:30 AM! They had just opened up an hour previous and the receptionist was GONE FOR THE DAY already? I hung up the phone and drove over there to speak to a manager. I was greeted by a salesman. I asked for the manager because I wanted to make a complaint. He said to hold on, hed be right back. I could see all the employees from a distance, talking and turning over to look at me. They were all very condescending. They finally took me in to the service managers office. He had nothing to do with the complaint I wanted to make. He was more concerned that I give them a good review on the survey they e-mail you after you receive service. Oh, and the receptionist was TEXTING while sitting there at the phone desk. I was so frustrated. I was told that my complaint would be addressed but to this day, I have heard nothing about it. I go in for the service Im supposed to do to my vehicle to maintain it but I still keep getting e-mails stating that I FAILED TO PERFORM THE MAINTENANCE ON MY VEHICLE. I was assured that they update their records and shouldnt be receiving these e-mails but I still receive them. Its so frustrating.

It is not the first time, that, either the service person doesnt know and says will ask if certain part is under warranty, but never calls back, and doesntanswer calls...or dont know whats wrong with the car. The only reason why I went here is because my vehicle had a recall notice and they are the only Toyota dealership in town (convenient for them). I am always hesitant of going because their customer service is non existant. No one greeted me, I was given the wrong information about who to speak with and the service manager skipped me for another customer that walked in about 5 minutes after I did. I heard him tell that customer to bring back her vehicle In the morning because it was noon already and they would not finish which was a lie ... They just seem lazy and dont respect appointments or peoples time walking into the service center.

If I could give zero stars I would. Went in last week for an oil change and I had a flat tire. I walk in and everyone just stares at you. No one asks how they can help. When you do finally let someone know they dont get in any hurry. Guess they like wasting time!! But anyways.... I have extra coverage on tires and they are under warranty. The guy argued with me for a long time saying I was not covered. Told me he called my old dealership and I even gave him the number to my friend who sold us the car. We no longer live near that dealership or I would have went there. Its a 6 hour drive home. He said he called both numbers (the dealership AND my friend) and they said I was not covered. I then text my Friend and said hey did you get a call and he said no. No missed calls and he spoke to no one. So he flat LIED to my face. I called the dealership and they gave me the number needed to contact for the warranty. I did in 2 minutes what he argued with me about for 30. I was covered. He ordered the tire. I was there 2 hours getting my oil changed and it didnt seem that busy and they asked me to come the next day after 10 for my tire. I got there at 4:30. No other cars were there. There was NO ONE in the waiting area. Service closes at 6... 6:30 and still no car. They start shutting everything down closing up the service center. I go and ask about my car. Its literally sitting in the parking lot with the tire in place. No one even tried to find me and tell me it was ready. No telling how long it was sitting there. The manager said dont worry about it we will handle it for the inconvenience. Now I am being hounded for $67 that the extended warranty didnt cover. This is the biggest joke of a company Ive ever seen! They are rude. Very unwelcoming. I will be making a 6 hour trip home anytime I need an oil change. Or driving to San Antonio JUST so I dont have to give this dealership business.

I dont believe any of the 5 star reviews. They all sound like friends or relatives to the employees. I wish I had read the reviews before buying a car there. I was promised maintenance, warranty, blah blah blah. I get the run around for an oil change. They didnt want to help me when my car was making a weird noise because they didnt hear it on their test run but as soon as I left I heard it again. Only one helpful is Anthony. Over heard an employee est 2 hours for a job when Anthony just told me 4... If youre going to work customer service at least have that skill.

I dont suggest this dealership for buying a car. I had been approved and signed a contract. A month later I was called and told that I dont own the car and that the contract was rejected. Then after that looking at my credit report the dealership ran my credit additional 6 times with out me giving permission to. Then I was told to resigned a different contract with a different company. After everything was said and down its been 3 months I had to go thru 2 different contracts, still havent gotten my sparce keys, just got my plates and yet not one follow up call and all promises made buy the sales team and management team have been a fail.

The service department is terrible at time management. I went to get my battery changed out because it was under warranty and I was told it was going to take about 1hr 30 min., for a battery!? At times you see 5 to 6 employees huddled together goofing around or just standing there not doing anything. The sad part is that there is no competitor so your stuck with this service.
