As an apprentice in the mechanical trade, I deal with Yale frequently. The store has excellent inventory, and I have always found the staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Great place to get electrical supplies

I had a very disappointing experience with Yale Lighting in Lancaster. I visited the store in December, but they did not have what I was looking for on display. Rebecca helped me review some items I had selected online, but I left without making a purchase. Weeks later, I called and placed an order over the phone. I never got a receipt, but later signed for them in the Wyomissing location. Once I got them home, I was disappointed that they were not what I had envisioned. I returned the items to the store, and only found out that there was a 25% restocking fee when I got a credit on my card that didnt equal the purchase amount! (Two of the boxes were not even opened) This was never mentioned to me in all my interactions with the staff, nor was I offered a store credit as an alternative. This seems very short sighted in this age of online buying and competition. I will never purchase from Yale again!

Are you looking for the besting lighting selection around and outstanding customer service.....LOOK NO FURTHER! My husband and I are are building a new home and have been to numerous lighting stores in search of the “perfect lighting” pieces for our home. Yale Electric on the Manheim Pike has the best selection HANDS DOWN! Not only is their selection a step above the competition, but their employees are professional and extremely accommodating! I had the pleasure of working with their sales associate Becky and she was AMAZING! She took her time to be thorough with me in explaining the different types of lighting, my options and was very knowledgeable in design concepts. Becky definitely sets standards for others in her field to emulate and is a real assets to the Yale Electric’s sales team! My husband and I came home with our “perfect” pedestal lights and will be returning to Yale Electric to purchase the remainder of our pieces, once we settle on our home in two weeks! As an electrician I go to Yale fairly often. Out of all of the locations this is my favorite to go to. The employees are knowledgeable and great to work with. One big downside is that they have limited their stock recently so you often get what you need the next day.

We came for hard to find electrical parts, nobody in town had them. We came to Yale as a recommendation, a guy at the counter named Efrain got it right away and made me feel valued as a customer. Poor guy is doing the job of 20 people, they are always quite busy.

Smooth in and out to pickup a part for my electrician. Friendly counter salesperson.

Okay your not even allowed in the lighting showroom without a appointment. I called and said on vacation till next week. I drove down the road to the Lighting Gallery at chelsea square and bought lights.
