I love the Fall experience here. I will say it’s a bit overpriced for some things. The tickets are reasonable, it’s $1.00 per ticket. The animals unfortunately look a bit exhausted and unhappy in the small cages. I enjoyed the rest of Merrymeads. Their corn tunnel was so much fun for the kids. Their hayride was so much fun, they have cute little props throughout. They have tons of places to take cute family pics. Due to a little bit of rain fall they closed everything in the matter of seconds and therefore we had to leave. I definitely would go back because the tickets don’t expire.
Absolutely love the ice cream here. The flavours are fabulous and they are on top of an excellent base of quality ice cream. The prices are pretty reasonable, especially for the kids sizes. Its fun to come here for the ice cream and walk around looking at the animals while eating it. The kids enjoy coming here very much.
Merrymead farms is a GREAT place to take your kids! They have hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin patch, ICE CREAM, and I cant forget to mention the farm animals! Shout out to my big boy🐷Franklin🐖We love you! This place is awesome and the prices cant be beat!
Nice experience for grandkids aged 6 and 4 rummaging through a huge selection of pumpkins, gourds and squash of all colors and sizes. Farm animals are, well, farm animals. 😊 There was a kid-sized corn maze very well designed. But the highlight, as observed by other reviewers, is the wonderful ice cream. Delicious.
We wanted to go to the farm so, we looked on the website to see when it opened. It said, 10:30. So we got there around 10:45. We are looking around nothing was opened. The only thing was the pumpkins in the front of the farm. It was roped off and, the post they had up in the entrance said, activities did not start until 12:00. Try waiting that long with kids. So lots of people got pumpkins and left.
Some of the best apple cider donuts Ive ever had, and they pair great with a coffee or milk from the farm. Get takeout freezer bag of pumpkin ice cream, too! Love this place, and my daughter will love the Great Pumpkin event and story book for years to come!
Planned trip last minute to take family. NOTHING was open. No hayride, no corn maze, and no kids mini maze. Found out those things are only open on weekend, seeing how I am working class, I dont have opportunity to get there then. Maybe think about us non Mon-Fri workers?? Otherwise good selection of pumpkin and other fall decor.
Amazing milk shakes and definitely will be back to try more stuff, and super friendly staff thanks
Cornmaze was lots of fun for the family. Staff is very nice and welcoming.
Nice small farm. It was a great impromptu stop with the grandchildren.
What a smooth flowing operation. We went for ice cream after a fun day out. There was a long line for ice cream. But the order takers were friendly and helpful. The line moved along extremely fast. And the pick up window delivered a cup of silky and creamy Death By Chocolate ice cream. If you like ice cream prepare to be dazzled.
Had a great time with the family. Lots to do. Kids loved the mini corn stalk tunnel and hayride. Wife liked the decorations. Lots of fun.
Nice farm to take the kids to see animals and get ice cream. Theres pumpkins and hayrides in the fall. Bring cash because they only accept cash for hayrides and fall type attractions. Unless you want to pay a fee at their atm. They are kind of stingy with their ice cream so order a size up .
Good selection of ice cream. Cost is a little on higher side. Got to watch cows being milked. Feel bad for the baby cows. Cant touch the animals
Their staff arent wearing masks. Any of them. Theyre serving food, interacting with hundreds of customers a day...and not taking this basic public health precaution. I love their ice cream, I want to support this family farm, but this year I just cant.
Such a cute farm. It’s got more of a family vibes to it but still suitable for couples to go on dates. The homemade ice cream was deliciousss!
Best place to get a homemade ice cream. Loved the strawberry n peach flavors. Fun place to visit with kids as they have animals like cows, goats, peacock and pig. Parking is available.Cash preferred when bill is less than 10$.
First time here and believe it or not it wasnt for ice cream. I heard they have amazing butter cake, lucky for me they still had some left.I will definitely be back for ice cream and flowers.
The employees were screaming at patrons and children throughout the entire venue. Everyone was so rude to each other. Its extremely crowded and unorganized. You must pay for everything individually with cash. They have an atm that might work sometimes. Would be great if they would get with the times and purchase an iSquare. Its just very sad and bad vibes when you go.
Best ice cream in the area! Also has other farm things to do for kids. Only went for the ice cream but the kids were having a lot of fun doing other things as well .
