This place has amazing service when selling a vehicle. Service and body shop are a complete different case, I will admit that the service department is getting better.This time my experience is with the body shop. Bryan was the rep that help me. While his service on the spot was ok, his follow up with client is just none existing.There is nothing more annoying then having a rep tell you that they will call you back to follow up with you and at the end they dont do it.When I called back well over a week later, I was told by Bryan that he was extremely busy and had forgotten about me.That excuse is the most unprofessional excuse to give.1. You make the customer feel he is not important enough, therefore they dont call you back.2. You let him feel that the shop is so busy that your business is not important to them.3. You raise concerns if they will be able to do a job correctly and in the time they commit to since they are so busyIts time for me to take my business elsewhere, as much as I appreciate the sales rep Jorge S. Which does an amazing job I am not sure if I even want to continue my business on this dealership.
Terrible place. My truck has a recall. After service tech Rudy tried talking himself from performing the recall the first time, I left the truck there a second time. The truck did not get fixed. Im done, wont be coming back.
I bought a new battery approximately 2 years ago and it gave out on me. We took our Chevrolet Suburban to the dealership for new battery and to my surprise, it still had warranty. The battery got replaced and we only paid $47.00. Awesome.
Absolutely terrible experience with their body shop. Dropped off my car 8/3 and was told my car would take less than a week to get fixed and it was not ready by then. The new date was 8/16 and again not ready and then was told Wednesday 8/16 and still was not ready until 8/18. When arrived my car was filthy and there was a new problems…my A/C not cooling and there was damage in the interior of my car that was not there when it was dropped off 8/3. I left my car there so they could fix both problems and picked up today 8/19… The damage made was not fixed at all and they were no help getting this problem solved. After spending almost $4,000 I would’ve expected way better service. I would not recommend family/friends getting their car fixed here.
Terrible experience with trying to purchase a vehicle. Wrong informatIon was given before signing contract. Ended up withdrawing my application/contract and left. Found better options in Austin.
My sales agent Uriel did a great job explaining the details on my now, new truck. I am glad, I passed by Family Chevrolet than to go out of town. Why head out of town when we can give local dealerships the opportunity. I would totally go back and purchase my corvette from Uriel.
The wait to get things done to my vehicle is extremely long, which is totally understandable but I wasn’t given a heads up so I could make arrangements for work. In fact, there has been almost zero communication with me in the past 3 hours. I’ve had to go look for someone for any type of update. I’ve been here for a total of 6 hours. Overall, it has been an unpleasant experience.
Our traverse needed maintenance and was taken to the dealership. All services have been done there since we purchased the truck. We have had the same service advisor Mr Rick Luna throughout the years and never been disappointed.
When I called to ask questions regarding the mileage on my vehicle, the lady who answered did not know the answer but gracefully and cheerfully asked and answered my questions within seconds. She also assisted with scheduling my service appointment during my phone call.At the service center, I encountered a friendly young man, who apologized in advance if they took a bit longer. They were swamped that Saturday morning before the 4th of July holiday. Needless to say my car was ready by the time he predicted.I was very pleased with the service at Family Chevrolet.

They were very professional and quick. Definitely went beyond in fixing my vehicle in a timely manner and letting me know every step of the way what needed to be done, costs, and working with my work schedule to get everything done.

I took my car to get service and spent 1,800. I was told everything that was wrong with my car was going to be fix. 15 min driving off the lot. My same issues that were supposed to be fix were not. All your company did was change out very expensive parts that didnt need to be replaced that didnt fix anything. I felt ripped off.. I should of just went to a neighborhood mechanic if I wanted these results. It wouldnt have cost me this much. I would not go back or recommend this service to anyone.

Hello there, on my personal experience with that dealership is the second time I had a bad experience. This time on October 1, 2021 I went to do my oil change but I ended up paying for that service which I thought was supposed to be free charge when is the first oil change in a new vehicle. No again to that place

I got there on time, however, the two gentlemen that arrived AFTER me where serviced first. The email instructions stated for me to wait outside with my vehicle and a representative would come out and greet me. I waited and waited and no one ever came. So I went indoors to look for someone to assist me. Then he took a phone call and I stood there waiting an additional 5 minutes before he helped me. This is the second time in a year that I receive this type of welcome and it seems to me you need to train your people on admission procedures. Or change the wording in the email intake instructions. Bottom line...help the customer at the FRONT of the line, ie., in order of arrival. Other than that, the service was good, hence 4 stars.

My wheel flew off on the highway. Didn’t hear anything from the dealership for 5 days. Dealer finally took responsibility since they had video evidence of the mechanic not torquing the last wheel. Took 2 weeks to fix the wheel. I would avoid this place.
Went there looking for a car, and bought one. The salesman got us a very good deal and everything worked out.
What’s the point of having a appointment for a oil change if it’s still going to take hours to get my car out. Had a appointment at 7:45AM got their on time. Didn’t leave till 10AM! My car was parked the whole time the service guy had forgotten about it till I got up at 9:30 went to his office and asked about it. He stated they are bringing it right out but it was parked in the same spot !!! Asked him so my car is done and he said yes, waited 30mins and saw that they barely took my car into the garage to change the oil etc! What kind of service is this lack of customer service in the service department! Just cause I need a oil change and like going to the dealership to get the job done right but thinking otherwise now. Next car purchase won’t be from Family Chevrolet any more.

