Rebuilt front porch. Great work, competitive pricing, and we were very impressed with the great job their workers did. They worked hard, were courteous, and respectful. Cleaned up after themselves. Even went above and beyond to install shutters for us. Would definitely recommend. May not be the cheapest, but absolutely quality work. You get what you pay for.

Had vinyl siding and gutter installed. Mike and his team were prompt, worked hard and very respectful. They answered questions all of our questions. I am very pleased with the outcome.

We bought our house less than 2 years ago, one of the selling points was that it had a newer roof that we wouldn’t have to replace for many years. That roof is leaking. We called the previous owners who sent us the paperwork. Roof was done by Exteriors of Lansing 9 years ago with a 30 year warranty on materials and labor. Called them and asked if their warranty was transferable and was told yes. Was called by Shawna because I put in a call for an estimate to fix or replace the roof. Told her that there was a warranty and that exteriors did the work. She then told the warranty was non transferable but she would talk to her boss and call me back. No callback, so I called several other roofing companies to come look at the roof and give us estimates, one company did a temporary fix to stop the leaking until we could get the issue corrected. I finally did get a call back from the office at Exteriors a few days after this from a lady apologizing for giving me incorrect information because the warranty was not transferable and she misunderstood my question. We had a conversation and afterwards she agreed to send someone out to look and see what the problem was and if it was caused by something they did and talk to the boss. The repairman came out and looked at the roof. He agreed that the shingles were not started correctly but said the wood underneath was not wet currently. I told him we had someone come out and do a temporary fix to stop the leaking the week before. A day later I got a call saying that Exteriors would not cover the roof because it wasn’t wet when they came out and that the warranty was not transferable. Don’t use this company. If they stand behind their work and do a good job they should offer a transferable warranty and a 30 year warranty should be good for 30 years. Anyone who has had them do their roof should check their eaves to make sure they are not leaking. The roof looks fantastic but was NOT done correctly. The ice and water shield doesn’t come all the way to the edge of the eaves and the starter strip has seams lined up on seams and this is the reason it’s leaking. The fact that this roof was put on incorrectly was verified by 2 different reputable roofing companies. Buyer beware.

Team at Exteriors never disappoints. I had a complex conversion of an exterior wall that involved demolition of old windows, installation of a steel I beam and installation of a tracked door system. Project manager Kevin stayed in close contact with my architect and the door manufacturer to ensure all measurements were correct. The demo and install took 1 week, just as Exteriors had estimated. I could not be more pleased.

FAST! Ive had roofing done before by other companies. Exteriors of Lansing made sure the work was done fast and reliably. I contracted Exteriors to complete my garage and breezeway roofs; while expected it to take a couple of days, it took their team a couple of hours! All this for under $5k.

The actual work they do deserves 5 stars, seriously, its great. Good price too. That being said -1 star because they dont communicate whats going on with your project as well as they could. I didnt actually know when the roofers would show up for example.

Exteriors of Lansing recently installed our roof. It was literally the best experience we have ever had with a construction company. The office staff was great and communicated with us every step of the way. The installers were early and worked late. They cleaned up so well!! I would highly recommend Exteriors to anyone anytime!! Shout out to Exteriors of Lansing for their excellent workmanship on our Siding, Trim & Windows! I had five local companies quote the job and found them very competitively priced. I am a tradesman with 30 years of experience, so know all the shortcuts & cover ups that lesser contractors use and was very impressed during my nightly inspections. Everyone on the team was responsive, friendly and easy to work with. Mark and his team were boots on the ground doing quality work and leaving the job clean each night. New gutters will be next week. We couldnt be happier with the job!

Called for a simple repair quote on a piece of siding that was damaged. Was told they have suspended service work and are booked 3-6 months out, and to try finding a handyman on Facebook.Edit: I appreciate the quick and reasonable response from the company. I understand theyre dealing with market factors outside their control and that theyre not the only ones affected. Ive amended my review accordingly.

They were professional, easy to work with. They did the job efficiently and were able to work around problems effectively. My house looks great!

I hired Exterriors of Lansing in the spring to install new gutters with a guard to stop debris from filling up my gutters. By May I was having water running over the top of the gutters.The whole point of having the guards put on was to prevent my having to get up on a ladder. When I was able to get someone to get up on a ladder the guards were so clogged there was no wonder why water was running over the top of the gutter.I think I was mislead by the company and overcharged. Exterriors is the middle man when it comes to gutters so I paid not only Exterriors but the gutter company. Yeah not happy at all.

Exteriors of Lansing did a great job putting in a slider and a new deck off our master that also included a platform for a hot tub. Everyone from Hunter helping with the estimate and design to Kevin managing the project was great. Jordan and David did an awesome job and were very professional and answered any questions I had along the way.