Love this place! Great for ice cream and we love watching the animals. We just bought the nicest plant from here too, and it was reasonably priced. Its a great time to come out and enjoy some quality time with family and friends.
Love Merrymead farm. My family and I have been going there for 34 years. Wonderful people. Delicious icecream and milk.
Delicious ice cream. Friendly service. Nice crowd. Quick lines. I wish they gave samples; it is difficult to choose a flavor!
Fresh dairy products including fun ice cream treats. Also, fresh corn is coming into season now, great baked goods and beautiful plants. The staff is always friendly and helpful too!
Great local ice cream/milk farm! Delicious ice cream and sweets! Its nice to walk around and see the animals. They have a cute little store their fall fest is always a hit!
Everybody seemed to of had their Grand-Family. I cant wait to bring back mine. Great place for kids, Ice cream and pickles!
Great place to take your kids, they get to see the animals 🐰🐷🐐🐑🐃🐂🐄🐇run around and enjoy the delicious ice cream 😋🍦.I love it 😻
It is just a pleasure walking around the farm. The shop inside has bakery items and of course their best ice cream. They offer a lot of things all year long.
Their Ice Cream is really Creamy and every bite of it is very rich of Merrymead flavors. You will not find their IceCream in 49 States.
I love this farm! Its on the small side but it is in such a beautiful location that it makes it worth the trip! Everyone should get the homemade ice cream and their fresh milk because its the best, cant get it any better at any other farm! They have animals in the farm you can visit and snap pictures with and the grounds are beautiful for pictures in the spring/fall!
The ice cream is so creamy and delicious. Tons of variety! Plus in the fall (and Mardi Gras) their apple cider donuts are AMAZING!
The most delicious ice cream in the area.DO NOT GET THE LEMON BLUEBERRY!!!Its an addiction you will never shake!
A community staple. All of the staff were pleasant and professional. They carry a variety of cakes, pies, fruits/vegetables, flowers, and other miscellaneous items. But, they are really known for their ice cream. If you, make sure you grab some. You will not be disappointed.
Got my apple dippers it was great but very busy
Been going here since I was a kid. Theyre open year round and always have something going on. Right now theyre selling veggies, herbs, and flowers. They have some of the best ice cream and homemade treats. During fall they have a corn maze, among other things. Great family place!!
I came here for ice cream and the service was nice. They are a little on the expensive side for simple ice cream. I got a double scoop sundae which consisted of ice cream, 1 topping, whipped cream, and a cherry. That cost me $7. I can say it was tasty though.
Was a pleasant day out with the family, got to see a couple of animals, got some produce and some fresh churned ice cream 🙂
I dont understand the tip cup. You are hired to scoop ice cream or ring up fruits and vegetables and flowers, but there is a tip cup for me to tip you for doing your job. Why? If I have to pay you to receive good service then I wont shop here to pay sky high prices for ice cream and a plant. Service was horrible. Ice cream ok. Guess wanting me to support your local business has no meaning to this place.
We love Merrymead; always a great time for the kids to see the animals and a good excuse to get some delicious ice cream!
Fun place to bring the family. One of the last farms in the area that you can still see the animals.
Always a great family friendly location to not only get good ice cream, but they also sell plants and farm fresh grocery items too. They do a great job of having seasonal events, like hay rides, and the selection of ice cream flavors is pretty good. Cash and credit (over $10) accepted and parking is ample.
Love this place!! I had a very sweet person helping me the day I was there. I believe their name was Jillian. They had such beautiful eyeliner if that helps. They are a great worker!!
Absolutely love this place! The service was amazing! One employee, I think their name was Jillian D, was super helpful and so nice. 10/10 will be going again!
Such a beautiful place ! They have 28flavours of icecream!they are so tasty!their are variety of plants and flowers!loved the place! I would recommend others to visit this place.
Great ice cream! Lots of flowers, fresh fruit and looks like they host events throughout the year.
Im all for precautions, but I felt the staff member coming over and wiping a pie box I touched with a lysol wipe was a bit overboard. No one was even wearing masks but were gonna wipe down the pies?
We stop here whenever we are in the area. Their ice cream is the best along with the baked goods. Today we were there for the cow milking. Love this place!
Always a fun time. Their ice cream is the best!
The ice cream 🍦 was very good.