Highly recommend Family Chevrolet to friends and family. One thing I did dislike was that salesperson could always help you a lot more than what you expect. Overall my salesperson did his best at helping me and I thank him for it. I would have just like for him to stick to us as customers who he is working with and not roaming around all over the dealership and us trying to hunt him down looking for him. He explained whats good and fair on trying to get a vehicle which it helps to decide whether go forward or not ...other dealerships twist and turn confusing you or damage your credit score and get nothing at end.. so to me Family Chevrolet would be a place to purchase a vehicle .

Went for my first oil change and had made appointment previously, the system is super easy to use and made appointment easily and got email and text reminders, The dealership was also easy and smooth, arrived and was informed Mr Rick Luna would assist me, Mr Luna was very professional and courteous, explained that today was a busy day, did not want me to waste time waiting because it would take a few hours, contacted the shuttle to return for me and made sure I was taken home, Mr Luna contacted me when the vehicle was ready several hours later and even offered pick up if I required it, very efficient service. I was very satisfied with service provided, and will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends. The shuttle driver was also very friend and courteous also offering to pick me up when vehicle was ready. I will be using dealership for all my vehicle needs and looking forward to seeing Mr Luna for his great service.
I gave this dealership a second chance after having a poor experience previously with a certain salesperson in 2019. I was not planning on returning but after losing my vehicle in a collision I decided to come back because of the deals they have to offer on a specific truck that I was in the market. I brought my mother in with me to close the deal on that truck and I have to say that the service we received from the financing was flippant and lacked regard for our experience. We were pushed through the paperwork quickly and were left feeling like our service wasnt wanted or appreciated. I usually give the benefit of the doubt, maybe theyre having a not so great day, but when I realized that these men (including the salesman whom I had a poor experience with the first time) who treated us with a condescending attitude were trying to take the commission from the salesman (Uriel Martinez) who showed us genuine concern for our experience, asked us questions about what were looking for, explained how all the functions in the truck worked, ensured that we felt comfortable, and expressed sincere interest in our business - I felt compelled to leave this review. Uriel deserved the commission on the truck purely because hes the reason why I bought it today. The fact that the other salesmen were trying to take credit is cunning and unfortunately affirms that neither I nor my family will return to this dealership. It takes people skills, common courtesy, and honesty that brings customers back NOT the product or in certain cases, the price!

I literally took 10 minutes outside at the dealership looking for a vehicle and that is all it took. Everything else was done over the phone/text and a deal was made. Mr. Raul De Anda was/is a great salesman and really helped us with our new truck purchase. He made our trading in vehicle a smooth process. We have made our previous vehicle purchases out of town for having bad experiences here, but we wanted to give it another shot. Mr. De Anda did not disappoint! Javier from the service department didnt really give me the feedback and communication I expected. I understand holidays got in the way, but he wouldnt call me for updates. My car stayed there for 2 entire weeks, and there were little updates on what was going on. I was told it would be ready by Jan 30th, then the 31st. Saturday there was no contact, and I had to call on Monday Jan 4th, 2021 for them to tell me it was ready. He claims he called me, but I have no history of his phone call at all. Im not stupid, I know he probably forgot and decided to lie his way out of an argument. Thankfully, Rudy Garcia was able to help me out finally and got the keys to my car. I will be making appointments with him from now on. Ive learned my lesson with Javier.

Had an issue with the tech not the service advisor. When i picked up my wifes car the tech didnt remove the floor paper protector. I had to take it out and throw it. I thought what if my wife had picked it up. She wouldve have had to thrown it out herself. She is very concerned about getting the virus. If he wouldve taken a minute to removed and trashed the paper it wouldve been nice. Going the extra mile for the customer is what it should be all the time. I expected the excellent quality service that I always get from family chevrolet. Guess Im not appreciated by this tech. Keep in mind that he represents the dealer.

Low pressure process from the beginning. No one seemed to hound me like the stereotype is at most car lots. Liz in sales was great with helping to get the vehicle I wanted to test drive and walking me through the process of purchasing that day. She gave me her card with her cell phone number afterward stated that if any problems were to arise, dont hesitate to reach out to her.

So i’m not one to leave reviews, but i reached a breaking point with this specific dealership. The incompetence is immeasurable with everyone that works. They ignore important phone calls, or if you have any questions about your vehicle. It’s sad that this is the only chevy dealership in the city unfortunately. If your vehicle needs service or if you’re interested in buying one do not spend your money here because if i could give this place zero stars i would.
