In these trying times, its great when there are opportunities for small businesses to open their doors responsibly. Today was Local Comic Shop Day and I was happy to bring my business to such an establishment - especially one so amicably managed and whose owner doesnt hesitate to be familiar with and respectful of his regular customers.

Came here on the recommendation of the owner Of the comic book store in Manayunk. Was NOT disappointed! Tim is friendly, knowledgeable and very engaging. So excited to be living right behind this place! My wallet isn’t as excited. ;) Great selection of comics! Get in there and check it out!

Comic Zen is my favorite comic shop around. There is something here for everyone, and if what you are looking for (in print) isnt in stock Tim will get it for you in no time.

Its gotten really hard to find a great Main St USA comic shop. Even harder to find one with an owner as knowledgeable and friendly. This is where I introduced my kids to comics and now they ask every weekend if we can go see whats new.I like that theyve got material for all ages and reading levels, and that its all well organized. I used to love digging through stacks of comics to find the hidden gems but as an adult I appreciate being able to walk in and go straight to the issues I want.Whether youre an avid reader or youve just thought about giving comics or graphic novels a try, this is the place to go.

Great comic store. Owner has a substantial knowledge of comics past and present. He can probably figure out what you are looking for if you are trying to track down one from the past. Good selection of current titles. Willing to special order. Always an enjoyable trip when I stop by.

Great store! Tim is always awesome and easy to talk to. I have never had any problems with my pull and always receive my special orders. All together a great place to get your comics and collectibles.

I am a big Marvel fan and they have comics, small little statue of your superhero like Batman, the Black Panther, Wonder Woman, the store owner Tim, very friendly guy.

Love going to Comic Zen. Tim is always friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Great with helping me pick comics for myself & my daughter. Incredible conversations! A must visit.

Awesome guy at the desk. Small spot, but if its not there my man will have it there in a couple days, ready for pick up. Highly recommend.

Came for Free Comic Book Day and left with 3 bags filled with crazy deals, $1 comics, freebies, posters, trade Paperbacks, Annuals, back issues. Very small place but used very well with what they have. Will definitely come back.

Excellent selections and passionate owner, turned me on to some great titles. I usually head to Doylestown to pick up my orders, but it looks like the Zen will be my place to go from now on.And having Backyard Beans across the street makes for a nice coffee and comics afternoon. Cheers!

Time is a wonderful proprietor, and there are plenty of new comics. Light on back issues, but nice selection of graphic novels.

This is a really great place. I just started may comic pool at Comic Zen and Tim was a great help to help me get a jump start. Tim really knows what hes talking about and if hes not sure hell take the time to look into it more with you. The store has a great collection of the latest comics and collectables. So if your in the mood to pick up some comics, collectables or even better... start a comic pool. Then this is the place!!!Ive been reading DC for qwitte a while now and I use to go to Royal Comics. Royal closed so I went to the one in the mall called Uncanny. I wasnt happy with them (reason why. read my review.) So, I looked for another place and I found Comic Zen and Im very happy.