Delicious icecream. I have been going for nearly 30 years.
Always crowded for a reason, ice cream and farm animals, kids love this place and i cant pass Merrymead without stopping for ice cream, also they have a selection of fresh vegetables at a reasonable price.Fall is probably my favorite season to stop as they have hundreds of pumpkins to pick from and lots of Halloween yard art.
Merrymead is a long-time Worcester Township experience. Go for ice cream (many non-traditional flavors) and find all sorts of fresh baked goods, vegetables, candies, jarred goods, and their own brand of dairy produce. Sincerely family friendly❣
Nice little farm and store for family activities and ice cream! We stopped in quick to taste what all the fuss was about. The store is located off the side of the road with ample parking in front. There were signs for a petting zoo but it was closed for renovations so unfortunately we were unable to really gander through the land - just went into the store itself to see what there was to offer.I have to say - delicious ice cream! Lots of flavors, and great texture. Its creamy and sweet, and just the right amount of change between flavors to make you coming back for more. You can either stand in line and purchase scoops to go, or if youre familiar with their flavors - some of their more popular ones are ready to purchase by the pint!Outside of the ice cream, there are other general convenience store finds, along with lots of packaged desserts. All the prices are quite marked up, so its not really worth investing too much money for a few items, but every now and then its nice to indulge!Enjoy!
Very nice place, great food also
Their staffs are very nice and ice cream tastes really good. Clean environment. Deff recommend.Com : washing station very out dated
Enjoying their🍦this year! Yummy
This place is always a treat! Wonderful product, especially the ice cream which has well-earned fame all over the region. It is a wonderful place to walk around, see the animals, and appreciate the wonderful scenery of a working farm. Having a toddler now gives me even more appreciation as i see his joyful reaction.Lastly, their covid-19 plan is so well done and efficient! Looking at the line, we almost turned around. But we stuck it out and it was so smooth and fast. Thank you to all of the hardworking staff who continue to provide fantastic service and a great experience!
The best dairy farm for ice cream!
Stopped for ice cream. It was delicious!
They have baby cows trapped. Its inhumane.
Disappointed in this place. Not enough happening to make it worth going. And the food is just a huge disappointment. Seeing it’s a farm you expect great quality but that’s not the case. Their pies are terrible! The crust is made with palm oil. Why would you serve a pie with such cheap ingredients from a farm? Yuck! Mine as well go to the supermarket and buy same quality pie for half the price (if you like eating gross pies with cheap ingredients). Oh well you live and learn.
I was told about this farm by a friend and I found out what an amazing place this is! It is full of variety of home made, local & fresh products. We tried their whole milk & strawberry milk which was so good. You can quickly taste the freshness of the milk unlike the store packaged ones with lots of preservatives. I also had the best ice creams here (and hence a bit pricier than other places) coconut being my favorite! You can’t miss their ice creams. Also the products are not very expensive as we imagined earlier but were fairly priced. We will definitely buy dairy and eggs here going forward and will try some more products next time. Thanks for keeping up the tradition!
We are on our Pursuit of Ice Cream trail challenge sponsored by PA Preferred and so we hit both Lansdale based dairies. This location, Merrymead, was welcoming, clean and the ice cream was tasty ( banana shake a little too much real, not much ice cream flavor). Prices were a little high, but freshness is worth it (and based on length of line, with in range for their usual customers). Their farm stand produce prices were high for what I am used to but we still bought some pickles and local veggies. The cow was adorable, all animal areas super clean and welcoming. Thank you!
Great service great tasting ice cream!
Always the best. Great family place!
Perfect fall place for families, couples. Its big with tons of space. So much to do like hayrides. But the best part is the food. The ice cream is made there and is the best youll find anywhere.
Delicious Ice Cream and Bake Goods.
Delicious ice cream! Great for kids to walk around and see the farm animals.
Merrymead was a family tradition growing up. We went every Fall when I was a child. I have great memories. Its just not the same as an adult. I still enjoyed it but it is pretty pricey. And really is geared to young children. For my 11 year old doing the giant corn maze was really the only age appropriate thing. But if you have kids 2-8 I think this is more appropriate for them. Still pricey though for what it is. We easily spent $100+ just doing the corn maze, buying 2 pumpkins, and eating a small lunch.