This company needs a serious improvement to its professionalism and communication. I tried to address the issues with one of the managers, and my concerns were labeled as small and basically unreasonable-- although the sales rep was more professional and apologetic. He dismissed all of my concerns as someone elses fault blaming the workers, the provider of the materials, Covid-19, and even my husband. Listening and real apology would have fixed the problem. There was poor communication throughout the large project-- the only communication the company was prompt about was calling to ask where the second part of their payment was less than two business days after the work was completed, after a project that was completed way behind schedule! If you want someone who treats your property like dirt and doesnt even respond when you greet them, theyre the people to call! Expect cigarette butts in your yard, trash and nails and other sharp objects thats not picked up after project completion, property damage, a lack of an itemized bill, and a lot of confusion in exchange for many thousands of dollars. See pictures-- most significant lawn damage could have been avoided by simply driving on the street. Good riddance.

Exteriors completed brick mold, wrapped doors with aluminum new weather stripping, drilled out two doors to install new deadbolts, and installed new exterior door. All work was completed professionally, on time, and with installers (Mark and Steve) who were responsive to customer questions and attentive to details. I would use Exteriors of Lansing for future work and would highly recommend this company to others.

Exteriors built and installed a front porch on this home and today they came and put up a railing today for that porch. Work was done quickly, completely and competently and I have no complaints. The workmen were courteous and friendly.

I asked for an estimate to install new storm doors to my home Hunter came to my home half an hour late, when he got here he was not knowledgeable about doors, asking my husband what he thought he should do to replace my front storm door. He didn’t measure anything, once he got to our back yard where we park our cars, because of the type of cars he saw in our yard his conversation changed from doors, to what do my husband and I do? Well this was especially offensive sense the two of us are black, and what could we possibly do to afford two foreign automobiles? That was I. June of 2020, it’s August and we’ve yet to receive our estimate. This is the ignorance we both strive to avoid. What does our careers have to do with doors, why was that asked or relevant. My husband and I have chosen another company that we’re very blessed to have complete the work on our home.

I would highly recommend Exteriors of Lansing. We hired them to do siding and gutters. The siding crew was absolutely amazing! They showed up every day on time and the only break I saw them take was lunch. They made some suggestions on how to trim out a bay window area which we ended up going with and are so happy we did. They went the extra mile on a rainy day and were able to complete the job early. Once they were done and cleaned up, you would have never known they were here. Its hard to find good help like this nowadays. The gutters crew came in two weeks later due to weather delays and finished up in just a few short hours. Again, very nice people and we are very pleased with the job and the clean up.

They replaced a glass panel in my front door and scuffed it up. They refused to take responsibility and would not fix it or help pay for the damage and blamed me for the damage. They also did not have enough plugs to cover up screw holes and never brought any back to finish the job. I would never recommend this company anyone.

They stand behind there work and go the extra mile. Most recently we had our siding replaced due to fading and manufacturing issues. Exteriors went above and beyond to make sure everything as taken care of. The contractors who did the work were outstanding and did an amazing job. Exteriors has completed a couple of projects for me. First was the replacement of patio doors, upstairs, with double hungs windows. The windows are great quality. The installers were prompt and professional. They tidied up after themselves. I am so very pleased! The second project was to tuck point my chimney, install a chimney cap, and install roof vents. Again, the project was done when scheduled, the installer was efficient and cleaned up after. I have found all of the people I have worked with to be knowledgeable and honest. Each one is willing to take the time to fully answer all of my questions, so that I am sure I am making the best possible decision.

Back in May 2018 I had Exteriors install hardwood floors throughout my first floor of my home. The job was excellent and the guys were very professional. I also had them replace all of my counter tops with granite and again nothing but quality work and professionalism. Have had them back for siding repairs from storm damage and adjustments to my front door which had not closed properly since we built the home. They fixed everything at a very reasonable price.

I had a great experience with exteriors of Lansing. I had a few quotes from other companys and for the same windows in my house they were $500 less expensive than the other guys. One salesman from another company told me go for it he cant beat that price on the same style windows. So I had some extra cash due to the $500 savings I also had all my window trim wrapped in aluminum. Great quality windows and the installers did an awesome job. Very happy with the work and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Had them replace roof as they initially offered me lowest price from everyone else I called and was referred to them by family. Hunter came out and gave me estimate for work and was told that Kevin (project manager) would be in charge and could contact him if had any problems. This was far from true. Roofers did job quickly but had broken off a PVC vent from my furnace (they replaced it at no cost). They also left a portion unfinished on my roof and it rained and didnt put saddle on my chimney as was in the work order. I tried calling Kevin several times, never picked up. He did leave me a voicemail but was short and never returned my calls. I had to call Hunter to remedy situation/issues. Although concerns were addressed, I shouldnt have to call to fix their mistakes and have phone calls returned. On top of all of that I had to call the dumpster co to have removed from my driveway. Not impressed with efficiency and professionalism of this company.

