Rob in hardware is THE BEST! I am constantly taking on new projects I know nothing about and he always walks up to me to ask how he can help! He is always kind, without judgement and extremely knowledgeable! My latest project was an old bench to restore for my besties grandmother. I told him I was sure we could just replace it for less money, but we wanted to learn how to restore it and make it last! Rob took the time to review my measurements and steer me toward the best products for my vision. He even asked me to bring a picture back once it was done! And I totally did! It’s like down-home service in a big-box store. ❤️❤️❤️

Very young lady behind the customer service counter tried to grab my phone while I was showing her an item I was looking for. When I pulled it back, she gave me a VERY DIRTY LOOK and made a nasty comment about scrolling down. She then walked away and another even younger employee was able to verify that the information I was looking for on the website wasnt there and helped me. I then went to a register to check out and wasnt greeted, nor told thank you.Absolute horrible services here. I can take my money elsewhere.

Was just in your store, your selling flats of annuals at $10 something a flat it’s the end of July seriously these should be way down you might have a good month left of them, plus your other pots are anywhere from $15 and $20 these things should be half price! This is why you should not deal in flowers

Absolute worst Home Depot. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Just like several of the other reviews say, the employees just sit and stare and when asked for help they look at each other like idiots. Two employees that were wearing Hawaiian shirts were tied at the hip and NO HELP whatsoever. These two are the reason I will NEVER shop at this location again. Needless to say, after wondering the store on our own for an hour listening to employees walk around talking about how they need some cranberry vodka, I found what I was looking for. Thanks for the help that your employees failed to provide. Seriously 90% of the employees either failed to help or even failed to acknowledge there was a customer there to even begin with. Within the hour I was there, there was ONE employee I saw actually working. I actually stopped to let her know what I observed and thanked her. I will never waste another hour of my life in that location again. There are several other locations. I strongly advise going to another one, even if it’s a little bit further away. This place is horrendous!!

Got a great deal on this Samsung double washer. It was lightly damaged during delivery. Some light scratches on front and and a broken cover door for the clean out.Reduced $500 from original price and with a little negotiation I was able to get it for $1250. 37% off manufacturer list.

Walked looking high and low for something and gave up. Not much assistance in sight, and the person I asked simply sent me in that direction and provided little actual help.

Returned some items, it took over an hour, because the new staff werent trained properly.

Ive worked for Lowes and worked in 3 different states in 4 different stores and they treat their employees like garbage and it shows when they have to close up shop everywhere theres a Home Depot too. Ive also worked at HD and it was an all around better atmosphere and they didnt give their employees unrealistic sales goals to meet, which is a whole other bag of bones, but it was a nice place to work. Now I just enjoy shopping there. Dont really know about how the help is cause I tend to help myself but theyre friendly at the Lapeer at Burton Home Depots

This is probably the best Home Depot I have ever visited. Ample staff to assist with questions. Very friendly and helpful.

Went very well, till I got to the register to can out. Asked the cashier for help loading a small appliance. She said Id have to call to the back. Asked her if I could leave it by the her register while I moved my vehicle up to the load lane. She says I cant guarantee it will still be here, people walk out with things. I took my item with me to my vehicle, and yes hurt myself loading it myself.

So I wanted a piece of 4x8 plywood cut into two pieces for a project I am working on. I got into the store, find a decently priced piece and asked an employee to help pull it down for me. I pointed to the tag and verbally said the price. We got to the cutting area and the employee tells me he is not qualified to us the machine. So he calls someone on the PA to come help. A line forms at the machine during this 30+ minute wait, even after asking multiple other employees for help. Finally a young kid comes and cuts the wood how I needed it after I explained the measurements I needed several times. I go up to the cashier, he has no idea how to ring it up. He asks someone to go get a UPC or something. Then what he pulls up is $40 more than the piece I asked an employee to pull. I explain the situation but no one cares and will not do anything to correct it. So the custom cut wood was left there for scrap instead of giving it to me at the advedtised price. They told me I pulled the wrong one but an EMPLOYEE pulled it down for me after I showed him the tag. Very unacceptable. Could not be more unhappy with the employees.

Hard to find what you are looking for if you dont know the store layout well. Long lines at check out and most registers are self check out. I miss real customer service.

Their selection is stellar and I will always go here to get my home improvement needs.On the other hand, their appliance wait is wretched. Nobody should have to wait for 2 to 3 weeks in order to get a fridge delivered. Money is literally pouring out of their appliance department due to lost business. How is a half a month a reasonable wait time. Maybe its due to Covid, but honestly, they shouldnt even stock things on their floor that arent readily available. It should be considered false advertising. What is the point of a brick and mortar store if they arent going to keep a stock of appliances on hand. Why wouldnt they put a sign on their respective appliances that state what the wait will be. I hate wasting time. If I wanted to wait for an appliance, I would order online.

They stock a decent variety of milwaukee tools, thats an automatic 5-star rating lol. Service is pretty good and the people I have dealt with are friendly.

I would give them a 4.7 if I could. Theyre very helpful especially in a time where they have to put themselves on the front line to help people even when they come in without wearing a mask they still will be as helpful as they can. The Home Depot in Grand Blanc however seems like its owned by a completely different company because their people are invisible to the naked eye I guess and if you do happen to get a glance and catch one of em theyll make you wish that you just kept looking until you found it yourself

Cannot tell you the difference between the level of customer service between the White Lake Store and Lapeer. Lapeer is always fully stocked and have many friendly helpful employees when you need them. White Lake? Not so much. You can tell the overall quality of management at White Lake is poor compared to Lapeer.

They are awsome with the whole masks and people that cant ware one. I havent been in there in a year cause masks. Hey have my business.

The other day I entered the store about 15 minutes before it was supposed to close. I was looking for a specific dimmable light bulb for a Himalayan rocket I purchased a few months ago. There werent many employees around and eventually came across an older gentleman by the name of Don I believe. I tried grabbing his attention because the store was about to close and I didnt want to be rude. For some reason though he looked at me and just continued along his way as if I never said anything. This isnt the first time Ive had issues with employees! A lot of the times half of them dont even know what theyre talking about. That or they are extremely rude and ignore you completely like this one did. Overall I refuse to come back to this place ever again. Lapeer although is convenient is not friendly!!!!

Terrible, again they did not have the one item I went for. It was washered roofing nails, not uncommon except at the depot. My grocery store had them in their hardware section, Ill never be seen in home Depot again.

We had an awesome experience this evening at The Home Depot in Lapeer, MI. We were in the market for Laminate flooring. I called around to different Home Depot’s asking questions about product, install prices, delivery of product etc. I feel i was extremely fortunate to call and speak to Daniel in the flooring department of the Lapeer store. He was very knowledgeable, pleasant, professional and personable, which made me feel very comfortable. I asked how long he was working this evening as I wanted to work with him. My wife ran up to the store after dinner and met Daniel face to face. Daniel was even better in person than over the phone. He worked with us, answered all our 10,000 questions and stayed 100% professional. I wish he had worked on commission as he was by far, one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Thank you Daniel. I’m sure Kim and I will be happy with our new floor.

I had a man named Lee helping me today. This was the 2nd time he has helped me. He worked with me on determining the length to cut and thread pipes, the best options for the price and even helped me realize that my 10 inch wide board wasnt really 10 inches! He was exceptional at his job, so approachable, kind and patient! He was awesome! The Home Depot always has friendly staff... But this man was superb!