Torn on this one. Used Exteriors twice. Window experience was great, no issues. Also had gutters done. Quoting and installation went smoothly. But we were told weeks after installation that estimator made an error and they needed an additional amount (abouy 25% more) to make this right. We declined to pay citing pricing and terms in the contract both sides had signed. The issue was not pushed further, but its unlikely well use them again.Note: the additional amount made their uncovered gutters more expensive than covered gutters we had quoted elsewhere. They would not have gotten our business at their corrected pricing.

I havent yet had the work done, but I received a quote, and signed a contract with them today. I inquired about windows because I just bought a house that is about a half of a mile from some train tracks. The windows I currently have in my home are simple double pane new constructions single hung windows. They dont vibrate at all, but they are not sealed whatsoever, and they are very cheaply made. I do not currently have the ability to replace every window in my home, but I want to replace the two windows in my master bedroom, and the one window in my guest bedroom. (I have other windows I will do, but I want to see how these three go first.) Anyways, after I inquired, the owner of the company, Tim Booth contacted me and told me he grew up near train tracks and he understood my concern. He made an appointment to come out today. Back to Monday, when Tim had called me, I had already had an appointment with one of his competitors. His competitor came out on Monday afternoon and did a demonstration and tried very hard to sell my wife and I their windows. They werent the most professional people, but we were able to warm up to them after being with them for an hour and a half. They started with a price that was very high, and right in their price book under the triple pane windows, (they said not many people buy triple pane, but they are the best windows to help keep the elements out, and provide the best quality for dampening sounds) it stated that there would be no discounts given on triple pane pricing. I told them that their price was just too high. He said he would call his G.M. to see what they could do. They dropped the price by $500. It sounded better, but my wife was still not quite sold. That was about as far as they would go down. I then had Exteriors of Lansings owner, Tim Booth, come out today and all I can say is that it was night and day from his competitor. He didnt try to sell us, he simply made us feel as though he were concerned for our situation, and he wanted to help us. By the end of it all he gave us a price we simply could not refuse. It was nearly $1000 cheaper than his competitor, and I think he may have given such a great deal because he understood our situation and he really felt like he needed to help us. So far all I can say is I really appreciate what Tim Booth and his company, Exteriors of Lansing, has done for us. I will post again once the work is finished, but I honestly feel that there isnt going to be a single issue with this process. Thanks Tim

My roof is a year old and I have five different spots that leak. Ive called them they keep telling me someone will call me back but nothing.

Quick service but they sometimes cut the corners to get the job done quickly. Not impressed with the quality of work, I have seen.

Shawna the one who is in charge of billing. She is horriblly rude and unprofessional!I would give this business a 0. NO ONE SHOULD EVER DO BUSINESS HERE.We got our roof done and Hunter gave us an estimate for 7,xxx. Hunter was awesome! Good guy.We signed the contract with Hunter and we had our roof replaced in 1 day! The contractors were great, friendly, and got everything done super fast. The contractors the gave us the Final bill which was for the same amount we signed for with Hunter. We never saw Hunter again after the roof was done or received a phone call.The same day our roof was done we noticed the contractors caused some damage to our garage door. So we called exteriors and left a message.Scott called us back weeks later and said they would cover the garage door, no cost to us. A month went by and we heard nothing. We had to call exteriors and leave messages and eventually after a month and half after our roof was done we got a call from Scott. Scott came out and looked at the garage and told me it took so long because the contractors had to settle thier $500 deductible with thier insurance company first. Okay, so that went through and we got a new garage door about 2 months after our roof was done. After the garage door was finished Scott told me to sign the final paper work so he could get it to the bank and that way exteriors would get paid for the roof. I was not given anything from Scott, no extra bill, no copies of what I signed for for him to send out to the bank.I only had the bill the contractors gave me.The bank called us and said okay we have the paper work in, come on in and we will have you sign.We gave the bank the only piece of paper the contractors gave us. Exteriors was paid the amount Hunter first told us it would cost.Exteriors revieced thier check for the total amount for the roof. After receiving the check Shawna called and said she had a extra bill for some replaced sheets. We told her we never received the extra bill. The extra bill is from the contractors who then stated they added extra sheets on our roof after they had to paid thier insurance company $500 for our garage door. The extra bill is close to $500. How confient for them.Now we are being harrasted 6 months later for the extra bill of $500, which we never received a statement for and exterior already received the check from the bank. The deal is closed.Horrible business! Very unprofessional! Please never call them.

Home Owners Beware!I thought I was hiring a experienced competent trustworthy company, I did not.First this company showed up unannounced at my home and started working without talking to me first. Second when I got home they were pulling out and I found that someone had STOLEN things out of my garage were the roofing materials were stored.Come to find out they sub contracted my work to someone else [very very upset, this is MISREPRESENTATION and I would not have hired the sub]. Lastly the sky lights were installed incorrectly and inspection failed so they need to come back out and re-due them.Don’t use this company they are untrustworthy and do not do a good job not to mention someone on there crews might steal from your home.

It is my first and only choice for home improvement projects. Give em a call and see.
